Very authentic Jewish Deli. I had the Reuben sandwich and it didnt disappoint. I want to try the chicken pot pie bites but they were sold out. Next in my list 8s the chicken noodle soup.Service was perfect. I ordered online. They have a dedicated online order pickup window. It took no time at all.Great experience!

I couldnt have asked for a better combination of New York tastes and southern flavor. As a native New Yorker whos moved Atlanta Goldbergs is the only place I can find decent lox. This mornings breakfast of a lox bagel with grits and a sweet tea cured my homesickness.

My first time coming I was skeptical but Mr. Barry* with the bald head* had the best southern hospitality and customer service I could ever imagine thank you again for making my first visit wonderful for my cream cheese bagel

We had the pastrami with jalapeno bagel sandwich with fries, and the turkey reuben sandwich on wheat bread.

Sometimes the waiting can be long but the food is always great. I wish they could expand their space to have more seats for their west paces ferry road location. Have been a customer for almost 10 years in this location as well as Ball Park since they opened it. Just love their food.

This is the wrong place to go if there are more than 4 in your group.They accidentally sat a party at the table they had prepared for our group. So instead they stuffed us in a booth and put 2 chairs on one end. They finally relented 2 giving is 2 booths.The food is ok but not great. I ordered a Reuben and I had almost no thousand island so I asked for more on the side. They charged an extra 75 cents for what should have been on the sandwich in the first place.Our server was friendly and took good care of us. That was the only good thing.

I visited early on a Sunday morning and there werent many people in yet. I had a super simple order, plain bagel toasted with butter. It took an unusually long time to get the order. That was the down side of the visit. The bagel was tasty fresh and not like a lot of the others in town. The service was good, the employees pleasant, and the prices reasonable.There is plenty of free parking in the lot.Tasty bagel experience!

Quick, good and good values made my visit an enjoyable one. Whether it’s to dine in or take out the choices are many and diverse. I can’t pass the bagel & egg with latkes and apple sauce. The orange juice always feels freshly squeezed. I’m always in and out in less than 20 minutes, although they have no problem if you want to stay longer and enjoy your coffee. Check out the to go casseroles and other prepared dishes.

They were busy for Fathers Day morning but were efficient and fixed little glitches quickly and pleasantly. The food was good and we were in and out quickly. We will be back when were in town.

Stopped here to pick up food for my coworkers and myself and they forgot a lot of items. My coworker decided to call in to inform the cashier and she tried to argue with him. It’s your responsibility to make sure each customer’s order is right. To have to return because you all failed to have my order together is a major inconvenience. Do better.

This is the dead last time that I come here, pay $10.00 for a sandwich that isnt made correctly and looks like this. It was brought to me made wrong. I stated that there wasnt supposed to be tomato on my sandwich so it was taken back, so they could turn the top piece of bread over, pull the tomato off, leave all of the other slices of tomato on the bottom and give it back to me. Not only is this bad customer service, but it looks like garbage. I will NEVER spend this kind of money for this type of treatment again! And unfortunately, this is not the first time its happened.

Great food a bit pricey but worth it

Back home in Providence, RI, back in the 1960s, I lived on the East Side. The East Side had a significant Jewish population and culture. Some of my best friends in Junior High and High School were Jewish and they introduced me to a bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onions, sliced tomatoes and capers. Goldbergs reminds me of home.

The food is really good. Of course, breakfast is the best but the sandwiches are very good. They even have Dippin Dots for dessert.

Bread pudding was and is my favorite.

We are a party of 8 and the Manager had an attitude not to place us in 2 booths adjacent to each other.

I selected curbside pickup on their online ordering website. I drove all the way to pickup my order. When I got there and called the curbside pickup phone number they informed me they weren’t doing curbside pickup. Then they hung up on me. If you’re worried about the COVID surge or care about getting the bare minimum of customer service (eg, people not straight up hanging up on you), skip this one.

Great for breakfast, lunch, or just a nosh. Great service. All of your favorite deli sandwiches, salads, bagels, and pastries are here. Best egg salad in Atlanta. Everything is fresh and delicious. Whats not to like?

Always Good. Consistently high quality food. I am regular and love their omelettes, chicken salad sandwich and soups. Fast service. Never too loud. Long time servers who know what they are doing. Clean and friendly. Crowded on weekends, but the lines move quickly. Reasonable prices for large portions. Free parking in a busy center. Say hi to Barry usually at the cash register.

