After the stress of having a broken window, Glass America was so simple, professional and affordable. I called on a Monday morning and they had their crew out on Wednesday, and even gave me a discount for being able to wait a day! It was literally half the cost of the Safelite quote I got, and I would have had to go to that place and wait. Glass America came to me, they were quick and professional, and I am very satisfied with the work they did. Our technician Rico was excellent.

To summarize, this was an awful experience. If you value your time call another company. The only thing I can say nice is that the tech was polite and very personable. Oh, and the glass fit. Read on….I was REALLY disappointed in the fiasco this turned out to be. My window was broken on a Thursday night. I called Friday and scheduled replacement for a Monday afternoon install and was confirmed for between 12 and 5. I Planned for Monday because it was going to rain Monday night and be below freezing. I also had Monday off from work so would be available all day. Nobody called or showed up Monday. When I called, I was told my appt. was moved to Wednesday and a dispatcher would call me in 15 minutes to explain what happened. The dispatcher never called. I wasn’t sure If I even had an appointment anymore. Wednesday morning, I get a text telling me a technician would be at my home that afternoon. I called the tech and explained what happened and that I wasn’t available Wednesday afternoon as I was at work and we would have to reschedule for the following morning early. The tech said he would check with dispatch and they would get back to me.I received no confirmation from Glass America for the Thursday appointment. Thursdays morning at exactly 9:16, I received a text telling me the tech would be at my home between 9 and 12. I had already left for work at 8 because, again, I had no confirmation I had an appointment. I contacted the tech and told him to just leave the glass and I would pay for it and install it myself. Which I did and it took all of 15 minutes.This all already being a total disaster…. And after providing my VIN in the initial scheduling call to ensure the correct glass was ordered, the technician had the incorrect glass and had to go back to the shop and get the correct glass which delayed my wife’s departure for a meeting in Columbus GA.

Don’t waste your time or money. They “fixed” a star on my windshield. I could have done the same with a rain x kit from Walmart. To add insult to injury the “technician” that came out made my gray headliner filthy from his dirty hands. So after I paid them to “fix” my windshield I had to pay my detailer to come out and detail the inside of my car. Next time I will let the star crack the whole windshield and just replace it.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Stay away! Someone broke into our car and broke our car door window to break in. We asked Glass America to fix since they were the soonest company we could find. Now I wish I had waited. The first technician they sent out did a horrible job. He broke our car door locking mechanism and while he was working, put his things on our seat and damaged our seat by something from his can dripped on the seats, and he left glass inside the door. They sent another technician a week later who looked like he knew what he was doing but midway he figured the first technician ordered the wrong part. A week later he rescheduled our appointment for the following week. The manager keeps saying theyll be out to look at the damage the first technician caused but still havent seen anyone. Three weeks later my car door still not fixed and my car seat is now damaged too. STAY AWAY!!! Theres got to be a better company out there.

Was on hold for 22 minutes still nobody picked up. Normally I wouldnt wait more than 5 minutes but I was checking emails. Hung up, called my insurance company, and told them to refer the business to someone else. No excuse for that. Have someone available to schedule appointments.
