First time having to bring my car in for some routine maintenance and warranty repair. Scheduling was booked out (like most things today) but the process was incredibly smooth when I arrived. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I received great customer service with a new loaner (benefits of owning a Genesis) for the day and I had all of my work completed on the same day! Came back to a hand-washed car and couldnt have been happier. All in all, very happy I bought a Genesis and have these guys whenever I need service.
Guys listen! Saban is the absolute BEST! I have never received a service as he provided while buying a car! Very knowledgeable! He went through every aspect of the car with me & I fell in love with it! I felt so comfortable going through this process with him because he was honest and very helpful! The Genesis brand is trying to make buying a car experience that of buying a Lexis, BMW, or Mercedes. The experience I received was like buying a 81 Ford Pinto. For starters I found the vehicle online and started talking to a salesman about the car, he did act as if he wanted to sell the vehicle but I explained that it would be about a week before I can come to Atlanta then his attitude changed being that he could not make a sell that day. That was my first indication of the bad Genesis experience but I still proceeded with the purchase. So by now I have talked to the finance manager and informed him that I will have my own financing and will come in with a check and pay my own taxes on the vehicle when I get back home. They kept pushing me to let them run my credit to see if they can get me a lower interest rate but a would not let them. This is my second indication, so by now a have the check in hand and talked to my salesman and informed him I’m on my way to buy the car. It was a two hour drive and when I Arrived my salesman had went home for the day, very disrespectful. The vehicle was not at the dealership, it took about 35 minutes to go get the vehicle another 30 minutes to clean the vehicle up. After sitting at the dealership for about an hour hour and 15 minutes when I try to make the process as easy as possible I never got a opportunity to test drive the vehicle nor look at the vehicle, I trusted that this was a good vehicle being the vehicle was being bought from the brand. EVERYTHING that I have learned about this vehicle I had to go to my local Genesis dealership LONG GENESIS OF CHATTANOOGA. So please please do your homework when buying a vehicle from this dealership.
Danon Henton is awesome, I called in and all three times I inquired about the service history on a particular Genesis and he answered the phone all three times!!! And even asked for my email so he could send me the information he spoke of as he said “don’t trust me, trust the paperwork” . Now I’m considering buying two Genesis vehicles because of him!!
I love the New GV80!!! I spoke with someone and ironically it was not sales cause I could not get anyone one the phone!!!! It’s was Danon Henton in Genesis service whom spent at least 45 minutes on his day off at the dealership going over the features and competitor options and how superior it was. Had to take a moment to give a shout out to the great service team. I had a service appointment at 7:30a on a Friday, Arrived early and there was already a line of cars waiting. I got nervous, but the amazing team checked everyone in quickly, efficiently and COVID safe. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, The team identified an issue, said they needed a part, and sent me on my way with a great loaner. I drove 2 1/2 hours from Birmingham to have my G70 serviced and it was absolutely worth it. Jonathan Watson was extremely helpful and the ease of setting up an appointment was seamless. They ensured I was taken care of, even providing me with a GV80 loaner when I didnt ask for one while my car was being worked on. Highly recommend, will be back!

Sad to say this because my first experience was so nice but that service advisor was no longer present. My new service advisor is the opposite of helpful. I would say obstructionist.If you call to make an appointment, you will not receive a call back youll receive a text... And then in the text when you respond what the problem is hell explain why he cant help you. Having driven a Lexus for 20 years before this I was used to very professional, accommodating and friendly service advisors. Ive not encountered the same here since my first visit. The facility is nice, when you do actually get them to work on the car they do a good job. But the initial contact, communication and the way I was treated sent me to Ed voyles.
Shawn is a very knowledgeable and pleasant sales person. The sales manager and the finance person (Hau B) at the dealership were also great. My new car is beautiful and just what I wanted at a fair price.
I recently purchased a Genesis GV80 from Jim Ellis Genesis of Atlanta. While I am very happy with my purchase, I was incredibly frustrated by the tactics used by the finance director, Hau-B Cao, in an attempt to sell me multiple extended warranties as well as the incredibly high interest rates he offered me. When I voiced my frustrations to the General Manager, Scott Johnson, Mr. Johnson was dismissive and unapologetic, stating that “that was the way they did business and I didn’t have to accept any of the warranties or financing terms”. I understand the warranty and financing strategies that dealerships employ but I walked away feeling misled and my business unappreciated. If you are planning to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, do your homework on other financing sources and the warranties so hopefully you will have a more pleasant experience than I did on the backend of my purchase.
I recently purchased a new GV80 SUV from Genesis of Atlanta. I have to say I hate buying any car, new or used, but the sales experience at this dealership was outstanding and there was no pressure to purchase. My sales consultant Lori Ball helped me find the perfect car and guided me through the whole process. Genesis of Atlanta was fair on pricing where some other Atlanta dealerships were charging above MSRP for this new model, although I was not able to negotiate a price below the MSRP. I am thrilled to own the GV80 and if you are looking for a new Genesis, I wouldnt hesitate to go see Genesis of Atlanta.

