Theres a wait and its only because they have excellent service with reasonable prices... I wouldnt trust anyone else with my foreign car other that the dealership...

This was literally the best experience Ive ever had servicing my car. Alphonso, Mario, and team are wonderful, affordable and reliable. I will never take my E350 Mercedes to the dealership or another shop. They have a customer for life.

This place is great. Everyone was so friendly and professional, they took the time to answer all of my questions. As a woman bringing your car to a mechanic can be really intimidating, and I didn’t feel that way at all. I’ll definitely take my car here in the future for anything it may need.

My husband and I sent our car here on June 11th for a diagnostic for a battery drain and to have the water run off channels cleared (which was not done). Mario and his team weren’t able to determine what the issue with the battery was, so we had the car picked up. However, the car was missing the entire gear shift lever and console. When this was brought up to the shop management their response to ask if the gear shift lever was there when the car was dropped off. Of course it was there!! All that we can surmise is that the part was taken off and misplaced by someone at the shop, OR that the part was stolen by someone at the shop. We requested that the shop make amends by finding a used replacement part but were basically blown off. No reimbursement, nothing. We are extremely disappointed and upset by the fact that the shop management ignored the issue and didn’t even attempt to resolve the problem. I can’t recommend this place with confidence to anyone.

If you have a BMW (or other foreign car), this is your shop. Mario, Corey, and the whole staff are friendly and professional. As a woman, many mechanics do a lot of trickery w/trying to get us to pay for work we don’t need because they think we don’t know better. But the Bavarian team didn’t do that. They fixed only what needed to be fixed and they stand behind their work. I would highly recommend this shop.

We had some work done - fairly basic, but several things - on an old Mercedes C350 and a BMW X5 a couple months ago.We do not have a lot of car work done, so honestly I have no idea if prices were typical. I can, however, speak to other items.Everything about our experience here was great. I was on the phone with them and we were there in person with them multiple times. Every time, every single person was friendly, helpful, and engaging. They were knowledgeable, answered my many questions, and they explained everything VERY clearly. They made it clear up front what the costs would be, what should be done now, what might be able to put off for a while, etc. There was one minor item they couldnt do there and they gave us a helpful suggestion.My experiences made me feel they are skilled and trustworthy and friendly. I recently moved to Atlanta from California. After being here just a few months, I had the misfortune of a super deer running out in front of my GMC Acadia a few months back. Well, the deer was not super but it did cause significant damage to my vehicle. I was recommended to take my vehicle to Barvarian Imports.The representative I worked with was Alphonso. I explained my situation to him as I couldnt be without my vehicle for a long length of time. I didnt add the auto rental portion to my insurance. Alphonso worked with me. He and the team there at Bavarian did an awesome job on my SUV. He went above and beyond service. It has truly been my best experience and knowing there are people like Alphonso who go out of their way to help was the best feeling I could have. I have never had anyone help me in the professional and friendly manner that Barvarian Imports did. I would recommend anyone take their car there. This is poor customer service and apparently they’re not concerned about their customers. This place used to be decent, it has declined alot. Used to be affordable and knowledgable car repair, now theres a list of questions before you get a price. The price costs more than the dealer 3 out of the last 4 repair quotes I was able to get after navigating through layers of receptionists and sales people. Id steer clear. Horrible experience.

Corey got my ignition coils and spark plugs replaced same day and $300 cheaper than Global imports quoted! Ask for Corey you wont be sorry!

Every time I come to Bavarian I have a great experience. When I am in Atlanta, Bavarian is the ONLY place I take my car to be serviced and I have been coming here since 2017. Corey and his team of Master techs have my 4.8 BMW X5 running excellent after 7 hours with them..I was having all types of Electrical Problems and they found it within the hour after intense testing . I will always bring my SUV here if possible . The cost is higher but peace of mind is priceless. Not to mention they hooked me up with a couple extra test to make sure my DME was working properly. Trust me if you have a BMW go HERE AND AVOID THE BS AT OTHER PLACES ..TELL COREY i SENT YOU !

