My service representative was extremely friendly and helpful, and my vehicle was finished in a timely matter. Expect a full parking lot, as there’s probably a tremendous logjam of vehicle due to the pandemic. As with my prior experiences with Jim Ellis’s dealership, the staff is great and the work is done right.
Nalin is the best sales person I have worked with. He is a wonderful guy and will be honest to you when you buy. He is not other sales who will sell you more and more random stuff and also fake promises. I am going to recommend all my friend to him if they are planning to buy Hyundai or Genesis.

This particular location is very unprofessional🤮🤮 they have Some of the most incompetent technicians in the state of Georgia. I mention seven months prior that my brakes needed to be done repeatedly and after every visit for oil change and other work that was done on my 2020 Hyundai sonata.Made a visit on the 2nd of October And repeated I needed breaks as of today walked into the dealership this morning and was told I never mentioned I needed a break service And was told I now need rotors which clearly my rotors are in not a perfect condition but A little on the normal wear and tear On both sides I was also told that in order for them to change my brakes they will have to do my rotors and charge me an additional costs which clearly I don’t need. It’s sad as a woman technician that goes out on a day-to-day basis and put motors in transmission is inside of washers dryers and perform other electrical and mechanical service on many different units. I have to still put up with Incompetent men to perform duties and be cheated out of money🤑🤑. I had a wonderful experience at Jim Ellis. I went in not sure that I was going to buy a Hyundai. My salesman, Chuck, was wonderful. I always approach car buying as a battle. Chuck made it relaxing and a conversational exchange. The dealership itself is clean, efficient and well staffed. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and what I didn’t want as well as what I did want. He was very knowledgeable about the inventory, very knowledgeable about the vehicle itself and honest about what he wasn’t sure of that we would have to look up. We took the time to see what matched my needs prior to test driving. He was also patient as I thought through what I wanted to do about the purchase. He was encouraging and offered advice when needed. After deciding to purchase the process was very clean and smooth. Sam in the finance area was also great to work with. Again, nothing is shoved down your throat as it seems to be another dealerships. Advice is given and services offered but your opinion is accepted. Thank you to both of these gentlemen and the kindness of others at the dealership for a very pleasant experience.
My new/used car needed servicing and I took it to Jim Ellis Hyundai. I went to Jim Ellis because friends of mine raved over their service department. I was not disappointed, I was introduced to Eric, the agent that would handle my account. Eric called me to go over all pricing and details of each need and spent a lot of time checking to see what my warranty would cover and what it would not. It was reassuring knowing that I had one contact within the department and I could speak to him with any questions.I appreciated Jim Ellis car service picking me up and bringing me to the service center it was very helpful .Of course Jim Ellis Hyundai will be the place I go to for my Hyundai needs.

Needed oil change. Called few times and left message. Nobody got back to me. Had to walk in before work, one morning to schedule appointment a few days later. Was told oil change is around $50. The morning of scheduled appointment. I dropped off the vehicle and in the evening, picked it up on ky way from work. It ended up being over $70 dollars just for the oil change (no other service was performed). Very unlikely to return or recommend this particular dealership. I understand were in the middle of a pandemic but thats no excuse for them dropping the ball as they have. Friendliness, courtesy and accountability, all seem to have gone out the window in recent months.Edit after dealers response:I understand you having to increase your prices but you quoted me a price in the $50 range when you called saying the car is ready for pickup and then had to pay $20 more a few hours later! Its not about the dollar difference, its about you keeping your word. What about the other concerns? You havent adressed any of them in your reply!
Very friendly and accommodating atmosphere, to the point and very great at listening to your preferences and concerns when guiding and showing the cars you really want! If it wasnt for Lamar, the sales/friend, I wouldnt have bought my Hyundai Santa Fe 2020! Compared to the other places I had visited (Honda/Toyota), Hyundai was the most welcoming and eager to listen and go to the ends of the world to meet my needs. 😁😁 I was super happy for my decision and purchase! Even the finance guy, Sam Patel, came through and made the purchase side very enjoyable and benefiting me and Hyundai equally. Thank you!!

