Attended the candle making class this past weekend and it was AMAZING. Brian was the instructor and he did a magnificent good πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ if hes the instructor for all the sessions Im attending with no questions asked. He very knowledgeable and keeps the class interesting! It didnt know what to expect honestly but I can say I will definitely be attending the scent making class.A couple of things worth noting..1. I noticed people left reviews regarding not smelling their candles. Well Im here to say I CAN smell my candles.. is it as strong as bath and body works NO but I can smell the scent without having to stick my nose in the candle lol2. You will have to pick your candle up the following day to allow your candle to form and Brian trimmed the wicked and what not so be mindful of that when attending the class3. This is perfect for a date night! So bring a bottle of wine. Or if youre a lover of candles.

Candle #4 is my favorite! I buy their brand of candles from a beauty supply in powder springs. I’m addicted to this scent.

We did the Jr. candle making workshop at Candlefish @ Ponce City Market for my daughter’s 13th birthday. The store is adorable. Heidi was absolutely amazing! We learned a lot and had a blast! She even surprised my daughter with a birthday treat. I highly recommend.

I recently attended a class here and had a great time. The Chandler (candle-maker) leading the class was sweet and gave lots of good information on the stores history, philosophy, and of course, candle-making. I went with one person and would definitely do this class again. It would be great for a special event with a group. The class size is 12, which was perfect. The reason for four stars is that you have to come back to pick up your candle which isnt absolutely awful but I dont live super close so its going to be a pain to pick it up. If you cant get back within 2 weeks, theyll ship it to you for about $12 but thats too much to me, considering that the class itself is a little pricey.

I was really overwhelmed about choosing candles as a gift to several friends. Kay took the time to ask me about my friends, their vibe, and space. Then on the spot, she picked scents that matched each of my friends perfectly and EVEN helped my find a signature scent for myself. Her service was impeccable and spirit was so warm. Thanks so much for making my shopping experience (especially in COVID times) wonderful and easy. I’ll be back!

Dont waste your money. The candle smells great but when you lite them you smell nothing. I bought 2 big candles and one small candle and feel like Ive been robbed. I put the big candle in my small bathroom and its still very faint.

Candlefish was the perfect afternoon activity for my sister’s bachelorette party! Ani helped me book it and she was super helpful! We did the $55/person Saturday class which was perfect for the 8 of us. We each got to make 2 candles during the class. Our instructor Brian was awesome and kept the class fun the entire time!! He was also super helpful with helping us pick our scent for our candles. They have so many scents to choose from, that we all felt like we found the perfect one! It was fun we were able to bring our own drinks too. I will definitely be back!

Impressed by the staff’s extraordinary knowledge of the Candlefish β€œlibrary” of 100 candles and scents! Candles are numbered, not named, in order to prevent the consumer from developing a bias before enjoying each scent. I shared my favorite scents with my scent expert and was presented with the candles that best fit my preferences. As I shared my impressions, she further curated potential favorites. I could spend all day (and all of my paycheck) in this store, though their candles are very reasonably priced. If I lived in Atlanta I would definitely join one of their candle making classes ($55, take home 2 candles)!

Took a class here with friends and had a wonderful experience! For ~$50 you will get to make 2 candles, unfortunately they have to be the same scent. Their labeling system and scent library is a very unique setup and is definitely an experience I would recommend!

I was interested in making my own candles - saw Candlefish and scheduled a date. They provide you with the materials, extensive fragrance options and detailed instructions for making your own candles. Its a group session so you may be seated with others during your session. It was a fun activity. Good for couples, girls group, work group, etc.

Such a fun store to go to. They have different scents that you can use to make a candle thats more customized towards what you would want. You or a friend can make your own library card with your favorites, which is awesome. Especially if you can get a gift for somebody else who has already been there before by pulling their card.

This place is amazing all of the scents are great and the staff want to make sure you get exactly what you want. Go in knowing what sort of scent you want in a candle and do a smell test until you find the right one. For the price I am suprised how high quality these candles are my $10 candle lasted forever and smelled so incredible.

Service was great, but when I got home and burned the candle, I smelt...nothing. Its been consistent as well. I live in a small apartment so the scent should have filled the air. However, it seems it is only appealing to sight, not scent...such a shame.

The most amazing candleshop Ive ever been in! What sets this place apart is that all their candles are made in-house using their own ingredients and fragrances. The best part is, they keep the names of the fragrance mixes OFF the labels, and use a number system. This allows the shopper to sample various types of fragrant mixes and not pre-judge what they might prefer. I love it! The staff is very invested in the shops philosophy, and they were patient and friendly as they worked with me to find the perfect scent for my wife. I will be back! But I hope they open a shop in Nashville :D

The first thing you notice when you walk in is The Library:A collection of 100 candleson an expansive wall...representing a carefully curatedscent spectrum.Impressive...if not intimidating, but dont fret...their highly intuitiveScent Masters can effortlessly guide you to the perfect fragrance. As a bonus... if you take a stroll around the room you will also find a thoughtfully curated array of candles from other vendors, as well as intriguing gifts. One of the more fascinating aspects of this boutique is they offer intimate candle making classes. Candle making class and dinner in PcMs blossoming Food Hall?? Whats more romantic than that? Parting note... of course I took one to my casa. Here is what I discovered... when you burn these candles you will quickly recognize the drastic difference between a carefully crafted candle and a lesser model. This candles subtly fills a room with a scent vs. hammering you over the head with it. As a candle connoisseur... this is one of the best shoppes of its kind in the country. SCORE = MUST VISIT