One of the best BMW shops Ive worked with. My 328i needed major work; Corey kept me posted every day with a status and gave me an accurate and fair breakdown of the work needed (as well as a 24k/2yr warranty on the work). The work was completed thoroughly and quickly and even assisted me with a oil change, took care of my alignment and had the car washed prior to pick up. My Mercedes E320 had a Fault code for EGR valve/ check engine light, I took it to this shop and asked them to check into it. The lead mechanic insisted on replacing the cranking and charging system. I agreed because he was adamant. They called me and told me my car was repaired. after I paid 1400$ for parts and labor just as the guy at the front desk handed me my keys and receipt he said “check engine light is still on you should test drive it and bring it back just in case” I took my car to Meineke They told me There was a small Vacuum line from the EGR valve to the engine That was cut in half, charged me $40 to fix my car And Cleared the check engine light! As God and my negative account balance is my witness this place is not to be trusted!

They did a quick efficient oil change. They misunderstood I also wanted a fuel filter replaced so they pulled me forward and replaced fuel filter and only charged for the part. It is my regular spot for oil change and other small repairs.

Absolutely fantastic. Bavarian imports continues to impress me every time I take my car there. My wife and I are on our combined 5th BMW and we have never had better service than at Bavarian, I might even call it old fashioned . Just good people doing there best to make sure you are happy. There is no doubt that keeping a German automobile is not inexpensive but I truly feel that these folks do the best that any business could to keep those costs as low as possible will still giving me the most that they can for my money. I don’t often write reviews but I can’t recommend this place enough! Alphonso was incredibly reliable and communicative through the whole process. He walks you through the whole repairing process and even gives you a tour of the place.The pricing was great and the turnaround time was very quick. I had a minor fender bender which was fixed within a few days—plus he fixed a torn liner I had free of charge! Honest shop, with kind knowledgeable staff. Had an awesome first experience here. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Had me spend over $1,000.00 for a vacuum pump repair after a smoke test and the check engine light came on a day later. Found out I only needed a PCV Diaphragm which was causing a vacuum leak and also replaced the MAP sensor. I dont even believe they did a smoke test and just came up with the most expensive repair they could think of which didnt even solve the problem. Dont trust this shop without doing research yourself. Shady and untrained mechanics.

These people swear they fixed the oil leak on my car. Around $1,500 to repair. Months later I realized my oil was still leaking, I took the car to another shop that printed me off a list of the exact same repairs that they claim they did. Took my car back to them and they denied seeing any oil leaking. Just a bunch of lazy liars at this location. Please beware of the scam they will run on you.

Work done on the car was great. Corey gave me a heads up of what i would be paying before they started work and allowed me to drop my car off a few days earlier than my appointment. Got a pleasant surprise. The guys also fixed a plastic fixture near the door for free and without me asking. Thanks for the awesome service.

Terrible service! Dishonest. I have visited this repair shop for far too long. I have found both the owner and service staff to be dishonest. Often times taking advantage of my lack of knowledge supposedly fixing one thing and breaking another. I would NOT recommend that you trust them to fix your car. Keep looking. Find a reputable place. You are better and safer off taking your car to the dealership than this place. They stole enough money from me.

Corey and the team are the best! Ive been going here for a few years and had the team do my pre-purchase inspection as well as subsequent maintenance. Theyre always so reliable, friendly and explain everything to you perfectly. The best part is that theyre honest. Theres been a couple instances where they recognize I dont need certain work right away and will advise me accordingly. Another time they took ownership of something that wasnt done properly the first time and corrected it without any questions asked. The reality is that most dealerships wouldnt tell you they did something wrong and then would lead you to believe something else was wrong with your vehicle so that youd pay another bill. Not this team, theyre trustworthy and recognize that a happy customer returns and sends all their friends too!

