Benjamin and Gabriel, the two men who took up our carpet and installed solid hardwood, did a wonderful job. They were accommodating, understanding, and highly skilled. What I thought might take two days instead took five hours from start to finish. They worked carefully and efficiently. Ive just finished renovating my house and had a great experience working with Great American Floors. They were responsible for replacing the hardwood in the main floor + carpet in 2 additional floors. Steve and Erin were really responsive providing the estimates quickly, taking measurements and helping me to pick the carpet and laminate options which were on my budget and available in stock. Rachel was able to accomodate the installation quickly and all the work was done in 2 days (1 day for the carpet work and 1 day for the laminate). I am really haoppy wih the final results: installation was really well done and I would defnitly recommend Great American Floors!

Exceptional work! The floors look awesome. We had the floors done before moving in to a new house we bought. The hardwood floors were of different age in the house. But their excellent work got the wood floors to look uniform throughout the house. Last week, we had hardwoods and kitchen tile replaced with Great American Floors. The selection process and installation were easy - plenty of communication and options, and the floors look amazing. Most importantly, the company’s customer service was really exceptional after the install. There were a few areas that needed some attention (loose tile and snagged board). The installer Prado came over to fix it - he is a perfectionist so it looked amazing. This is why you choose a small business over a large retailer – the customer service is exceptional! There are not enough superlatives to describe my experience with Great American Floors! From the initial meeting with Steve to quote the job, he wasn’t even “just” on time, he was early. That level of service continued throughout the entire project. The start date had to be moved up on short notice due to complications with my kitchen contractor falling behind. They accommodated the need graciously and worked me into the calendar. I received a reminder call the night before they were supposed to start and was told they would arrive between 8:30 & 9:00. If memory serves, they arrived at 8:35. I walked Benjamin and Gabriel though the house and they set to work. I finished a few tasks and was getting ready to leave when, to my surprise, Steve walked in. Amazing! Never expected him to show up to make sure all was on task and set to go. What service! What follow through!The crew had all the floors sanded and ready for stain same day. I never expected it to go so quickly and wasn’t available to go by to see stain samples. Benjamin happily went back into the house and took some pictures of various samples to text me for my approval. The one I chose was a custom mix Benjamin did to match our handrails. It was practically perfect!Each day, they arrived just before 9am and worked until after 6pm the first two days. The 3rd and 4th days were shorter as they were just buffing and putting down another coat of clear to give it a durable and beautiful finish. Regardless of their exit time, they took the time to call me and update me of their progress that day. They were also sure to lock all doors, turn off all lights, arm the alarm, and lower the garage door before they left. Flawless execution of workmanship and customer service. I haven’t found a single spot in need of a touch up. The floors and stairs look and feel incredible!In short, all that needs to be said is that it was immeasurably refreshing to work with Steve, Benjamin, Gabriel, and the entire team at Great American Floors! So rare to find a contractor these days who makes promises and actually follows through doing everything they say they will, when they say they will, and without sacrificing quality! I find one of the hardest decisions is choosing a contractor to do anything to my house because there are so many choices out there and often no way of knowing what youre getting. The only place I have no worry about that is for my flooring- hardwood and carpet. I have used Great American Floors for years- hardwood and carpet and am thrilled with every project. I bought my original hardwood flooring (most of my house) and carpet from them. But what really amazes me is that twice Ive had to have partial replacement of hardwood due to 1) water damage and 2) a remodeling job where I took out a wall. They were able to redo a small part of the floor and it blends perfectly with the old floor. I challenge anyone to say where the old floor stops and the new starts. I was amazed at the low price. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Benjamin and Gabriel did an excellent job....even though I know where the issue was, I cannot tell that they removed original hardwood, replaced it, sanded and were able to flawlessly match the stain. I had Great American Floors install Shaw Titan HD LVP in my basement. They had to do some concrete prep to level out my slab and remove uneven spots, then they installed the flooring. They did everything in under 8 hours with a 4-man crew. I still need to paint and throw on some shoe molding, but as you can see, the floor looks amazing. I would highly recommend Great American Floors based on the quality of work. I also appreciated the attentiveness and quick responses from the Project Coordinator, Stephen.
