Love the vibe of this place, the coffee, and the food. But while I was walking around the dog park, I kept seeing pieces of broken glass… after spending 5 minutes picking it up I literally had a handful. For me, the biggest perk of this place is the dog park, so I was a little disappointed that park grounds didn’t maintain this space to make sure it was safe for the dogs they promote coming.

Inside barista (honest and nice guy) immediately panicked when I poked my head inside to ask for some help on getting coffee while holding Winnie. He pointed outside and told me to go put her down. Its right next to my house so I go here a lot. You have to put your mask on if you want to go inside, which is inconvenient but also the businesss right to require. Food was mediocre, coffee tastes just like everywhere else, but what makes this place 100% worth returning to is the dog park. Mac gets to get some energy out and I get some caffeine fueled energy. Would give it 5 stars but.... while the staff is not rude, they are also not very friendly. I dont think I have even seen one of them smile, ever (though it is harder to tell since they are all wearing masks. But you can still kinda tell when someone smiles, even with a mask on.) Theyre courteous. Prompt in preparation of ordered items. You just dont get a welcoming/inviting feeling.

ParkGrounds is a cute little cafe with a little twist: it has a dog park! This is just awesome! You can have your breakfast/snack/lunch/mimosa while you watch some dogs happily playing without a care in the world not worrying about climate change or taxes or inflation or if they should learn how to code... just happy dogs playing while you have your mimosa.A suggestion for management: it would greatly if if your burritos and other foods had a bigger size option. Or a side. That would be a winner for me

I used to be an avid visitor of Park Grounds, but recently the number of aggressive animals is out of control. I watched a woman get bitten by her pit bull (while it tried to attack another dog) to the point where she was bleeding profusely. Staff allowed her to go inside and wash herself off, while allowing her dog to continue to run around off leash, and did not ask the owner to take the dog and leave. I will never take my dog to Park Grounds again because it simply is not safe there. Owners beware.

My Frenchies love Park Grounds but this place is a complete free-for-all. A lot of people dont look after their pets and it doesnt seem like anyone from Park Grounds is ever monitoring the dog park area so what starts as playful can get rowdy and aggressive real quick. Theres a good amount of outdoor seating and the coffee and food are yummy. Most of the dogs are bigger breeds so if your small dog is intimidated easily, this might not be the dog park for you.

Ive been going to Park Grounds since they opened and it feels like home! Ive moved a lot throughout Atlanta over the years, but no where else feel like home like this place does. Even now that I live in East Point, Ill still make the trek here because this place brings me joy. Here you can sit inside and listen to solid music and attempt to finish the CL crossword over a cup of coffee. Or head outside to enjoy a tornado of happy doggos! My favorite food there is the grilled cheese; add pesto and tomato and your life will never be the same! Also, in the fall they make a pumpkin PIE latte. Not that pumpkin spice nonsense, but something that tastes like actual Thanksgiving pie in your mouth. Literally nothing better. They also have my favorite chocolate chip cookies in town that somehow pair perfectly with their coffee. This is a truly special place!

This time I was rudely told I could not come in.If I had read the reviews of this place and how they respond to people I wouldn’t have come in here in the first place and given them any of my money. When you treat people who patronize your business the way that you do, like you’re above them somehow you don’t deserve to be in business. Interesting that you can turn away business and be overtly rude to people during this pandemic. “Good day” and good luck to you. 😂

The BEST spot to bring your dog while enjoying yourself, in Atlanta. Easily one of the city’s hidden gems. This place satisfies anyone trying to have fun, work/study, or relax during the day. Located just off the belt line, it offers a destination for breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon walk, happy hour. You, literally, can’t go wrong with this place. The menu is quite broad and unique. My favorite being the Stovall sandwich and chocolate chip cookie. The best chocolate chip cookie in Atlanta, if not over baked. The staff has a lot of work on their hands, with it being on a small lot, small building, and most of the property given to the dogs, they manage it all in a friendly manner that seems quite easy for them. I hope they are paid as such. I’ve personally witnessed the owner do the work he asks of his employees. Makes me believe that a small business, like this, also pays their employees well. I’ve lived all over the US and no where tops this spot. I recommend it to everyone. Unless you’re allergic to dogs. Then I still recommend running the risk. Or at least knocking on the window/call and place a to go order. Get that chocolate chip cookie. Seriously. There’s nothing better.

My dogs and I have been a neighbor to Park Grounds for ten years! I love the casual, comfortable atmosphere - and even in these “uncertain times” - staff is very cautious and aware of Covid Precautions. Masks are required and they’ve close the cozy indoor area except for bathroom use and ordering. This is severely comforting to me, as I try to make as many efforts as possible to stay healthy and safe if I go out in public. Even hand sanitizer is provided. Park Grounds is the perfect spot to stretch out with plenty of outdoor seating & great sandwiches (even some tasty vegan options! Although, I selfishly wish they’d have a vegan pastry to offer as well). Who doesn’t love a place that can handle your needs whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, caffeine or booze fix, and do it all in the shade of an epic oak tree with all the doggo friends your heart can handle. Thank you, PG!PS - if you bring a dog, please be respectful to others and make sure your four legged friend is amicably social and that you clean up after them!

My boyfriend and I were so excited to take our two pups here! We finally got some time on a weekend to go, and our dogs were so thrilled! After about 45 fantastic minutes of being there, we noticed some broken glass by our table. Within two minutes we found a handful of glass shards, with about 5 different types of glass in there. Needless to say, we found this disturbing and immediately called our dogs to leave. When my boyfriend brought this to the staffs attention, all she said was “This used to be a parking lot, and glass gets unearthed when the dogs play. We pick it up intermittently but there really isn’t anything we can do about it.” While I completely understand the first part, i believe there is absolutely something you can do about it. If you want to run a business of this type, you should take actions to make sure you’re providing a safe environment for your patrons (or in this case their dogs). I understand this is a bar of sorts later in the day, but why do you think they don’t allow glass of children’s playgrounds. I also completely understand that NO ONE BUT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ANIMALS, but this a condition beyond my control. This is very disheartening, because just ten minutes before we found the glass, we were agreeing on how this should become a routine thing. Unfortunately, we will not be bringing our family back. Looks like we will be stopping for coffee before hitting another park.

We are black and they are white and lastly 3. We had a pit bull they had a mut. I was humiliated and had to explain what’s going on to my daughter. Another lady there left with us in disgust. The assistant manager who works here ( the blond lady with the tattoos, Kate) always has an unpleasant spirit about her, but I never had any direct occurrence with her, until today. I brought a pasta salad from home due to my dietary restrictions. She RUDELY TOLD ME that I can not bring outside food in. Before I could give an explanation she went on to curtly say, Get rid of it. As I stated before I have visited this place many times before and I have seen numerous people bring tupperware of food from home. So when I was approached by this woman I was surprised. I know she has seen me there many times before. I just visited this place yesterday! I felt very uncomfortable. I hate to bring race into this situation but i honestly did feel like she was being RACIST, due to me being a black woman. I am very disappointed because my dog enjoyed playing here with his friends.