I was looking for a car for several weeks, researched several websites and talked to multiple dealers and none of them were satisfactory or they were trying to scam me. My friend recently bought from Jim Ellis Hyundai and recommended me to check with them. I had very low expectations, but honestly my experience was awesome. Met Nalin at his desk and he was honest and friendly from the beginning. He arranged for a test drive real quick, was very polite and gave detailed answers. He was not pushy at all, in fact, looking at other reviews, other salesmen here seem to be not pushy too. Due to the crazy car market, other car dealers were charging a huge markup, trying to inflate the price, but these guys sold my car only at MSRP. The finance manager, Sam was equally empathetic and very helpful. He was upfront with all the expenses, provided different options and suggested ideas to save me money. I am glad I met Nalin & Sam; they set a benchmark for how a customer should be treated.

I called the service center a month before dropping off the car because we have a few things we need to get done. Talk to parts to make sure they’ll have everything and get an estimate. Get there and they have the appointment but no record of what needs to be done and they’re not sure if they have the parts. Great. Also, can’t give an estimate until they get into the car and see what they can and cannot fix and what they have parts for; however, they still are going to charge to see if they’re able to address things. Normally I’m fine to get work done at a dealership because I assume they know their vehicles better. Apparently not this place. Super annoying and not the first time this kind of thing has happened with them.

Chuck is the man you want when you walk in. I would HIGHLY recommend to ask for him.As a car buyer, you want to know that the salesman you are dealing with is honest and upfront about EVERYTHING and Chuck genuinely displayed those characteristics. A few weeks prior I had went to the LEXUS dealership up the street and you could tell the salesman I was dealing with was just trying to make a sale and take my money. He took me on a 5 min test drive lmao. Chuck, however, let me take my new ride on the highway, step on the gas, and just get a feel for the car all the way around. I was SOLD!Moving on to the financing side of things, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sam Patel! He made it happen on his end and promised me he would have everything ready to go. My car buying process started on labor day, and ended Wednesday 10/8/2021. Chuck and Sam worked in tandem, keeping in constant contact to get me in what I WANTED and held up their end of the deal!Would definitely recommend those two guys!
I came to this dealership had a diagnostic done. It was determined my charcoal box and another part needed to be replaced for the gas. A couple days later the gas mileage numbers started changing on its own. One minute it shows full the next moment is showing empty. I called them about it and they advised I would need to pay another diagnostic fee although it didn’t start messing up until they supposedly fixed it. I’ve had other customer service based issues at this location and should probably drive farther to other dealerships but I have not yet.Update: The service manager has reached out and I will be visiting Tuesday morning to try and rectify this issue. He’s was super helpful and accommodating during our phone conversation today.
I was in the market to buy a car and I went to multiple dealerships, spoke to multiple salesmen, and did so much research, you wouldn’t believe. I can honestly say, my initial experience at Jim Ellis Hyundai is what helped me choose to do business with them. I had the pleasure to work with two salesmen, Saban and Alan, who both treated me with the upmost respect. From the start, they both were honest and upfront and truly trustworthy. I was skeptical at first, due to my past experiences with car salesmen and dealerships. What differentiated Saban and Alan was that their words matched their actions.With any issues that arose, they were quick to resolve and provide solutions. They truly wanted to ensure I was happy with my purchase and that it was the right fit for me. I appreciated their patience with my multiple test drives and questions. They were not pushy and put the ball in my court. Not only that, but I also had the pleasure of speaking with Frank, the sales manager, and he was very polite and understanding. I can honestly say, if you are questioning whether to buy a Hyundai from this dealership, don’t hesitate. Also, I highly recommend working with Saban or Alan. Either will take good care of you!
EDIT: I brought my car to the dealership for an issue and walked the lot for 30 minutes with my spouse and absolutely no one came out speak or offer any assistance. My husband did eventually go in and ask to see a Palisade. The salesperson was nice but it seemed like inventory was scarce and they really werent motivated to sell what they did have. We decided to stop at another dealership and was able to purchase a vehicle that day but as a repeat customer it was disappointing this customer service being provided.
Worst experience I ever had buying a car. Called numerous times to buy the car I wanted and was told someone would call me back in 5 minutes (no one ever called) then emailed my complaint. Then called and emailed me I thought everything was fine talk the salesman we discussed the car I wanted and agreed on a price this was Tuesday he told me the car would be detailed and ready on Thursday anytime after 1030 am. Called him early to ensure everything was good to go and he said he it was so about I start to head to dealership and called a few no answer then he calls me back and says the needs a Turbo hose and they wanted to replace it before I bought to ensure I didn’t have any issue and I ask will the car be ready the salesman said I will call you back that was yesterday at 2:05 pm and I still waiting on that call. Worst experience I ever had and I hope I’m the only one. Management, leadership please review your sales team.

