Has to be the best crew around hands down. Chevy, RJ and DJ helped me and my fiancé with the purchasing process of our handguns. I was a complete stranger to them and they treated us like we had been coming there for years! 100% recommend coming here. Very safe, fun and knowledgable crew

EXTREMELY rude staff. Very unprofessional, told us completely different range and rental fees then whats posted online. Asked to rent a full auto and it seemed like every excuse under the sun was used to deter us from renting. Told us theres a 3 box minimum for rentals which sounded like bs. Ammo was close to double what other ranges charge per box. Didnt want rent anything else because of their attitude towards us..... Ill go to your competition next time thanks!

This place is fantastic! The staff super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I took my dad who is retired military and law enforcement and visiting Atlanta and we enjoyed it very much. I will definitely become a regular patron of this place!

Cool place and people, but I bought a gold membership. The first time I visited to use it, they gave my gold card (with my name on it) to someone else and said come back another day bc hopefully we will have it back. We called them a bit later and were treated like we were crazy. We came back and asked for a new card because they still had not gotten it back and repeatedly got accused of losing it by the same manager who was on duty when it was given away. Again, he said come back another day and we will give you a new one. Too much money to waste.

I would not give these people your business. Customer service is awful, and they aren’t clear about their services. Called ahead to confirm that I could get range time (this was well before their closing time that is advertised on their website) and was rudely turned away. Also they charge for eyes and ears, even though their website clearly states rental rates for glasses/ear protection.I’m not expecting the best/friendliest service from a gun range, but this is easily the worst I’ve encountered in Atlanta. Please give your business to more reputable places such as Stoddard’s or Quickshot.

Id been in on many occasions using the range and purchase of gear. Customer service is really terrible every time. Today was the worst. I went to the register to make a purchase and was treated like I was a bother. I asked about a small safe, he said, Im the gun guy. Guy on the phone is the safe guy. I dont mind asking someone else but he was coarse as he averted my gaze and went about other matters. No other customers were even there yet. I asked about an FFL order, filled out the paperwork and got the gaze. Next time fill out your paperwork on line sharply. Apparently, the burly, bearded guy was having a bad day and it was only 11:15am. Literally said, just make your purchase so you can leave. I usually only give positive reviews as a habit but, this guy earned the time for me to write a warning for new clients. If you go, dont ask Crabby McArse for help!

My understanding is to purchase a gun all you need is a license but the black man upfront told me I had to take classes. It’s okay I’ll just make the purchase at a different gun store.

Nice facility and the staff was great despite the huge crowd they had. I had gotten my teen son a Groupon at Christmas time for him & my husband and we had no problems using it. The place is decent size, well run, and clean. They do have a lounge/waiting area but I didnt go inside. I decided to stand by the glass and watch my son. I would recommend this place to anyone even if youre a beginner.We were there on 3/15/20 before things started getting more crazy. I have visited the shop maybe 20 or 30 times, and have had almost as many transactions. I feel like by now Im qualified to give a balanced view. Ive read many of the other reviews and it would seem that the place is all over the map... one day everyone is nice and helpful the next day they are not. Im here to opine on that ....What I would say to the people who have been disappointed is, take it from a long time sport shooter:. This last year with the pandemic coupled with the panic buying of guns & ammo, has been an extremely trying year for anyone in their industry. I give them credit for holding up under the strain.Ive gone in there on days when you could not get a lane to shoot because it was so crowded. Well, those days are over... Ammunition dried up and there are Lanes open all the time, the challenge is paying the price for ammunition these days. Im sure they get tired of people grousing about it, its not their fault -- ammunition is not only expensive but nearly impossible to acquire right now, no matter where you are.The floor manager is Kenny, and I trust him both to be knowledgeable and responsive when necessary, regardless of how busy they might be. The inventory manager is Ryann and shes worth her weight in gold to me. I give the joint five stars because of her cheerful support for things I am buying.Speaking of inventory, I dont know how she does it..... She keeps more pistols and rifles on the shelf during this time than just about anyone else I have found. The lady that owns the place ought to be real pleased to have her there. I know I am.And they stick the name Safes in their company name for a reason -- Theyve got about the best display of floor safes anywhere in Atlanta. Sooner or later youll need one ....So are there ups and downs, particularly in this past year? You betcha. But Ill be there next week, and oh by the way, if you can get to Spaghetti Junction, youre there already ....