Great place to meet friends or dine solo! The menu has some odd pricing structures, so caveat emptor, but the food is excellent.

Less upscale than it used to be, but it still offers a good selection and fine eating places.

Consistent quality, great service, larger portions. On the pricier side of deli fare, but the attentive wait staff makes it seem worth it. Like their other locations the sweets seem overpriced and underwhelm. Many portions are large enough to take half home for a second meal.

While passing through Atlanta we happened upon Goldberg’s for breakfast. Very impressed. Best coffee,excellent variety and quality. Even the napkins were above average. I and my wife highly recommend this restaurant. Love it when we find a good place to eat. 😁👍

The best bagel store/restaurant in Georgia! I wish they had a location in Marietta towards Canton Road. Whenever I am in their area I grab a dozen and freeze them. They freeze well. Their Lox bagel sandwiches are heaven! Staff is always super friendly. Always packed with a wait, but waiting for such awesomeness is not a problem at all.

Been here a lot. Dont know why things have changed. It was great. Fanatic service fanatic food. Now no more fanatic food or fanatic service. We drive from Tennessee to eat here. We will not return. Get a new manager that will replace the new manager you have now. Here is the tall tell sign this place has gone down...there was a lot of bagels left at closing time.

The one on Roswell Road is just way better. I never have to wait extreme amount of times for a pick up order. But at this location the employees here will ignore you for 15 minutes before asking you how you need help. Then pick up orders are always so late to get ready. So late that I often see walk ins receive their food before I receive the food I’ve order 45 minutes ago and I find that to be so poor. Now, I will take that extra 4 mile ride to the location on Roswell Road because I am literally so sick of this location.

We have been getting together here, at Goldbergs, almost every month, for at least the last 15 years. Sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch, always great food and service! I will say, this location is very popular and can be crowded, with a wait, at peak times, so we aim for either 9:30 in the morning or 1:30 in the afternoon, as our schedules allow. We cant imagine meeting anywhere else!

Goldbergs is a classic Atlanta establishment. A great bagel place and a great deli. You can always expect high quality food and the service is also really great. If you need to cater an event, this is a great place to come. I highly recommend Goldbergs to everyone and this location is a great one.

I love this place. Excellent food and great customer service. I have been a customer for 21 yrs now. My favorites are Tuna/Chicken salad and fresh their bagels.

Ive been here now twice and I think its safe to say these folks do the best bagels in Atlanta.For those that dont know Goldbergs has been in Atlanta since 1972 and this location off of West Paces is considered their busiest location. One bite of their bagels you can see why. Its got great texture. Paper thin skin with a hint of crunch. Chewy middle but not so chewy where you feel like youre eating a wet paper towel. Great coffee all day long and friendly serves and customers....you really cant go wrong coming here.

Picked up 2 dozen bagels for my teammates and they were a BIG hit. Most of us were from NYC so we know a good bagel and this place was the best in the area. Staff is awesome and friendly, even at 6:30 am. Amazing place and fantastic bagels. THEY HAVE RAINBOW COOKIES. Youre welcome.

I had a great experience here! I got a salt bagel, toasted, with sundries tomato cream cheese.Hands down the best bagel Ive had in Atlanta. It was chewy but not raw, warm but not over-hot. The cream cheese was flavorful and thick.Service was quick, easy, and to the point. Restaurant is comfortable and clean. It was so inviting, I wanted to sit down and have a cup of coffee, but I had to get to work so I got it to go.This is a fast-faced, New York style shop. The style and tone of the staff reflect that. So keep that in mind before you jump to any conclusions about attitudes. These guys are great. A little confidence goes a long way.Hands down, best bagel shop I know of in the Metro.

Love this place! Brunch is where it truly shines, but the bagels are perfect everyday.I most recently got an omelette, and was blown away.Service is great too!Word of advice, weekend mornings are busy. Plan ahead, and prepare to wait. Or order carry out!

OLD REVIEW. SEE UPDATE BELOW. Been going to Goldbergs for decades. But the takeout has become such a complete disaster that I’ve vowed not to go back. Seemingly every week gets worse. They forgot to make ice again today. They forgot to make cream cheese - so stupid - just do the basics. Checkout is a total s—-show. Even after paying, had to wait 15 minutes for cream cheese. The easiest thing they could possibly do. They should close for a day and re-evaluate what they are doing because all they are doing right now if making their loyal customers angry. It’s so easy to fix.UPDATE. Thank you management for listening! They added 1 additional staffer helping with checkout and everything is running smoothly and efficiently again. The addition of all of the takeout/delivery services had put a major bottleneck into operations that they just needed to figure out. Thank you!