My experience attempting to lease a car here turned out badly, for no apparent reason. While I hate to name names, unfortunately, it’s warranted in this case. End of Sept I spoke with Dwayne about leasing and a trade in, and he was very helpful. I was told my name was put on a list for a vehicle that would arrive around mid-Oct, at which time I would be notified and could accept or deny. In the subsequent weeks, it was nearly impossible to communicate with Dwayne to get details and an idea of potential numbers, so naturally I emailed/called other staff. I finally got in touch with someone else last week, who told me this vehicle wouldn’t arrive until end of Nov. I was either quoted incorrectly initially, or not notified of this change, and this timeline didn’t work for me (which Dwayne knew because we discussed at length the damage to my car from a hit and run). Immediately afterwards, Dwayne called and berated me for contacting other staff, blamed me for this miscommunication, and claimed no fault. Completely blindsided, and without letting me get a word in edgewise, he told me he was with a client (you called me, bro) and hung up. I’ve never been treated this way, especially as a customer actively trying to do business with someone! And a quick review of recent comments shows this is a pattern for Dwayne. Surely this isn’t indicative of the entire enterprise, though if Jim Ellis accepts its employees treating customers in such a hostile way, there’s a bigger issue here. None of the other managers responded to my inquiries, let alone apologized for the nonexistent follow-up. Of course, there are many other dealerships, so I promptly went elsewhere and today traded in my car for a 2022 Hyundai Tucson lease. Beware terrible service after you leave the dealership.
Great Dealership to do business when purchasing a New or Used Hyundai. I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz, over the internet and phone. Considering I was 900 miles away in Buffalo NY, they they made the process easier than purchasing locally. Just a short drive down to Atlanta and the vehicle was ready and waiting for me. They handled the entire purchase, even registering my vehicle through New York State. My salesman was Hamilton Dueberry who was fabulous. I highly recommend this dealership.

Their level of customer service, kindness, integrity, and transparency was a breath of fresh air after being to several other dealers in the area. Jaldrin Rodriguez and Sam Patel spent time ensuring that I was aware of my options and had all the knowledge I needed to make the best decisions possible and were very transparent through the whole process. They were both friendly and didnt rush or pressure me to buy. Surprisingly at a time where most other dealers are doing huge markups due to the car shortage, there were none at Jim Ellis Hyundai. Great experience at dealer replacing front air shocks. Provided alternative to very costly repair and finished repair quickly once parts were received. Only issue was time it took to get an appt which was 2 weeks after the day I called. Great use of tech by the Service Dept - received text status updates and was able to pay for repairs online prior to arriving to pick up car. Light years different (better) than Hyundai dealer on Cobb Pkwy.

I came into the Jim Ellis Hyundai Atlanta shop today to get my car serviced. I spent about a week getting the runaround at other mechanic shops and finally decided to bring it in to a Hyundai dealership, and I was so pleased with the service I received. I worked with Danon Henton and he was extremely attentive and empathetic in regards to my situation. He assisted me with travel from the dealership and back to it after working diligently to ensure that my car was repaired in the same day.I was so impressed and truly appreciative of my experience and the entire staff at Jim Ellis Hyundai. They even added in a complimentary car cleaning to top it off! Overall an amazing experience and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to get their car serviced!