This is the best auto place iv ever been to the owner and the employees are all really nice and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. That atmosphere puts you at ease and the make sure you are well taken care of. This will be the only pace I go to for now in.

Only (1) star because there is not an option for 0 or Negative rating. The owner promised that they would provide new brakes for my X5 and would be much cheaper than the dealer. So I had them quote the work before starting and how provide an estimate of how long the work would take. FAILED on all counts: Although there was no additional work, just a straight forward new brakes on an X5, the price was about a hundred less than the dealer but they had the car for two days. The dealer would have provided a loaner car and turned it around in a day. The desk attendant at the service counter was extremely rude, as in customer NO-service.I actually went back for another repair, thinking that the previous incident must have been a bad day or problems with their internal communication but the desk attendant at the service counter was unbelievably rude, to the point of aggressive. It was one of those situations where I realized this person was not the right person for a customer service position. I followed up with the owner but he did not want to know about my experience.I do not recommend this shop.

I just moved from the DMV area, and I was clueless where to go and who to trust with fixing my car. My 2008 C300 needed an auxiliary fan replacement. Corey was kind and did not once make me feel stupid or broke (even though I am) for needing a repair last minute. Corey worked with me and provided options until I was able to return to the shop and fix my car (less than a week later). Shop is fast with parts and service, and Corey presented himself as a well informed professional. I am bringing my Mercedes to this shop from now on.

I purchased a 2002 Mercedes-Benz S430 from a great friend who always used the services rendered by Bavarian Imports. My friend is very particular about her things, so I knew that if she continued to use them, then they must offer excellent service. Ive taken the car there three times in the past two years; twice for scheduled service and once to repair damages following a rear tire rupture. I have not yet been disappointed. They offer excellent service and thus far, I have not experienced any problem related to the work that theyve done. I am sure that there are other reputable automobile services available, but in all honesty, I am afraid to trust ANYONE ELSE with my fully dependable automobile. As a matter of fact, I am writing this review because I am about to return to them for a window and door repair. I am sure that they will continue to inspire me to return to them for all my services.

Honest hard working mechanics. They gave me an honest quote about $3k less than the dealership, identified problems the dealership didnt, and actually showed me what was wrong with my car. I always know when I go there that my service will be amazing and theyll fix the problems I have, instead of overcharging me for problems I dont.

The service rep hung up the phone on me while asking for a quote on a very specific job. I called a few other shops that did so with no hesitation. So I didnt even get a chance to find out if they are a good BMW repair shop or not. I can say customer relations is definitely a 1 star.

Been here twice. And two complete different experience. First was sometime in February and visit was awesome. Jabari was real help, he did check the car and suggested me correctly. He asked me to brought the touch up pain.Today(03/09/2018) I visited again and Jabari was out due to personal reason. And the behavior of all the other staff was completely different. Waited there for more than 30 min and there was no one to check my car and no one was interested to know what happened to my car or why i am there.

The guys over at Bavarian Imports treated me very well. I came there to replace my weather stripping on my 2001 Audi S4. They fixed this at no charge and also fixed my rear fog lights. The owner Mike and body guy Jabari are extremely professional and trustworthy. I ended up signing up to have my car detailed for the next day. When I dropped my car off the next day they immediately started working on it and individually wet sanded any imperfections that my Audi had on it. Then my car went through an extensive buffering process in which it received three coats of polish and a final spray polish. They cleaned my engine bay and my interior extensively. I was pleased with the work Bavarian Motors performed on my vehicle and they did so at a very competitive price point. Job well done guys

I took my BMW 328i to get serviced on 05/28/2014 and was greeted by Derrick Johnson, the service manager there. Within 20 mins he had a diagnosis and a FAIR estimate for what the cost would be. Best garage I have been to in Atlanta and will be using from now. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

Another shop (dealer) quoted me double the price and Im sure I would not have gotten half the caring service. From the first call I made, everyone remembered my name and my car. So far so good. My mechanic took a look at my BMW and told me the problem and how long it would take to get it repaired, (he repairs US cars). I did my research and found Bavarian. Guess what? Those guys told me the same thing my mechanic told me.....down to the hours needed to repair it.The guys are friendly and as my car needs repairs.....Ill trust these guys again.So far so good.

