Was not impressed by their service at all. Came in for a simple bumper repair. Was repeatedly told that I would be able to pay by the credit card of the carwash that damaged my car. I was told the repair would take 5-8 business days which was in actuality 2.5 weeks. I had to reach out to them to get any updates on the car and they often time did not return my call. Once the repairs were done, I was told that he would not accept credit card until I hassled him to keep his word. After I eventually got my car back, there was multiple places where the bumper was damaged....the same bumper that I had gone in to get replaced.

Car was repaired very well, but the communication was horrible here. I needed to get other repairs done in the service department and wanted to schedule an appointment according to the completion of the repairs at the collision center. My representative did not communicate well at all. Had to go to the Audi North Atlanta to get repairs done because loaner vehicles were booked up for atleast 3 weeks. Had my representative had better communication skills I could have made an appointment since the repairs took about that long anyway. After years at Audi Atlanta location I will be taking my business to this location. They went above and beyond to accommodate and Im very appreciative!

Asked to have my car routine maintenance done before it expired, asked to have a buzzing sound and burning smell looked at after my car was rear ended. None of those things were done once I got my car delivered to me. The 360 dollars I spent to replace a tire that had a nail in it, once I received my car tire was still low and leaking air. Would give negative stars if I could because I kept asking to make sure it gets done before I had it shipped back to me.

Had Jim Ellis Collision Center fix a small scratch on the back bumper. Their shop said it would only take 3-4 days to fix. It took them 13 days and costed a $2500 rental car fee waiting to get the vehicle back. Terrible service, and terrible time management. I would never use them again.

They had my car over a month, continuously give me the run around. Terrible company to get your car fixed. I only had a minor scratch a missing sensor cover . They changed the date of my car being fixed over 4 times. Guess wat 31 days later I still DONT have my car. Still paying for rental cars and the communication has gotten worse. Money hungry it seems cuz u coulda been had my car finished. I DONT RECOMMEND find another shopGot my car back with a huge crack in my front window.

Went in for small repair .. Besides the small damage, i took them a clean truck. Took almost 1 month ... When i got my truck back it was full of shop dust everywhere .. Almost looked like they didnt even try to clean it up. Not what i expected from a dealer body shop.

The Collision Estimator, Ashley, was so professional and involved with my car. She kept me informed with the process, the insurance company, rental car, where my car was during the repairs, painting, and detailing.The repairs and painting we’re phenomenal. Every detail was taken care of with perfection. The clean up and detailing made my car look like new.I drove 45 miles to Doraville to have my wrecked car repaired at Jim Ellis Collision. Ashley is amazing! I can’t sing enough praises about her and everyone at Jim Ellis. I recently got into an accident that was not my fault. The person at fault’s insurance company was offering me pretty much nothing to repair my Porsche. It took around 3 weeks of negotiations to get them to cover the full amount. Ashley did everything to get me that full amount and constantly kept me in the loop despite COVID impacting everything. I’m so grateful to her and everyone there for their amazing customer service. My car looks amazing, definitely what I expected out of a Porsche certified repair shop! I couldn’t thank her enough. I definitely would recommend coming here for any repairs!

I had my car repaired at Jim Ellis Collision Center because I was in a desperate need of a body shop. While I was on a mini vacation in Atlanta, Ga, the valet service wrecked my vehicle preventing me from driving it back to my hometown in South Carolina. The hotel helped me find the closest Madza body shop. I dealt with a wonderful staff member name Larry S. by phone and he kept me updated about my vehicle the whole time my vehicle was being repaired. When the time came for me to pick up my vehicle, I was hoping for the best. Jim Ellis Collision Center did an excellent job on my vehicle. You could not tell where my car was wrecked and painted. They had the area repaired and the paint blended so well with the existing paint on my vehicle. They do excellent work and have great customer service. Our Service rep (Anthony), was not the best at returning calls and seemed he couldnt care less about our experience at Jim Ellis Collision Center. We were told our car would be ready on a certain day (mind you we are out of state) and the day the car was supposed to be ready we did not receive the car. Of course on the next day we were frantic about receiving our car in that our rental was due back in less than 24 hours (we wouldnt have had a car). I had to call him to try and figure out why the car hadnt been completed and asked him if there was anything he could do to help us, given our situation. I asked if he could walk down to the service department to see if they could potentially expedite our car. He told me that it would be too far of a walk for him and offered no other types of help. Eventually we had to resort to upper management (David) and he was very courteous and understanding and ensured that we would be taken care of, to the best of his abilities and not to worry about the rental. Shortly after talking with David, I got a call from Anthony telling me I shouldnt have tried to go over him to get my car serviced because he is the only one who knows whats going on with my car. And then said that they wont be paying for anybodys rental because thats not their responsibility (mind you this after talking with David and him saying they would pay for it, if it came to that). The lack of class and respect for the customer is just sad on Anthonys part. Non-the-less the car is fixed and drives . However, if you choose to go to this body shop, I would not recommend using Anthony as your service representative.

