The attention to detail and creativity on the tile work in the marble shower resulted in a look that far exceeded my expectations. The team took precautions such as masks in the new covid world. I felt secure both when wfh and when I had to leave the team alone while I was at work. Every day they cleaned up and left my place orderly. I would work with 1st Choice again in a heartbeat. I could absolutely not be more excited about the work Dell and Juan and team did on my house if I tried. I had some pretty high hopes about what my kitchen and flex room / total laundry room construction would look like at the end, but when I say I was blown away by the result, that is the understatement of the year. Not only did they take my vision, run with it and enhance it in so many ways, they let me take my time and worked through decisions I wanted to make with me. They did new floors, cabinets, brand new island, countertops, flooring everywhere - but the most challenging was building a wall where plumbing could go through so I could have a laundry room. We are extremely happy with our bathroom remodel. First, its important to mention I sourced quotes from no less than a dozen companies. We chose 1st Choice because they were the only company that would only charge for labor - I was particular with my supplies and really wanted to buy them separately. I was surprised how many companies would only use products they bought, at a ridiculous markup! Needless to say, they were priced the best AND I was using my materials.Our bathroom remodel finished in just four business days (two days ahead of schedule - when does that every happen?) We had daily check-ins with the owner - discussing what was done, what the timeline was looking like, if there were issues (yay for previous homeowners doing stupid things and taking shortcuts!) and what all possible options for fixes would be. I felt very much a part of the process. No decision was made without my approval.The crew was wonderful - cleaning up after themselves every day, including mopping my hallway. They were polite and respectful, sweet with my baby and dogs and just all around hard workers (hence an early finish).Ill let the work speak for itself - its really beautiful. Bottom line - you wont regret working with Dell and his team.

Our project manger Juan treated our house as his own during his many months at our project. As an Interior Designer I am not the easiest client. I looked at every detail with an exacting eye and Dell and his team never let me down. 1st Choice Remodel just completed a basement renovation for us. We have been extremely pleased with this company from start to finish. The project finished in the timeline we were given. When the crew started to get behind they even worked weekends to catch up. One of the best parts of the entire remodel was some suggestions Dell made to our existing plans. His suggestions of moving a closet and making it a walk in and using a glass door on our office were spot on. They were minor details that we had not thought of that greatly increased our satisfaction for the final outcome. We have a future kitchen remodel in our sights as well and 1st Choice Remodel will be our first call.

TRAVIS STRICKLAND reps for 1st Choice. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. My hardwood floors did not adhere to the foundation. The pouring of the foundation leveling agent was done under adverse conditions (per Home Depot & the product manufacturer) & had to be re-done. After the 2nd installation of the hardwood planks, there are again look planks. Also, the finishing touches of installing the threshold pieces and re-install MORE lose planks has yet to be done. The re-installation has been over 6 months & not finished yet. Mr. Strickland does not respond to the general contractor. Both m contractor & sub Mr. Strickland/1st Choice were paid by my insurer. Not only is this a work product terrible but it appears fraud has been committed. Do not use them.

We had 1st Choice do a lot of work in a home we bought, including new hardwood floors, tile work, and a brand new master bathroom, and the work was excellent -- professional, high quality and on time. Cant say enough positives about 1st Choice Remodel ATL. Just finished up our second project. The first was in an unoccupied rental we got ready to sell (and the remodel / upgrades led to full list offer the first day). This one was in our home - with the five of us and two dogs - all peacefully coexisting during the project which finished ahead of schedule and on budget. Dell is a terrific project manager (who put in the time to help us make important design choices along the way) with a great crew. The guys worked in an organized and clean fashion - the last day of work when I got home I was amazed at what a great job they did on the clean up side. Working neatly and cleaning as they go is very important for us and these guys hit the mark for sure. The sequence of work (demolition ... installation) was very carefully thought out and carried out (thanks again Dell!) so that the project moved along swiftly and efficiently while minimizing the impact on our every day routines. And the end result looks great, great attention to detail, we love our updated kitchen counters & backsplash and completely redone second full bath. Definitely recommend!!

I used 1st Choice to repaint the interior of my house and the two most important things to me were timing and value for money. I needed it done in a tight window and they executed the work on time despite numerous changes to the content of the work I originally requested. My schedule was accommodated, including working on my project while I was traveling.

Dealing with a remodel, and contractors in general, is a pain. Having said that, Dell and Juan were amazing! Id welcome Juan back to do work on my home anytime. 1st choice painted several rooms in our home, and did a great job. They moved and covered all our furniture, finished everything in one day, and moved everything back where it was. My only issue is that they attempted to vacuum way before the crew was done going in and out and up and down our stairs. When they left, I spent a lot of time cleaning up the floors. But the paint job was great, and we are planning to do additional work with them very soon!

They helped me pick out the new colors to go along with my spa like feel and completed all the work in record time. They have the nicest workers. I would actually rate 4.5 stars but decided to round up. 1st Choice Remodel took care of remodeling my kitchen and a few other small items after some water damage. Dell was very helpful through the process answering lots of my questions and making suggestions on materials. His team did a great job with the kitchen counter tops and cabinets. My only complaint would be it was supposed to take 2 weeks, but after a few delays ended up taking double the amount of time. My wife and I have used Dell and his team for several home renovation projects including a kitchen floor replacement, a master bathroom remodel, and a jack and jill bathroom remodel. Dell is professional, on time, and provides great input during the renovation process when requested (without pushing his own ideas onto you). Once his team shows up to do the work, we have found them to be mindful of our home (always laying down drapes, sweeping/moping, dusting, etc. when done), mindful of our family, on time, and hard working. They are the first team weve had do projects for us where they actually work a full day! The work is well done, and they have worked with us to make slight modifications to our initial plan along the way if necessary. If a mistake is made, Dell works with the team to ensure that its fixed, and fixed right, which says a lot in this field. Dell and his team painted our home and completed our kitchen remodel. Dell helped us narrow the scope of our project to upgrades that would add value to the home and did a wonderful job on the project.

