My favorite go-to coffee roaster in Atlanta. I get a 2lbs subscription every 2 weeks of fresh roasted coffee, and it never disappoints. If you like bitter coffee, you might not like it, but if you appreciate layers of flavor from high-quality beans this fits the bill.

Wow. If you want a sure sign that a roaster wont burn your latte... look no further than a spot that doesnt put handles on their latte mugs. If you want a spot-on capp or latte, this is the spot. The atmosphere is lively, unique, and you have a variety of seating available. They always get me the perfect pick-me-up with such great energy.Side note: their ham and cheese biscuit is WONDERFUL. They clearly source their food options thoughtfully. You have to get there earlier in the day before theyre all gone, though.

Awesome coffee shop and roaster tucked away on Ottley Drive. Ive been two consecutive weekends to enjoy a pour over and participate in their coffee cupping that is open to the public every Saturday at 10am. It is a great way to learn about, and experience, coffee in a whole new way. I cant recommend it enough. They also have a great seating area to read or work as you enjoy your coffee. Their menu includes breakfast sandwiches as well as sweet and savory baked goods.

They refuse to modify a simple coffee order. How very chic indeed. Avoid.

I go to the same coffee shops around Atlanta and I was in search for something new—and spacious. East Pole Coffee Co. seemed like a worthwhile contender. Upon arriving and being greeted at the register, the woman servicing my partner and I gave off a vibe that she wasn’t used to seeing people like us here too often.Her energy wasn’t inviting and she answered our questions with the inclination that we weren’t familiar with this type of setting—which is literally just a small coffee shop that gets to share a large staircase seating area with the other companies in the building.I was very hungry and to my disappointment, they only offered pre-made breakfast sandwiches with ham. I don’t eat pork at all. I asked her if I could have just an egg and cheese and she said yes. Then I asked does that mean they are just going to take the ham off. She averted her eyes and said yes. The pastries or “bites” as she called them, didn’t look worth my time. I also was planning to get a cup of coffee here, but after I’m done writing this review, I’m placing the untouched coffee on the counter and walking out.

In the area for the coffee fest and came by to visit your cafe. Everything was delicious and the espresso is incredible. I had a true treat experiencing your anaerobic espresso and OMG I LOVE it! Great job guys! BTW my group got some cronuts and cinnamon rolls as well and we all agree they are AMAZING too.

This place is pretty good. There is plentiful indoor seating on large stadium steps in the room adjacent to the coffee shop, though its not the most comfortable for longer periods of time. The coffee is nice -- not my favorite in Atlanta, but far superior to the mainstream places. Also, they have the greatest logo and cup design!

I got the Worka Sakaro beans, which makes really good espresso. The barista was very helpful in picking out beans. The space is nice too. Bike parking right outside so thats convenient as well. A little out of the way, but the coffee is worth it!

This place is so unique! Love the decor and vibe inside. Attentive and friendly staff. Very chill inside - seemed like many people were here doing work on their laptops inside and out. I got an iced coffee and salted caramel pastry. I loved the pastry! I wasn’t wild about the iced coffee but would definitely be back to try espresso or another hot coffee beverage. They have a coffee grinder (I think that’s what it was) in the back that you can see through the clear glass!

Place is great, good local coffee shop with great coffee. The ambiance is very chill and clean, and you can see the roaster in the back. They exaggerate a little, saying my latte was made with milk from a local creamery, while technically correct, I saw the whole foods milk carton he poured it from. Still good though.

I love this coffee shop! Their blends are fantastic, and you wont find better coffee anywhere in town. I work nearby, so Im here pretty often. The owners and baristas are really wonderful people. I dont know why the last person said they were pretentious, but Ive never seen any hint of that. Theyre really passionate about serving high-quality coffee in a relaxed, modern location. The music can get a little loud in the coffee shop at times (it depends on whos working), but theres a larger work space/gathering spot next door or outside. Parking is either on the street or in one of three parking lots around the building. Its all free. My two favorite drinks are the chocolate coffee drink (not too much chocolate or coffee -- its very well blended) and their current seasonal latte, which has a hint of orange and cinnamon.

First time here, but Ive heard great things from friends and they were all true! Friendly staff, good size, and good coffee! Very clean aesthetic which I appreciate. Definitely coming back!

My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! The coffee is consistently excellent and it’s a really nice place to study.

Enjoyed sitting in their outdoor seating area. Theres a table and couches and two rocking chairs. Also plenty of free street and lot parking.The coffee itself was made with a nice, light roast bean, and the milk was frothy and thick. Very solid cappuccino in my book! Seems they roast fairly regularly as well, so you can find fresh bags of beans to take home with you. Recommend!--FYI: closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day 2020!

The people are very personable and very helpful with the menu, as well. Very chill place with lots of places to mingle and talk with others and relax while your there. Would be 5 stars but the COVID compliance of the customers was essentially non-existent. The limited space doesnt help, but it also doesnt really account for no mask wearing among the 10-ish seated customers. Doom scrolling your phone and chatting with friends isnt really the same as drinking your beverage. The staff were all well masked, but didnt enforce customer safety. Before the pandemic I loved to go to this place. Perhaps Ill go back after, but only after. Great drinks, good food. Unfortunately, Its definitely not a safe place to be if youre worried about getting sick.

