My body my choice does not apply here I was forced to wear a mask even though I have an excuse to not wear one.
Very bright flavor profile to their espresso. Had an Americano that was decent and a vegan donut that were pretty delicious. The vibe is ok, but not a place I would want to meet up with someone or stay and study at *shrug*.
Top three coffee shops ever for both me and my coffee addicted girlfriend! Their coffee was amazing! The space was very cool as well. Can’t wait for shops like this to be back in full swing where we can hang out, congregate or work. Service was great and the local artwork for sale gave a very nice homey feel.
This place has some of the best ☕ Ive ever tested.
The coffee is amazing and strong! The space is very modern and Instagrammable, if youre into that kind of thing. There isnt a lot of parking in the lot, but you can probably find street parking nearby.
The coffee here was amazing however, the lack of accessibility unfortunately tainted my experience. There is no handicapped parking. Also, it was extremely difficult for me to access the outdoor seating in my wheelchair. The entry for outdoor seating is blocked by bike parking. The other side is blocked by heavy outdoor planters. Thankfully a customer that saw me struggling was able to move the planters out of the way so I could access the tables. Its clear that accessibility was not a priority when creating the cafe. Id look forward to coming back if my experience was better.
I’ve been here twice now and both times it’s been phenomenal! vanilla bourbon cold brew is delicious
Good coffee, super friendly staff and nice fellow customers. It has a hipster vibe but people are very nice and welcoming even if you arent a hipster. :)
Love this place! Great coffee, delicious pastries and very good customer service/friendly staff!
I hadnt been to Chrome Yellow in years and it has gotten better! I used to live behind the coffee shop in a condo community so I would drop by for an easy morn ing coffee. At that time the menu was limited adn they had clothing and accessories that occupied most of the interior space. I revisited just a week ago and found that the menu has gotten longer and more of the space is dedicated to seating with only a small section for shopping. Would recommend though it seems to get busy so you may not find a seat!
Just went in for a refreshment. I ordered the purple rain, am a Prince fan. It was refreshing and satisfying.
Surprisingly good batch coffee. Plenty of seats and tables - including outdoors - in a minimalist space. Also shop selling notebooks, coffee related magazines, candles and more. Will definitely be heading back when I’m in Atlanta again. Also close to great restaurants and bars if you want to transition later in the day.
Chrome Yellow Trading was my base for a couple of days while attending a conference. Lucky to have rented an Airbnb across the street. The staff was terrific and coffee/pastries great. It can get very crowded at times, and that is awesome. I like meeting local people that love good service and coffee.
Loved the decor and the customer service is amazing!! I got a vanilla cappuccino and it was delicious
Coffee was great and service was even better. I left my purse and I called the store and they already had it in the back ready for me to pick it up.
One of the most elite coffee spots in the city, this chic and elegant shop has an undeniable uniqueness to it. With a neat store selling ATL designed swag, near-perfect natural lighting, and an asymmetric layout, the space is memorable (there’s also outdoor seating). After many trips I can say easily that the coffee is superb - and while not huge, the pastry selection is surprisingly diverse and always tasty. With excellence comes cost, and CYTC is no exception - $6 for a small iced mocha w/soy. So be prepared for that. Parking is also limited. Ultimately, the ambiance (great focused study vibes) mixed with the product make it worth the money for me.
Friendly service, nice atmosphere but most importantly great coffee. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it. The hand pie was also amazing!
Very yummy, and staplehouse pies are so good. Only complaint is it is ridiculously overpriced, my dirty chai is like $8…
The vanilla bourbon latte & variois seasonal offerings are amazing
Im a barista and pilot, which means Ive had a lot of lattes from a lot of places. This one was easily top 10 shops Ive ever been
I visited some coffee shops in Atlanta but this one is where I want to go back! The smell, the trendy-industrial ambience, the layout itself. The black, the concept...The first thing I look at when I go somewhere is the design, and this place got all my attention. The jackets, the hangers, the racks, the old fashioned motorcycle... everything! And the most important: the coffee and bakery were something to remember! It made me recall my years at architecture school.. the vibes, the energy! This coffee shop is the best!! And staff is friendly and with a positive attitude.
