Dekalb Tire saved me when I had no other options! I came in an hour before closing with a broken tire valve that needed a replacement. Although there were no usual mechanics on the clock this late, Mckail did me a huge huge favor, which he was not at all obligated to do, by agreeing to help me out and fix my tire. Otherwise, I would have had to drive 90-100 miles to get home on the highway, on my small spare tire, going under 50mph. Mckail and store manager Tile were so kind and helpful, I can’t recommend their services enough. Thank you so much Mckail and Tile!

Wanted 30 dollars to remove a screw in my tire. Said 30 minutes. Okay so after 45 minutes and watching 4 tire techs sit around joking and talking, I ask how much longer. He responded minimal 30 more minutes. I demanded my keys and left. Another customer came to pickup his car that he had made a appointment earlier in the week. The man was upset that the car was exactly where he parked it for two days before. I said maybe it just put back in the same spot. We laughed and joked about it. Then the the cashier explains that the car was going to have to spend another day, didnt have time to change his oil. He demanded his key and left. I dont recommend any one to go to this place.

Wow. I pulled up after work with a nail in my tire. The staff was very helpful, told me they could plug it, and recommended some new wiper blades for me. Since it took longer than expected, they fixed the tire free of charge! Tile is a phenomenal manager and a great person. Will definitely be back.

Came in researching some new tires, and find out from Lance they would not honor my previous Life Time Alignment warranty with Dekalb Tires. Lance was nice and all... but I find it mind boggling, how a company with practically no cars in the parking lot, most bays empty, and they turn away a 30+ yr customer who was spending $800+ with them ... then I go over to Discount Tire, and see their parking lot is packed, and jammin with business. Hoping somebody more reputable buys DT out soon.

Spent a week trying to get the right tire from Costco. The guy working there told me about Mavis Dekalb Tire. Oh my gosh, I walked in, ordered the tire and had it put on the next morning. Great staff, the techs are fast and efficient.

Came in without appointment for tire repair (slow leak). They attended me quickly. Did not realize how bad my tires actually were and unevenly worn. They showed me. So just changed the plan and replaced the tires. They quickly did that and for a really good price. Good people. Highly recommend

I most recently visited Dekalb Tire at 6179 Roswell Rd and was not only lied to but also threatened by the manager Marquese. Over the weekend I purchased a brand new car and wanted to upgrade my wheels and tires. While changing my wheels, they damaged two of them. They promised to replace the wheels at no charge. Upon not getting a response, I decided to go back to the establishment and it was at that time Marquese notified me that he would not replace the tires and wheels because his district manager Michael said so. He was also verbally abusive and he smelled as if he had been drinking alcohol all morning while slurring his words. I ended up calling the police and filing an official report because of his threat to harm me. I repeat, please be careful as he is dangerous, a liar and a thief. His name is Marquese Bacon and Im disappointed in Mavis for his employment.Stay far away!

The only redeeming quality about this place is Marquise was nice to deal with.I went to this place to get new breaks on my car and I saw they were advertising a deal. So I thought double win. Boy was I wrong. As they were changing the breaks and they informed me I would need new rotors, which I figured I would so I believed them. New front and back breaks along with rotors were put on my car for $750. I drove my car off the lot and after about 25 minutes of driving any time I would hit the breaks I would hear this loud screeching noise. I took my car back the following day and they recommended I keep driving it and it would go away. Fine.I drove my car for several weeks and the noise did not go away, brought my car back to be serviced and they did not have a break technician coming in that day. What Tire and Automotive shop doesn’t have someone who can work on breaks at all times?? I was told I could come back in two days and someone would look at it.I come back right when they open and they said it would be a hour. So I waited, 4 hours later my car was finished and the technician said nothing was wrong. I explained to him that you can still hear the breaks screeching and something needs to be fixed. Well nothing was.I called weeks later and asked what they can do for me to fix this issue and the manager explained they will put on new breaks and rotors on free of charge and that should fix the issue.I bring my car back on the day they tell me, to have my car serviced and there was no break technician again. At this point I was extremely frustrated for the amount of time I have wasted on poor service. They tell me to come back another day so reluctantly I do.Another 4+ hours later they put new breaks and rotors on and said that my car should be good to go. I noticed that my car had the same mileage on it when I dropped it off so I know they didn’t take it for a test drive, even though they said that they did. Immediately when I drove my car away the screeching happened again.I decided to take it to my guys who always do my breaks and they let me know they put extremely cheap breaks on my car and that what was causing the noise. I gladly got my break pads serviced by them and no more noise.I figured I would give Dekalb tire a chance since they had good reviews, but I was greatly mislead. Nice people, but clearly they take the cheap way out on fixing your vehicle.