What a fantastic coffee shop! Plenty of parking down the street if needed. Great walking area. The coffee is the best in Atlanta. That is no joke. It was awarded the best coffee in all of Georgia by Food and Wine. I can tell why. Also, the staff brought out water cups while I was working. A wonderful chic minimalistic coffee shop we stopped by on a Sunday morning. The latte was beautiful and tasted very light though I would’ve like it to be more strong and with more of an original flavor. I also got a chocolate chip twist and it was delicious because the chocolate melted in your mouth along with being it tasting reminiscent of a croissant. I came with a large group and it was very nice that they had a large space so we could all sit together. Everyone who was with the group enjoyed this coffee shop too.

I think this is a great coffee company. I think they make the best coffee in town. I drive out of my way and buy beans from this roaster every week to make my own espresso at home. I drink espresso twice each day every week. I also purchase coffee drinks from East Pole on the days that I want to relax. I’m a regular.So when I come into your shop and order my usual drink, and you do not make it correctly and I tell you that, I’d truly appreciate it if you’d believe me. Please remake my drink. This barista has made my drink on several occasions and has a history of screwing up. I remember your face. I’ve never had issues with another barista at this shop. I know the modifications and how they taste. Don’t treat me like a liar. Don’t treat me like I don’t know my coffee. It’s disrespectful and unprofessional. And it looks awful on your team.If this behavior continues, I will look to give my regular coffee business to another deserving coffee roaster closer to my home.

When it comes to the best roasts, they definitely fight for the top with Prevail Union. Both easily distinguish themselves amongst all other roasts in the area. They have a great vibe to work, study, have a conversation, etc. Enjoy each cup as they change up their roasts frequently which is a good sign of a roaster always seeking and experimenting with new and different beans.

This minimalist coffee shop has wonderful outdoor seating as well as quieter space to work in the indoor amphitheater seating adjacent to the coffee shop. Their coffee has great flavor without being burnt. They don’t have many food options to my knowledge, but you can bring your own and sit outside.

Good coffee, and they offer cupping sessions on Saturdays, which is kind of fun to watch. Good place to read or meet someone.

Spacious, industrial-decored coffee shop with additional university-styled stair seats adjacent the cafe. Their iced coffee is robustly flavored and on the cheaper side for being a local coffee store and roaster. Also conveniently near Interstate 85 if you are passing through ATL.

Excellent coffee and quick service. Their mocha is actually steamed chocolate milk and espresso which is actually quite good as it isnt too sweet. I also had the maple danish which they warmed up without me asking. The space is very nice and open with plenty of outlets if you want to work on your laptop.

My husband and i are visiting from nashville and have heard thru friends good things about this place! we walked in and loved the atmosphere. so peaceful and so comfortable. the coffee is so good, such amazing quality. i tried your iced oat milk latte and i was surprised it was so delicious. i had never tried oat milk in my iced coffee before but this place has now made me a fan of it!! my husband tried your pour over and said it’s one of his favorites now. i would have given 5 stars if they had almond milk for my latte but because they didn’t carry it that day i am giving 4 stars. everything else to East Pole was so nice 😍 thank you to East Pole for making our morning coffee experience in Atlanta amazing! if you are visiting ATL or live here, both me and my husband highly recommend it!! ☺️☕️

The drink quality was low (under-extracted espresso). People left their stuff on chairs and could not find any seating area, when I pulled a chair to set on a table with my friend the staff asked me to return the table in an offensive way. Though, last time I visited the table had chairs. Overall, I did not have a good time setting there (no enough seating and a low quality drink). I gave three stars because last time was okay, but not this time.

This place is super neat. East Pole Coffee Co. not only has excellent coffee, but they also roast their own coffee right there in the shop. Great modern layout of the shop and very spacious. The location is perfect and the prices and fairly reasonable. They dont have many flavoring options for coffee besides the most common ones (vanilla, classic, etc.). Overall, East Pole is super cool & a great place to spend time reading, working, or relaxing.

Roasted in house every Tuesday. Beans from all over. Guatamalen blend is a bit peary with floral notes, not too rich. Nice, light brown tanning. Distribution is local. Nice staff, large industrial space. Overall great young roastery on the come up. Hours could be expanded, closes around 3pm each afternoon, mirroring the local industrial work schedule.

This a great hidden gem. The staff is courteous and there to answer your questions and have a bit of fun. The space is industrial sheek.

I wanted so badly to “love” this place. I’ve purchased their beans, along with coffee on 8 different occasions. The reason I can’t give them 5 stars is due to their lack of customer service. First, i was promised a product on 3 different occasions. East Pole never delivered on it. The barista even took down my number on my last visit, and promised I’d be contacted but I never heard back... if you call you can’t speak to ANYONE. You’re advised to email them, which I also did. So, two months of trying to get what I was promised, I’m done. You’d think they’d at least attempt to be competitive in their approach to customer service, especially during this time. Sorry guys, but I’m out.

So I was super excited to come here bc of beverages with oatly milk, the Batista version now. Sadly they were out when I got there. They don’t have chai tea. Now I was shocked what coffee shop, especially this one doesn’t have chai tea. I’m baffled. I was sad. Bu I got a regular vanilla latte with another brand of oat milk and it was good not extraordinary. But I was pleased. I can say definitely better than Starbucks. I just wish they had more choices on there menu. I felt it was to simple. And kinda ordinary. But would not tell someone not to come here. You get a good cup of coffee at the end of the day. Also beautiful. Absolutely beautiful location and atmosphere .

Prompt service, cool coffee shop next to these awesome social stairs. Parking can get tricky, have a very small lot and street parking. Did see some additional parking in the back but not sure if its available for customers. I got a latte and it was good. Not too bitter and just the right about of milk. Lots of seating and outlets! Can get noisy but overall awesome. Cant wait to come back.
