We loved the fantastic hot chocolate. My son loved his. The staff are really friendly. The chocolate croissant was delicious. Nice inside and a great patio area. We will be back again to try more coffee and other chocolate based drinks!

Off the end of an Atlanta strip mall and next to a Publix, this coffee shop is unassumingly impressive from the outside, but ended up being pleasantly surprised! Im a sucker for trying out local coffee shops when I travel, and I happened to find this place as most coffee shops close after 5pm on weekend days. The inside of this coffee shop is cozy with its handwritten menu and rather random decor. The menu itself also had very unique items, such as Chocolate Coffee, Romania Coffee, and a variety of signature lattes for those that enjoy something sweeter. I simply ordered an Americano, which ended up being not too overly bitter nor watered down. They also have a good number of cup sizes, and pricing is pretty standard to most local cafés.If youre looking for a small pick-me-up for the day your morning joe, this one is worth the visit.

Love this place. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. In a world plagued by the “Bucks”, it’s nice to find a spot that holds true to the craft of coffee. My favorite at the moment is the Black berry mocha, it’s a bit on the sweet side but the baristas are more than happy to adjust the recipe to accommodate a less sweater version. The atmosphere is pleasant, plenty of seating, and decent prices. A must-go-to and a repeater for Atlanta.

Im not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I tried the dark chocolate mocha everyone is raving about and it was decent, but it needed a little bit of oomph if yknow what I mean. The sweetness level was great (dont like too much sugar and they can modify it for you if you have a sweet tooth), but Ill probably ask for an added espresso shot next time to give it more punch since I like very strong coffee.I tried a macaron and it was good! But lordt it was teeny tiny for the price lol. Considering the quality of the ingredients however, its understandable.

Stopped by to get a quick almond milk latte before work. The staff were super polite and the coffee extremely flavorful! Next time Im in the area Ill stay and enjoy the pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of coffee spot I grew up loving back in my home town and wish I still had near me today.

Very relaxed. Best of all close to my condo. And no politically correct drinks. Just good coffee and pastries. And the coffee shop has become better since my review four years ago. Masks are requested because of the pandemic.

ChocoLate used to be an every once in a while treat for me, but they have successfully got me hooked on having their drinks as my end of the week treat. In the cooler months I am obsessed with their dark chocolate mochas, and currently in the summer I drink their extreme caramel frappes. My boyfriend has had regular black coffees and cold brews and enjoys those as well. It is a warm and cozy spot with staff that have always been super friendly with me! They have also done a good job with COVID preparations as well. It is wonderful to have such a great local cafe around us, and I highly recommend that you visit them!

Been here a few times and it’s sooo good! I love supporting local businesses, and in my opinion service and drinks are much better than any corporation, including starbucks.

The vibe is cool and laid back with comfy couches and free Wi-Fi!!! It is the quintessential coffee shop.....I had the Mudslide Shaker Frappe and my friend had the Bananas Foster!!! Both were absolutely delicious! I added a shot of espresso to the mudslide...yummy!!!

Warm, organic fuel for the locals.They work hard to avoid making anything look corporate or mainstream. Handmade signs, organic coffee and creative drinks make this place feel like your mom put it together. They have found the crowd and the place has a local, loyal following.They have organic espresso, nice, gluten free products and a variety of dairy-free options as well. They also have a rich collection of pastries behind the counter. The espresso is rich and syrupy and a little bit sweet. It really does have a chocolatey taste and the name fits. It is this amazing espresso that keeps me coming back.We staff is friendly and trained to treat you well. They, like the rest of the store tend to be more organic than corporate.

I came into this store this morning before I started my day off going to my job and previous to when I was getting ready to leave out of the store I asked the young lady to remove the lid that she put on my coffee cup for a new one to see if she can use a napkin or a glove to put the lid on my cup she argued with me and was very hostile I even offered to grab a napkin myself to give to her so she can wrap around the lid to give to me she was very rude I come in there everyday.. but there is one particular guy who always takes my order and he always gets it right he is very nice and I love his customer service but I will also working in fast food or a fast-paced environment and I also know it does get a little overwhelming at times but for you to argue with your customer is not good customer service

This place is right by my work, which saves me a lot of time on my lunch break. They have a lot of great options comparable to Starbucks, but I honestly like them better. The staff here is super friendly and always remembers me. They have some good milk alternatives, including macadamia! Its also really cozy and they have a lot of comfy couches.

Always a friendly face at the counter, good coffee, tea and smoothies, too. Oh, if you are going to sit and enjoy your coffee or tea, youll also get to make yourself comfortable in one of the many sofas and armchairs.. Even after 18 years or so, this family owned cafe at the corner is definitely a favorite.

This is the most cutest coziest Cafe ever. When you walk in it gives you that warm feeling of a Cozy home. They have couches, chairs table for you to sit in and theres a patio outside, so if you feel like you need to Cozy up to a couch or sit up in a chair to do your work this is the place. The atmosphere is quiet most of the time. When I walked in they greeting me very polite and if you have any question they are happy to help you. I got stuck deciding on a tea for like 10 minutes and the gentleman there was so nice explaining the taste of each tea and the benefits which was amazing. Most people dont know much about teas but they do and they even had a list on the teas on a paper explaining the taste, where its from, whats it made with some were exotic to me. I ended up buying an African tea which was nice but I dont know how to explain it its nothing like I had before (if you are there look at the list it will describe it better then me). I also got myself a mini muffin which was so good. They do also offer vegan options snack and they have more espresso beverage coffees also. Overall my experience was Great because it made me feel cozy if that makes sense lol.

