This is the nicest antique store that I have ever been too. I kept looking for so long that my husband threatened to leave me lol. Nonetheless I picked up several unique pieces, and was very impressed.
So many treasures! There is something here for everyone! It is fun to spend a few hours walking around and seeing all the stuff!
Got here around two on a Sunday afternoon, hanging with my daughter, and vendors were already packing up and heading out. Felt rushed and couldnt enjoy my trip. But saw some interesting items, and spoke to some interesting vendors, exchanged information,, but like I said, if making a big purchase, I dont like to be rushed
This is a fun seasonal activity and a good way to blow a few hours. The area is pretty rough so make sure to fill up and get food before getting too close. The vendors are pretty diverse, selling art, furniture, crafts, antiques, rugs, and nick nacks. There is an outdoor area with salvaged home components and fixtures. The food on site is mostly not awesome but the coffee shop sometimes a few good items. Be aware that parking is $5 per person and they only take cash. It is easier to drive between the two buildings than take the shuttle. It is slow, hot, and smells like a cheap old folks home.
Ive met dealers from around the country, products from up North, out west and south of the border, lots of one of akind real deal items. If youre used to shopping Goodwill, salvation army or thrift stores price point donations, the average pricing by some dealers may seem a little higher, but uniqueness and quality tends to be superior
This Over the top Antique Market has Everything to please your imagination and then some .From Delicious Farmers Market fruits and veggies, to Asian Treasures, to African carvings and handmade rugs, to true Antiques from every era, jewelry, and DIYSYou want it?They have it!$5.00 per person2 sides of the InterstateDefinitely worth itMake sure you have a good part of the day to spend there.
Have a wonderful weekend enjoying all the goodies at Scotts antique market and met some wonderful dealers with such great knowledge about jewelry fashion and furniture. If you want to fun weekend get to both North and South buildings and you will be delighted!
Had a great time and cannot wait till it comes back and my wife can enjoy the experience 😊
Paid to shop one Sunday, got there ar 10:45 (45min after they opened) All the vendors were packing out way to hectic to shop. Almost got ran over twice Horrible
Love this market. Awesome finds!!!! Outside is the best place to get the deals! Sweet vendor with wreaths last month gave my child a little teddy bear and a jewelry vendor gave my son a silver coin. There is nothing like market vendors. Too sweet. Still cant believe I passed up the Cartier 18k blue sapphire ring for $400.00 . Gosh--- ill think about that forever.
Nice set up - go see the bearly awake coffee company, they are awesome!
Good to walk around. Great mix of booths
Not much of interest for me, even though it is not a small place. The best thing was the food at the place by an entrance and has been there 33 years! Also, very friendly.
Best show in the South, wide variety of everything from antiques, vintage, architectural artifacts, garden art and furniture.
I went on the last day with my sister, and it was a lot of fun to see cool vintage items on display. However, I hate how some vendors give ridiculous prices for things I know I can get cheaper elsewhere. Their Sunday deals are really just the regular, fair price for the items they are selling, if not more expensive than what they are valued. For instance, a vendor tried to convince us that he acquired a wooden bench from an estate sale, and its vintage from the 90s, and that the price was close to $2,000 but his deal was only half of that. That its a good deal, because they just dont make wooden furniture like that anymore. Glad we didnt get it, this bench is from a popular furniture site that was on sale a couple of years ago. You can still find it on their website. I bet I can get it on Facebook marketplace for 400 or less.Same with the turkish/kilim rugs...one vendor tells me that a 3.5 foot long turkish rug is a steal at $600. Ive found the same, if not better, online for $175.Another vendor tried to convince us that an item we were interested in was made in the 1920s and was very rare, when it was actually a popular style from the 1970s and you can find similar things on Etsy or Ebay.I dont know if they see two young women and expect them not to know anything about true vintage furniture or what.
Beautiful ! Everything that you can think of. Wear comfortable shoes.
The best way to spend the second weekend each month. So much fun exploring and treasure hunting. We love the vendors and the concessions never disappoint
Love all of the beautiful items that came home with me! I wish it was closer to home!
AWSOME place to visit .
Best place to buy antiques!
Fun place to go.
More than half the venders were without masks; we were very disappointed. If covid precautions are important to you, dont go.
Great selection of antiques in the North building. South building is a mixture of antiques and designer items.
Everyone was picking up at 1 pm on a Sunday
Could have done a better job accommodating VIP Tickets instead of leaving those ticket holders standing in the cold.
I loveee going here with my family. I ALWAYS find something great!
Go every month and always find something awesome.
2 large buildings with antiques, furniture and more. Vendors are always there. Each one specializes in something. Good prices.
Ive been attending the Scott Antique Market for more than 10 years. Ive scored a couple of amazing finds, which is what keeps me coming back.