We enjoyed our experience at this dealership. I know, those words are hardly ever said about shopping at a car dealership. Our salesman, Lawrence Pardy, was very helpful and accommodating. He was patient with us as we had several cars we wanted to look at before deciding if we were buying or going to look at a competitor luxury brand just down the street.We had driven an S Class Mercedes for years but the maintenance became untenable. We wanted a similar level of luxury but something which would not be as expensive, long term, to maintain.I had spent months researching cars and had narrowed my choices to 2 (based on the recommendations of my mechanic, who is a personal friend and whom I trust completely). The Genesis G90 Ultimate (because of the naturally aspirated V8 engine and the options which are typically included with this model) or the Lexus LS500 with the executive package. I was leaning toward the Genesis because of the V8 (the Lexus has a turbocharged V6 and the executive package in a late model, used car with low miles is extremely difficult to find). We searched the inventory at several dealers in Georgia but chose Jim Ellis because of their inventory choices and pricing. There were other dealers which had choices but Jim Ellis seemed to have a better variety and the best prices.We drove a 2020 G90 Ultimate which was a program car (PGA promotional car I assume) which had been purchased by this dealer after the PGA tour was cancelled last year. The car had less than 1,800 miles and was in gunmetal gray (I think they call it Himalayan Gray) with black interior. The black interior is not a dark black but is more dark gray which was more to our liking. Overall the interior of the G90 was more attractive than many of the LS 500 models (Im not sure what the engineers at Lexus were thinking with when they paired the tan with a dark brown suede. It is NOT pleasing to the eye. At least to us). At any rate, the interior of the G90 was LOADED. The rear seats reclined and were heated and cooled (that was an option which was hard to find outside the executive package with the LS 500). The back seat interior was very roomy and the middle seat of the rear was relatively comfortable. This is important to us because there are times when 5 of us travel together. The middle rear seat of the LS 500 is raised up more and less comfortable (neither is where I would want to spend hours at a time riding in but the G90 is preferable for us). We looked at two other G90s. One was a 2021 which was blue with the same interior and was new with less than 100 miles (I think) and a really good price (but more than the 2020), and the other was a 2021 (I think) in white with dark blue interior. The ceiling of the white car was too dark for my wife. The blue car was great and we seriously considered it as my wife loved the color but, in the end, we chose to save the money and bought the 2020 over the 2021.The purchase experience was pretty straight forward. Lawrence walked us through everything and answered all our questions. If he did not have an answer he would get it for us to our satisfaction. When we went to pay the finance manager (I cant recall his name unfortunately) was easy going and made the process simple.We would definitely purchase from this dealer again if the need arose. And we HIGHLY recommend the Genesis brand for luxury.

Difficult to make an appointment and the only time they had for an OIL CHANGE was over a month out. They sent me a coupon two weeks after I made the appointment and when I brought it in they said it had expired because of the service managers name on the coupon--he did not work there anymore (did not check expiration date.) They were corrected of the error by the man behind me and still did not apply coupon to the final bill. When I purchased my car I was given tires for life. EVERY time I got tires I was given 4 to keep them even in wear. This time I was only given two as the others were not used enough. I used to look forward to coming to Jim Ellis. This was my third car from them but Jim Ellis in no longer the Jim Ellis of the past.
I had a Service appointment this morning for a recall which was made 6 weeks ago. I have received at least 3 email confirmations as recently as yesterday. After driving to the dealership, I was advised that the parts are on a national backorder. Why did nobody call rather than just send email confirmations? Answer: We are overwhelmed. No excuse for poor customer NO service.
Horrible experience rude and high prices. All the 2ay up to top management. Sales manager emailed us what makes you think you can get that kind of deal? How rude and cocky. Inventory is low but no need to belittle the customer. Shop elsewhere because even management treats potential customers like dirt here.
Jim Ellis is the best Hyundai Dealer in the Atlanta Suburbs area. I visited 4 other dealers looking for a 2021 Hyundai Palisades SEL which are in low inventory. Everyone else except Jim Ellis charged a market adjustment mark-up up to $4k. Chuck Alderman was very friendly, patient and transparent. I bought from then last week and it was the best car buying experience so far with very fair price. Im very happy with my new car.
I am new to Atlanta and only chose to get my car serviced e because of the good reviews and I am glad I chose this place a got a engine repair took some time due to parts and everything arriving at dealership but I was patient. They also provided rental car free of charge I still had a way of transportation to work. My service guy was Danon he was awesome if could leave 6 stars I would . Great job