They called me twice to confirm my appointment - once the day before and once an hour before the appointment. When I got there, they had me wait over an hour before telling me that the part they ordered for my car had not been delivered yet. I dont understand why this couldnt have been told to me when I confirmed my appointment or even when I first came in so I wouldnt be sitting around.I asked the employee how long would it take for the delivery to come in and if I should leave and come back later. The employee said I dont know and mumbled something else. When I told him I didnt hear him and asked to repeat what he said, I was completely ignored. He literally acted like I wasnt standing in front of him asking about what he had said.I was about to just leave when another employee walked in and said my part just came in. After that, it took about 20 minutes and I had my car back. The other employee was much more friendly and communicated with me properly.I dont understand why there was a lack of communication and why they hired customer facing employees that ignore their customers. Or whats the point of confirming an appointment if they dont even have the parts to fix my car when I come in.Also the employee who ignored me didnt wear their mask properly, keeping it around their chin to partially cover their mouth.

I came in, and there was a RUDE customer in front of me, just being mean to the young lady at the counter. After 10 minutes she finally left, and even still, Marie (the worker getting yelled at), talked to me politely, and made sure my car needs were met to the fullest. Couldnt have taken my car to a better place, and I will be coming here again for my car needs.

Not a quality place. I had be breaks changed and had to go back less than 3 weeks later because they were not done correctly. I then had to wait another week for the new breaks to come in only to find out they had been there the entire time ... here we are another 3 weeks later with the second pair of new breaks and they are grinding yet again. I will not take my car there for the third time just to have the breaks go out in another 3 weeks.

Went here for the first time to buy new tires. I would recommend calling the Mavic call center first as they are likely to give you a better deal than in person and get your quote locked into their computers. Prices were pretty cheap but only complaint would be the wait. Took close to 3hrs just to get 4 tires. Lucky its close to a bunch of stores so anyone waiting can find something to do

Hands down - the absolute worst car experience I have EVER had in my life. Let me start off by saying that I rarely leave reviews, but this company sure does deserve one. I will write in bullets to make it easier to read. Please stay far away from this company & location.• I dropped my car off at Dekalb Tire on 5/21/21 at 8:00AM for a simple oil change and battery check.• Fast forward to 4:30PM, I receive a voicemail saying my car is ready to be picked up. Thankfully I called the company back and asked if they had tested my battery and I was told, and I quote, “oh, I’m so glad you called. Your car is actually not ready….uhhh.. they didn’t check the battery, so we just had the mechanics raise your car back up to check it, but I will call you as soon as your car is ready”. *mind you, this has now been a whole day without my car*. Come 6:00PM, I don’t receive ANY call and when I called the store, it was closed and now I couldn’t pick my car up till the next day.•Next day - on 5/22/21 at 8:00AM - I was dropped off at Dekalb to see if my car was ready/pick it up. It was ready, great. I checkout and was on my way home. On my way home I notice a weird noice coming from the exterior of my car so I pull over to see what’s going on. Well — the entire front bottom of my car (plastic part) was completely on the ground and had been dragging along the road — which WAS NEVER THE CONDITION I BROUGHT IT IN.•I called Dekalb furious and they told me to bring my car back in. I did. They raised my car up and noticed all screws to the cover below my car had been removed. The mechanic who worked on my car was there this day and swore he had put the screws back in my car. ha.•The manger comes inside to tell me the above, and that I, personally, would have to go to Audi and get the screws replaced because his employee “swears he put them back into to car.” I about lost it. How am I to be inconvenienced for something a mechanic did to MY car? I’ve now been without a car for a whole day and a half, AND you want me to replace an item YOUR employee lost? In what world does this make sense?• He then tells me they can ‘repair’ it by zip tying the plastic piece to my car as a placeholder until it got fixed. Meanwhile, the mechanic miraculously found 2 of the 4 screws that were missing and after much much back and forth, the manger and I came to agreement that he would order the replacement screws and let me know when they came in.•But now, I feel like this is super shady. An employee lied, the manager was in on it - how do I even know they changed my oil?•Well, I asked they to use the dipstick to measure the oil, which EVERY CAR IN THE WORLD HAS INSTALLED IN THEIR CAR, and they continue to tell me that my car does not have a dipstick so they won’t be able to measure it. I immediately told them they would have to completely drain my oil and re-put it into my car so that I would have proof.•they drained my oil, re-fulled it, screwed 2 of the 4 screws in, and told me they would give me a call when the screws arrived.• FAST FORWARD TO JUNE 22, 2021 - I have YET to receive a call that the screws are in. I have called multiple times and have gotten super shady answers from everyone I’ve talked to on the phone (ie. “The order was placed, but it’s not here” or, “oh they shipped out but won’t get them till tomorrow or the next day, we’ll just let you know.”•At this point, I’m exhausted with this company, their morals, and how they run a business. I have never in my life been so upset with customer service.I hope this review helps others to stay far far away from this branch. Save your time and frustration by going somewhere else.