I had an amazing experience at Jim Ellis Genesis (aka Genesis of Atlanta). Dealt with a salesperson, a sales manager, and the finance manager. The deal was done in about 2 hours (with another 30 minutes for car cleaning and gas up)....painless deal in a very low key, low pressure atmosphere. Ive bought a lot of cars, and this rates up there with one of the best experiences Ive had.

Going to car dealerships and buying cars isn’t something I look forward to doing. I just have to give a shout out to the Genesis Sales and Service team from The best Genesis dealer in the Southeast, Genesis of Atlanta. Shawn Huger should be the first salesperson requested. He will listen to what you need, (rare for a car salesperson) and won’t pester you or waste your time. Certainly, that’s how I like to do business. After the paper work is signed and the car is yours, ask for an introduction to Larry Hecht. He is the best service advisor a person could have. You will feel like family, and that is a great feeling. Because I drive around 30,000 miles a year, having people like Shawn and Larry on my side is comforting. Make your way to Genesis of Atlanta and ask for Shawn and Larry.
My Genesis G70 Sport 3.3 Turbo is probably my favorite purchase of all time. The car is phenomenal in every aspect. I like it more than a BMW 645ci, or Lexus GS350 F Sport. The service is the reason for only 4 stars.The last star is all about service. I was told my car was Genesis Certified before I agreed to purchase the car. I found out later I paid extra for a package that’s basically worthless. The app they designed this car and service around is horrible I mean. It’s literally the worst app in the world. Not a single advertised feature works.So instead of the app they give you a number for Carlton. I’m 0 for 12 on reaching Carlton. Carlton now makes you call a different number to try and reach him. That won’t work either.He called me back finally and I told him I would like to have my car picked up for service and swapped with a loaner. He told me on October 2nd that his first available opening was October 19th. He then proceeded to say “ You can drop it off yourself this week”I like Danon a lot he is a hard worker and is on the ball. Funny, straight shooter, my way or the highway kinda guy. I respect that.No Genesis service on the weekends though. Genesis sure as heck made a great car but you might as well download Grand Theft Auto from the App Store. It might have more functionality with your Genesis than their app.Edit to add that Danon got Genesis the 5th star with his amazing customer service! The app is still in beta but they came and picked up my car for service while I was moving to a new home. Wish I could tip the driver in the app.

We have purchased recently 2 Genesis vehicles and had outstanding customer service with everyone at Jim Ellis and most especially with our sales representative, David Kim. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and respectful of your time. I wouldn’t purchase a vehicle other than from him.
I found a specific car online that I was interested in so I called to ensure it was still available. The woman I spoke with was very nice and ensured me that it was. She took my name and number and said that they would even have it pulled to the front awaiting my arrival. When I got to the dealership, about 30 minutes later, I noticed that it was pulled to the front alright, and now they were showing it to someone else. Upon introduction I was told sorry, that person wasnt interested in that car until about 10 minutes ago. So you mean... about the time you pulled it up to the front for me? OK. Then they asked me if I would wait and see if that person wanted to buy it first and see if they got approved. Really? I waited a bit but thinking more and more about the level of unprofessionalism and disconcern that I had just encountered I decided to leave. When I stuck my head in the office door to let them know about my departure I was told theyre going to put $5k down anyway and they have pretty good credit. OK, well good for them. These goons wasted an hour and a half of my day and I never even looked at a single car. The good news is that this will be the only bad review they ever get from me because you wont catch me back in another Hyundai dealership. What a joke.

I had a 10am appointment but showed up a little after 9 and was greeted by Mr. Jackson who took full control and listen to my every need and put me in a car that fit me to a T. Every word I mentioned about what I liked about certain cars, he found every little detail inside this 2018 Hyundia Sonata Sport. The process was easy and didnt take long at all. Once again I thank you Mr. Jackson for stepping up, listening and giving grade A+++ customer service where you wasnt just trying to sell a car but you sold the right car.