I was traveling to Atlanta for combined business and leisure and was starving. This deli was close to my destination and so I stopped by for breakfast. Everything looked so good, I had trouble deciding but went with the two eggs, potato latkes and toast and was very happy with both the food and the service. Next time Im in the area I will definitely return to this establishment. Thanks guys!

They have a lot of gluten free options for breakfast, burgers, and bagels that taste good. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.The food is the most authentic that we have found. You dont have to explain how to make a proper Rachel or a tuna melt.

Food is generally pretty good, but your order will be wrong or missing something. Always.They just can’t get it together here. Same staff, same issues - no improvement.

If youre a fan of bagels, this place is for you. I think these guys are tied for the best bagel place in Atlanta. I also think their cream cheese is great and they give you a healthy serving of it, unlike the larger chains that barely use any. Its been many years since Ive eaten lunch at a Goldbergs, but as I recall, their sandwiches were very good.

This is two weeks in a row we have had a problem with our order at this Goldbergs. Last week they forgot the cream cheese when we ordered a lox platter. This week we ordered 40 minutes ago for pick up and it’s still not ready. I don’t know what the problem is with this particular location but I have been going to it for over a year and it just keeps getting continually worse. This is what happens when a company rest on its past success!

Bummed I didnt realize this place was amazing until 10 years after I moved to Atlanta. Simple yet so tasty. Hands down the best bagel and cream cheese Ive ever had. The service? Umm, top notch! Every single server is on point and Eric, the manager, gets to know every customer and hes part of why we come in just about every weekend.

Every time I come into town I always go to Goldbergs but today I had a Brooklyn Ruben there was hardly any corn beef on it not enough Thousand Island.The sandwich was cold and the fries were cold. My waitress was very attentive as she is waiting on me before. They were very very busy today so maybe they had Junior Cooks working.

Not just amazing bagels - great food, staff, atmosphere

Everything I look for in a dining experience was here: extensive minu, food quality, freshness, temperatures, presentation, service, cleanliness. Its a locals kind of favorite. Cant go wrong if you just want that total dining experience.

This place is a hidden gem! They have so much more than just bagels. I had the breakfast flat bread and it was amazing. Piled high with eggs, cheese, avacado, and bacon! Everyone was friendly and my coffee cup never ran dry.

Skimpy skimpy! I so much wanted to a good experience as this was my first time eating there. The Ruben wasnt piled high with meat. The onion rings were doughy. The service was ok.

We always love Goldbergs. Best food and bagels. Bagels are pricey though.

An old school delicatessen with in-house made bagels. Good sandwiches and omelets. Be prepared for a wait during lunch hours.

This is my least favorite Goldbergs. Im a NYC Bagel Bigot and Goldbergs, in general, is a decent Bagel. This place cant seem to get the balance of cream cheese right. I get everything with Cream cheese. By default they put cream cheese on like its butter. If I say heavier cream cheese they glob on more cream cheese then bagel. Every other Goldbergs just gets the balance.I go to this one and the one on North Druid hills most often. But my favorite bagel place in Atlanta, after Bagel Palace closed, is Brooklyn Water Bagel.

This place is good but I just can’t get over how much the cooks and people serving the bagels use their bare hands while preparing and serving the food. I’m sure they washed them at some point but I’m sitting here watching them touch money, door / cabinet handles, their hair, their jeans and other things while preparing food. Ughhh

I used to go to another bagel joint that I thought had the best bagels because they claimed to alter their water to be like it was from Brooklyn. The other Bagel joints service went downhill so I tried Goldbergs and Im glad I did! Best bagels in all of Metro ATL. Believe me, I tried most of them in my search for a new bagel spot and nobody compares to Goldbergs.

Great bagels and breakfast options, especially the sandwiches! Be ready to wait and then order quickly on weekends!! If you dare venture here on a Sunday especially! Typical hurry up and wait scenario but in reverse I guess... Wait and hurry up... Yeah, there it is.

Ive been eating at this location 10 yrs plus, they have been on point & very efficient. Today was not that day! Stood in line for over an hour,, while tables stayed open. When we all took upon ourselves to seat ourselves. They were extremely rude! Then after we were FINALLY seated,, we waited for another 20 min before our server even came to our table. Seems to me that they need to get it together, like it once was.Doubt I will be back