STAY AWAY!!!!! Unless you wanted to get cheated on a trade or over pay for a car! So today was fun dealing with 2 very unprofessional sales members. When they evaluated the car they said the a/c didnt work. Upon inspection, someone in there service shop drained the Freon and forgot to put the cap back on and the valve was so loose. Being that I’m a car guy and I drove it there with air. I stopped by my storage and charged it right back up when after tightening the valve back. Never in my life have I seen this practice.Feroze and Ross low ball offer on a trade this day in time was insulting. When they got right with the trade value they just added to the price of the new car! Real slick fella but I can read!

I brought my 2015 Hyundai Genesis to Jim Ellis for warranty work on 8/17/21 after waiting 30 days for an appointment. I also requested they repair the left power window switch and look and the gasket that was falling on the rear 3rd brake light. All this work was supposed to be covered under the 10-year Warranty only to find out that none of work was covered because the 10-year warranty only covers the drive train not bumper to bumper. I was not told this when I set up the appointment. I then asked what the cost would be to repair the left door switch and gasket on the third brake light. I was quoted over $3,000.00 to repair these items. I was told by the Service dept. that I needed a left door switch and two new window motors? They advised the head liner needed to come down to repair the gasket on the third brake light. My vehicle only has $11/k miles and is like new. I declined all the work because Jim Ellis was simply trying to build up the service bill with hopes that I would just pay the bill as a Genesis owner. I replaced left door switch myself for $150 which was the cost of the left door power switch and the windows work fine. Jim Ellis quoted me $391.00 just for the left door power switch part plus labor. Over 200% mark up for the window left power switch part? I never needed two new door windows motors as quoted. They quoted over $1,600.00 for this work. After arriving to pick up my vehicle they charged me $140.00 diagnosis fee plus $18.00 plus tax for Misc expenses. They claim Misc expenses cover fluids, workers googles back braces etc.. associated with my repair. Again, another scam to build the customers service estimate. Finally, when I picked up vehicle to go home there was grease from the mechanics hand on my left door arm rest(See photo). They did not even care what the vehicle looked like when returning it to me after having my vehicle for over 8 hours. Clearly, Jim Ellis Hyundai engages in deceptive business practices by trying to increase service bills for work that is not needed. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Jim Ellis Hyundai cannot be trusted. Never use this dealership for any service work. Use an independent mechanical shop before this dealership.
I drive 40 miles and pass other Hyundai dealerships for service because of the excellent service here at Jim Ellis. The process, from setting an appointment to leaving the dealership, is exceptional. All of the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The waiting area is pleasant and the amenities are appreciated. This is my third Hyundai purchased at this dealership and all have been serviced here even though there is a dealership within 5 miles of my home. Thats how good this dealership is!!
Bruce Vernon, my service advisor for about five years, and Robert, the shuttle driver, are two of the most amazing people you will ever meet anywhere! Bruce has always gone way more than above and beyond for me in every way possible, he is the kindest man and has always given me exceptional service.I had a great misfortune recently, my car hit something (I dont know what or when) that busted a hole in my oil pan and caused my engine to lose most of its oil, and i didnt know it because the low oil light did not come on to warn me-i would have NEVER driven it in that condition if i knew something like that was wrong. So i wound up with a damaged timing chain that needed to be replaced and it was going to cost over a thousand dollars so I had to leave the car overnight because it was going to take two days to complete the repair. So Robert drove me back to work and came back to get me when the car was ready earlier today and we had a good conversation during our rides.Well my car was fixed perfectly thanks to Bruce and his team of technicians and i went ii to pay the bill and Bruce said you are good to go. i said i have to pay you and he said it has been taken care of He said Robert had paid my bill in full! I was blown away, I could not believe it!I just am amazed that there is someone in this world with that kind of a generous heart!Also, when i took the car in for the diagnosis of the check engine light Bruce brought me a Waffle House breakfast free of charge because he knew I always liked to walk over to have breakfast while i waited on my car, and since my health and strength declined so badly this year i did not feel up to making the walk even though i wished i could have the breakfast. So Bruce brought breakfast!So I a writing this because i want everyone to know that there are still some really good people in this world and two of the best in the world re Bruce and Robert! So if you need to buy a car you need to come do it at this dealership. And if you have a Hyundai and it needs service then i urge you to ask for Bruce Vernon at Jim Ellis Hyundai! Bruce and Robert are saints and they have blessed my life more than they will ever know!

