Brought my 30 year old wedding dress to TK Bridal to be altered for my daughter. She wanted to change so much that I was worried. Norma Jean worked on it and she was just incredible throughout the whole process. She took the bride’s ideas and my hesitation, and created just an incredible dress. Of all the wonderful people we met and businesses we worked with as we planned our wedding, I am most grateful for the relationship we developed with TK Bridal. It was an honor to wear a custom dress by this incredibly talented team!I had been struggling to find what seems like a fairly classic style: an A-line with a high neck, unpleated skirt, and buttons down the train. I was also concerned that if I bought a ready-made dress, I’d have to deal with significant alterations.Norma, Linda, and Conrad were so kind, personable, and welcoming. Norma listened carefully to my ideas and made a draft of the design, and Linda gave fantastic suggestions and input. We were delighted by how the pattern turned out, and those feelings only strengthened when we came back for the first fitting in the actual material: a beautiful 100% silk mikado. My dress needed major alterations, had very intricate beading, and about 2 weeks before my wedding day. Im amazed by the work of the seamstresses at TK Bridal. TK Bridal made me the most beautiful retro style dress. I was going for a 1940s courthouse war bride look. They captured the essence of the period perfectly between style, design, & fabric. We had a Sinatra style Christmas party and surprised our family with a wedding ceremony; the dress was a huge hit with our guests. My seamstress (Linda) as well as all the TK Bridal associates were delightful to work with and made the entire creation very special for me.

Went to TK to have a bridesmaid dress altered. They were wonderful to work with as far as scheduling as well as the alteration service. They did great work and had a quick turnaround. My dress turned out great!

The women who tailor the dresses here are absolute creative geniuses. I bought a beautiful dress at another shop in a different town and wasnt completely happy with it after a few weeks. I took it to TK Bridal, and they remade the entire top half, which would have required very advanced sewing skills to work with, and I couldnt have designed or created something better myself. Not only that, but she was working on a time crunch, the price was amazing for the work they put into it, and she even saved the extra lace for me to make a garter with! Picking it up in a couple days after a few final touches. I could not be happier!!!

TK Bridal and Alterations literally saved my wedding day!I had brought my dress in to a local shop for alterations where it was absolutely DESTROYED. Panicked, I looked for one of the top rated bridal alterations places in Atlanta and found TK Bridal. They were super accommodating and were able to fit me and my mangled dress in for an appointment. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They assured me that my dress was mendable and that we had plenty of time to get everything right (this was less than one month before the wedding).I put my full trust in them and they did not disappoint. I needed the bust and waist taken in, the band around my waist taken in, realignment of the buttons on my keyhole back, and to repair the popped-up lining and uneven lines around my keyhole back left by the previous alterations place. On my follow up appointment, my dress fit perfectly. They literally got everything right the first time I saw them. My mother, sister, and I were so impressed! I brought my veil into them and they were able to trim it to compliment my train. For a small fee they were even able to get it smoothed out and pressed in-house so I didnt have to worry about running around town to get my dress 100% ready for the big day.I am so pleased I trusted TK Bridal with my dress. TK Bridal provided the best dress-shopping experience! Ms. Norma (the sales lady) called me a day before my appointment to get information about my preferences. When I arrived, she had dressed on display that catered to my vision, which I described over the phone.Before visiting TK, I never considered a custom gown because I (1) wanted to try gowns off the rack rather than getting a gown I created without seeing how it looked on me and (2) I thought a custom dress would be expensive. However, I found their custom-dress offerings to be the best process. Ms. Norma took some of my favorite aspects of different dresses and combined them into one look for me and I was still able to try the gowns to see how several details of different dressed looked together -- I was amazed at this method. I had been to other boutiques and services were limited to what was on the rack (unless I wanted to pay an arm and a leg for alterations).Needless to say, my Gown Gang (the people I brought with me), the team at TK, and myself literally put together my dream dress -- piece by piece... If I lived in the Atlanta area I would be at TK Bridals all the time for my formal needs. Unfortunately, I live in Indianapolis, IN and the time I was only able to visit TK Bridal a few years ago due to my Aunt & Uncles wedding. TK Bridal is so professional!! TK Bridal was able to take my measurements and create my bridesmaid gown. When I arrived to Atlanta a few days before the wedding they were able to make alterations and I was all set for my Aunt & Uncles wedding. Thank you TK Bridal for everything! My gown required bodice shortening and some intricate lacework so I was concerned about how the final product would look (and, specifically, whether it would be clear that it was altered) and the team at TK Bridal executed the changes flawlessly! I was referred here by Winnie Couture. I loved to see that it is a Black owned business as I tried to shop Black for as many of my wedding needs as I could. Making an appointment was easy. The owner assisted my mom and I in store. We looked at a few of the dresses they had for sale for her mother of the bride dress although we did not see one she liked. They did have a nice selection though. The ladies who helped in the dressing area were nice although it was a bit hot back there. They do have an oscillating fan. When I picked up my dress, it had been taken in too much so they kept it another week to let it out a bit at no extra charge. Parking is easy and I would recommend for bridal alterations.

