The kindest gentleman took care of my order. Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate Mr. Bill provided me with a better understanding of coffee beans. It’s not just about flavor and location but the process as well. (Very helpful!) While the shop may not be open for a cuppa the owner is working hard to fill orders for patrons. Order online and be ready to pickup at your slotted time.

I was walking around when I found this amazing place. Basically they are famous because of coffee roasting. They have many different coffees, fresh and with great quality. The price is different but in average you can buy coffee beans for 14-16 bucks per pound. Its a great place if you just want to order a coffee, sit and read a book! The staff are so friendly and the service is good.I ordered a Cappuccino for $3.75. The price is comparable and the quality was great. On Sundays they have roasting and the store is closed.I really enjoyed my time there and Ill definitely go there again.

Youll never go back to Starbucks again! If you can visit this place during their business hours (9-5) I highly suggest trying the Carmel Frappe. Its liquid gold. Margie is their normal barista during the week and shes not only friendly but quick.

This is a cozy coffee shop with a huge selection of beans. You wouldn’t think it would be the best considering it’s in a shopping center but if you are near it, go in and you won’t be disappointed. The barista when we were there was super friendly and helpful.

Wow, this place is pretty rad. Boyfriend and I came in hoping to get some guidance on what kind of bean to experiment with since we just got an espresso machine. Bill and Leo were very personable and made our experience so fun and educational. We are excited to come back and check out all the cool coffee beans they have to offer !

My friend and I just walked in. There was 1 customer in there speaking to a guy, short, stout, maybe mid 30s, about him taking 14 espresso shots a day. We sat our laptops down and waited 3 minutes. The barista never even looked at us. No, hello! Or, I will be with you in a moment. We packed up our things and walked out slowly. He STILL never said to give him a moment. It is clear he didnt want our business. I was recommended to this place but I will be sure to let my friends know this place isnt welcoming. I wont be back. A shame.

So so great, my favorite coffee place in Atlanta. The baristas have always been phenomenally informed on coffee flavors, however never condescending or snobby. The atmosphere is fantastic, couches are soft without drowning, tables and chairs have a diverse selection, and patrons/employees are quiet and polite. Pricing is also excellent, though sometimes bean choices are limited. Also, the pastries are nothing to write home about, but I dont particularly care since Im there for the coffee. Simultaneously baffled and pleased that Emory students dont crowd the place-- I want more of my peers to support this business, but they can also be loud.

The people here are always friendly and knowledgeable, and they offer a wide variety of choices from all over the globe at prices on par with the bigger coffee chains. Be warned, though... the freshness of their coffee may ruin your taste for the chain stores completely!

Great coffee roasted right on the premises, combined with a homey laid back ambiance makes this an irresistible venue to hang out and pass some quality time. Bill Letbetter has created a gem in the middle of Toco Hill. Thats Leo in the pic. Very friendly and takes care of business. So do Margie, Haley and Casey. If youre from China, feel free to test Haleys and Caseys language skills. Warning! It will be a slam dunk for Haley.

These guys have the absolute best coffee in Atlanta. Im a coffee aficionado (and used to roast my own beans), and the coffee here cant be beaten. This is the only place Ill buy beans.

Went once, loved their beans. Hours are impossible though. I dont mean to blame them, but its just really difficult to get in there. Literally the only time a person with a standard 9-5 can go is on Saturday. And the last Saturday I went they were randomly closed! Im sure they ran some numbers and figured out most profitable hours... but if their desired customer is like me, they are missing out on a lot of business!

I have never actually been ACR, but I purchase all of our beans by phone or online and have them shipped to me. Their coffee is the best. We started buying beans at Starbucks, but Id have to be truly desperate to back to them. ACR is so much better. I usually purchase about 6 pounds of coffee per shipment, and freeze five. Bill knows his coffee!!!

The two times I called, during business hours, got a recorded message that they were open and replenishing their inventory. I could leave a message, which I did. All I wanted to know was if they had Kona beans in stock. The first time I called, I left my phone number, twice in the message, but by 430pm the next day, nobody had bothered to return my call. When I called late in the afternoon the next business day and during business hours, I got their machine again so I took the opportunity to comment on their very poor customer service. I went to J. Martinez Coffee and got my Kona beans. Now there is an establishment that knows how to treat a customer. So much for patronizing local neighborhood stores. Im just tickled pink that this place has so much business they can afford to blow off potential new customers.

Probably the best coffee in Atlanta, several coffee options to choose from. Only problem is that they are not consistently open. I took some high profile clients there a week or two ago and was embarrassed to tell them that the best coffee shop in town was temporarily closed.

Atlanta Coffee Roasters is located right off of North Druid Hills and Lavista and has been sitting on our list of places to investigate for at least a year. Finally, finally we checked it off. This post summed up: Not worthy of the drive, especially for all you city snobs like myself.Atmosphere- ...or should I say lack-thereof? ACR has nothing to offer in this regard. The interior is dim and dingy which pushes you outside to enjoy your coffee, however the exterior presents you with a parking lot view of the Toco Hills shopping center.Coffee- I cant completely dismiss ACR because this cafe does create good coffee drinks, and without good coffee theres really no point. My cinnamon latte was delicious and extremely frothy...yummmm... and Anand admitted that his coffee was nice as well. They do sell an incredible variety of whole beans which range from your classic go-to Colombian roast all the way to a Snickerdoodle blend.Service- When it comes to a coffee shop Im looking for a friendly barista who serves coffee with pride and genuinely likes what he does. The one employee working when we stopped in was quick and got the job done, but he didnt contribute anything more than that.Location- The Toco Hills shopping area reminds me of a suburban strip mall. Location= fail.Legitimacy- If it werent for my friend who mentioned this coffee shop to me I wouldnt ever have heard of it, which goes to say that this cafe doesnt carry much of a reputation.