Completely unprofessional and very demeaning. Without even knowing what the repair that was required, they said we dont work on any vehicle thats over 10 years old. Then to brush me off further said our Corvette labor rate is double what State Farm will pay...Really?!? I work in the automotive industry and I cant even fathom how unprofessional and unreasonable your staff is to PAYING clients. Brought my 2016 Chevy 2500HD 4X4 Diesel into JMCC on 7/10/17... If you, go ask for Roger, he is by far all about Customer Service. Having worked in a Body Shop back in the 80s when I was a teenager, I know just enough but not all. I had approximately $12,500.00 of front end damage visible and not visible. The work they completed is sound and the paint matching. I had a few small issues and brought the Truck back where they fixed/adjusted while I waited. Rodger went above and beyond in making sure I was updated on the progress. My only complaint is with the time it took to get the Truck back (for a body shop that size) into my hands which wasnt Rogers fault (45 days). Its the only reason I cant give 5 stars... Otherwise no complaints. FYI: My wife brought her 2011 Q5 Audi in for repairs/body work back in 2011. Good work back then and a speedy repair.

Even though Jim Ellis Collision Center is a high-volume repair shop, Brent Martin and David Bissette gave me the individual attention that I needed. Not only did they pay for my rental after my insurance coverage lapsed, they also thoroughly cleaned and detailed my car. They also gave me moment-by-moment updates on the status of my car, and returned my rental car to Enterprise after I picked up my vehicle. My car hadnt looked that clean since the day I bought it. Advisor was great with my 2017 Audi Q5, but sad it will take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to get parts because they come from Germany and with the install work, are so busy with FL cars from hurricanes. Two weeks in rental so far, hoping to find out when parts and work will be done, maybe 4-5 more weeks. Good communication with advisor and gave me honest timelines, so not really a surprise.Hopefully, time there will be worth it. Many other Audi owners I know said that Jim Ellis is supposed to provide excellent work, especially Audi. So worth the wait.The Enterprise Rental car person was great, didnt get his name, but sure wish my insurance company allowed me to use them - I would have had to pay out or pocket - but would have saved me a lot of BS with Hertz on PTI.

Jim Ellis has a plethora of buildings: if you are unfortunate enough to have your vehicle purchased through them messed up you will likely see this place. Staff was pleasant, unfortunately our SUV was stolen and totaled to a total loss so all they could do was keep our belongings for us to retrieve.

I have had repairs done by Jim Ellis Collision Center twice now, both times as a result of collision accidents in which insurance was paying for the repairs. I cant say enough about how courteous and professional everyone I encountered was throughout the process, both times. From the day my car was brought in, to the day I picked it up, I was told exactly how the repair process would go, how long it would take, and when they said they would keep me updated, they did. Additionally, the Enterprise Leasing rep on site was also lovely and made the rental easy, too!

This as to be the worst experience I have ever had! My car was there 2 months and then it comes out with scratches from them sanding it, the wrong tires, and Mismatched headlights. Not to mention I am now stuck with a $417 rental bill due to the fact that they took so long . and they dont give a damn about that. I will never take anything back here again.

