Prices are very reasonable here, great place to do grocery if you live nearby.
There were too many wet floors and literally waters on the floor. Very dangerous. Many shelves and fridges were empty. Many essentials, like: frozen vegetables were no where to be found. I like their small carts and the delicious smell of the freshly baked goods from the bakery in the back of the store.
Welcome to the neighborhood little market! This is a delightful store, clean the employees are super nice, and it has all of your basic food items. And even a few surprises. This is a bring your own bag store, and it is worth every penny. The food is fresh, plentiful, and the store is organized very efficiently. Highly recommend!
This was my first time going to this store, prices was reasonable and cashiers were friendly. No long wait lines
Its like Aldi on steroids. It has a bakery. It sells baguette, croissants and stuff that taste close enough to the real thing -- at prices that would make you forgive the rest. Good coffee section especially if you are looking for whole beans. And staff that dont act like they have lost the will to live, which is always a plus in my book.
Brand new store opening. Some of the price items were comparable to other grocery stores like Aldi. Found selection of other items that were price significantly cheaper than your mainstream grocery stores. Very clean, and friendly customer Associates. They even have a fresh bakery located inside. They also carry a selection of novelty and seasonal items. Highly recommend.
Pretty nice place, quaint. They had brand names from back home in Philadelphia that I have not seen in years. Although I dont live in this area I will be returning to shop here.
Some of the items were at a great price but selection on others was very narrow and not all was greatly priced.
Store is beautiful and clean. Great selection. I was annoyed that i was mis charged for a sale item then when I went to call the store i got the customer service hotline.. furthering my annoyance however they made it right. Emailed me a gift certificate for double the different amount.i love the recovery. Thank you
Remember tp bring your own bags. Some name brands, mostly store brands. Great prices
First & last time at this store. If you need assistance (like an electric cart), youre SOL. They only have 2 and they were both completely dead, not plugged in, and had employees personal items stack on them (such as jackets). There were no baskets available inside & the outside cart returns were full. They were MUCH further out than I had even parked (in a handicap parking space). Im not lazy, just physically incapable to doing that. The employees were rude and acted annoyed that I tried to even speak to them. There were huge puddles all over the store. Im so disappointed because Ive heard great things and was excited to try them out.
I found my new favorite coffee, and some hard to find gift items, oh they have clearance gift items too. The cokes were in 10 packs not 12 packs, bummer same price elsewhere for 12 pack, but they had red cream soda!
It was nice. Nice employees and very well stocked
Good quality grocery, vegetable and food store. Collection is good, price is reasonable. I would request to increase the fresh vegetables stock.
Im from California. This store best of the best. Open store in California in Sacramento some store pls🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐
I feel bad giving 2 stars to this specific location. Maybe its more of a Lidl corporate issue. My problem is Lidl is so much different then other grocery stores. They dont do bags. They have limited selection. Seems unorganized with random pallets in aisles even. I went once because it was the closet grocery store for a quick pick up. I needed an onion. They were out? Very strange. There is no onion shortage that I have heard about. I got flowers for mothers day instead to save a trip, and I was given a bag. So weirdly, my first trip I believed they did bags after I left. I came back with no bags my second time? I had to leave the store with 20ish items not in bags. If you can purchase some sort of a bag there, I was not advised that option. Customer service needs to up its game for such a different grocery store. Definitely not my first option for a grocery store.
Very nice place, serious competition for Aldi. The checkout is not streamlined though -- bagging is the bottleneck, because there is no separate bagging counter like at Aldi. The divided lane with two separate areas for customers to bag is not ideal in terms of social distancing, and the checkers can scan way faster than two customers can bag
Good place to shop..Affordable
Very nice, bring your own bags.
Don’t expect any sort of customer service coming to this location.I’ve been various times as it’s nearby, but the employees are constantly rude and make absolutely no attempt to have any sort of customer service. Great location and great variety of options when it comes to what they have to offer but their customer service is non-existent.