First I want to say as an owner of 2 homes and a first time landlord, 1st Choice Remodel got me through my design and renovation jitters and made the process as smooth as possible. Even though I don’t live in Atlanta (but I’m down there a lot to visit family), I was able to come in contact with them through friends and family.They offered to do design suggestions via FaceTime, email and text for both of my homes. They helped with recommendations on selections, such as paint, material and even converting a closet to a pantry for my kitchen!! They gave me recommended price quotes that I should be getting in my particular market. They checked in on my contractors remotely to make sure the work I wanted was getting done correctly. They helped me make sure I was asking for the right things. They even helped design a timeline to make sure the work got done in a particular order. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out and how they got me through this process. I am still in awe they helped me from afar. I was able to get a tenant to sign a 2-year lease on her first visit to the rental property. I feel confident I can use what I learned from them on my next property and call them when I need them. Thank you guys for all of your help!! Hope you become even more successful in Atlanta and other locations. I’d hire you in a heartbeat to come here and actually do the renovations!! Maybe one day lol.

We have worked with 1st Choice two times and both were outstanding. The first was to paint the interior and the second was to remodel an attic space. Both times, Dell and team were courteous, knowledgeable and performed great work. We will be contacting them again for future projects.

We hired 1st Choice to do our kitchen remodel project and they did an excellent job. I used 1st Choice Remodel ATL for a number of fixes around my townhouse and the service and results were outstanding. Dell and his team were able to patch a hole in the my upstairs deck and refurnish the rest of it without me ever asking (it looked better than before). They were able to plaster and paint over water leaks and stains in my office and kitchen ceilings. They even brought with them the matching paint and primer. They were able to get on my roof and identify and patch three holes in the shingles and a leaky roof boot. It was a pleasure working with Dell and his team and I plan to use 1st Choice Remodel ATL again. I would highly recommend them.

Really disappointed in my experience with 1st Choice Remodeling. No one showed up for my first estimate and when I called to inquire, the representative said my appointment had never been added to the schedule, even though the appointment was confirmed to me via phone. I was asked to schedule a second appointment, which created a weeks delay. A representative called to cancel my second appointment just a few hours before the appointment and I was asked to schedule a third appointment.After receiving my estimate from Dell, I responded via email (as instructed) to inquire about adjusting two items. Per Fairrahs request, I provided times when I was available to speak via phone, but I received no email response or phone call. After a few days, I again emailed Fairrah asking when to expect a phone call and was given a date. No one ever called.While my master bath remodel is a smaller project (just over $12,000 estimate), I would expect to receive better service from a company that came with glowing reviews. Its frustrating that I wasted so much time trying to work with a company that did not value my project.

I had a great experience with 1st Choice Remodel ATL. A tree fell on my house and they made the repairs in a timely fashion. I will use them for future jobs and highly recommend them.

My husband and I recently finished a remodel with 1st Choice Remodel ATL and couldnt have had a better experience. 1st Choice did a complete renovation of our kitchen, living room, and playroom in our basement. We were on a VERY tight timeline with a baby on the way! They completely gutted the kitchen, moved plumbing and electrical, installed hardwoods, took down walls, put up a new wall, created beautiful arched openings between our kitchen and living room, painted, installed appliances, and so much more. Dell and the team went above and beyond to make sure our project was finished on time. The crew assigned to our project showed up early and left late each day. As a stay at home mom, I had the privilege of seeing how much work they actually were doing during the day...I truly was amazed at the efficiency and quality of their work. They also were very respectful of the fact that we were living at home through this renovation. For example, they moved our refrigerator to a location we could still use during the reno, they put up plastic tarps in doorways to contain excess dust, and they entered/exited through a side door so as not to disturb us and track dirt through the rest of our home. They even showed up on a snow day when the rest of the city was shut down! Our crew was led by Juan-- one of the hardest working individuals I have met. Each morning he would give me a run down of what they would be working on that day. I felt comfortable asking him questions and making suggestions. He was very patient with me as I made requests to adjust the height of sconces, move light switches, re-do plumbing to add a potfiller over the range, etc. I would make a request, and he would make it happen! And of course, I am so thankful to Dell for making this project come together. Before, during, and after the project he was very accessible to any question or concern we might have had. He was a clear communicator and checked in often to ensure the work was done well and on time. He sincerely wanted to make sure that we were satisfied customers that had a quality renovation after all was said and done. I cant speak highly enough of this company and the work they did in our home! Our kitchen, living room, and playroom are absolutely stunning. Without a doubt I would recommend this company 100%. 1st Choice Remodel (FCR) did an amazing job on my attic renovation. We bought the house and moved in 5 weeks later, and didnt contract FCR until a week in. With less than a month to comp,lete, he got everything done with a few days to spare. It wasnt an easy remodel either, he lifted the HVAC higher into the attic (8+ up), added a half bath bathroom, and changed the framing of our attic to make it more of a loft and spacious.Ultimately, it was gorgeous! My family owns a commercial construction company, and they are all impressed with how well done and professional it looks. FCR didnt skimp on any materials, and the hardwood/bathroom look great. If I ever get another renovation in ATL, Im only going with FCR as its hard to find good contractors. Thank you again FCR!
