How does not being able to put my own cream and sugar in my own coffee so I can actually drink it the way I like it reduce the risk of spreading covid? I really would like to know the science behind it. Instead let me have some stranger open and touch the sugar packets and everything else cause that’s “safer.” So of course my coffee ended up tasting not the way I like it. Le sigh. Leaving two stars cause the quality of the coffee was actually good just management and staff not so much.

This is one of the best bakeries I’ve been to. I’m French and usually pretty picky about my croissants/baked goods but this place made me feel like I was back in Europe. The prices are very reasonable, the people are very friendly, and it’s an overall enjoyable environment to work/study/chat in a beautiful neighborhood of Atlanta. I usually never leave reviews for anything but this place was amazing. I recommend the chocolate chip cookie and croissant (any of them). Coffee is also very good!!

Really nice place to grab a coffee/tea and a pastry. They typically have a couple of unexpected items in the pastry case. Something made with an alternative flour or just an unexpected flavor combination. Go early if you want to have the full selection of baked goods to choose from because it seems that when they run out of something thats it for the day.

The atmosphere here is quite welcoming. One of the menu items on offer are ENORMOUS croissants. The first time I went to Proof, I was hesitant to purchase one. I was wondering if it would be good as Alons which is consistently excellent. To my surprise, Proofs croissant was excellent. I knew when the opportunity presented itself, I would go back.Today, I did.Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the croissant I ordered. It was everything I feared it might be the first time I went to Proof. Todays croissant had none of the delicate flakiness or buttery taste that was in abundance on my first trip to Proof. It just tasted like a big lump of bread. It was very disappointing.Im certainly not opposed to giving them another try, but it might be a minute before I go back.

I dont know why its taken me forever to write a review for this place. I also dont understand why this place isnt as busy as any of the other popular coffee shops around the Atlanta area. Their food is scrumptious. Their rosemary ham and Gruyere cheese croissants are the best damn ham and cheese croissants Ive ever eaten in Atlanta. I go to this cafe every other week and there is one particular cashier at this place who stands out because he treats everyone the same. This guy welcomes everyone with a kind smile. EVERYONE. This cashier doesnt play favorites and its always a joy to experience some kind of positive customer service experience in the city of Atlanta. I dont remember his name but he has short blond hair and wears glasses. I wanted to give him a shout out for always making my experience pleasant. There are two desserts Ive fallen deeply for: Hazelnut peanut butter pie/tart and the solar eclipse special The moon pie. UGH Please bring the moon pie back! If it doesnt return its not necessarily a bad thing to settle for the hazelnut pie/tart.

Had breakfast here for the first time, two days ago. The lady who took our order seemed to be in a rush. That was a shame, especially considering it was our first time here.I ordered a slice of quiche and a cuppa English Breakfast tea. I dont understand why they ask for you name when place your order. They dont call it. They call each item out, as its ready.I was shocked to see how large of a tea bag and how much tea they use for such a small cup. It was actually comical. That large of a tea bag should only ever be used in a large tea pot! Although I asked for my quiche to be heated up, the carmalized onion and leek quiche was cold and the onions in it were barely cooked (nowhere near carmalized.) I asked for it to be warmed a second time. I ate it even though it was still barely warm. I never in my life thought I would say this about an eatery, but maybe this place should just invest in a microwave? Seconds in one would have heated the quiche up very quickly and properly the first time.We went back to the counter to order a cream puff to go. Thankfully, someone else helped us with that order. He was an extremely friendly and helpful gentleman. Hopefully, IF we ever go back, he will be there.

The raspberry jam dip was a delightful touch. Others also had the Monte Cristo or one of their other sandwiches or salads. Everyone loved it. Lunch was topped off with a selection of 8 of their pastries. When we looked at it we thought there was no way we could eat all that but one taste proved otherwise. Every little crumb was voraciously devoured. I havent had food this good since I was in Europe. Its nice to know I dont have to go to Paris or Munich (except maybe for the beer).
