She made my whole visit a wonderful experience.The selection of frames and designers is also great. But it’s not an overwhelming or pushy sales environment.Brayale was kind enough to take me through the designer frames and help me find a few pair to complement my face and lifestyle.I absolutely love this location and their team.

I took my 5 year old son in to pick out and get fitted for his first pair of eyeglasses ever. “Wex” was fantastic at making my son feel comfortable, giving us all the information we needed, and even made the experience fun. The location itself was very spacious, clean, and not crowded which made us feel comfortable during Covid times.

He reached far and beyond the call of duty to ensure me and my family were taken care of based on the service we requested. Guys dedication to his customers and job seems effortless but I believe he gave us every bit of himself ensuring the glasses we were concerned about were managed with knowledge, care and thoughtfulness with every step he took on our behalf. I have been visiting the LensCrafters at North Druid Hills for over 4 years now. The staff here is always so helpful and kind. Most recently, Tanya helped me find a fantastic pair of frames. No one here is ever pushy - just the opposite. I told Tanya I needed a small size frame (small head!) which I find difficult to find at a lot of stores. She found several pairs for me. And they have all types of frames from Burberry and Prada to less expensive brands. I run a business myself and I appreciate the great customer service (thank you Tanya!), selection, quality, etc. Ive tried buying online and Im always disappointed with the fit or the frames dont look the same as in the photo and then I have to package and return them. LensCrafters will fit them for you once theyre ready too. Just an all round great place.

From Jennifer at the front desk, to tech, to Dr, to picking out glasses with Tanya & Wex it was the best, easiest most efficient vision experience. They clearly have a great team and are super knowledgeable. I left my old practice due to slow response and terrible advice. I was skeptical to come to a chain like lens crafters, but it didnt feel like a chain experience. The staff here clearly likes what they do. Keep up the great work!

For about 2 years now, I would get my prescription from Doctor Boxer, and then go elsewhere to get my glasses..normally Warby Parker. I ended up getting vision benefits this year, and Doctor Boxer informed me that the “guys in black” (the lenscrafters associates) would help me understand my new benefits better than any other optical shop, and boy was he right. I left paying significantly less than I though I would, and every associate made this a top notch experience. I gather I will be shopping here from now on.

Another great experience with the people at this location. After on my my lenses popped out Jack put in a work-order to get them replaced. When they were ready Guy let me know I could pick them up. Miss Bray was so nice, she asked me to try them on and wanted to be sure that the fit was right, adjusted them and even warned me against cleaning them with my shirt and recommended a microfiber cloth and mild cleaning solution. Thank you all for your dedication to my satisfaction. This is who I have come back to this location time and time again! 😎

The experience I had at this establishment was great. I went in, filled out my documents, and was sent into my eye exam right after I finished. The staff was also very friendly. Yaacov the individual who was helping me was the best! He’s very well mannered and friendly. He did everything in his ability to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase, and he succeeded.

Great employees and a great selection of frames, ranging from designer brands to Lenscrafters branded frames (something for everyone) The exam was fast but thorough. I used my vision benefits, and also bought a sunglass because they have a really good sale on a second pair. My wife and I were visiting Atlanta and a lens popped out of my Oakley prescription glasses. They are held in with a tricky wire system and I couldnt fix them. Tanya fixed them while I waited and didnt charge us.To top it off, my wife had forgotten her contact lens case and she gave us one. Again, no charge. What a nice gesture.Highly recommend this business.

Update: I ordered contacts and was called when they arrived. I show up on Oct. 4th and they cant find them. I dont like anywhere near them, drive this far for Dr.Boxer, so I asked out of courtesy for my time to ship them. They agreed. They had me to write down (which should be on file🤷🏽‍♀️) my address and as of today,November 15th, I have received nothing and my my money and my insurance money has been stolen. Better Business Bureau here I come.......#igotreceipts((((((((((Dr. Ken BOXER Is Great)))))))))))))Corey, who examines your eye is really nice as well.The receptionist moves VERY slow. She talk a lot and is in everyone elses conversation. She helps others that just walk in when you are in line at the counter because she feels its something she can do quicker but order should matter.I waited 1 hour just to CHECK OUT!This RUINS the entire experience. A routine eye appt shouldnt last 2.5hrs.