Heres the skinny on this establishment. I will admit that Im a lover of companies that value their customers... This one clearly didnt have appreciation for all customers.Pros: Clean, conveniently located off the highway, at least one knowledgeable rep, solid array of weaponry.Cons: TERRIBLE customer service from counter reps, inconvenient lane rentals, HORRIBLE Customer ServiceWent to the range with 2 other couples (total of 6 people) and wanted to get some shots off. Proclaimed owner initially said that it could be up to 4 people per lane then after finding out our party size & make up, he shifted the rules to only accommodate 2 per lane. No problem, we requested to rent 3 of the 8 OPEN lanes but was shut down immediately afterwards. Apparently theres a no large party rule and the reps appeared to take out their disdain for their previous customers attempt to take advantage of them. For the duration of the conversation they proceeded to speak with us as if we were attempting to beat their system.On the flip side, a viable solution to their apparent issue of renting to large parties would be to limit the timeframe of rentals to groups to accommodate additional patrons. We shot for an hour with 3 open lanes next to us while the other half of our party left to get drinks. Even with the designated lanes for law enforcement and members..... There were open lanes.Unfortunate experience. Hoping that you grow in that area...

Awesome place to shoot. I teach several firearms classes here per month and they’re ALWAYS generous hosts. The staff is friendly and helpful to new shooters and they always carry a decent selection of reputable firearms for sale. If you’re looking for somewhere to shoot, you can’t go wrong here.

Ryann has taught me so much about the firearms process, from the ordering, to the ATF paperwork and everything in between. She has saved me time and money, and had more than educated me along the way, she and the guys here are the only people I’ll turn to for help and training. Kenny, DJ, Joseph, Frank, John Todd, JT, and Lawrence are incredible assets to the team that make up the staff here. I live over an hour and a half away but this is the only place I’ll ever buy from. Fiver stars to the entire group, seriously, they’re all awesome, and I’ve seen some people be extremely crazy and disrespectful and they always keep their cool. I hope they’re appreciated as much by others as much as I appreciate them. Again, awesome group, couldn’t say better things! 🙂

This place has a very good group of people on staff. I’ve been coming here to shoot on and off since 2017. I’d say the staff is very diverse and most people would feel welcomed here.They’re so helpful to me and I didn’t even buy my gun from them, I bought it online and did a transfer. I remember getting free targets from time to time just because somebody’s in a good mood I guess lol. I don’t mind spending my money here, the prices on the lanes are good and you never feel rushed. The good thing I noticed is that they won’t let you hog the lanes no matter how much money you’ve got, if other people need to and want to shoot, they try their best to get them in there.I highly recommend this gun shop and range, I don’t always expect things to be perfect in life but I’ll tell you I’ve never had a bad experience at this particular place. Always pleasant, always fun and helpful to me. This is my #1 spot around here.

I went in not really knowing what I was doing but asked questions about buying my first gun. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They never made me feel dumb or like idiot which is a plus especially being a female. I ended up taking the safety class with Joshua who was an amazing instructor. I could not have asked for a better experience!!!

They close at 9 but by 8:15 70% of the sales floor firearms were put away. They recommended the Brownell website for the accessories I was looking for. I bought one item to justify the trip there, but I will take the advice and continue to shop online as I will not be returning to this store.

Been coming to this range for almost 2 years now and have never had anything less than a great experience. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The store has a great selection of products, including 5.11 pants now, which Im thrilled about. I recommend this range to everyone.