The sales person I had, Dwayne Palmer, started off well. As soon as the Car left the building, poor communication began to cause issues with a repair that was owed to us. Jen on the dealerships part is to be blamed for this, however, Dewayne feels that it is my fault. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional on two occasions regarding the situation. I will never buy a car from here again. Dwayne needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

I came in 2 weeks ago to purchase a car. The car I wanted was going to be there the following Monday. My salesman did not contact me to tell me if the truck came. I texted him that Monday and his reply was I’ll check and as of last Monday I still haven’t heard from him. Unacceptable follow up service. I went to another dealership, and they didn’t have the car, however they were able to get it to me within 30 min from their sister lot. I drove off the lot that day. Unfortunately that salesman will never get another sale or referral from me. My co-worker is ready to trade in his Genesis for a new one and I will make sure he goes to the dealer that gave me great service.
I’m new to the Hyundai family, just purchased a previously owned Sonata earlier this year, and had several questions about my vehicle before purchasing. I spoke with Danon Henton multiple times before I finally pulled the trigger. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and professional when addressing my concerns ams educating me about the purchase. Although I live about 45 minutes from this dealership, I will travel here just to have he and his team service my vehicle. The service here is the best ! Fantastic Experience!! We were dreading the whole ‘car shopping’ experience. We previously went to a few other dealerships trying to figure out what we wanted and nothing compared to Jim Ellis. They’re staff is so friendly and welcoming. I was pleased that they were taking temperatures at the door. It made me feel safe car shopping during this time, as it’s not ideal but we were in need within the next few months with expecting a baby and some traveling coming up. I saw a car online I was interested in and inquired about it through their website. Mylesha called me within 5 minutes to let me know the car was still available! She answered a few questions I have and was available through text message to schedule a test drive. She even came by the desk when we got there to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed! We were set up with Kenny G -- absolutely amazing!! I have never had a car salesman go above and beyond like he did! He sat with us on the computer and reviewed the features of every part of the car -- interior and exterior. As well as more about Hyundai and how they care for their customers. After becoming familiar with those features he then walked us outside where he had the car already pulled around -- the hood popped, doors open and trunk open! He walked us through in person all the features of the car and showed us how they operate. Then, we went for a test drive! He was funny, lighthearted, easy to talk with --- all around solid guy! He invited us back in to chat numbers --- and normally this is the awkward part, but Kenny made it easy. He explained everything, he listened to what we wanted / needed. His communication was great with what Hyundai could do for us. We came to an agreement and were so happy with the entire process. He even let us pause for lunch as it was a long day. He understood the emotional side of trading my car that I’ve had for 11 years! We met with Sam P in Finance and we had such a pleasant and smooth process as well! Frank D who is a manager there also came out to speak with us to congratulate us on the new car and let us know if there was anything else we needed or were not happy with to please call him. We are now driving a Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 and we love it! I’m telling you -- go see Jim Ellis and go see Kenny G!