The commercials have been pushing for you to come so I went and on todays visits upon entering the store and they were out of sanitizing products but luckily an employee was there to help. Nice place and I understand business has not gotten back to normal but someone should atleast make sure the veggies are fresh looking and not about to die.I like the fact that its a counter at the door to tell you how many ppl are in the place. Also I was surprised to find that you sell everything from food to clothing. Hopefully in the future when things are better I will submit a better review.
I love this store. It is like a Diamond in the rough. A fun and refreshing store experience, a good staff, friendly, peaceful shopping, nice people. The prices is very good. To me it is better than Aldi’s. Judge for yourself. A Beautiful Jewel. Wonderful Flower Choices. Fresh Produce, and a Very nice Bakery. Leave with a Smile. Don’t forget to bring your own shopping bag, or they are available for purchase. Enjoy your Day.
I liked it well enough and the staff was nice. However, some terrible man had a random fit in the store but the staff handled it as professionally as they could. Despite that Id go back.
Nice store. Not always stocked.
My Favorite place to shop. Great prices for food and other items they have!! Very European!
A very good grocery store has a very big inventory and sells drinks as little as 75 cents. Good to buy food and drinks for a low cost.
Great place to shop and nice staff
I tried this grocer back in October and did not enjoy the produce, meat selection nor the upkeep of the store. Since it is such a convenient location, I opted to try again. Well, I was still just as disappointed and irritated because I had wanted to love it. It is not because I’m some Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Publix regular... no, I pretty much only shop at ALDI and Costco. I just can’t get on board with their quality. I will say I would give 100% 5 stars to the AMAZING customer service this time by my cashier Destiny. She helped me bag my groceries, which was very kind as she did not have to.
So...the place has amazing prices and good quality products but they don’t do a good job keeping the store stocked. I usually arrive there 2-3 before they close and the fruit/vegetable area is quite empty.Another thing: cashiers are 90% of the time really rude.
Fantastic service, great prices... The specials are often unbeatable! I would suggest you go in for fresh produce, and not just the household goods that they have in the middle of the store, some seasonal Christmas items are already on sale and unfortunately they do sell out of their more popular deals! Totally worth walking into and exploring ☺️
Place is very organized and has great prices!!
Well organized and very clean grocery store. Easy too navigate and not too crowded. Excellent customer service by everyone I interacted with
Good stuff can be found here.
Pleasantly surprised low prices and great customer service.
Lidl in Druid hills overall solid store. Iv been coming to druid location since they’ve opened. I know about 80% of the staff there by name. Having over 20 years of experience in customer service a lot of the comments made are any retailer. A lot of items that tend to be out are often WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. The employees are really nice. As Iv had the pleasure of speaking with a few. They take time to remember locals. Druid hills community I must say the people around the area tend to be rude, high maintenance and want to be waited on and hand foot.Personally I love lidl. Low prices, fresh bakery, nice staff and often staff giving coupons to Locals who forgot or never received them. Love it!!!!!!
Amazing place, never knew about them but went in a few weeks ago. clean, nice stuff great prices and friendly staff.
I guess instead of a clean store with any customer service, you save a dollar or 2. Its unnecessarily dirty even around the store. The food quality is suspect. Cashiers dont even say hello. Id rather spend $5 dollars more at Publix & at least walk out with a smile.
The workers are very helpful and friendly
Cheaper prices compared to any other grocery store however my only complaint is that there are never enough registers open, like more than ONE-no matter what time of day it is. I’d rather pay the extra dollar or two for a similar product at Kroger just so I can avoid have to wait in a long line.
Basically an up-market Aldi, nicer and cleaner with a much better selection of fresh foods. Very competitive prices and their private label selection is both great and excellently priced.
Staff always smiling and helpful.
Went in for the first time just to see whats it all about...has about half of what a large chain store word have. Prices are ok.
Much better than Aldis. Wish they would get some more stores in the area. Great selections & wide aisles.