BEWARE: Took my car there after getting a quote on labor and after the work was done, the price they presented was DOUBLE what they quoted. If you go make sure to get your quote IN WRITING! They might be nice and smiling but they will try to screw you. I will never take my car back. Also, if you dont personally know the owner (Mike) you probably will get screwed.

Jabari took care of me and my Nissan maxima perfectly. Hes very knowledgeable and actually cares about whats best for the customer and providing for their needs. The staff is welcoming and they completed my body repairs in a very timely manner, if you need work done these guys will take care of you.

I was in the market for a 750Li and was excited to find out that they opened an auto brokering service which allowed me to buy my 7 series at wholesale price. I am proud to say that Mike and Jabari saved me thousands on my new car and helped me to sell my 2005 5 series BMW. I advise anyone looking for a highline vehicle or anyone needing service to visit there shop. They havent been there for 30 years for no reason.

If you have a BMW, VW, or AUDI and you don’t go see Mike and Derrick at Bavarian Imports then you are making a serious mistake with your car. I dropped by with a problem I could not diagnose and they identified the problem very quickly. Derrick and Mike both listened to my story and then offer a plan of action. Mike took the time to point out other non-time critical issues with my BMW that should be addressed when I had the time. Their knowledge of cars is invaluable and they gained my trust over the course of the couple of days I was dealing with my car issue. I am very wary of auto repair shops, but Mike and Derrick put that to rest immediately. I walked away from this experience feeling like I had not only gained a great car resource, but with the experience of being treated like I had known them for years. Bavarian Imports has a customer for life now and I will tell everyone I know not to even consider going to another shop or dealership service department. I will probably be stopping by occasionally just to say hello. That is the level of customer service they leave you with.

After 10 years of BMW ownership, I have finally THE PLACE to get my X5 worked on - Bavarian Imports.When something complicated needing fixing, I dreaded the thought of going to the dealer as I knew that not only would I pay two or three times as much as I needed to, but Id also get a list of repairs I really didnt need... but, worse, be left with the feeling that unless I made each and every repair, I wouldnt really be safe to put my kids in the car.Bavarian Imports is great. Mike and Derrick really care about my car, tell me what is a real need and why, what is elective, do the work well, on time, and are a pleasure to deal with. I wish I had known about them 7 years ago when the warranty period expired. I needed one additional adjustment after picking up my car and that got it done, while I waited, no charge and made me feel like here is somebody who stands behind their work.

I had an awesome experience here last week. I stopped by just to get a quote on some minor damage on my drivers side door (it wouldnt open and I was crawling through the passenger side, not cute) and Jabari assured me his team could get it done within an hour at a very reasonable rate. Everyone else at the store that I met treated me with kindness and respect--no one talked down to me or tried to mansplain or upcharge. Great to know I have finally found an honest, reliable, auto shop in the city.

