Great place to get your auto fixed. Everything is explained up front. I was told by other mechanics that there was a lot wrong. They made a simple fix for a good price. I will trust them for all my car needs from now on.

Good folks, who do great work. Wade is very helpful, gives fair prices, and takes the time to explain the repairs and services. I’m glad I found a shop in Atlanta, and will be using them for all future work. My old Jeep is driving better than ever after I got it back from them.

Very thankful for Wade and Dale getting my car ready to pass emissions inspection for a reasonable price. Great turn around time: called and dropped off my car, picked it up fixed the next day. After going through at least 10 car repair shops over the last 30 years, I have to say that Ive never had a more honest capable and trustworthy experience than when I first took my old Subaru in for service. I have been a customer for 4 years now and I will never take my car anywhere else. These guys are the best.

Ive only had my car for a day, but it is running great. I was referred to them by another shop that was unable to work on my car, so I immediately thought, price gouge.. But the staff was so attentive to the problem with my vehicle to the point that they even asked to keep it one more night just to make sure that it would be running great.Thanks guys!

Dale is great about breaking down which repairs are needed immediately and which can wait. Especially if you have an older make/model, great place to get your car serviced. Call in advance to make sure he can take care of you same day, many people in the neighborhood use him as their local mechanic so hes always busy!

Although this repair shop wasnt able to work on engine replacement, they did locate the exact issue in a timely fashion.

Dale is the best. They have been taking care of 2 Jaguars there and so far, they are top notch. They are not Jaguar Mechanics but if they are not sure how to do something on this specialty car, they research the issue and always come to the plate.. Brought in my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder that could barely drive. The guys did a TON of repairs and got it back to me almost overnight. They also included a list of engine codes and other issues that might pop up in the future. I highly recommend them for their quick work and fair pricing. This is my new go-to place inside the perimeter!

My 06 Taurus wasnt making left turns and had a few other issues. Mr Dale had everything back running (and turning) how it should in less than 2 business days. And he didnt knock me over the head with the cost. I would DEFINITELY recommend Mr Dale to anyone who is having issues.

Ive brought my car here for the past three repairs I have needed (wheel bearings, oil gaskets, and AC). I was recommended by another mechanic. Dale was great each time. His prices were very fair, he was honest about what needed to be repaired, and there were no surprise costs. Every time he took time to explain the repairs over the phone and when dropping off and picking up my car. DO NOT GO HERE!! Worst place in Atlanta! Manager/owner was very rude. Not professional. I asked if I could bring my car in for a diagnostic, he said “ this isn’t a barbershop you can’t bring your car in and out”. He followed me out of the business and proceeded to take a picture of me, I proceeded to tell him I was 19, no man, so I’m not sure about cars, that being rude was not needed. And he proceeded to be rude to me, and said any complaints won’t work, because he is the manager, and the owner.

I would 100% recommend them to work on your car or as in my case, help out with my roadworthy issues. Their professionalism cant be beat.

Dale has been maintaining my cars for over 20 years now. I only take my cars elsewhere for services he doesnt offer, such as tire replacement. I recently had a situation where the lock nut for my tires was lost, and Dale helped get the lock nuts off of my car and then literally gave me the lug nuts off of his own car to resolve the situation. I cant speak highly enough of Dales integrity and customer service.

Have been to ASR once and really liked working with them. Dale, the owner, is a warm, friendly and genuine person. They were upfront about what needed to be repaired and what did not. Will definitely go to them again.

I have used their shop multiple times for different services and it has been great every time. Most recently my muffler had come loose over the weekend. I took my car in on Monday which I know can be a busy time but I was surprised at how fast the service went. While they had my car they also let me know I needed an oil change and my battery was going bad. Got both of those services done as well and I was able to get back to work fast. Very up front and honest with all of their repair work. This is a hidden gem off of Cheshire Bridge road but worth seeking out. Great fast honest service.

Got my 2001 Toyota running very smooth. Diagnosed and fixed my fan belt/exhaust leak in a short amount of time for a very reasonable price. Grateful for them and would highly recommend them.

Great place, friendly staff, kind of a hidden location but shouldnt be too hard to find. Came in for emissions repairs and got it done within the day. Dale was very helpful in explaining the type of procedures they conducted and how the replaced parts function within the vehicle.

Great repair shop for my ‘01 Camry which has had multiple small issues after the 200k mileage mark. He remembers his customers and I trust him.

Good choice for my 20 year-old Honda. Dale and his crew do great work. I took him my 97 Honda Civic that was running hot/overheating, had some oil leaking and an airbag light on. He was able to fix everything in a couple of days at a reasonable cost. Will use him again.

Really great. I had some other mechanics look at my car and they never were able to find or fix the problems it was having. Dale found the problems (faulty temp sensor and switch, plus issues with the front end suspension) and fixed them. Fast turnaround time too.

Had a problem with strut mounts. Owner replaced them 3 times under warranty. It was a factory manufacturing defect in the strut mounts. I appreciate that he stuck with the job until he got it right at no extra charge to me. Very satisfied.

Stumbled upon this place and was glad I did! Came in with a check engine light and a tight schedule but Dale was able to work me in. Quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed the issue and I was in my way

I took my 1999 Lexus in for a few things: oil change (quoted at $45), leaking sunroof (quoted at $75 for “compressed air”), and to check the VSC light that was on. They changed my oil and fixed the sunroof with no problem.Dale called me about the check engine/VSC light, told me that it would be about $475 to fix, but that he didn’t think it was worth it. They ran the code, found that it was a very rare one, so they cleared it out. He told me that if the light came back on, then I could come back and he would take a look at it again for free (since they already ran the diagnostic). I appreciated his honesty with the VSC light.When I came to pick the car up, he said the total was $254. I was shocked because he has only quoted me $120 initially. Dale explained all of the costs and was very kind to take the time to help me understand. I realize this is my fault for not knowing I would be charged for labor. I’ve learned to ask beforehand now about labor costs. When I balked at the price, Dale was willing to work with me and after fiddling with the time on labor, ended up bringing it down to just under $200. I appreciate his willingness to make the price more reasonable.

Dale did an excellent job at repairing my car. I was driving on Cheshire Bridge Road and and I heard a funny noise coming from my engine. I pulled over and Automotive Service and Repair (ASR) a call and asked if they could take a look at it. As soon I pulled into ASR my engine belt snapped.Dale fixed my car up the same day and was upfront and honest with me regarding the cost. Now my car runs better than ever. I would definitely recommend ASR and look forward to using them in the future.

The absolute worst. The took my vehicle completely apart and then told me that it would cost $1500 just to get it back. After contacting the BBB he agreed to release it for $200. Proceed with caution.

Took my recently deceased husbands car here for a service because he had done business with ASR for many years. Was charged $154 for little more than an oil change and was then told that repairs were necessary that would amount to $900. Being stupid, I was ready to consent to the ridiculous list that I was given but thankfully delayed. My brother-in-law is a mechanic in Alabama and I was driving there for the w/e so I decided to ask him to look at it. I learned that the car needed nothing more than new windshield wipers - that in fact it was in great shape. Needless to say I will not be going back. And shame on you ASR for being willing to take advantage of a loyal customers widow.