First time visiting LIDL store and I was pleasantly impressed. It reminded me of a little European neighborhood store, well stocked and incredibly helpful employees who seem to take great pride in working for LIDL. It will definitely be my go to market and I will pass the word!
Super high quality low low low prices. The store cannot be beat Aldi Publix and Kroger not even close to Lidl
Love it. Just need outside cart holder.
One of my favorite markets! Nice selection of organics produce and vegan products. My favorite vegan yogurt brand Dahi is well stocked there. Love the variety at Lidl.
Great prices and they have everything you need in one place
Great store! I was surprised by the amount of merchandise imported from Germany. And they have great prices! Many of the Lidl branded items at much less (sometimes half) of the national brand. Awesome!
I always find something in Lidl when I shop there. Great deals to be found. Love the produce.
Love this place. They have selections that you cant find in other grocery stores as well as name brand things. Bakery has all kinds of delicious yummies. Ailes are wide and easily navigated. Prices cant be beat and check out was quick and effortless even with social distancing.
I go to Lidl for its great Bakery
I like!! .59 gallon water.... you cant beat it! We bought eggs and milk and a few other random items. It was our first visit but Im sure it wont be our last. The place kinda put me in the mind of an upscale Aldi.I picked up the ad after already shopping so we didnt get in on all of the sales items. The place was clean, the service was friendly and on most items the prices were right! I would definitely recommend this place and we will be back soon.
Good prices, good selection of fresh vegetables and meats. A bit lacking in other things (at least I couldnt find many the ngs on my list).
Prices are good for now, but theyre sold out of merchandise both times I went.
Love this place, great prices and the freshest pastry.
Opening day was very friendly! They were relatively well stocked. The staff was courteous and cheerful and pretty knowledgeable.Wheelchair accessibility seemed okay. They are missing somethings, but the store is new. Theyre also not enforcing Covid 19 distancing as they should.Still, this is a great choice to add to the neighborhood.
Overpriced and bougee but eco friendly and high quality store brand items.
Clean great inventory
On our way into the store there was an older man with white hair spitting at POC customers wearing a mask. We saw this same man grocery shopping in the store not wearing a mask. Many customers in the store were not wearing a mask nor were they practiceing social distancing. The Store was clean, the staff was polite and shelves were stocked. Some items in the store we felt were a bit overpriced especially in the bakery section. Over all it was nice to go check it out but not worth the drive for us to go back.
Nice store, just a little tricky to get to it.
Great store with lots of usable products at reasonable and most times cheap prices. A grocery store that was much needed for the La Vista Park neighborhood and beyond.
Pretty cool place. Very good prices on items compared to Kroger, Publix.. Pasta noodles, ramen, pancake mix, syrup.. They have their own line of brands too.
I actually drive a little to get to this store, hence 4 out of 5 stars. Its a Aldis type of store, same basic concept it seems, except no shopping cart use for a quarter, theyre free here. I know they are owned by the same company. Lots of varieties and the prices seem lower than Walmart. Nice clean store and great customer service. Huge selection of sweets, organic produce and vegetarian(vegan) products. I cant wait to get one in my neighborhood.
Great prices, no frills ... nice place to shop. Their baked goods are delicious!
Poor customer service.. You ask the cashier questions and they point in the direction you should go. CRICKETS!! The store is in great condition, but customer service👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
I in joy the store very much it was clean well stop very nice people very helpful people I know Ill be going back real soon
Bright clean store With lots of selection. Fresh veggies, great produce and meat. Delicious items in the bakery, great selection of organic products, helpful employees, good prices
I have been going to this store since it opened but recently there are no wipes, hand sanitizer etc at the front. I hope this is not an indication of the overall cleanliness of the store. They do have some items I really like but always end up going to Publix for items I cant find at Lidl.
Hands down the best prices and selection on groceries!
