Im not super happy with how my experience has been. I ordered a part for my Mazda and then I received an email stating that the website list price for the part was less then the actual part cost. It asked me to pay the difference or cancel the order. I feel like this company should have honored the list price instead of trying to get 20ish dollars more for a 60ish dollar part.

I was asked to review a part I have yet to receive; I guess Jim Ellis Mazda thinks I should have received the part already, but I have not. And this is why only 4 stars - the shipping takes too long. The order was placed on February 7 and the part was not shipped (meaning ready for carrier pick up at the shop, not actually in the mail) until February 15. It is now the 20th and I have yet to receive it.Other than the time it takes to leave this shop and arrive at my doorstep, I have zero complaints about JE Mazda. The site is easy to navigate, user friendly, and the parts are always right. Prices are competitive as well.

I may have reviewed this before, but heres a brief synopsis (I hope): I originally ordered the wrong part for my vehicle--and even then, Todd informed me that I was ordering stuff I didnt need anyway. He refunded the cost of the extra stuff and is awaiting the part I ordered incorrectly. Meanwhile, I found the correct part, and it was shipped quickly. In fact, it arrived sooner than expected. I took it out of the well-packed box, and snapped it right on to my vehicle. Fits perfectly. When I return the incorrect part for my refund, I have come to expect no less quality service than I already have. Again, THIS is what customer service SHOULD look like.

Easy to work with. As long as you know the parts numbers (thats what Google is for, right?) its smooth sailing. Sure, the website is not really useful at all (for some reason, parts catalog just refuses to work) and you need to use other sites to find the numbers, but theyre easy to reach by phone and if they dont have the parts in stock, theyll order for you and call you when theyre ready for pickup. Ive had to use them a couple of times so far (once due to a mishap during maintenance, and another because I needed some accessory parts) and I have been pleased so far.(Obviously, I cannot tell you if they even deliver.)Far cry from other dealerships parts department that wont pick up the phone and impossible to get help even if youre literally inside the building (*cough*WORLDTOYOTA*cough*)

The correct part arrived in a timely manner in a crushed box with the operating rod for the access key sticking out of the box, about two inches and obviously bent. A supremely unsatisfactory job of packaging a $180 a somewhat delicate assembly. Luckily I could use the old part on the remainder of the assembly.

When I ordered the part on line it gave me the price for shipping and I paid the invoice. Two days later I was notified by the dealership that in order for them to ship it to me it would be an additional $30.00 over the $37.00 I had already paid.When I was shopping for the part I had found another vendor a little more expensive buy offering free shipping. I should have gone with them because I ended up spending more here. But since they waited two days to notify me I was in a bigger rush to get the part. Beware they lie about shipping costs.

Always has the alternative my local dealer has not heard of. I was told by local dealer the entire door handle would have to replaced . They wanted $600 to do this but your sites ability allows to fine Individual parts others say dont exist.

I have only ever used Jim Ellis for my online oem mazda parts shopping. I recieve it faster than i would if i went to my local dealer [who has no parts for my car in stock] i recommend all my car club members to use Jim Ellis for their OEM parts and you should too.

All parts dealers on the internet are not the same. I used Ellis Mazda after a dealer closer to me had to back order a part with having it posted before I ordered (their acquisition took four days). Jim Ellis Mazda had the part in a day and had it to me several days later. I will use them again

I need a very common ignition part for an old 87 pickup which somehow in spite of describing the part, where it attaches and giving the # off the part, nobody can tell me its name or identify and sell it. They sold me a pickup set because thats what they have, Its not what I need. FAIL. $75 down the tube.

Very good experience shopping at Jim Ellis. I ordered several parts for my 2000 Mazda Miata using Paypal but the dampers were no longer available. They sent me an email the next day and I opted to have them ship the other parts. They refunded the cost of the dampers recalculated the shipping and sent the parts out a couple of days later.