I went here because I had a traumatic situation happen to me. I came here afraid and anxious and they totally took care of me.The gentleman cleaned my gun, and taught me how to load and unload bullets. He also took me back and taught me how to shoot the proper way. I left here feeling safe and secured.They have a nice selection of guns, and they give you their best suggestions with out trying to up-sale you on the price.It was such a adrenaline rush shooting my gun. I was very shaky at first but once I got over my initial jitters, it was euphoric.Thanx guys! Y’all are the best

Ive purchased 2 firearms here. And enjoyed free range time for doing so. The staff has always been friendly and helpful anytime I came in for a visit. Judging from the reviews everyone is concerned about the staff being racist. Particularly the Asian guy. The Asian guy has always been helpful whenever I came in. As a matter of fact I think hes been the only one to help me when making a purchase at this location. I stopped by this location a couple days ago and from what I could tell theyve gotten rid of the asain guy. Possibly due to all the complaints. They seem to have replaced him with a tall black guy with dreads, which screams affirmative action. But nevertheless theyre a good company. Never experienced anything short of good service. No matter who I was dealing with.

Very rude and unprofessional. I have a groupon bought a few weeks ago and they told me they couldnt honor it as they wouldnt rent out ear and eye protection as they didnt have time to be cleaning it. I advised I brought my own and they argued that the groupon comes with those things so they wouldnt be able to honor it. Doesnt really make sense not to honor something for just those 2 things. I was basically scream at in the middle of the floor which made my wife and I very uncomfortable and we quickly got out of there.

Ive been shooting for a little over year. I decided to take their gun safety class with range time. They gave me some great information and the range time was awesome. Im a pretty decent shot, and with the drills they had me do....I improved and had fun fun fun.

Good selection of firearms, and range is well maintained. Healthy stock of defense ammo and basic long gun/pistol accessories, including holsters, AR parts, lights, and cleaning supplies. Ive never had a bad experience here. This is a family-owned business; if you want to save at most $50, go to a big box store and be prepared for terrible big-box-store service and the time-wasting policies that come with them. The guys (and gals) here are knowledgeable and friendly. They know firearms and shooting and will give you good, personalized advice and information regardless of your experience/knowledge level.

Big fan of the crew of folks theyve got in here, I got a chance to talk to all of the guys working there this weekend. Got a lot of information and helpful tips from each of them. The entire facility from the range to the bathrooms are always clean, and they have a wide variety of firearms and accessories to choose from. I love this range, I have been coming with both friends and family for years. This is one of the most well kept and safe ranges that I have visited throughout Atlanta over the years and is by far my favorite. This is a family owned business and the staff is a diverse group of men and women who are knowledgeable in both firearms and firearm safety. There has never been a question that Ive had that has gone unanswered and Ive received an infinite amount of advice on all products, shooting tactics and general inquiries Ive had about the firearm industry as a whole. Customer service is the highest priority here and you can tell while interacting with the employees.Another thing I would like to say that separates Range Guns and Safes from majority of the other ranges in the area is that they offer FREE gun safety classes taught by military veterans to new/beginner shooters and they request that weekends are reserved for members and experienced shooters only; This is so the weekdays allow for anybody less familiar with firearms/safety can utilize the weekday hours and less busy range times to become better acquainted and more familiar on the range - As an avid and more experienced shooter this in itself makes for a more relaxed visit while using either their pistol or rifle ranges.This place is top notch and I highly recommend a visit for you to see for yourself! :)

Kenny, Tony, and Jojo have been amazing staff. They have a lot of knowledge on firearms and safes. I would definitely recommend taking a class with Tony if you are new to owning a firearm.

I have been to my fair share of ranges in metro Atlanta and can say that Range, Guns &Safes is one of the best. The staff is very attentive and friendly which is a huge help when bringing new shooters to the range. Pricing is on par, if not cheaper than most ranges in the area. The range isnt the largest (10 lanes) but the lanes were all comfortable for even 2 shooter. Ill definitely be back for some more range time!

