I enjoyed my visit! For years Ive dealt with poor customer service eye care professionals in my area. It was convenient but I sure paid for it EVERY time I visited.Finally a change has come with VEA! I am so glad I didnt have to travel far for great service AND the awesome customer service from the entire team, a doctor that has patience and takes the time to explain my eye health is overwhelming.....I really didnt expect this type of service. Im seriously happy that I chose to visit and Im definitely a repeat customer. For a change, I look forward to my next visit.I love my new glasses!!!Thank you!!!

I LOVE my new glasses! The staff were so kind and helpful and the doc was super friendly! They helped me get out of my comfort zone (I usually go for thick black square glasses) and choose something more vibrant and youthful. I have gotten non-stop compliments on my new frames. Thanks VEA!

Dr. Williams and his staff run an efficient and thorough eye center. Unlike some practices where you spend 30 minutes to an hour waiting to see the doctor, I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be seen.Even more, I require a specialty contact and am a hard fit. Dr. Williams actually seemed excited to take me as a patient. Hes serious about his craft – making the most minor of tweaks to my lenses to ensure the best vision possible and a great fit.I highly recommend VEA.

Im always hesitant to have my eyes dilated but the doctor explained the process and they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs. When it came to choosing my frames they have a wide selection of fashion forward frames at a reasonable price. I was set on purchasing black frames BUT the technician helped me pick a beautiful cognac color that compliments my skin well. I actually ended up purchasing two different colors because their was so much to choose from. I definitely recommend VEA Eye Health professionals.

The staff was pleasant and professional. Everyone had on masks (big Plus). The doctor was personable too. I ended up getting contacts AND new frames; which look awesome. This was my second time using VEA for eye care. I go to the eye doctor every two years. Service was responsive and personable. The exam is not expensive, but I do find their eye glasses more on the expensive side. But, their glasses are simply beautiful and unique! You will not find duplicates of these frames which explains the price punch. I use a healthcare FSA, so I always put extra money on the card when it is time to visit the eye doctor. Thank you VEA for impressive service and beautiful eye wear. I will see you again in about 24 months.

I was in awe when I first walked in. The office was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. I was so excited to meet Dr. Williams because I heard so many good things about him. After my consultation, I have so much more relief now knowing whats going on with my eyes. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and a real COOL doctor. It is so nice to know now I have a black optometrist down the street from my house. I will surely be coming back for my yearly eye exam here, and no where else. :)

After my exam, one of the staff members had already selected several frames that she thought I would like--I loved this touch. I always ask for help in selecting frames. I did not even go to the wall because one of the selected frames was perfect. This doctors office is modern, efficient, has a great selection of frames, and it’s topped off with great customer service. the doctor has great “bedside”manner, makes you comfortable, and is to the point and upfront with everything. 50 stars..Parking is iffy as it’s street parking so I’d recommend arriving 15 minutes early to find parking depending on the time of your appointment.

I found VEA Eye Health Professionals through Google after reading reviews. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. Dr. Williams is very knowledgeable with a good bedside manner. He informs you of everything he is doing. His staff is friendly, and knowledgeable as well. I also like the fact that it is a local business with a trendy art gallery vibe. He was also working on the floor with his staff…yes Teamwork! I received my glasses in less than a week…I love them! VEA Eye Health did not disappoint. Exceptional service!

My experience was not so great to say the least. This office does not provide your PD along with a copy of your eye exam. I wish I had known before swiping my card for glasses. Requested a refund after learning of this rule. After requesting a refund the office has still not provided me an accurate receipt for my records. The receipt only shows a refund for frames and not lenses and other fees. I had to contact the claims Dept to ensure they don’t attempt to overcharge my insurance company the way that they tried to overcharge me for eye classes. Love to try and support local businesses but these are RULES that will keep me from being in support. Complete waste of my time....

Extremely friendly. They were able to schedule me and my partner the next day for an appointment. Frames were slightly expensive, but they were great quality (if frame price is an issue I would encourage getting your prescription and ordering frame online). Would strongly recommend them to anyone.

I had an eye infection from contacts and they were able to see me the next day when my usual eye doctor told me it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The doctor was great he explained everything thoroughly. I didnt feel like they were just trying to get me in and out quickly like some other places so I will make them my permanent eye care provider.

