I wanted a custom piece of jewelry designed and someone connected me to this boutique jewelry store in the heart of Buckhead. Because I only had a general idea of what I wanted, I left a lot of the design elements to the master gemologist, Ken. I selected my metal, told him I wanted at least 1 diamond, and that it needed to include my initials. We settled on a ring and he was able to create the perfect custom ring for me! I wear it daily and cant wait to purchase a necklace and earrings to match.

I contacted Ken during quarantine to have my fiancé engagement ring made. The whole experience was excellent. We stayed in touch through text, he sent updates and pictures regularly and the ring turned out amazing! He mailed it to me overnight when it was completed and my Fiancé loves it. Truely disappointed with my experience with this company. My fiancé and I had an appointment @12 PM today and when we arrived to the showroom it was completely empty, lights off, door locked, and not a soul in sight. We dialed the number the company has listed and spoke to a woman that was at another location. I told her the scenario and she asked when our appointment was, who it was with and my name. We were put on hold while she tried to get in touch with the person we had the appointment with. Once she got back on the line she informed us she wasn’t able to get in touch with him and that she could take my number and have him call us and let us know when he would be there. I asked her how long we were supposed to wait there and she said she wasn’t sure and that she would take my number and give it to him. I gave her my number but my fiancé and I were so frustrated that we decided to leave and go back home. I am truely happy that we did because it’s been almost 3 hours since then and I have yet to receive a call from, Ken Black, who come to find out is the OWNER. We drove 45 minutes for an appointment that was confirmed both via email and text message to find an empty store. What a waste of time! Thankfully, we took our business elsewhere and were able to find beautiful wedding bands for the both of us. Very unprofessional and clearly we will not return.

My wife and I were looking for something special for our 25th wedding anniversary to upgrade from her original 0.66 carat engagement ring. The good news is that she had done her research (for the last 25 years) and was set on an antique Old European Cut (OEC) diamond. The bad news...OEC diamonds are very rare and increasing hard to find.Ken at Atlanta Diamond Company was more than up for the task. He searched the country and was able to locate 3 OEC antique stones which he had shipped into the store for us to view. I was in awe with how breathtakingly gorgeous the studio was.Ken Black took the time to share with me that he trained at the Gemological Institute of America and that he had been in business on prestigious Jewlers Row in Philadelphia for over 15 years. That made me feel comfortable to know that I was dealing with a reputable jeweler with the highest level of certification obtainable, even though they were new to the Atlanta market. They are definately not new to the jewelry business.Ken and Nicole took the time to get to know me and learn exactly what I was looking for. They showed me several pieces and jewel stones with the assurance that they could create the perfect piece for me. He stated to me that My job is not to try to sell you something just because its taking up space in my case. My job is to create a piece for you that will light up your face, every time you look at it!I left there feeling that I now have my very own personal jeweler, right here in my hometown.