Ms. Pansy was lovely! She made me feel comfortable when I brought my wedding dress in for alterations and I could tell that she aimed for perfection when I came to pick it up three months later. The whole company was friendly and helpful!

They scheduled multiple appointments and for each visit, they ensured that the fit was just right. About a month before my wedding, I went in for my last visit and we found out I needed an extra 1 inch taken in. They were able to do it and on my wedding day my dress fit perfectly! It wasnt too long and for a strapless dress, it didnt fall down either. The customer service is beyond exceptional! I would go back and I would only recommend TK Bridal & Alterations.

All I can say is WOW! For religious reasons I needed a modest wedding dress which isnt easy to find. Tk took my size 10 not modest wedding dress and turned it into a size two beautiful modest gown! The customer service and experience was amazing! I seriously cannot recommend them enough!!!

I had ordered my wedding dress on Etsy from China and it was beautiful but needed alterations. TK Bridal did a wonderful job making the dress look like a million bucks at a reasonable cost. I did not bring the dress in until a month and half before the wedding and they handled everything in a timely manner and delivered everything they promised while going above and beyond. Ms. Linda is the best! Im getting married in 2 weeks and had a dress I LOVED when I bought it from a local shop in June and received in November. When the time came to alter, we ran into several frustrating issues with how the dress was made. I was not happy with how it was fitting and Ms. Linda did everything she possibly could to ensure she made it as perfect as humanly possible and worked until I was happy. We only had a little time and she made my dress priority, even meeting me one day, working on it that night, and even meeting me again the next day when she was done. I really appreciate her and her fantastic work, and would recommend her to everyone!

TK Bridal is absolutely amazing!! I ordered my gown from Winnie Couture who ended up having to re-make the dress due to wrong custom measurements. The suggest I head to TK Bridal for alterations. I ordered the dress in a sample size the second time knowing it would need many alternations. I was convinced that no one could alter this dress. However, TK BRIAL TO THE RESCUE!!I needed 4 fittings.( yes I needed that many alterations. The seamstress was absolutely amazing. She knew exactly what needed to be done. We had sleeves sewn on ( they were detachable at first, but decided it was better to sew in), padding added, mesh back was pulled tighter, and much more. Every single thing was perfect when I picked up my dress.I would highly recommend them!

Had a bridesmaids dress made for my daughter who lived out of state and wasnt able to try on the dress until the day before of the wedding. A few alterations had to be done and TK was able to do the alterations on the spot and the dress was ready before Rehearsal dinner so that was great.

I came in and gave the receptionist my name and informed him that I had an alterations appointment scheduled at nine. He found my name right away and took me to the back. I met the seamstress and her assistant .They quickly were able to get the dress pinned in a way that it fit nicely and took down the date when I needed the dress finished. The seamstress took a picture for me, so I could show my family members. They told me that my dress would be finished three weeks before I absolutely needed it, and the alterations cost a very fair price. All the staff was excellent and my experience was very organized and efficient. I will change my review to five stars when I get my dress completed!