I had used them multiple times in the past and had good service. Since theyve been purchased by Mavis, the entire level of service has been abysmal. I had a flat tire that I had replaced with the spare donut tire. I called Mavis/Dekalb tire to get a quote, which they provided to me and sounded reasonable. When I arrived they then told me that the price provided to me was from their call center in NY and that the actual price would be higher (bait and switch). When I complained, they said there was nothing they could do and that they have had a lot of people who have had the exact same issue. Due to timing of the day and my need to get my vehicle back up and running I just accepted it.Due to the situation, I had dropped off the blown tire itself to be repaired and was then going to bring the vehicle back to have the repaired tire mounted back on the vehicle. They called me in about a hour to let me know that the tire was ready. I came back with the vehicle and they said it would take about 10 mins. After 40 mins of waiting, I went outside to see what was happening with my vehicle and the technician (who didnt speak any English - but was very nice) motioned to me that he didnt have the lug nut lock for my car. I had forgotten to bring it (which was my mistake). However, they kept me waiting for 40 mins without telling me and they would have kept me waiting even long had I not gone out to inquire.I took the vehicle back home to get the lug nut lock and returned to have them replace the tire. While I watched them put my vehicle up on the lift, from inside the waiting area, I then noticed that they started to take the wrong tire off of the vehicle (not the donut, but one of the perfectly good tires). I had to ask the front office worker what they were doing. He went back and had to correct them. They were working off of the wrong ticket - no idea what they might have done to the car.Once the new tire was on, as I was waiting outside of the bays, watching what they were doing, the technician was unaware of how to put the donut back on the vehicle (it is held underneath the vehicle - a regular Toyota Minivan - by a pully system that you have to engage from within the vehicle). I had to both go in and show him and physically help him put the donut back on - none of the other technicians seemed interested in the fact that a customer was in the bay helping this technician do the work - not to mention, Im sure the liability that the company had with me being in there helping him work on my vehicle.Once this was all done, I went in to pay (they offered no discount due to all the issues I had) and they then proceeded to charge me the wrong amount, due to another account they had in the system for me. If I hadnt caught it, I would have been charged close to double what I was supposed to be charged. They then had to issue a refund and then charge me the correct amount.In total, the level of service was awful. They could not care less that I was a very dissatisfied customer and made no effort to resolve my dissatisfaction and they engaged in a bait and switch regarding the actual pricing.I was going to have two more tires replaced on another vehicle with them, but after this experience called up Discount Tire (where I had also been before, with great service) and received a quote for similar tires for significantly less.For any customers who were used to the good/honest service and pricing that used to come with Dekalb Tire, before they were purchased, I am sorry to say that those days are gone. Beware of the new Mavis Tire!

I called they said my service was going to be $79 they did the work then said $230. I told them that they told me it was going to be $79 and then they recanted on the over charge. Saying that was because they had to align my car. I got down the highway and they didn’t even align it. So you were trying to charge me extra for what again?