Cashier had an attitude when I asked for the wifi. Left a sour note in my experience. The solice was that the coffee was great.
My family and I were visiting from out of town. I came to Chrome Yellow for some coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the interior - lots of natural light, great seating that’s got plenty of space between you and your neighbor. Sadly they were out of their nitro brew but the cold brew was super good. The employees were friendly and helpful. One even went out of her way while I tried to shove my baby’s stroller out of the way and held the door open for me. Much appreciated!
Consistently the most enjoyable pulls of espresso I have found in the city. Everything is always dialed in properly for an intense aroma, full body, and long finish. Other coffee shops in the area could learn a thing or to from the pros behind the counter here. Also, the latte art is pretty much flawless if thats something that is important to you!
Great spot. Great staff. Great coffee. Every time
Amazing community and staff! the environment is lovely, so clean and beautiful. reminds me of LA. it lifts your mood and I think it improves my work when I do it here. everyone here is friendly but you can get a lot of good work done at the same time. also the coffee is the best!! great menu!!! there are also sandwiches and treats if you get hungry.
Fabulous coffee, great space, a couple of tables outside to sit. I thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino both days. They have pastries too from other bakeries; the danish was decent but I did not like the empanada at all... but if its a coffee youre after this is the place
Got a tasty seasonal lavender latte that was recommended by one of the baristas.
Wonderful coffee shop! Very bike friendly. Great vibes!
First time here and amazing favor that you can get from a local coffee shop. Support your local coffee shop not Starbucks. Thank you for the recommendation on the pastry with my ice rose latte. The coffee pack I got was amazing as well.
I’m sure the coffee may be great, but customer service is I guess, circumstantial based on how you look. Out of the times I’ve entered here I’ve never felt welcomed bc of the nicety attitudes I received. Iykyk
Great coffee shop! Limited parking up front (4 spaces), but you can park on the street. Amazing space, lots of seating options. Outlets every where. Strong, easily accessible wifi. Delicious coffee and pastries. A few panini options for breakfast and lunch pre-made). Non-alcoholic cold beverages and a few canned beers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The music is fairly loud, so not ideal for conference calls or serious meetings, but the perfect place to work and chill.
Still not open for indoor dining despite government guidance. Avoid wasting your time showing up here to enjoy coffee until they come to their senses.
The interior gives me this plant lovers, natural light loving vibe. Hipster-ish? Its nice. Its a place Id go to read a book, have an extended brunch, listen to a podcast maybe? Its just relaxing atmosphere.Vibe rating: 5Coffee is up there! Its definitely in my top 3 with East Pole and Prevail. Ive never actually bought whole beans from them, but that should change soon.Coffee rating: 5Their merch is also solid which many arent Chrome Yellow Co specific. Just all around solid place and my favorite place in terms of looks.
Great coffee. Good pastries. Nice staff. Little outdoor area to enjoy
Great coffee, has nice outdoor seating and bike parking.
One of our favorite coffee spots in Atlanta. Fantastic coffee, whether I’m in the mood for a smooth shot of espresso or a maple oat coldbrew, it hits the spot.
Very friendly staff selling his drinks and snacks. It would be easy to become a regular.
They have amazing alfajores. If you are fan of them you must try this place
One of my favorite coffee shops in Atlanta. The vanilla bourbon latte and almond milk mocha are both very good.
Supper great coffee with wild flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of their brews by starting with fine roasted coffee. The people here were very friendly.
This is a really cute coffee shop for the neighborhood. The ladies that work there are really friendly. You can quickly grab a coffee. The parking is extremely limited. There is maybe four spots. If you are walking in the neighborhood its the perfect stop. There are two picnic tables out front period if you need to sit for a while without worrying about catching coronavirus they are great for that. There is also some street parking.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta by far!! Not just because of the AMAZING coffee but because of the staff! They are the best and seriously brighten my day. I am ride or die chrome yellow
Terrible customer service. Was tasting my coffee and asked for sugar and the person snapped and said pull up your mask while being in distance. Coffee was descent but not for that type of overpriced coffee.