I thought it was a nice quaint place. I wouldnt go there for a cappuccino but if youre in need of a nice sweet mocha than this is the place for you! Good amount of seating and music level was perfect. Im sure on a nice spring day I would utilize the outdoor seating.

I stopped here for tea and to study. The tea was not great. I think they made it with boiling water, which I dont think is right for green tea. I let it steep, but it tasted like hot water.I also thought the space was cramped and uncomfortable. I live nearby, so Ill probably try them once more since the very have so many positive reviews.

Place is nice. People are friendly. Cappuccino was OK, but not good. Also, no latte art as shown here in the pictures.Had a bacon quiche that was a terribly small piece and the texture was like a sponge.

Great café in Brookhaven for cold, rainy days. The space had more seating than I initially thought with a secluded room in the back. The baristas also knew how to make different blends of coffee depending on your preferences or tastes, though they run out of their featured lattes and coffees pretty quickly! I’ll have to return to try their sweets next time. :) overall, chill place to study and work while enjoying sweet blends of coffees and hot chocolates.

Great local coffee shop. They have lots of milk alternatives, including macadamia nut milk. They also had a delicious vegan chocolate ganache that was delicious. Their coffee isnt bitter and is just as delicious when I make it at home as when I get it in store. They show local art and have a chalkboard wall for impromptu art. Their dark chocolate syrup is also vegan, so dairy free folks can get a mocha.

I really enjoyed my coffee and conversation with the employee. The selection is limited but yummy.

So annoyed by my visit just now. The first time i visited was AMAZING this time was a complete NO! Bad enough i just threw my large hot coffee away did not even want to be bothered by the 2 ditz upfront for a refund uggghhhhh so disappointed. I love the menu selections and they are the only place I can have macadamia nut milk in my coffee. Love the staff, love the art, love the place over all. AND when you need that quick pick me up, there coffee will do it. From regular to the shot in the dark. Love.

This is an amazing family owned coffee shop with customized coffee, milkshakes, teas and wonderful fruit drinks. They have different types of pastries too. It is a great place to get work done. The WiFi is great. This location has the same people that have been coming back almost everyday for years and I am one of them now. The prices are sensible if you think about them being an independent coffee store. They have raised prices a few times over the years but that is necessary to stay alive. The other location is on North Decatur road and it is much bigger.

One of my favorite places for a mocha. Specialty coffees are incredible with a wide array of milks (oatmilk to be specific). Barristas are kind and give great recs. Nice place to stop in to meet a friend. Bonus: Its next door to my Publix, so I can stop in before I grab my groceries.

Great little coffee shop. I loved their blueberry muffin. It had the texture of something between a muffin and angel food cake. Also the barista made me a perfect extra dry cappacinno. I dont know if Ive had better. The micro foam and the amount of the foam was amazing.

We have visited both locations countless times in the last few years. Today was the first time we had a bad experience. The lady behind the counter was incredibly rude. Super impatient because my kids took a couple of minutes to decide what they wanted (there was no line). Rolled her eyes when I asked if something was gluten-free. Ignored my husband when he mistakenly asked for a tall latte, then replied I dont know what you mean by a tall latte when he repeated his request. I understand the store uses different sizes, but she could have simply pointed to the cups and asked which size he wanted. The bathroom was dirty and the soap dispenser was empty. At least the barista was nice and the coffee was as good as ever. Please retrain this employee!!

For the same size drink here you get more espresso then at those other places.Iced Soy Latte is really amazing at this place.Friendly employees know many of the customers by name!But most importantly their coffee beverages taste great!

Love this place over Starbucks because it gives an at home feeling. I go hear to read my books because i can concentrate better. Starbucks is too noisy and it feels like a franchise when im there..

I want to give 3.5 but I cant. I just felt like the employees werent super enthusiastic about my questions regarding the ingredients in their drinks and desserts and maybe were borderline annoyed. The atmosphere appears cozy, I just got weird vibes.

Friendly staff, many hanging out folks not being hassled. Good variety of drinks including smoothies. Only complaint-oreo cheesecake. Cheesecake is not supposed to be spongy and spring back to the touch. Crust caky and too thick. Definitely go with a different pastry, cheesecake has to be revamped from scratch.

The first time I went in, the service was great! They spoke when I entered into the shop. This time, no one spoke at the counter. I ordered a chai tea latte and it had coffee in it. I can’t drink coffee at all it makes me sick. Didn’t know their was a difference between the latte and the tea. I can honestly say it was my fault I ordered the wrong drink, but in order for me to get the correct drink, I had to pay another $6. I wasted $6 because I couldn’t drink the drink. I’m thinking good customer service, I would have received another drink. I told her that I didn’t know that there was a difference and she still stated I still had to pay for another drink. I left the wrong drink on the counter and told her thank you.

Although, through the pandemic, ChocoLate has been very helpful with ordering online, delivering coffee drinks and now has re-opened her on premises facilities. We love you guys! 😉- Great Staff!Regal Robb