I paid for the free class and along with hour of shooting time. Scheduled time was March 22, 5pm. Once I arrived they had armed shooter at the door turning folks down who had paid. I understand why due to the pandemic but you should have Informed your customers a head of time and issued refunds due to such an out of ordinary circumstance. Instead you stopped taking phone calls and rerouted the ph# Shaky business! If u ask me. Never will do business with this place in the FUTURE! 👎🏾👎🏾

This is is by far one of the best gun stores and ranges to shoot at. I took my wife here for her birthday and DJ whom I believe is the manager, was extremely accommodating to us. The whole staff was supportive as well and informative about firearms and they had a great way of communicating the details of safety, different features on firearms and tips to help better shoot. They were all so personable we both felt like we were at a family barbeque. Thats just the customer service part of the review.As for the guns themselves, I was very pleased. They had an assortment of guns to shoot from. Every major handgun anyone wants to buy and then some. Ive gone to other places where other ranges barely have any guns to shoot except certain glocks and revolvers. This place has all the noteworthy handguns from glock, sig sauer, Springfield and Smith & Wesson. So I was pleased with that cause we both got shoot all the guns Ive been on the fence about purchasing for me and the wife.All in all, Im gonna be a customer here for life. Im glad we found this place. Im not sure they have memberships here but well be coming here a lot more often to practice and merge into gun culture.

The range is pretty nice. It has clearly marked yardage and it is roomy. I would recommend this range to anyone in the area.

Do not go here. Very rude and egotistical Asian guy at the front door told me that you need a permit to buy a gun in GA. He turned me and others away from purchasing a gun. Instead of stating thats his store policy with whats going on in the country, he says you are two weeks to late to get a gun. Everyone in the county wants one. You need a permit. You will never get a penny of my dollar with your rudeness and lies. And for your information, I bought a gun in GA after I left your store with no permit.

One of the best places to shoot in Northern Atlanta, as its been here for quite a while, and is a popular venue for the USPSA shooting club. Youll see a lot of familiar faces that come by for practice, and new ones that get their first experience shooting here.

The guys that work here know theyre stuff and are very helpful! NOBODY WHO WORKS IN THIS BUILDING IS RACIST. If anyone knows racism a black man does so take my word for it!

Not too thrilled. One of the store associates was being a smart mouth comedian to my questions. Not sure if that was his personality as a funny guy or just being a sarcastic A-hole. Prices for the range run about $50 including Bullets costing $17.99. I find Trigger Time in Buford friendlier staff and more economic prices.

Hands down my favorite range. Every time I go there a sales rep named Kenny helps me out and he is amazing. He is very patient with the million questions I have. Terrible customer service! Staff was annoyed at having to do their job. Rude and unfriendly. They have a one ammo box limit per person and the entire vibe of the store was NEGATIVE. Do not go there. Ive been to several different ranges and this one had a nice atmosphere, compared to some of the others Ive been to. In my time there I had the time to encounter with three different guys Pete, Tony and skip. The level of customer service was good across the board. If you a new shooter this is definiately a good place to go to. Before leaving out they educated me on a lot of things, without even asking. I also had the chance to see how they encounter with others. Let me say it was a good customer service. Maybe the ones who had bad customer service was from people who are no longer there. Poor service when it comes to safes. I live 5 minutes away but will order the same safe they carry out of Florida. Young lady was nice but guy with ponytail annoyed and flat rude by questions and could care less if I purchased. C.E. Safes out of Florida more helpful over phone than 2 visits to David’s Gun Room.Very sad!!!

I went over a week ago to purchase protection for my home ahead of a shut down. I was told the state was not allowing any gun purchases unless you had a CCW. well I intended to get one but the govt is shut down. Additionally, it seems like every other gun store is still selling. I drove 45 minutes to this store for nothing. The reasoning they gave me was “it’s too crazy right now. We can’t sell any guns unless you have a permit. It doesn’t matter if your record is clean.” I’m not sure how true that is but I know SEVERAL people who became gun owners within the last 10 days (and they’ve been arrested before). Not sure which state is prohibiting gun purchases because Ga isn’t. I was disappointed.

They do a great inexpensive gun safety course on Sunday afternoons. Very informative. Customer service was fantastic. First time shooter learned the basics and got range time! Great first experience.

We went in this past Labor Day to shoot at the range. The guy at the front definitely did not want to work that day. It was clear in his attitude. Very poor customer service. After we finished shooting, we walked around the store looking for holsters and safes. Not one person asked if we needed help. There were about 3-4 people talking behind the counter but no one assisted. We walked out of the store and weren’t even greeted. Will not return.