My daughter had a custom prom dress made at TK Bridal & Alterations it was fabulous. I ordered my wedding dress from a store in Augusta, and they ordered the wrong size! However, TK Designs in Atlanta was a life saver. I called TK Designs and explained my issue, and the man on the phone was very professional and kept a very calm and good temperament with me throughout the discussion. He booked me for an appointment immediately within a day. I walked into TK Designs and was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the shop. The also have cocktail dresses, veils, shoes, and accessories for sale. I was greeted by the same man who I spoke with on the phone. He introduced me to Linda, who I believe is the head seamstress. Once I tried on the dress, Linda took one look and immediately knew what to do. Linda had my alterations completed in a few days and I was very relieved when I tried on my dress the second time.Also - on the night before my wedding, I was running around with errands and could not make it to the shop to pick up my dress. However, I called the shop and they let my cousins pick up the dress right at closing time. TK Designs was very pleasant throughout the entire process and very easy to work with. I love the professionalism, customer service, and high quality of work.I now take all my pants there for alterations and any other alterations that I may need in the future will go to TK Designs.

TK Bridal was the third bridal shop I visited on a busy Saturday. I had fallen in love with one of their dresses online and made the mistake of not booking my appointment at TK Bridal first. Every dress I tried on elsewhere fell short of my vision. Ms. Norma and Ms. Linda were the best! Ms. Normas enthusiastic and happy countenance made me feel welcome. I didnt once feel like she was just trying to just sell me a dress, but rather make sure I found the perfect one. I absolutely love TK Bridal !! I purchased my wedding gown from Winnie Couture, in which I only need minimal alterations. Winnie Couture and my awesome wedding planner Mrs. Sabrina Anthony suggested we get the dress altered at TK. When we walked in they were friendly and took me right away to the back to get started. I first had my dress taken in a bit then I came back a couple weeks later to see how it fit so they could continue with the other alterations. The seamstress was very nice, great personality, and she was amazing !!! My dress was beautiful on me before but the day my alterations were all done and I tried it on, OMGGGG it was beautiful on me and fit me like a glove ! They are very professional and take their time in making sure your gown is perfect just like you want it ! The shop is always nice and clean! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get alterations for their wedding and even for regular alterations as well! I’ve also have had a pair of pants recently hemmed at TK! Definitely will be using them from now on!

My daughter had her wedding dress altered there. The people were not friendly very poor customer service and we had to constantly remind them of what they were supposed to do. They do not greet you when you walk in nor do they give comment when you leave.

They made my wedding dress. Not a traditional wedding gown, i brought a picture from a magazine of an a-line designer dress which only showed the front. They designed the back according to my requests. They also made a custom hand sewn pearl beaded belt. I think the belt took longer than the dress and was the perfect accessory. My only problem, everything was ready 2 days before my wedding and there was a fit issue at the final fitting. I explained the problem and was told it wouldn’t be an issue once I had on my wedding lingerie. I felt dismissed regarding the issue. During my entire serimony, the shoulder and sleeve kept falling off unless I stood in a weird uncomfortable position and my niece who was behind me had to keep pulling it up back onto my shoulder. It was a nuisance. My dress was beautiful and the ladies do amazing work. I would absolutely recommend them. At final fitting, make sure you wear the dress for a while, sitting, standing and walking around. Also, take your complete wedding outfit with you.

Well Im a couple months late on writing this review, but thats only because I was waiting for my wedding pictures to come in so that I could show everyone how much of an amazing job TK Bridal did! They are absolutely the best alterations place to go to. I absolutely love the people and the environment. Everyone is so nice and they make sure that you leave 100% satisfied. I also love that every time I went in they were playing gospel music which makes you feel at peace and that you made the right decision by going there. I purchased my dress from Winnie Couture and it was a custom dress that I fell in love with at first, that is until I received it only to realize it was made wrong! The bodice wasnt the same bodice I tried on in the store and the skirt was put on way to high and it was also 2 sizes to big. The ladies at TK Bridal also noticed the mistakes and made sure to do whatever it took to make it the dress I fell in love with at first (despite the fact that Winnie Couture didnt want to take any responsibility for their mistakes). I was freaking out because my wedding was only 27 days away at that point and I hated my dress! But I ended up getting a new bodice and the ladies at TK Bridal constructed my dress to look and fit exactly how I had always imagined it. They were so nice and understanding through all of them my frustration and tears. I wouldnt recommend any other company! TK Bridal is THE BEST! Thank you guys for making me look beautiful on my special day!