I took my BMW X5 E70 in for an oil leak at around 8:30 on a Thursday morning, and they said theyre gonna call me after a couple of hours to let me know the cause and give me a quote on fixing the issue. After a couple of hours I got a call, saying that the valve cover needs replacing, and theyre also going to change my oil (which was changed 500 miles ago) to make sure the levels are ok, also clean all the oil on the engine, and the total would be around $1300, and they will call me at 2PM with an update. First I was like ok.I didnt get any call, so I called at 3PM to ask the status. They came up with this BOGUS story, that during the process they accidentally broke a spark plug gasket and they are replacing it at their own cost, but the car is only going to be ready the next day in the morning. Just so you know, spark plugs dont have gaskets, they dont even need to be taken out during the replacement of the valve cover. You dont need to replace the oil either when changing a valve cover, as you dont need to drain it out or anything like that.The next morning, I did not received any call, so I called around 10AM to ask the status of my car. They said they texted me that my car is ready, but they must have mistaken my number when writing it down (same number they called me a day earlier to give me a quote)I went in to get my car, and noticed that one of the plastic partitions in the engine compartment was broken, and there was still lots of oil on the engine. When I confronted the sales person, he came with a spray and sprayed on the engine (all that residue oil is now stuck on the shield underneath the engine) and as for the plastic partition, he said the mechanic did not touch that part at all. I insisted that they broke that part, and they had to take it out in order to do the valve cover (this is not the first time Ive experience a valve cover replacement). Another technician came, and admitted that the part in question was taken down, and that the other guys is not a technician and doesnt know what hes talking about, and that they will order my part and call me to replace it. Obviously they never called. They also said that they knew I was going to be a problematic customer. I work hard for my money and I paid you to fix my car, not to fix a part, do your job partially, and in the process break another part. I would avoid their services and find a more trustful repair shop.

Bavarian Imports always does an excellent job on my car! I recommend them to all of my friends because the customer service is unbeatable and my car is always repaired and ready for pick up in a super timely manner!

Bavarian Imports has worked on my cars for more than 20 years. Mike and his team have alway been professional, flexible, and extremely accommodating. Their body shop recently did some work for me and I was extremely pleased with Jabari and his team as well.

I had my Volkswagen CC VR6 towed to Bavarian Imports when my transmission went out. Before having it brought there, I talked to the front desk manager, Kilan, who told me that they would be able to begin working on my car first thing the next morning. He assured me that they would be able to fix whatever the problem was since they specialize in imports. The next morning, I contacted Kilan to get an update on my car, but he told me that they only have one mechanic that they trust enough to look at VWs, that he still had 15 hours worth of work to finish on another car, and that he wouldnt be able to even look at my car until the next morning. I told him that this was definitely an inconvenience since the only reason I chose Bavarian over the other shops in the area is that they would be able to get started on it so quickly. Kilan told me that if I had a problem with it that I was welcome to pay for a wrecker to take my car elsewhere. The following morning, I awoke to a text from Kilan with a picture of the repair order form, which said, Technician attempted to diagnose the vehicle. Technician states that he can not establish any communication with the transmission ECM. Technician states that the vehicle must go to the dealer due to Bavarian Imports inability to bypass transmission ECM for transmission diagnostics. Long story short, after 2 days of waiting around and almost $100 in towing fees, I was forced to take my car to a shop with the competence to diagnose and repair a Volkswagen (Karma VW and Audi). If youre reading this and trying to decide where you should take your import, do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache of dealing with the rudest and most unprofessional bunch of uneducated mechanics in the city of Atlanta. Karma VW and Audi has been a pleasure to work with thus far!!

Mike and his employees really know cars. They get the job done fairly and make sure you get exactly what you need. As a woman, I hate getting screwed over by mechanics - I never felt that way at Mikes and my VW TDI has been running great. The dealer was planning on doing a lot of extra stuff that wasnt needed as shown by Mike and his team. Mike also took extra time explaining my car to me and shared a lot of passion for solving the problem. Mike and his shop have won my service long term.

Prompt, honest, friendly and experienced shop that stands behind their work. This will be my go-to mechanic from now on.When I got a flashing engine light for multiple misfiring cylinders while on a trip in Alabama, I rushed my car to the only VW dealer around to try and fix it before driving back to Atlanta the next day. The dealer charged me $500 to change spark plugs and ignition coils (which didn’t fix the issue). The dealer then insisted they’d need to keep the car into next week and do an additional $500 engine tear-down to diagnose the issue, since they had no clue what was causing my cylinder misfires; insinuating that it might be a lost cause for an old car.That seemed suspect, so I drove back to Atlanta and went to Bavarian Imports the next morning for a second opinion. They quickly determined that the mass air sensor just needed to be cleaned. Now the engine light’s cleared and my car has all its power back. Mike was also fantastic about showing/telling what he’d done and calling to check on the fix the next day.