Every year for years I receive fantastic service from this location. They do have reps that are rude, I overlook that though because of Jennifer & Dr. Boxer. I specifically need to make you all aware of how professional, courteous, hospitable, and kind that Jennifer Jones is. Every time I visit she has a gift from a patient because she is the definition of what customer service is. She is the example of what you should do when interacting with customers. There are so many locations in ATL that I could go anywhere, I choose to go to this location. I havent had insurance that Lenscrafters accepts in 2 years, I still come. That is because of Jennifer and Dr. Boxer. Please do something for Jennifer. She deserves everything and this office cannot afford to lose her. She is simply amazing and the location, the customers and myself are truly blessed to have her.

I called lens crafter today to follow up on my order. The representative was very impatient and didn’t want to hear why I was calling. She kept putting me on hold saying she has other customers to attend to. I was put on hold 5 times !!!!!After 30 minutes finally when I spoke with her my issue wasn’t resolved as the doctor wasn’t in the office.Please be careful with this branch. I got my prescription changed and wanted to exchange my original order of contacts lens for another brand as per my new prescription. This was within 30 days of placing the order. The first time when I initiated this process the rude lady at the counter told me they charge $20 per box as restocking fee. Today when I called them this lady told me $10 per box. This sounds like they are just making up rules as they wish.Please note in between my visit and this call, I called another branch of lens crafters and they told me you can exchange your contact lenses within 30 days of placing the order.Bad bad bad service !!!! Never coming back to this branch ever again.I will update this review once I see if they rectify this situation.They really need to hire people who know how to handle customer services. This is not how things done.

I have used this location for optical services since as long as I can remember. They have a competent optical department but after-sales support is non-existent for things like glasses adjustment. They will just send you to a for-profit glasses center that makes you pay for small services which used to be offered as courtesies to customers.However, the reason for this low review is I ordered glasses from another provider. I gave permission for them to send my prescription, but despite numerous attempts by the provider to reach out, they never did- unbeknownst to me. I called the provider to check on when I would receive my glasses, and they told me Lenscrafters never sent it over. I called ahead of time and asked for my prescription and PD information so I could pick it up and handle this myself. I had to go in person to get my prescription and PD- and everyone except Jennifer was clueless on what to do. I then had to send over my information directly to the provider myself- almost 2 weeks after the original request.By the way, Jennifer is awesome, and she knows how to get things done.

We were helped by one of the lab technicians, Jack, who was incredibly helpful, patient, kind, and professional. Because we arrived early in the day, I was able to walk away with my new frames and lenses only 15 minutes after we paid. It was even enjoyable! We had to go back to pick up my mothers glasses, but they made it easy and sent her a text when the glasses were ready.We will definitely be back and recommend you use this LensCrafters as well.

I shopped for 2 weeks for my glasses. I was shopping for frames. When I finally got around to shopping for lens (I am self pay) boy was I in for a shock. It is like buying a mattress...everybody has their own language to confuse you and justify their high pricing.Fortunately I found Wex at this LC who is the greatest ever at servicing his customer. He explained everything about the various levels of lens design vs cost and answered all my tedious questions. They had tons of frames to select from so no problem there.I picked up my glasses and sunglasses yesterday and the fit was perfect (I have heavy astigmatism).I am extremely happy and got 2 pairs of glasses at half the cost of the boutique shops...and just as stylish. Had a really not good experience here. Not terrible, but I came in early for my appt, I was the first appt of the day, the staff was sloppy and disorganized, came in late and fell behind schedule right away and rushed me like I was just a $$ that the faster they can get me out of there the more money they can make. I was very pleasant, yet they treated me like a number me at every step of the process, didnt take any questions of mine and just told me what they think I need to know. really unpleasant experience. I am currently at a LensCrafters location at 1220 for a 1215 appointment and when I walked in I was told that I need to reschedule for another date. Upon my arrival to the parking lot, I noticed there is a Chick-fil-A that is in the same parking lot. The line to Chick-fil-A was so long it blocked the entrance to the building causing me to be 5 mins late. It’s more than sad and disgusting that 5 mins of being late results in me having to be rescheduled. The receptionist at the counter were MORE than rude and said there busy today. She then went to ask Doctor Box if she would still see me and the doctor said yes but if you would like contacts we would need to do that another day...... I did not come here to have two doctor appointments or charges. This is such a poor reflection on your company and to have staff with such poor attitude is mind blowing. Completely thinking that someone owes them something. When I said I would file a complaint they said we don’t work for them we work Dr. Box so you can call them. I will never in my life come to this company again or use Dr.Box

All I will say is make sure you acknowledge customers at the front desk and not just look at them like you don’t want to be there. Even if you cant help them smile and ask them if they need assistance so you can find the right person. I shouldn’t have to stand at the front desk for 10 to 15 mins without one person asking me if I need help. That’s bad service! Nurses wasn’t there so I’m not referring to you but the other people who are there!

