At a little less than 50,000 miles my Sierra started burning oil. At 52,000 miles the ABS/Traction Control/BRAKE lamps lit up in the dash. Better than my Doctor, I was able to take the truck in for an exam that week. Needed an ABS MODULE replacement. Also had the airbag replacement that has been promised for years. Jim Ellis replaced some engine parts that should correct the oil burning, at GMs expense. Thanks. Had my truck back in just a few days and John Jones kept me informed of progress at all times. A very satisfying experience for me.

The Service team at Jim Ellis Buick GMC are superb. The HVAC console stopped working and need to find a place to get it fixed quickly. Searching in Google I came across with this dealership. The team informed that a new console needed to be ordered. They were very clear in the communication and they set clear expectations how long the job will take to be completed. They even provided me with a rental car to cover an extra day required to complete the job. I’m very thankful for the job well done and the friendship offered while doing the service on my car. I scheduled my car to be serviced for a check engine light. I was told that nothing was found. The team there did find something about a coolant leak and replaced that. After picking the car up on Saturday morning everything seemed fine. No check engine light at this time. The next day (Sunday) night I was driving the car and the check engine light came back on. I reached out about this and was told that this would be looked at the next time I bring the car in for the recall work. I have issues with driving the car with the check engine light on.

Every time I come to this dealership the customer service is great. Blake and Brady are wonderful and met all my needs when purchasing my new car. Recently went there for a new tire and the service was great from calling to set up my appointment to getting my tire changed. They made sure my tire was in stock before even letting me come up there and went above and beyond to meet my needs. Great dealership!

My my, how times have changed !! It used to be that when you bought a new vehicle from a dealership and took it in for service, they would wash it for you. Guess they dont do that anymore ! I still have them 5 stars at this dealership. Much better than the dealership I was going too, even though its out of my way !

The only star that I would give this dealership would be the pleasant salesman/ manager. Everything else was a disaster. Miscommunication on several occasions. Attention to detail was non existent, to the extant that I was sold the wrong vehicle. Over 3 weeks for the dealership to pay off my previous vehicle loan. And when I have tried to reach out to the dealership and speak with management no calls were answered and no return phone calls. I would never recommend anyone to do business with any Jim Ellis dealership. I have purchased cars from several dealerships and NEVER have I have experienced such chaos. If I could rewind time so that I never had this experience I absolutely would.

I was searching for a hard to get truck and the staff was incredibly helpful in getting me one. They were very friendly, respectful and honest. Highly recommend this dealership. Poor customer service. I ordered an emblem online and decided to have it delivered to their location since it was convenient. However, after 2 months I decided to check and see what was going on as I had never received a call or an email letting me know it had arrived. I called and the guy who answered tried to play it off saying he was going to actually call me today to let me know it had arrived. Once I arrived to pick it up there was no apology on the parts department for their failure to communicate to me. The man who attended to me didn’t even say thank you and was visibly annoyed with me. Honestly just go to a different GMC location. In the past when I have ordered parts I have had it delivered to the one in Marietta and they are on point with communication.

The technicians here are amazing! Always get wonderful work done on our Yukon. The service advisors and managers however definitely don’t care about their workers nor seem to know what they are talking about. Last month my husband and I have literally watched one guy work on every car that came in for 4 hours while I was waiting on our Yukon. No one helped him out and they kept bringing him more and more with no regard or care. You guys should hire more people and make sure you take care of the wonderful technicians you have!!!

He was up front and honest about the price, the options available to us and so easy to work with. The finance process was also very easy as we closed out. My wife and I arrived at you used car lot at Peachtree Industrial location, we knew what we wanted. We were met by Samual, we both liked him right away. After deciding to look at new in lieu of used he proceed to escort us to the new lot.Our car was on the end of the row as we in drove in, it looked great. Sam allowed us to test drive, which was also great. While we we test driving, your appraisal group decided on a price(which I though was a little low but fair). We paid cash, all the paperwork was completed and we were on our way in less than 90 minutes. I would rate it a 10 on our satisfaction scale. I brought the title over the following day and we were done. Sam did a great job in representing Jim Ellis Buick. It was also funny, after the sale prior to leaving we found out Sam was actually our neighbor. We really love the car. Good job! Ron

Sam is the man! He has taken care of us from beginning to end. We loved a used car that they had just received 5 days prior. In addition to their protocol of a stringent inspection, he made sure we had new tires, brakes, and a new windshield because the existing one had a rock ding in it. It took a few more days than expected so Sam personally delivered a loaner car and personally delivered my car today! We’ll definitely go back Tom see him when my husband is ready to purchase his new truck. Thanks Sam!