Very nice and laid back but professional. I did not wait long to be seen by the doctor and when I did see him, he handled me with care. My eyes are sensitive to light and watered a lot, he was patient. Glaucoma is hereditary and my PC advised me to get my eyes checked yearly and keep records to compare results. I asked for them, and received them without any problems. God forbid anything happens with my eyes and I will at least have an exam to reference for my level of vision. I really like my frames and they are more of a higher end. ☝🏾They do not have Walmart, Americas Best, BJs type of frames. Which I can understand budget but I prefer for my glasses to last and not feel flimsy. My frames feel sturdy, comfortable, and everyone loves them on me. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I want to give the glasses time to get a little wear on them and see how they are holding up. I will update to 5 if they hold up well. Great choice of an Eye Center.

The initial experience of making an appointment, meeting the physician, having the exam and ordering my glasses was a good one. The cost was lovely due to the insurance that I have. It did not go so smoothly when I went to pick them up. The young lady that works there called and informed that the glasses had arrived and then she and I made an appointment for me to pick them up. When I arrived the next day to pick up my glasses, the guy that works there was a little dry, almost like he had an attitude because he assumed I just walked in when in fact I had made an appointment with the lady the day before. Once he found out that I actually did have an appointment then his attitude changed a little but not much. Maybe he is just not a morning person who knows but that certainly did rub me the wrong way. Then when I asked him for a copy of the prescription (which is one of the main reasons why I went there to begin with), he told me that declined citing that the doctor needed to sign off on the prescription before he could send it BUT he DID ask me to complete a survey. I am a postal worker and I work A LOT of hours. Today is the first day that I have had free time to address the survey so overall the experience was a good one!

The front office staff at VEA Eye Health are professional, courteous and take the time to address your needs. I found this practice through my daughters insurance and took a chance on them. It was a chance well worth it. Dr. Williams did a very thorough eye exam for my daughter (now 10) and for me as well. He was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner.Their glasses inventory is a bit small, but has some great options. Some are pricey, but not not higher than some other small boutiques similar to their size in the city.Glad I found them!

Outstanding customer care and very thorough exam. i love finding great local places. even better are shops in my neighborhood with great service. i cant recommend VEA highly enough.

VEA eye is a very poor and unprofessional establishment. To begin with, I had to wait over 40 mins after my appointment time because they had problems verifying my insurance, if you value your time stay away from VEA. This is not the worst of it however, after my exam with Dr Williams, I was asked to pay $100 for an exam I know was covered by my insurance. After i refused to pay, Dr Williams asked that I remove the trial pair of contacts I had on and throw them away. This, by itself, is incredibly unprofessional but to add on to it, after I removed them he accused me of lying and asked to examine my eye. On another day I might have exploded and called him a four letter word, but I agreed and he checked them and was wrong, of course. Vea just wants your money and could not care less about your health. STAY AWAY if you value your time, money, and dignity. Pathetic place of business and a Doctor with ZERO class.

Revised:Vea veiwed my review and immediately gave me call to make right anything I thought was wrong and to explain to me the information giving to my husband. AgainI choose Vea based on the 4 star marking. The front office staff was very courtesy. And after visit with the Doctor the staff was only following the lead of their supervisor.. As a consumer in these hard times I am always looking for a way to save. I was able to bring in my frames and have the lenses put in by Vea. The front staff worked along side me so that I could get the best price with the lenses. NOW My husband visit came off a little bit more difficult because one eye is way worst than the other but I knew I should have went on appt with him🤦. My husband never ask the right questions if he ask questions at all nor do he relay information back to me right thats all his dr appts urgh😑.... However we purchased these expensive $500 glasses because of the bad eye from Lenses crafters my husband tried wearing them but they made him very dizzy. We took them back several times but they insisted that the prescription was correct and he just needed to get use to them with no other options. After Doctor Williams examination he immediately said they gave him the wrong prescription in his glasses. Doctor William gave us several options to correct his vision and with a price to fit our budget. My husband thought he would not drive at night again but Doc Williams examination gave him hope that he will be able.Pleased to say we finally found our eye doctor.Happy Chambers Family

I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old so I am pretty accustomed to the usual in and out click through lenses in 10 minutes vision exam experience. Coming to VEA exceeded my expectations in providing the most thorough eye exam I have had in my adult life. Dr. Williams asked me critical questions about my vision and took the extra time to actually explain his recommendations and things I did not understand. The staff at VEA is truly passionate about eye health and it shows in the extra time they are willing to take with their patients.

They are rude and disorganized. Everybody says different things. They charge you for a lot of things and can’t tell you what you paying for. Even the doctor and office manager don’t know how to handle customers. I knew it always a cover up for these businesses all they ever want is money money money and money. They don’t treat their customers right nor do they follow directions. I been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade and this has to be my worst experience and worst eye doctor place I have dealt with. Please do not bring your money to this company you will be disappointed like me .
