We have taken both of our cars here for over 3 years, and we have had great experiences every time! More so today, I called yesterday and spoke to Frank, he was able to squeeze me in this morning and my car was taken care of within the hour while they were short staffed! Granted my service did not require difficult to source parts, but I was impressed with the efficiency, communication, and professionalism.Price was fair given the work that needed to be done and in spite of the local demand.I was also contacted by the shop several days later to check in that I was satisfied with the service and no new issues arose.Great customer service. After taking my car to get checked days before (at another shop), stating I thought my battery was going out, i was told that wasn’t the problem. Few days later my car wouldn’t start. I called around the city and Atlanta Auto Care were the only ones who answered. John was great. I came to John and Atlanta Car Care from out of town, away from my known/trusted mechanic. I decided to take a chance on John since he had good reviews and I was desperate for new Brakes. My faith in John paid off! He came through big, doing a complete service on my brakes and getting the job done quickly. John called me before he started the service making sure I was well informed, and took the liberty to check in with me a few days after the service was complete to make sure everything was running smoothly. Trust me when I say John will do his best work for you. John and Atlanta Car Care mean business!

I was able to call and get an appointment right away. The service was done after a few hours and I was kept aware of the process at every stage. I even called and asked for additional services. Definitely will be using them again! John was great and even followed up the next day to ensure everything went smoothly.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I will start with the bad and end with the good. My car had grease marks all over the inside when I picked it up. Not really what you want to see/get into when you just dropped a chunk of change to get our car fixed.My car is on its last legs and it took me a few days to decide if I should fix it or scrap it. He let me keep it there for a few days before and after the car was fixed (I couldnt get there right after) and he didnt even mention it. I really appreciated that. He also was very good at communicating everything. My car is working great (it has only been a few days though) and I appreciate that as well.

When I moved to Atlanta from out of town, I was far from my trusted shop. I saw these guys were close and tried them out. They are the small-town, trustworthy business I was looking for. John reaches out after every service to make sure everything is up to my standards and that there aren’t any issues with the job they did. They take quality work and customer service very seriously. Trust is what does it for me in this line of work. I highly recommend anyone within an hours drive to use them for anything from an oil change to a major repair. You won’t be disappointed!

I went out on a limb to try a new shop for a second opinion on some repair work. I never write reviews on businesses but felt compelled due to my poor experience here. Unprofessional at best for every person I interacted with.I called a couple business days ahead of coming in and was told to come in early and drop my car off. I didnt hear anything from them on what they found until I called twice. They claimed they couldnt replicate my problem and didnt even appear to really inspect the car. When I was picking up the car, I was rudely handled and was told I would be charged an inspection fee. I successfully pushed back on that. Disappointed I wasted my time here.

John & team were able to get me in last minute after I discovered my AC went out in 90F+ weather. Diagnosed the issue just before close, and I had my car back fully repaired by midday next business day. A+ experience.

Also, they replaced the faulty circuit that reads and display the correct temperature in the cabin. Very pleased with the work done to my vehicle. Had the rear brakes replaced, hub assembly, wheel bearings, abs serviced, and rear axle replacement. It’s an older Ford Explorer that needed major work, but these gentlemen have it feeling smooth again. I would highly recommend you check them out for anything big or small.

I bought my Honda CRV a year ago from Carmax and needed tho have a yearly maintenance performed by their certified mechanic in order to comply with my 3 year warranty conditions. Prior to going to Car care, I actually saw our mechanic of 22 years, but since he is not certified by Carmax I had to find the one that is.John and his crew did exactly what my trustworthy mechanic said needed to be done. They replaced the air filters and rotated the tires. Service was performed. in approx. 3 hours and the price was reasonable. I will definitely use their services again.

They are very friendly and efficient. I was pumping gas when I got a warning from my car that my key battery was low. I popped in to ask them what I needed to do. Within 3 minutes the guys had fixed me up with a new battery. Great place.

Atlanta Car Care has always done a great job for me so when my mom was in town and had a car issue that is where I recommended we try. When she drove in to Atlanta to visit she noticed her car doing some weird things with the AC that we were worried could affect the battery and/or her getting home safe. She lives 2.5 hours away so wanted to get it looked at within the few days she was staying with me.We started off calling the local dealership where she’s taken her car in the past for service when in town. First off, they weren’t answering the phone for us to even ask if this was an issue she should be concerned about. It was about 30 min before close so definitely weren’t expecting to have it looked at that day, but wanted to make an appointment or see if they thought this was even a concern. The next morning when we did get in touch with someone they said it would be a solid week before they could even look at it and were generally unhelpful.At that point I suggested we go to my repair shop that’s always done a great job and treats me fair every time. When we called John let us know they would be able to check it out that day and to come on by. Not only were they able to resolve the issue but they also gave her a list with a couple of other items that popped up that weren’t urgent, but should be looked at after she gets home by her home dealership/mechanic.All in all, another great experience with this shop. I always appreciate their honesty and the care they take to explain issues, especially as someone who knows nothing about cars. Thanks again John and team for taking care of my mom!

I’m from West Virginia and I broke down on the interstate in Atlanta, I called and got someone on the phone immediately after calling 6 other garages who wouldn’t get me in that day, they diagnosed my truck shortly after it got there and had it fixed the next day by 3 p.m, I couldn’t have asked for better service and they did an awesome job! Was on the road the next day driving 9 hours straight to get home and never had an issue! 👍🏼

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! I took my vehicle to this place in September 2020 because my oil was leaking. The people at this place said it was the oil cover gaskets and charged me $667.11 dollars. I go home and the oil is still leaking. I take it back in, and they tell me they cant identify what the problem is without having to go in and dismantle the engine and that would be costly. Their fix was for me to constantly check the oil on my own and keep topping it off myself until I wanted the inspection done. My car has been leaking oil for the past 5+ months. I take it back home to Albany, GA this month (March 2021) and the guy there tells me its the oil cover gaskets. (Yes, the ones Atlanta Car Care told me they replaced!) The parts and repair for this was $100. The guy told me that it didnt even look like anyone had even checked the first time. Do NOT bring your car here!

I brought my car in the morning after my brake warning light came on. They had informed me that my back brakes needed replacing by lunchtime and the car was ready to be picked up that afternoon after the brakes were replaced. Very friendly and told me everything that needed to be done to fix my brakes. Will use them again with any other issues with my car!

Jon, Donald and Phillip were great! Brought my Altima in to diagnose a strange sound. Ended up being harmless (and expensive to fix.) Got some needed maintenance instead. They were very informative along the way. Not only was the price good and it done in a timely manner but they also threw a new battery in my key fab of their own accord. 5 stars for a reason.

After my alternator failed, had to quickly get my battery and alternator replaced and Atlanta Car Care fixed everything quickly and reasonably. Will be going back if I have any other issues!

I took my car in because my battery indicator light came on. John was very helpful and walked me through exactly what the issue was (turns out the alternator needed to be replaced). I also got my serpentine belt replaced, and they were kind enough to leave off the labor cost for it because I was already replacing the alternator.Great service all around!

They did a diagnostic test and ended up only having to change my oil/battery, but what really made them stand out was the extra effort that they put in before I left: they took off part of my front end that had been banged up and was hanging off to install it correctly. I have taken two cars here and have been very happy with their service. Ive gone to 3 different local car repair shops since Ive moved to Atlanta and this is the only one I feel like has been reliable, honest, and didnt try to overcharge. John is very courteous and is always good about getting the job done promptly, and checking in with you to make sure no problems arise after you leave the shop. Its also next to a waffle house, so if you drop off your car in the morning you can grab some waffles.