Let me start off by saying that the Jim Ellis Buick service center is top notch! This dealership just happened to be much closer than my primary dealership, when I needed an emergency fix for my brake caliper. They had a great number of other cars to service & needed to keep mine for a few days. I absolutely appreciated their follow up each day until it was completely fixed. They even got a Lyft for me to pick up my car. Ill certainly be making them my primary dealership from now on. Ask for John J.J if you need service. Hes personable, knowledgeable and his customer service was beyond my expectation.

My wife went in on a Friday and made a deal for a used car. She was told it still needed to be run through their check up and they would give us a call after. They called on Monday afternoon and said it was all checked out and good. We said we’d be in first thing Tuesday to finish the purchase. We got a text a couple hours later saying they had sold it. They couldn’t even be bothered to call her. She had a written and initialed deal as seen in the photo. Apparently agreements don’t mean anything at Jim Ellis. Total sleaze move.

On day one I called to inquire about a car I saw online and Ian answered the phone. He assured me he would take good care of me and that he did. He is very attentive to what you are looking for and will make it happen. He made me feel like I was the only person in the building. Young, vibrant, and a go getter!! What he doesnt know about the car he will search the information and find out. I never doubted for a moment that I wasnt in good hands. Even when it was closing hours he waiting right there until I signed all my papers. I so happy he got the sale and if you want Top Status treatment ask for Ian. Oh, when I picked up the car the gas was at a 1/2 tank and he took me to the gas station and filled up my new 2021 baby. Im so pleased and you will be too.

I will not do business at this location again. I went for an engine diagnostic. I was assigned to one of their employees who was going to be out of town the whole week, so he was not available to assist me. The location was very short staffed and did not communicate well with me about the status of my car. They also quoted prices for repairs that were much too expensive, and even charged for the diagnostic.

Okay, I recently had a wheel alignment done at Jim Ellis GMC. On the way home I noticed the steering wheel wasn’t centered which was causing a drift. I called the service manager Ted Weinsziehr who without hesitation set up another appointment. After the alignment was done I got in a straight lane on I-285 and set the wheel straight. I took my hands off the wheel and my Yukon almost drove itself. That’s what I call the epitome of customer care and customer service!!!!!! The dealer was to install a bed cover purchased at the time the truck was purchased on 5/31/21. I dropped the vehicle off on a Friday morning for same day install. Got a call later that day that the installation was actually perfomed by another company and the truck would not be ready until Monday. The service department should have known that fact ahead of time. They did provide a loaner vehicle, which I appreciated. I picked my truck up on the following Tuesday afternoon and drove it home. The check engine light came on Wednesday morning. The truck only has 116 total miles on it! I have to return the truck again on Saturday for service/repairs. We’ll see how that goes.There are also a few things the dealer promised that would happen that did not occur. They are not very big things but it is disappointing when companies don’t do what they say they are going to do.Honestly, I can’t recommend this dealer until I see the outcome of Saturday’s return to the dealership for repairs.

I’ve never been that impressed with your service. From the parts department to the service department, your people are really not that friendly and welcoming. They all seem to just be going through the motions. You should take a play out of Lexus, BMW or Chick Fil A’s playbook. Greet and treat your customers with delight and you’ll have customers for life. Provide A+ service and they’ll keep coming back. Little things like vacuuming and washing a customers car after it’s being serviced goes a long way and it’s so simple. GMC dealers never do this.The only reason I come to the dealership is bc it’s closest to my home. I may reconsider that in the future.