My family hails from Spain and this supermarket is just like the ones at home. Amazing prices, locally sourced produce, and imported European products that I thought I couldn’t get in the USA (different charcuterie, olives, fresh bakery bread)
Super reasonable prices. Brings a tonnes of options for international chocolates and some good variety Italian and other European products. They keep rotating international groceries. The store is very clean (coz its brand new). They run lot of promotions on various items. You have to bring your own bags or buy reusable bags or paper bags which are not expensive. There is plenty of free parking around.
Much smaller than typical Lidl stores. Its tiny, but it has the essentials for the most part. The main downside for this store is total lack of space or tables to use for bagging your groceries. Theres nothing. And everybody is impatient in the lines so they will shove you and your stuff right out of the way. The store always has closed registers and far too many shopping carts in the lobby, so theres floorspace being wasted. But theyve got zero space for bagging. It makes no sense.
They were really good when they opened few months back. For the the last few visits however, we have seen empty shelves and items missing altogether. For a small store like Lidl, if you don’t stock up quickly, it becomes difficult for us to go there and not get our groceries list completed. I would stick to Kroger/Publix, as I have to go there eventually anyways.
Lidl is hit or miss. Sometimes excellent offerings other times picked over. They really dont get anywhere close to having adequate stock in the special buys. Good stuff but I still overwhelmingly prefer Aldis.
Amazing variety and prices. Unique items.
The grocery prices are great but for some reason the fresh produce doesnt stay fresh for as long as youd expect. Will not be buying avocados or greens from them any time soon
Lidl is a great little grocery store and so convenient to get in and out.
I love this store! It’s like Aldi’s cool big sister. The avocados here are always big and cheaper than most competitors like Walmart and Kroger. Their bakery is great - we love their pretzel buns and baguettes. Happy they put this in so close to home.
Quality of the product & price reasonable.
If you like aldi, you’ll love lidl! Similar concept with similar brands and items, but it’s a fun new twist and has a wider selection.
I like this store, I can always find some of the best abnormal stuff for care packages here.
First time visit. Great selection, great help from employees helping me find a couple of things and super nice cashier
Good meat and cheese selection, cool bakery. People were nice but not too helpful. Awkward when i didnt have bags and didnt know i needed
Very disappointed... Out stock is cheese and store looked like a tornado just hit it
I forgot to bring bags as it was my first time in the store and didnt know what to expect. All $100 worth of food stuff in my trunk in the blazing heat... Should have done some research first I guess. Over all store reminded me of Aldi, but cleaner and smell new.. The staff was somewhat friendly 1 or 2 and they were out of butter milk so that made me give them a 3. Last but not least not sure if they wipe down those carts..: Just saying!!
My first time & loved it! I didnt know about the no bags thing.
Unbelievable the prices, poor Aldis is going out of business soon.
This is a good place for some bargains, but not everything is a deal. It is not a complete supermarket, as all the meat and seafood are prepared off premises, like Aldi and Trader Joes.
Good selection of organic fresh produce, flowers and quality meats!
Quick and easy. Store was clean and well stocked.
I dont usually write negative comments but this Lidl was a huge disappointment. Unopened food and pershipable boxes in aisles. Displays poorly done. And the one cashier was very rude and had no tolerance. I base this negative comment because I normally shop at the Lidl store in Mableton, Georgia. The Mableton Lidl store is well organized, clean and the cashiers are very friendly. I wanted to see how the North Druid Hills Lidl store was operated. What a huge disappointment. I will never shop at this store again and once again say the Mableton Lidl store is a breath of fresh air and a very enjoyable shopping experience!
Cheap, friendly, $5 & $10 off offers via app, quick.
It was closed because an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
I went there upon opening for the Pastel De nata(Portuguese dessert) and ended up becoming a very frequent shopper. If you have/like European mentality, this is your place. Great European wine and chocolate selection while bakery items are so fresh and good.I could rank LIDL experience is somewhere between ALDIs and Trader Joes. LOVE IT! Quality meets affordability = LIDL
Nice grocery store with great prices.
