I have been shopping at the Cathedral bookstore for nearly as long as they have existed. I love this store! The staff is always kind, patient, helpful and peaceful. Their buyer is very thoughtful and purchases exquisite reasonably priced jewelry, candles, stuffed animals, books and other items that are not only appropriate for Christians, but for anyone who is looking for a lovely gift for themselves or others. In recent years they have expanded to include a wonderful Hispanic section of spiritual books and other paraphernalia that I have often seen in Mexico and thought at the time, How lovely. I recently discovered that they are also serving as the books store of Christ the King and have a wonderful Catholic selection. If you want to go to a non-hectic, peaceful, beautiful, privately owned gift /book store (there are that many left...too many chain stores!) with its own distinctive personality and a gracious staff...this is the place! I have found that nothing is overpriced here and Im so grateful that they are still around. I pray they never close!

What a beautiful bookstore! So happy to have found a place that offers gifts for Catholics as well as episcopalians. The staff was super friendly I was able to call ahead of time and make sure they had gifts that would be suitable for the event I was looking for and they graciously sent pictures to my phone. I will be back to visit often.

I have found many wonderful books for myself, my family and for my friends in this special bookstore. Beautiful gifts and a great place to spend time browsing for unique, loving treasures.

Love this bookstore; its two buildings, the larger one being the one closer to the street corner.Lots of cool books and you can easily find some hidden treasures in the sales bins outside OR also even in-store! They discount last-of-stock items and probably some overstock too.So so many different genres and books published across several decades...definitely worth checking out if you like reading.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful in locating what I was looking for.

I understand that, though its the holiday season, people want to go home on time. I dont understand a locked door with two minutes to closing. I also dont understand not making eye contact and sneering with your co-worker in front of a wannabe customer. I fail to comprehend the opposite of hospitality. Frankly, this puts me off visiting the actual cathedral, which is a shame; Id wanted to experience their labyrinth.

Great selection, limited quantities. Staff friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. If you want more than 3 of something, they can order it for you if you give a couple weeks notice.