I’ve been hit 3 times in the past four years. Once, I was literally just sitting at a red light and boom! Each time I used this place for my collision repairs for my Audi.My first two experiences were absolutely great. I never had to worry in any step of the way: from car rental (located inside the collision center), to insurance handling, estimates, repairs and completion. Communication was always transparent.Unfortunately, my most recent experience was not only the total opposite but one of the worst of any service experiences I’ve ever had.My car was originally brought to Jim Ellis Audi’s service center for an oil change (my car was hit the night before this previously scheduled service) then transferred into collision when it was deemed inoperable.Almost a week later, I get a call from my insurance company saying that they’ve attempted to do an estimate 3 times but Jim Ellis Collision Ctr said they don’t have my car. They’d have to stop payment on my rental if the estimator cannot see the car.I immediately went out to the collision ctr to find out they’d never moved my car from service to collision (literally right next door as in they share the same parking lot). Once I located my car (yes, I had to go find my car by walking around the service area’s garage), a technician from service walked over to collision with me and made sure that they understood the car should be moved over immediately and that my car be put in the system. I filled out some paperwork to get the case going and was assured everything will be taken care of from this point on. They even verified this with my insurance company so they could continue paying for my rental. This was December 20th (6 days after my car was initially taken in).After the estimate was done, I was told my car will be done by Jan 4th. They never reached out with any updates during this time, but I trusted them because my previous experiences had gone so well. I contacted Jim Ellis on the 2nd to see when I can pick up the car and return rental since its return date was coming up. They had no clue who I was, did not have my car in the system, and don’t know where it is. Sounds familiar? They still have not moved my car which is just sitting about 20-30 feet away. I had to come down in person again.At this point, I was told my car will be done by the third week of January.Making a really long story not as long, my car was with them from December 14th until the second week of February. On 5 separate occasions I was given a date in which I can come retrieve my car, and each time I would schedule the day off, call the day of or before to get an exact time only to be told that my car was still not ready for pickup. So much of my time (especially in relation to work) was wasted and never got an apology or even a heads up that my car will not be ready before I reached out. And yes, I had to reach out to them because my account advisor did not communicate with me at all.Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore and demanded that they give me a solid deadline to pick up my car. And when I did, my car smelled like paint for at least another week of driving. I had to let my windows down in fear of inhaling any dangerous fumes. Also, typically, they’d wash the car and do at least a quick vacuum. Not only was it not vacuumed but dirtier than it was before. I keep a pristine car but now there are black smudges in the roof’s interior and dirty car mats.My trunk (which should’ve been replaced or repaired) makes a weird noise when I close it and I can hear a loose part rolling in the passenger door but it’s nowhere visible for me to remove. I do plan to bring it back to them but they took away so much of my time that I just dread not having my car again.

They did repair on my Audi and did internal damage they covered up. Found by another Audi dealer refused to cover cost of repair that should be covered by their warranty. Be careful it’s not what you see but what you don’t see they do. Utter disappointment in the way they refused to cover a $2000 additional repair cost. Don’t trust them at all.

Every time they say it will be done something happens and they push the delivery date back a week. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. It has taken me OVER 2, plus a few months, to have my car repaired correctly...and it still HASNT been repaired. I was referred to Jim Ellis Auto Collision through my insurance company in 2011 after my accident. Being this was a repair that was supposedly guaranteed, Im thinking that if I experience the exact same problems in the exact same area that Jim ellis would repair without question. That isnt the case. After my initial visit the car seemed to be working fine. Then about 3 weeks passed, and I began experiencing issues with the exact same problem that I went in to have repaired. i called MANY times to speak with a manager, or get a simple answer saying they would finally complete the repair. After finally being forwarded to someone that had no idea of what my complaint was his answer was Oh we cant help you. Even though we understand that the car is doing the same thing, and I see it with my own eyes we cant diagnose the problem. Therefore we cant help you. had I had time to go to the actual site everyday I would have, but I lived too far, so calling had to suffice. Months had passed--and I continued to get the run around. I kept calling back to speak with a manager or general manger, at this point all I got was the run around. Messages of people saying they would have someone else call me back, or a manger would contact me at some point. None of this never happened. Finally one day i did speka with a guy that said he was a manager. Sure enough he told me to bring the car in and no matter what they would find the problem and repair it. Especially since it had been an insurance claim. I take off of work, and drive almost 2 hours to this place and sure enough, I got the run around as usual. Then found out that particular manager no longer worked there. i had given up for a while (even more months had passed--mid-2013), until my car got worse, and i found the time to actually go to the place. I called and just happened to end up on the phone with the now manager. She scheduled me to speak with another service adviser and I eventually took the car back for repair. They did claimed to have done something, and not even 2 days after picking up my car I continued to experience the exact same problem. Now they are telling me they cant do any diagnosing and dont know what to tell me. They wont pay for any diagnostics and that I will have to find my own place and pay for the diagnostics there and call them back to and they will then decide if they will repair. What type of customer service is that?? The last vist was just before Christmas 2013,and I called the manager again and just as expected, she was supposed to return my call twice and I still have not heard from this woman. Her last comment to me was, Oh I didnt call you back because I really didnt know what to tell you. What adult representing a major company such as this says something like that to a customer??? And I am STILL waiting on her return call and today is 1/15/14. I beyond disappointed. I will not, and I mean ever, refer this place to anyone that I know.