I would never take my car to Bavarian Imports again. My BMW 530i was experiencing a double jerk when the car slowed down, or when stop and going up a hill. I told the owner Mike I was experiencing a transmission problem. He said he ran a computer check of the car which identified the vanos adjustors and solenoids problems. He told me that fixing this issue would fix the jerk problem. Well it didnt fix the problem. The car was experiencing the same jerk action. I took the car back to Mike. He brought his computer to the car and ran a check, and saw no issue. We then went on a test drive and he was able to feel the jerk we were experiencing. He told us that this was normal, that the car was shifting gears. We explained to him that the jerk is not normal. We explain to him that he didnt fix the problem. Mike said he fix what the computer said was wrong, then replied sarcastically What you want me to do. We explain to him that he didnt fix the problem. He didnt care that he diagnose the problem wrong and the work performed had nothing to do with the transmission. I paid $1800 for work, that didnt fix my problem. I had to take it to a BMW dealer. They identified low transmission fluid and transmission pan leak as the cause of the problem. $915 worth of work. Now, Mikes computer may have identified vanos adjustors and solenoids problems, but that should have been an option if I wanted to fix, but I was told that would fix the jerking.Dont let the nice talk of Mike fool you. I dont believe hes as well qualified to work on vehicles as he states. His mechanics may be good, but he doesnt care about the customer. A lot of talk and no action. His prices may be lower, but his services is shady.Heres a follow-up on my vehicle. The problem was the transmission as I suspected. The BMW dealership nailed the problem Im not sure that the problem Barvarian Imports found actual exist, but was told was the problem of the jerking action. Im still upset.

Mike Lembcke and his team at Bavarian Imports are amazing - the only place that I will take my Audi S4. I have been a client of theirs for a number of years, and have found that they truly have the customer in mind. I have had numerous opportunities to take my car elsewhere, but find that Mike, Jabari, and Derek are the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, and honest car advisors out there. First, I have to say I rarely let anybody do custom work on my car. I take pride in doing my own work, and I have a hard time trusting others with my pride and joy. Ive taken my Nissan Maxima to Bavarian Imports twice for some custom work and theyve always been quick and spot on with the timeframe they have for me to get my car back to looking A+. Jabari and Mike run a professional, courteous and superb operation, and combined with their experience, One can definitely trust them to give you the best quality of work and customer service. Their painters and body work guys definitely know what theyre doing and they rock. Very pleasant experience both times and I will definitely be coming back for more body work. Great customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. My car (2008 BMW 535xi Wagon, 99k miles) limped in Bavarian Imports one evening (after hours) and the body shop guys said it was OK to leave until the next morning. Mike called me the next morning to let me know they had road tested and pulled the codes for the car and everything was fine...except the fuel pressure might be a little low. Given their extensive experience with BMWs, Mike suspected it may be the high pressure fuel pump and that it may be covered under a special extended warranty. So, rather than taking my $$$, Mike suggested I take it to the dealer. I did, and it was the HPFP and it was covered under a special 10 year/120k mile warranty. On a separate ocasion I had my brake service completed and Mike gave me a ride to work, so I didnt have to use Uber. I just cant say enough about these guys. They love cars and people, and it shows.

My Z28 was severly damaged in an accident and the crew at Bavarian did an amazing job! The paint job looks far better than even new cars !!

I found Bavarian Imports while looking for a reputable indy to look at my 2003 BMW 760LI. After looking at reviews of several shops I chose them. I must say it was a great decision. These guys are awesome. They give you straight answers with no bs. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Derrick absolutely takes care of his customers. Mike is a very cool and personable guy. I never met Donnny, the technician that worked on my car but hes a freaking wiz if you ask me. Im not sure many people would have found what was causing my problem. If youre looking for a indy to work on your BMW this is the place!!!!