If I come back here I will only come back for an eye exam. I had my exam with Dr. Udell. She was nice, I give her 5 stars. My two star rating is based off of the ladies who work the front desk. They were full of compliments and very nice when I came for the exam. I wanted contact lenses and a few of my friends told me what to expect and when I went for my follow up they tried to sell me a year supply of daily disposables. There were 2 boxes each of the 90 day supply. When I told her I could not do the almost $650, I asked for a smaller supply. The desk lady then said that she would have to order my left eye prescription... hold up... there were two boxes each ready immediately for me if I wanted to buy the year supply and why not sell me a smaller contained amount? Then she became unfriendly/ quiet when I questioned it and also the other lady right next to her said “Just give her her prescription.” Dismissing me as in such a different tone from the first appointment. I felt like they were trying to hustle me. I then went home and my friend walked me through ordering my contacts online. Next the contact company called me back and said that the LensCrafters lady left off the brand and type of lenses that I was approved to wear. I called LensCrafters back and told them this was missing and that same woman said “it’s on the forms that I gave you, I am looking at it” I checked and there is NOTHING on it except the -2.0 and -2.5 for my eyes and soft lenses/ contact lenses on top corner. She told me it’s on my prescriptions that she gave me, which is a BOLD FACE LIE. I am pretty sure they did this just because I am not spending $650 with them and did not want me to be able to go elsewhere.Well, I received my contacts from 1800-contacts just fine, were very helpful and much less expensive, gave me what I was looking for unlike LensCrafters.

Absolutely horrible experience. At all 5 interactions with this place they never once do what they say they will do. And many associates are totally unprofessional with bad attitudes. When I first came I had to spend 20 minutes with 2 associates insisting my prescription from my EYE SURGEON was accurate. They finally relented. Then they say is would be ready WED. It was not, Then Sunday. It was not. I arrived on Monday and they came off the assembly line with the sample lenses, They had not even filled it. Then they were suppose to be ready the next Sunday. They were not. They were suppose to call on Sunday with update. It is now WED, no word from anyone. RUN to ANYWHERE ELSE BUT here or you will waste your time for allegedly outstanding lenses with absolutely horrible service. I dont know how they stay in business with this kind of customer NO SERVICE. Awful, awful place!!!

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever had in any shopping experience ever. After waiting two weeks for a pair of glasses to be ready, I had to call three or four times (because i kept being hung up on to see if they were in.)Their frame techs are so incompetent it took several visits of nearly an hour a piece to adjust my frames to fit comfortably - they still dont I just gave up. (During one of these sessions, the tech warped the coating on a lens, and I had to wait two more weeks for the replacements.)No one that works here seems to have any idea what they are doing or even how to politely greet customers.

Went in today to inquire about computer glasses as my job requires me to be in front of a screen all day. Literally stood in the middle of the store for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me at all. One employee didnt even bother to look up from her iphone once while I just stood there looking around, waiting for someone to be helpful. They did my contact Rx incorrectly and did not even size my glasses when I came in to pick up contacts and glasses.When I went back in for a recheck I waited 45 mins for my appointment and finally had to leave. After the holidays I had another doctor at this Lenscrafters redo the Rx correctly and they told me I had to pay for the 90 days worth of contacts again because too much time had gone by.There is no manager on duty, only a part-time office manager who, after interrupting me repeatedly told me they would give me 30 days worth. So after going there 3 TIMES to get a complete eye exam, I am out the $$ for 60 days of contacts, still cant see and they want me to go there for a FIFTH time to pick up the correct contacts. This place is mismanaged and tries to run people through like an assembly line. It was a complete waste of my time and money.

Read the terrible reviews + the one review that said the old staff must be gone, so I decided to go to avoid needing to go to Lenox.First, Ive had glasses for 25 years, so Ive been to way too many eye doctors and glasses stores. This place was really good! Dr. Boxer was really friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. The staff was well dressed, friendly, approached me when I was waiting and had good information. They even navigated my EyeMed insurance for me, which is a pain in the butt. I dont know why there are so many negative reviews, I really found the experience to be quite nice.Glasses were done on time. Doctor was very good. Staff was accommodating. Arrived around 6:15 just to pick up my contacts, where I was rudely greeted by Just so you know, were closed although the sign said open, hours online state they close at 7pm, and I wasnt the only one in there. It was an overall awkward experience that didnt have to be. Its not like I was trying to see the doctor.

