I love the guy thats there. Hes very professional and knows his job. Hes always friendly and helpful.

A lot of the other complaints are very accurate. The doctors working there are very nice and competent, however there are so many mishaps that have happened in the few times I went there. Once, their appointment system didnt work well and I went there when the doctor was out of town. Now Im waiting for them to send me my prescription online which they cant do because their email is down?! Their email is down and they dont know when it will work again. Staff doesnt really care, sometimes they are ok sometimes they are rude. Not sure if theyre underpaid or what, Im just sick of basic things not working and them not doing any extra effort to fix it. Not coming back here.

They have great choices. The employees there are great will be going back.

Great experience. Dr. Sims was thorough but still completed my exam quickly. The two ladies up front helped me pick out frames that suited me (have gotten several compliments). Best of all, I had my new glasses in 8 business days, and the Progressive lenses were perfect.

Dr. Sims was excellent and Daphne and the rest of the Target Optical staff were super friendly and helpful. Even with all the pandemic restrictions, they were super conscious of following sanitization and social distancing measures. Even with a busy Friday afternoon, Dr. Calvin was so friendly and was so patient and helpful explaining what was going on with my eyes. I’m really lucky to have chosen this location!!

I have had the worst experience using this Target Optical. If you are thinking of using this place, DO NOT! Save your time and energy with these incompetent people.The older lady at the front has been nothing short of rude and condescending over multiple communications and especially when I was trying to schedule my first eye exam. When I was there for contacts she said I couldn’t do the fitting because I whipped down the surface of the sink And counter top (mind you covid and I’m about to stick contacts in my eyes!) saying in a frustrated voice how the whips I used weren’t for that and how they had a shortage. But literally they were right there next to the counter? After I apologized because what else was I supposed to do? She let me go through with it..When I finally ordered with a different lady over the phone no called to let me know the card number she enter was wrong so a few weeks went by and, no contacts showed up.. so I called and the older lady said “my card declined.. then goes on to say, oh the number entered was invalid.” I’m shorting our conversation but again, this lady was unnecessarily rude and trying to make it seem like I was in the wrong.- the next time I ordered contacts the younger lady helped me again but ordered two boxes of the right eye and none of the left.I am so fed up with the customer service here and the incompetence of these employees to do this job. I will not be coming back to this Target Optical and hope this review saves you time and hassle.

Dr. Sims was very professional and thorough. The staff could be better. I was called the day before my appointment and told that they couldnt find my insurance. Only to find out that they entered the wrong name in the system. Attempted to feign ignorance regarding the special deal for my glasses due to partnership with eye insurance. I called to ask where my glasses were as they are suppose to be here in 14 days. I was informed that they would be here today. The day has come and gone. No call from them.

I came into Target Optical because I needed replacement sunglasses lenses. Barbara helped me, and she could not have been more helpful or professional. After she quoted and did the paperwork for my sunglasses, she told me I could get regular glassed for only $100. She UP sold me and Im very happy with my sunglasses and regular glasses. She was great!

Was not able to be seen for my scheduled appointment because staff did not pre-verify my insurance and couldnt do so on the day of because of July 3rd holiday; they didnt call me to indicate there was a problem until leaving a vm an hour before the appointment. My insurance card is emblazoned with the Guardian logo and website URL but the staff was insistent I should have known and input the carrier as avesis when I made the appt on-line. They were unhelpful/apathetic in coming up with a solution and not even a sorry for the inconvenience was offered.Could not be seen by the doctor using my insurance so had to leave and will schedule elsewhere.

Although I dont usually review doctors offices, I want to make an exception this time because my visit with this particular branch of Target Optical has been outstanding. The assistant was incredibly helpful while I waited for my visit and the doctor really took the time to explain his findings instead of just handing off a prescription. Will definitely come back!

Ive worn glasses since elementary school and Ive never had a bad eye doctor. However, my experience with Dr. Sims and his staff was better than I ever expected an eye appointment could be. They are professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. I was back at work within my hour lunch break. On top of that, with insurance and coupons they beat the best online price I found for my contacts. If you need a new eye doctor then search no further - it doesnt get better than this.

Doctor Calvin Sims is so professional and knowledgeable. And for my first time since I have had concerns/complications with my eyes can I say I have felt confident my prescription was accurate. Dr. Calvin Sims took his time to educate me and give me a better understanding of whats going on. I did not feel rushed at all. My experience with prior doctors offices are incomparable to the exceptional care I received today. I will be visiting in the future.

Easy, fast, and affordable. These guys have the newest and most effective examination equipment. Dr. Sims took plenty of time to understand my needs and go over various options for contact lenses.

First visit very smooth, price was good. Before long, frame was broken and sent in for repair. Now, have waited 2 weeks and expecting at least another 1 week, I am confused about their promise to fix it in 1 week and need to figure out how to travel out of state without it.

It has been over two months and I still do not have a trial pair of contacts that had to be ordered for me. No one bothers to call to tell me what is going on and the phone has a busy signal every time I call.