I wanted to wear my grandmothers and mothers wedding dress but needed it to be remade. I trusted them with this 54 year old dress and Linda created the most beautiful, perfect dress, unlike any Ive seen! She truly is the best at what she does and I highly recommend her!

I cant say enough about how wonderful they are! I ordered a wedding dress from another store and it didnt fit at all. It also arrived only 5 days before my wedding! The store I purchased it from wasnt helpful so I began searching for alternatives and discovered TK Bridal. They were so helpful and accommodating and even stayed late to make sure I had everything I needed (and would have my dress ready in 3 days)! They also had BEAUTIFUL dresses at the store. Honestly, if I could do it all over again I would have purchased a dress from them to begin with. If you are considering where to buy a dress or have it altered, TK Bridal is by far the best choice!

My dress needed to be altered within 3 weeks and they got it done! Very professional and great customer service. They take their time with you and do not make you feel rushed. Any adjustments needed they will figure out the best way to make it happen for you. Cost is a pricey, but when I saw my dress, all that is forgotten. I would recommend!

If you are looking for alterations I’m sure you will find great quality. But if by chance you are looking to buy an overpriced, out of season bridal gown here is the place for you. Unfortunately my experience was not great. The sales women Norma started out very lovely, but you can definitely tell it was all about the sale and not about finding the right dress. I bought my gown here and it was probably the worst experience I had during my wedding planning. I was told alterations would be free when I purchased the dress and also told it would be pressed and ready to go for pick up instead as I neared my wedding day, they tacked on alteration fees last minute and told me that was not included in the “deal” I got for my gown. Upon pick up at my last fitting Conrad attempted to hand me my dress dingy and wrinkled When I asked about it he told me that it did not need to be cleaned. Overall I would not recommend TK Bridal.

I cannot say enough about the level of service. I called the day before and they were able to fit us in, on a very busy Saturday. This was the 2nd wedding shop we went to and Ms. Norma saved the day with her impeccable service and gracious demeanor. Thank you Ms. Norma and Ms. Linda!

My dress is currently being altered, will update after I get it back but so far, an AMAZING experience. Conrad was so nice, took my dress from me as soon as I walked in (an hour before my appointment). Ms. Linda walked immediately out and began to get the dress out of the bag. She pinned and re-pinned to get the dress just right. She is honoring my wish to save the tulle afterwards to make a veil out of it. So far, I couldnt be happier. Ready to get it back!

I came here with a bridesmaids dress and my own wedding dress, I was overall not thrilled with my experience and would not recommend coming here.The bridesmaids dress I brought in needed to be hemmed and have the straps taken up (it was a Show Me Your MuMu dress, very loose and flowy). The hemming portion went fine. To get the straps to look good they had to re-alter it 3 times and the last time I came to pick it up (the week of the event) they had to do alterations on-the-fly while I waited because the material around the bust will still not sitting flat. I appreciated the effort and work to get the dress ready in the end, but it was not ideal to have to return so many times for the same issue. The last time I was there they informed me I should have sized up the dress to have more material to work with in alteration, but I wish they had said that before we cut the tags off and started hemming.My wedding dress went okay, it only needed minor alterations. I had them put on all new buttons up the back of my dress, and they miscounted and put on 1 fewer buttons than I had button holes so my friends had to help me pin down the extra loop on my wedding day so it didnt stick out among the fastened buttons.

I went to TK Designs to have my prom dress made and I knew it was far-fetched because if they agreed they would only have less than 20 days to make it. My experience at here was perfection; they brought my idea to life and they gave me hope that everything would all work out. The owner and the workers are marvelous and helpful so I wanted to write this review as a show of my appreciation.