If you cant find it here then you just arent looking hard enough. Only complaint is that the parking lot needs resurfacing and facilities upgraded. The individual vendors bring wonderful treasures and are willing to negotiate. Thats one thing that you cant do as well on Ebay plus you cant physically hold the item in your hands before you buy it online either. It will be ashame if this type of shopping is completely replaced by the modern world!
Didnt purchase anything. Always enjoy the people and atmosphere.
Huge place for all kinds of shopping!!
Ive waited almost 20 years to visit this, and I walked away somewhat disappointed. Maybe COVID has changed the offerings, but I certainly didnt see all the things Ive heard people rave about in the past.
Scott’s used be vendors were put on a waiting list to get a booth, now the north building is at least 1/3 empty and the south building is 80% new stuff. And this is due primarily because of the last recession, which vendors apparently where clueless of and had higher price tags than ever !!! And as of today, some vendors are still not pricing their wares, they are never in their booths and when you do find them they quote a laughably high price. It’s 2020 people, price the stuff, give the shopper a break !!! Because it’s getting to the point shoppers will just buy it online, why bother paying $5.00 to get in and hunt for a dealer, get an outrageous price, then find the same thing online for half the price, no entrance fee, no wasted time and no fuel cost. People aren’t as clueless as you think.
Great place to find antiques
Great selection of antiques
Pretty fun to go and looks for things. Ive found some good deals here.
Amazing with all kinds of antiques, designer items, and fine jewelry
Great place to find the unusual and the fine! So glad they are open again!
Love Scotts Antique Market! There is always so many interesting things to look at, antique furniture, jewelry, rugs, art work, dishes, just about anything you can think of, they have it! It is always different and so it feels like a treasure hunt! I love to take guests here and they always love it as well!
It was great
Lots of vendors and decor, this is an Atlanta staple and worth going several times a year.
It’s the best. Need one say more?
You never know what you will find
Good stuff
This place is amazing! I found so many wonderful items. The name of it is somewhat misleading: Its not just dusty old grandma furniture. Its filled with loads of different vendors with really unique furniture, jewelry, decor, rugs and other bit and bobs. Some of the vendors are selling new items, some refurbished and others proper antiques.
Horrible rip-off. You have to pay to enter??? What a racket. Mostly junk mixed in with incredibly expensive porcelains. I know people who have snagged great bargains here in the past, but no more. Drive to Monroe or Madison if you want to find a good deal on antiques or vintage stuff.
I went to look around & I found a LOT OF NICE STUFF but didnt buy anything but stickers ! My boyfriend bought a gun & a knife! Keep em happy..lol Ann
Many, many knowledgeable and friendly antique dealers and a wide array of antiques and collectibles. There are also vendors with more decorative goods, but altogether it satisfies the customers needs for home decor as well as the true collectors. I especially loved the Bluebird Sisters booth in the South Building next to the Greek food concession (delicious by the way). Their booth is charming and full of many treasures. I always find at least one special piece every time I visit them. Come see for yourself!
Fun interesting place. My son turned me on to.Picked up a few small items. Just waiting for a chance to go back
Great. Lots of good finds
I found a TON of great stuff (cheap) ! I think this is where you get everything thats NOT on Amazon! Not sure about the antique part tho. Most of the stuff there wasnt antiques, which was fine with me.
I just want to say that I have never been to a place where people were so kind and nice and generous with their time and their words. I met one of the nicest vendors today when I had forgotten to wish my son-in-law a happy birthday and he just said get your video out and started playing his guitar and saying him personally a happy birthday song. He also sold a set item at a very reasonable price. I do not know his name but he’s In the south building and sells ukuleles and everything that he can make light up including hand mixers LOL. Please stop by and see him. And tell him I wish him well.
Great show. Go see Frances at Mason De France..best dealer at the show..French and Italian antiques
Pretty nice place to.go
Very big, not what I expected. There was furniture, paintings, jewelry (both new and old), carpets and seasonal items. They also had a cafe with minimal items and a coffee shop.
This is TERRIBLE! Not only is it five dollars per person if you are under 50 don’t go here! Me and my sister went and lets just say we lowered the median age a fare bit. Not only did we get dirty looks, like we where going to steal things, but we were treated by the vendors are children as if we had no money and we where going to break things. All the vendors were exceedingly rude, never encouraged a sale and when we didn’t buy we got more dirty looks. Never going back not worth the trip, stay away!
I was not real sure what to expect today at Scotts Antique Market based on the reviews from google but I was pleasantly surprised! I saw quality antiques with a huge selection of merchandise for any type of shopper. The prices were great and the variety of antiques was well worth the trip out to the market. I loved the bus service from one area to the other. The wait time was minimal and the bus driver was superb!!!! I could spent two more days exploring and looking around. I will be back each month and cant wait to shop there again! Thanks for a great day!!! Loved it.
