I literally cannot say enough about custom bridal modifications. From adding small pieces of memories to my daughters gown to adding boning to her gown...I’m nearly speechless. My mother made her own wedding gown so I have an idea of what goes into this. The craftsmanship and the diligence that she applies is truly an art and I will forever be grateful for how she made my daughter feel in her dress. She took my daughter’s wedding dress and made the dress present my daughter instead of my daughter presenting the dress.

Loved working with Melissa! Was recommended by 2 close friends whose wedding dresses she altered. She was so easy to schedule, would get you in & out quickly, and would combine appointments (w/ friends, mom for her dress, etc) as needed. My dress needed more alterations than anticipated and she kept it stored for an extra year due to Covid, and she never charged us more. And shes just great to be around and will keep you grounded through the sometimes stressful process!!

Melissa is AMAZING! I cannot thank her enough. My body type is a bit hard to dress and I was very nervous that my wedding dress wouldnt fit correctly no matter what we did to it. She was so comforting and reassuring from day one that we would get it right, and she absolutely came through on that promise. She made sure that every last detail was perfect so that I could feel confident and comfortable on my wedding day. I was also super nervous about pricing, and I felt that Melissas pricing was completely reasonable- she had a lot of work to do and the price ended up being basically exactly what I would have expected it to be. Either way, I probably would have found a way to pay any amount for the sake of having such quality work done, and having it done by someone who was so kind and compassionate. You can tell that Melissa enjoys what she does, really wants to help you out, make you feel great on your big day, and is passionate about her work. Melissa was all I could hope for from an alterations specialist for my wedding day! I had two dresses--one fittted gown that had a tiny bit of damage, and needed to be both let out, taken in, hemmed, and an accessory added, and a reception dress that needed more minor adjustments. I went to Melissa from a friends recommendation kind of freaking out, because I could barely zip my dress and in general felt like it made me look very potato-like. She instantly reassured me/calmed be down and was able to make tons of alterations with such a quick turnaround time. The dress ended up fitting absolutely perfectly, made me feel like a complete goddess, and every step of the alterations process Melissa made me feel totally at ease. I had every confidence that when she suggested something it was because it was what was best for me, my comfort, and my wallet (She even told me that some of the alterations for my reception dress were not necessary, and she was completely right!).I felt extremely confident in both of my dresses, both from a looks perspective and from a modesty perspective (one was strapless and the other was surplice, and I didnt have to keep checking/pulling either dress up despite my smaller chest--a true testament to the fit!)I honestly cant recommend Melissa enough, and even if her prices werent very reasonable, I would still recommend her because her demeaner and the quality of her work are worth their weight in gold.