I consider location and ratings to direct my business somewhere, so Im hoping this review will be useful for others who feel the same way.Making an appointment is incredibly easy online and they followed-up with an appointment confirmation the next day via phone and e-mail. My appointment was for a routine annual check-up, but I recently moved down to Atlanta from Athens and wasnt familiar with the transition process. All I knew was, Lenscrafters = Lenscrafters? probably? Right? Well, no. Each location is different and can have independent providers. This one is an independent with Dr. Kenneth Boxer and they dont accept BCBS, but will be more than happy to offer you an itemized invoice to send to your insurance.The front staff immediately caters to you upon entry and are SO welcoming, kind, and insanely patient. I really shouldve written down their names, but I believe one of their names is Crystal? Krystal? Im so sorry if Im mistaken, but please know that she and the other front desk staff are so amazing and excellent at their job. Due to my own confusion, I caused them a lot more trouble than needed concerning payment processing and insurance, but they really helped me out by correcting me (nicely! not rude at all) and offering other alternative methods to make things easier for both of us. Their personalities are fantastic and hilarious.It was very obvious they were familiar with the equipment and I didnt feel rushed or uncomfortable. I was brought back in a reasonable amount of time and reassured about the cleanliness of the equipment. Also, I HATE the eye puff machine, but this was the first time Ive ever had someone suggest for me to close my eyes to relax them, then try again. Seriously, customer service is A+. They also have a neat-o machine that allows them to not have to dilate my pupils. Maybe Im just from the stone age, but I like seeing new technology.Dr. Boxer has some SERIOUS bedside manner. He introduced himself and walked me through each part of the exam. He explained things at ELI5 (explain like Im 5) level and was nice enough to find other equipment to better explain my rx to me. Oh, this was also the first time Ive had someone say, or are they basically the same? while doing the lens switching. I always get rushed with that, so I was really impressed.The frame selection was also quite nice. I suppose Ive seen a greater variety available at other locations, but this location had a decent amount that I did successfully choose from. I was advised my rx would be available for pick-up within 7-10 days and would be contacted via text and phone. He immediately assisted me once I walked over and worked quickly and meticulously even though he had another person ready for check-out. I also was not pushed to spend anymore than what I was interested in (seriously, I just want anti-glare and thats it) and was offered different options if I was.Even if my insurance isnt accepted here, I will be more than happy to go through the trouble of filing it with my parents insurance to go here again. The place is clean, the staff is wonderful, and I am happy I went here. I hope this convinces you that not all Lenscrafters are unpleasant. :)

Even funny to deal with .....I had no chance to explain even what my request is about...I had to talk with manager of this store, I was complaining about workers attitude towards to me. ...lady did everything to convince me that Im wrong and I have no manners whatsoever..horrible experience

The doctors are nice, but the front office staff is completely unprofessional! Not only did it take 45 minutes after my appointment to get my prescription and to pay, when one women complained it was taking too long to check out, they mocked her and got mad at her! She had been waiting less time then us! There was really no reason for the wait, expecially considering a few people who came out after us, left almost immediately! It then took them 3 days to order my daughters contacts, which they rudely infomed me take up to 7 working days to get! Please advoid this Lenscrafters unless you want to be treated harshly and wait around!

Poor service plus, mistakes. I went into this location on 11/22.(Saturday) I found what I was looking for but was told the lenses needed to be ordered. The rep told us 3 times the hours on Sunday but never said order lenses would mean waiting until 12/02.(Found this date on the receipt on 12/30) On 12/4 I got 2 messages on my phone 1 the glasses were ready a hour later the lenses were wrong and it will be up to another week. My first thought was why would they not check the glasses before calling and 2 how long did there have them since it was 2 days past the written date I was given. Today 12/12. I called and was told it would be Sunday Before It would be ready when I asked why I was told The order was just placed 12/5. when I advised them It was order 11/22 I was told she would have the order rushed it would be ready today and they would cal me. I called them back 3 hours later and was told there are ready. no call as promised. Then I pick them up the rep Marc wanted to give me the prior incorrect lenses with my Glasses?? After I received my glass he gave me half felt after though apologize. That was it. So I told him of the above and he said He always tells people order lenses take days to 2 weeks. SO he was sure I was wrong in thinking I would only take a week. Since He did not sell me the glasses not sure how he knew what was or was not implied. Bottom line manager finally gave me $50 credit for the hassle.