You can find just about anything home decor and antique here. Two large building on each side of the interstate. The North Building back right corner has the best art dealer you will ever see 😁
Large and airy. Good set ups with food and restrooms. Lots of variety with the dealers. Friendly and convenient. Definitely worth visiting!!
Every taste, every culture, every time period. All here. You need at least 2 days to see everything. Its 2 building and outdoors. From hippie vintage to farmhouse, European, to Middle Eastern. Theres no way you wont find something amazing. Ive even seen celebrities here! I go 2 or 3 times a year and love it. Food and bathrooms on site!
You have to pay to enter (they charged $5 per person in the car when we arrived). Once there, there are hundreds of booths to look through. Youll do a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Jewelry was the most common item there. If youre looking for a great deal, this isnt the place to go! The prices were average to high. It was fun to go and look; Im glad I went, but I wouldnt make it a regular thing personally.
Wonderful time of antique shopping every time we go to Scotts. Wear comfortable shoes since there are two Kmart size stores plus outside to walk through. Great food for lunch served in both buildings.
Great place, make sure you got tip money if you use the porters they do an amazing job.
Searching for antique wine/water/ice tea glasses, no luck. BUT absolutely everything else. Little bit of Antique Roadshow, little bit of Flea Market Flip. Handmade furniture, folk art, hip clothing, yard stuff, they have it all.
Always a great time!! Everything from cheap to expensive; flea market to fine antiques/jewelry. Theres also news reproduction items. Its great that they are now open half-day Thursday. Some dealers are slow to open Thursday and pack up early Sunday but always enough open to do some great shopping.
Large number if vendors with quality products including home furnishings and jewelry.
It is not just an antique store, it is held for lots of things. The place is also hue as heck. I went here and there was a gun show. There were a lot of vendors. The cafe near the back is also clean and has good food.
Always a fun day but the a/c was out the day I was there...so hot, I dont know how the vendors could work there all day. I hope Scotts refunded their rental fees.
Would be nice to put events on the website. Drove all the way over there and it was a gun show
You can get great deals on Sundays! Helpful vendors with good tips if you want to restore something
I had such a fun day shopping for goodies with my lovely boyfriend. I cant wait for the next time!
I have been going to the market for about a year. There is alot of beautiful and different one of a kind items at the show. My girls and I have not missed a weekend. Its like a girls outing including lunch! Love the vendors..always willing to make a deal! Negotiating prices...LOVE THE MARKET!
Great place to find antiques and collectibles. They have the show in two huge buildings.
Ive always enjoyed going to Scotts. A one hour drive, we parked close to the entrance; easy in & out,Just off 285 on Jonesboro Rd.Paintings, rugs, furniture...but my what fabulous jewelry!!! & sterling silver, oh my!
I miss the Tibetan guys. They had the best stuff
Lots to see but very pricey
Its almost overwhelming between the two buildings. There is a shuttle which is helpful. One is a bit better than the other but I cant remember which...it had a police officer doing traffic at the entrance. Allow plenty of time to go through it properly. Lots of antiques furniture prints and rugs. There are several food vendors in each building as well. I had a salmon croquette! They are really hard to find.Went to the website and printed $1 coupons for a discount on the entrance fee which was $5 each I think. Going back next month.
Always a fun visit and a good way to get steps if your a pedometer watcher. Lots of finished antique craft items. Not really a place to go for unfinished antiques unless you shop at the outside shops. The Market is spread across two buildings, on both the North and South side of the 285 loop exit. There is a shuttle that will take you across, but your better off having your car and can re-use your parking ticket to go across.
Really enjoyed our visit. Lots of antiques, jewelry and collectibles. Came very close to buying some lamps. Will be selling from a booth next month.
So many great finds.
My favorite weekend of the month. Something for everyone here!
Where are the antiques? There were a few. But the majority of items sold at this market are not antique. Pay $5 to walk around and see yard sale and flea market items outside and a handful of real antique vendors inside, surrounded by tons of vendors selling new items or refurbished items. Sort of a long drive to see not much of anything.***** Just read that both south and north buildings had the show in them! One building is on one side of the exit the other on the other side. We had no idea. I think the most antiques were in the building we did not even know about!
Love looking thru flea markets. Go to Ohio scott show regularly. This is second time to Atlanta show.Great for decorating ideas.Very few dealers have low prices, but if you want that one of a kind item, or the rare antique, you might find it here. There are a few deals to steal, but you really have to look.
I go here almost every month. Always a great day there. Not just antiques. A well day spent for me and my wife.
Hands down the most expansive collection of furniture and collectibles in Atlanta; however, the prices were extremely high. I was able find a couple of bargains, but most of the items were priced double the market rate. Im not sure that I will be returning.