Worst experience buying a truck I have ever had. I purchased a brand new 2021 Yukon Denali. Communication was the worst, they probably didnt care since I was an out of state buyer. Nicole my sales person was useless, horrible attitude and had to chase her down to get questions answered. When the truck was delivered to me, the forgot to put in the temp tag so for 3 days, I could not drive the vehicle. They also forgot the headphones. When they finally did ship the headphones to me, they were the wrong ones. When I tried calling Dwight and the other Sales manager, I received no call back. Again, I had to keep calling. This is why car salesman get a bad reputation because of companies like this. Its called customer service and you would take a training class because this dealership is severely lacking. Never ever buy a car or truck from this dealership. Will be letting GM know as well about this horrible experience

I purchased a used vehicle this week. My husband drove the car on Tuesday and there was a clicking noise. He was told it would be repaired. I called on Wednesday and spoke to our salesperson, Sam. He said the car was ready, the issue had been corrected and told me I could come purchase the car. When we arrived Sam said the car was not ready but he would personally deliver it to me that evening, the following morning at the latest. I did move forward with the purchase. The next day around 11 AM my husband called to see if the car was ready. Sam told him no and it could be 1-2 more days. WHAT? I called and spoke with the Sales Manager, Keith. I did have the car delivered to my home within the next 5 hours. Thus the 2 star rating thanks to Keith.As I am driving my new car I see ants crawling over the dashboard. For 2 days I have been spraying and wiping the car down to get rid of the ants. I did call and leave a message for Keith to let him know and never heard anything back. I didnt expect much at this point but at a minimum an apology. Very disappointing experience overall. I guess the good news is so far the car is great.I called as directed below. I had no idea who to ask for so I was transferred around to people that had no clue. Im pretty sure if anyone cared my phone number would be in your files.

My experience there was just amazing. Mind you i never got a car from a dealership before and I came in with an unrealistic expectations, but they was nice enough to tell me.They worked super hard to find me a 3 row SUV, and just when i thought it was out of my reach, out of my price, and feeling like i wasnt going to get a 3 row SUV. They found it and it was everything i wanted and more. Im so thankful they worked as hard as they did to get me a SUV and drive off the lot the same day. I liked the car but felt very underwhelmed by the dealer, to the point that I almost decided on a different car.At the last minute I decided to reach out to a few other dealers. The other day I dropped my truck off because it wasnt running well. I wanted a diagnosis. They charged me about 150 dollars. They told me they wanted 2500 dollars to take care of a problem that I know costs around 1500 dollars so I decided to have my truck towed back home until I find another mechanic. My truck was returned to me not even starting. I believe my truck was purposefully damaged and Im working on seeing if I can sue. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I drove the truck up there asking for help and they returned it not working. I want to sue tbh Im in the process of seeing if this is even legal.

We recently had a airbag issue replaced at the dealership that this experience, once again, confirmed why I dont go to Jim Ellis GMC for service. The airbag situation was ok overall. They were late in terms of getting the car out. We also asked about swapping out a Oil Pressure sensor and respective filter. I had both correct parts in hand. My wife was the one that dropped off the car and I asked her to get a quote for the swap. They then called her back and I answered the phone and they quoted $600 to swap the oil pressure switch (3.5 hours). This once again confirms that dealerships take advantage of women. I asked if he was serious. The rep confirmed. I took it to Rod down the street and he charged me $45 for the swap. Poor poor poor.

Everything went great. Except during the drop off, we allowed the dealership to pick up our car at home and return it to us.While we are grateful for this the gentleman dropping off the car came to the door, I presume for a tip. We specifically asked for no contact. This this was very frustrating. Other than that we love the dealership service department and will use them again on our next service.

My vehicle inspection went great. They found one issue. I’ve been trying to get it fixed for a few weeks now but can get any response from the service department on the warranty. I text the service guy every other day but it hit or miss if he responds.

I also met the service manager, Brandon Cannon, To discuss a long-standing problem with this vehicle. It was very professional, listened and understood the problem and said he would get back with me which is what I expect.

Courteous. Efficient. The reason why I came to begin with is the on again off again rear driver side lights. I know they are off at times because a Dunwoody police officer told me. I have seen them off. But they worked when the car was with you which resulted in : nothing could be done. I’m not complaining. Just narrating.