Been here more times than I can count at this point! their chai is super good, their sandwiches are even BETTER (for real tho you have to try the egg sandwich or the tofu sandwich, tofu isnt on the menu but just ask if they have it) and its a good place to get some work done. it gets a little hectic during finals season but otherwise Im actually very productive there! on the pricier side of cafes but if you want to run out and grab food elsewhere theres plenty of nearby, walkable options in Edgewood
Minimalist coffee workplace!
I love the coffee here, and the cashier and barista are wonderful.
Seriously one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to. The staff were kind and conversational. They helped us pick out a blend of coffee beans (they carry methodical coffee and stumptown coffee 🙌). The vibe is clean, modern, spacious, and inviting. 10/10 would be here every day if i lived in Atlanta. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Great spot with good vibes and quality coffee. Usually plenty of space, WiFi, and a great location just off Edgewood in Sweet Auburn. I come here fairly often to read and write, and have always been able to plug my computer in, focus, and relax. Arguably the best coffee shop in the neighborhood along with Condesa.
CYTC opened when I had already moved away from Atlanta, so I started dropping by for coffee back in 2015. They started roasting their own beans after operations began, but continued to sell other roasters’ beans. They rep the Atlanta and southeast region so effortlessly while also displaying beans from much farther away (Brandywine from DE). Prices are competitive, pastries are delicious, baristas are always friendly, pourovers be poppin.
The service was terrible. One of the lady’s that gave us the coffee had a nasty attitude. On top of that the coffee was good, but over priced.
If you’re a hipster that wants overpriced coffee, go here. Similar to wine connoisseurs who taste cheap wine under the impression that it’s expensive, remark on the impeccable taste and aroma. Same here.
Great coffee options. Wish they did smoothies as well.
Friendly service and delicious coffee. They offer many varieties of freshly roasted beans as well.
I had a really good Latte. And they are super friendly :)
Go here every chance I get to coffee. They remember my name and even my order. Only coffee shop I go to in Atlanta!
This place is absolutely one of my favorites. it has a cool atmosphere. i can see why they have a lot of good reviews.
Delicious coffee! Skimmed over reviews for a great coffee shop in Atlanta. Our decision to give Chrome Yellow a try was their oat milk alternative. So glad we did bc the cappuccino did not disappoint! The curbside delivery is a bonus.
I wasnt able to stay for long, but I loved my short visit at Chrome Yellow early this winter. The shop was just about to close for the night, but the fellow behind the coffee bar made sure to spend time on us. He told us about the coffees the shop offered, what was still available (because it was late in the evening), and which coffee might be a good fit for what we were looking for. (This is what salespeople are *supposed* to be like! Good listeners, educational, and out for your best option.) The guy sold us two cartons of cold brew to take home, and we loved what we tasted! My husband and I had never had cold brew before, and Ive been meaning to come back for more!We moseyed around the shop a little, too, before leaving. It was all too pricey for me right now, but Id be interested in hearing about how the quality and sturdiness matches up to the price tag. Im reaching the point in my life where Id rather pay more for something thats going to last, and Im curious to hear more about whether the clothing sold at Chrome Yellow fits the bill. I cant comment on that for now, though.Again, GREAT service, excellent coffee, and Im looking forward to when I can make it out to the area again for some more cold brew! I have 0 complaints whatsoever from my short stop at Chrome Yellow.
Great Cortado. Great service.
Absolutely love their drip coffee and especially their own partner roast point counter point. The vibe in here is so calming and they have a great retail selection for gifts! Every time I come here, the staff remember me by name and ask about life. Its exactly what you want from your local coffee shop!
It’s all in the beans baby! They’ve got a great roast. Not too acidic, robust flavor, good service
Excellent coffee shop, killer cappuccino!
Great coffee and a great place to study! They also have a variety of beans for purchase from different roasteries.
Girlfriend and I biked 14 miles round trip just to try their special. Theyre just consistently that good. Masks required, good COVID response. Outdoor patio where you can wait.
Choice of espresso- blend and single origin- outdoor seating, three parking places
4 stars because it is quite expensive! Still a good coffee though, so I guess you get what you pay for. Really nice vibe, great for studying. Staff is so friendly. They also play really good music!
Friendly baristas and delightful coffee! Dont miss the maple cold brew.
Delicious coffee and muffins. Only doing outdoor seating at the moment but it was shady and nice!