Customer service here is better than at any other eyewear store I’ve ever been to. The sales rep that helped me (Tyra), the manager, and every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend coming here for your eyewear. The one downside I’ve experienced is the long turnaround time between when I ordered my glasses and received them (though they are very clear and upfront about the expected time until the product arrives).

They screwed up the RX for my replacement glasses, requiring me to return for another eye exam (this time with Dr. Boxer, who was great!). In both cases, original glasses, and replacement lenses (on them) they did not notify me when they were ready.

Rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, slow.It has been over a month and I still dont have contacts or a prescription. Let me tell you why:I liked that LensCrafters could get me in on Saturdays because I have no time to do this during the week. But be warned that you will see a different doctor every time you go on Saturday...and you will have to go multiple times. If you request to see a specific doctor, do not expect to see them. You will show up and be presented with someone else.The inconsistency was confusing for myself and their staff. My contacts are never in stock and they have had to order them every time I come in. Its like they only buy one contact for that one time. So when a trial pair tore and I called back the next day they said they had to order that contact again and they had no idea when it would come in but would call me. (They have never actually called me when the contacts come in.) It takes about two weeks for a trial pair to come in. So you better pray that contact doesnt rip on you or have any problems. Cause it will be another two weeks of waiting without a phone call. When I called to see the status of my trial contact that took two weeks the first person on the phone said it still hadnt even shipped but to call tomorrow because he wasnt 100% sure. Great, thanks. So I call the next day and Jennifer said she couldnt even find that I had a trial pair ordered in the system. So unorganized.The glasses staff who help you find glasses move very slowly and there are not enough employees. The last time I came in (fighting for an appointment to see a doctor) I was shocked at how rude this doctor and one of the office staff were. I guess they dont realize how thin the walls are. But they were talking about me saying I was a difficult and picky patient and laughing right before the doctor walked in the door for my appointment. My contacts were slipping in and out of focus on the second pair of trial lenses they gave me, I guess that makes me picky cause I STILL CANT SEE AND AM STILL WAITING ON A PAIR TO BE SHIPPED TO THEM.After seeing a third doctor for a third visit they put the contacts in my eyes and I couldnt see any of the letters. I told this to the nurse and she said ok and just walked out. Then the doctor came in and said there wasnt much else she could do and to try some eye drops to help the contact fit better. Wow, really? So that is it?The office asked me if I wanted to schedule another appointment and I wasnt sure what to say. Why would I? It takes 2 weeks for trials to come in and the doctor just told me there was nothing else she could do. What else is there to see you people for?That being said, when I saw Dr. Boxer, he was very good. But he is the only doctor I felt good with but unfortunately the office staff doesnt tell you which doctor you are seeing until you come in. And even when I asked them who I was seeing, they ended up telling me the wrong answer. I wish Dr. Boxer would open his own office.If you come here, which I suggest you dont, try to see Dr. Boxer and dont come in on the weekend. Make sure you have plenty of time and nothing scheduled afterwards. You will be here longer than expected.

Dr. Boxer was okay but the staff couldnt cut and insert lenses correctly into a backup pair of eyeglasses I brought. Not only that, without my consent, they donated the old lenses that I had in my spare pair and left me with lenses that I cant wear in that frame. Improper cutting and insertion of lenses resulted in eyeglasses that when worn have double vision (unwearable since youd see 2 sets of images when both eyes are open). They couldnt produce a satisfactory pair of glasses after 3 attempts of putting new lenses into an old frame. Something went wrong every single time.My first visit they added in a visual acuity test not covered by insurance without stating it wasnt covered by insurance. They tell you the prescription is good for 2 years but they dont tell you if you have any problems with the prescription you only had 90 days to get reexamined. Since there was a delay between me getting the prescription and deciding to get the glasses made, I passed that 90 day window so I had to pay $40 for another eye exam after the eyeglass making department told me I wouldnt need to pay for another eye exam after all the inconveniences they put me through when attempting to put the new lenses into my old frame. The production department refused to attempt to put new lenses into the frame after Dr. Boxer said the new prescription would work.Not recommended if you have a high prescription or you are bringing in an old frame to place new lenses in. They ruined my spare pair of glasses and I still had to pay them an extra $40 for a prescription that they refused to use.
