Really nice shop I took a body butter course really enjoyed my self. Could only give 4 stars because I was supposed to get an email with recipes never received the information even after reaching out a bit disapointed.

This is the first spot I found in Atlanta to get local gifts or items for around the house. They have a nice selection of products that changes from time to time so always worth a stop when youre in the area.

I love love love the Beehive. Great place for unique gifts with the benefit of supporting local artists. And the Beehive also gives back to the community. I recently rescued a dumped puppy with Parvo. The vet bills were huge. We received a very sizable donation from the Beehive. I’ve always shopped there but the Beehive now has a customer for life!

This place is a GEM! Some items are a little pricey but the stuff in here is NICE (and I have caught sales a few times). We need more of these stores in Atlanta! Love this place

This is one of my favorite stores. All of the items sold are made by artists (many of them local) and you have the chance of meeting an artist on any given day because they are the employees as well. Such a great atmosphere and a great place to get a gift for someone or to spoil yourself with something.

The manager has a wonderful personality, the owner is super sweet and then finding out the designers also work in the store shows they truly invest in themselves. I did a metal stamping class here and it was amazing! It was just what I needed. The teacher was very friendly and answered every question I had. Nice pace and I even walked out with a couple of finishing pieces that I wore. This is the first of many classes I hope to do here @ the beehive. I HIGHLY recommend!

The beehive is a great boutique with beautiful, quality products from local artisans. They also have amazing classes! In only 2 sewing classes I went from living in total fear of a sewing machine to making a dress from a pattern! Brooke is such a great teacher - really patient, accessible, flexible and fun - what a great time!

I like that you can easily run into the person who made your favorite soap or pair of earrings...or pie. Classes are fun. Getting to support local artists anytime of year is awesome. I have shopped here more than 3 dozen times, taken more than four classes. Ive bought large canvas art from Tim Boyd to earrings from June Shin. I have a purse and wallet from one artist. You have to go to Beehive.

Best place in ATL to buy gifts AND support local artists. The staff is always friendly and fun. We love the jewelry, cards, magnets and seasonings - all locally made. Theres no reason to shop anywhere else for hostess gifts, baby gifts or a little something special for yourself on a bad (or good) day. Nice work, BEEHIVE.

I took a beginning sewing class yesterday with Brooke. It was informative, the teacher inspiring, and a whole lot of fun. We went from a basic overview of our machines (we were encouraged to bring our own) and went from winding a bobbin to making a pincushion pillow all in two hours. If youre wanting to learn how to sew or improve your existing skills, the classes at The Beehive will be very helpful and worth your while.

Great place for wife gifts. You can walk into this place, close your eyes and reach for something in the dark. The first thing you touch will basically be a nice gift for your wife. Its pretty low effort.Sometimes you can run into the occasionally over priced home made jewelry there but the ladies love that stuff. Gotta Smushed penny they made into an earring? YEAH BOY your wife will love it. Beehive doesnt disappoint.

Paid for a candlemaking class for Saturday the 16th from 10am-12pm. Made it there 5 minutes before. Ten o clock rolls around and no one is there. Another 19 minutes rolls by and still no one came. So Im waiting til 11am which is what time it says the store opens. Finally 11am store opens and Im asking the young lady about the class that I paid to take and she didnt know. She called the manager and the manager said she emailed everyone. Well obviously I didnt receive an email otherwise I would have been home instead of outside in the hot sun waiting to take a class that had been rescheduled. No apologies. The young lady took my email and I was told I would receive an email about the class change but I never received an email. I had to call back on Monday and she was very nonchalant, still no apologies so I just asked for a refund from her class.UPDATE:Received a very nice email from the owner apologizing/explaining. I also found out that the email regarding schedule change went to my spam folder. So I am updating the rating based on my interaction with her. Also I will try again to take the workshops.

The Beehive is one of the reasons I enjoy this city. A collection of wonderfully talented small businesses under one roof selling unique items year-round. Everything from jewelry to prints to jams to dog biscuits. If you are looking for a gift, check it out.In fact, this is where I went when I was trying to put together a goodie bag of items that represented Atlanta when visiting friends in Amsterdam. I walked away with a box full of handmade/crafted items ranging from soap to jam and it was nice to say it was all made locally.Their bi-annual Warehouse Sale is my favorite time to visit. Most of the items are on sale and you can peruse for hours looking at all the great finds.They also hold crafting classes (jewelry, knitting/crocheting, body stuff, etc).The place is usually estrogen central but you may see a guy every now and then. Hes usually been brought there. There are a handful of crafted items for men. What I saw last time - bear/mustache grooming items, t-shirts and a company that made specialty cufflinks.The only thing that sucks about going to The Beehive, to no fault of their own, is the horribly designed clusterf*ck that is the Edgewood Shopping District. Real life mouse trap.
