Today was my first time visiting Slay Beauty. Normally I buy my hair care products at a convenient store near me but today they were closed. Fortunately, my daughter knew of Slay and spoke very highly of them. So off I went. Slay is the place to go for all your hair care products. It’s black owned, professional and clean. Horrible! I was happy to learn there was a beauty supply store near my home and I planned to do business with them when needed. Not anymore, I stopped by briefly to take a friend to this store. Immediately when my friend was entering the store a worker said with an ugly expression, “ tell her she can’t park there.” The worker did not explain why, the worker didn’t greet her with a smile she just went into attitude mode telling her to tell me I can’t park there. I knew my friend would not be in the store long, so I continued to sit in the car at a space in front of the store. Suddenly an angry looking lady came out yelling saying “You gotta move your car, you can’t park there!” I said, “Okay, but maybe put a smile on your face instead of yelling at me, ask nicely, this is a new business right?” You’re Still trying to establish yourself right? She gave a fake smile then replied, “Well she told you to move!” I said first no one needs to TELL me anything, how about asking me if I wouldn’t mind parking somewhere else and explaining why? She said they just laid asphalt and it was still damp, I need to move over there. and she was still yelling and had an angry expression on her face. I moved my car and told her to just be quiet and stop arguing with me.If this business would have just taken the time to put a simple sign up that informed customers of the temporary parking issue and apologized for the troubles, I’m sure they would have received a better response.To the owner, you have a new business that is still in the growing stages and instead of yelling at customers who are there giving you business, you should focus on why you already have a 3 star rating which seems to be rapidly dropping. Lose the drama Queen attitude! DO BETTER!

It’s black owned! I live in little 5 points where the community is thick so finding this gem of a place 9 minutes from Moreland was a dream! The selection is efficient including lashes and boutique style clothing going up to 2XL. The clerk was friendly and very helpful. She gave me some concealer suggestions and compared my experience to her own. I would suggest this place to anybody.

This is one of the best black owned beauty supply stores in the Atlanta/ Buckhead area. The customer service is par excellent and they had everything from mink lashes to braid hair and human hair wigs. Love Love Slay Beauty.

I can verify that this place is actually black woman-owned. Came across many that were lying just to get our dollars. They had what I was looking for, not a huge selection, but we know other races have blocked black beauty supply owners from getting certain products like bundles, so call first to make sure they have what youre looking for. Also, they sell really cute outfits, like jumpsuits and tops.

I tried to call for an inventory check before I came but no one answered the phone. I had to call the barber shop next door to see if they were even open just for them to not have what I was looking for.

Says open at 10. I got here at 10:50. I drove 25 mins just for the business to be closed!!! I wont be returning. I only do business with consistency.

They have everything I need here. Being that I am a natural hair product junkie, I usually have to stop at two different beauty supply stores to give everything I need, but they have it all here. And they are so neat, clean, and organized. I like the fact that they don’t follow you around and make you feel uncomfortable like most beauty supply stores, treating you as if you are a thief.

It says this store opens at 11 a.m. but I sat outside from 10:59 to 11:27 and called and got no answer.

Called the store 3xs times to see if they had edge control and the lady replied yes but she leaves at 2 pm as long as I get there before 1:55PM as I drove 15 minutes to the location. I got there before 1:45 PM and then rudely told me the lady coming she gotta go? i was the only customer and I was not allowed in. I was will never ever come to the location again. Waste of time and energy

Very convenient in the buckhead neighborhood. Great variety of hair products and lashes to pick from. The staff was very nice and helpful!

Beautiful shop

Dont be fooled by the size, this small beauty store is Buckheads hidden treasure. The store is filled with hair products, hair, units, etc...The best part is a beauty salon is located in the back of the store. Talk about a one stop shop!
