I’ve shopped at this store infrequently for the last few years. They have a halfway decent selection of African/Caribbean goods. However the meat department sucks most of the time. The often have a great selection of rotting or oxidized meats which begs you to question their refrigeration practices. When you call them out on it (hoping they simply forgot to discard the rotting meat and wouldn’t actually dream of selling it to a customer), they insist the VERY questionable meat you’re looking at is all they have. Management was notified and customer service was pretty much non-existent and they did nothing to fix the issue as later trips would reveal. Save your money, there are far better options for the vast majority of the things they sell. I wish I had thought to include pictures but I’m sure if this review doesn’t discourage you, the contents of the store will.

It is located on Riverdale Road, a few miles away from the airport towards Highway 85.It shares a huge parking lot with the other stores nearby.It has almost everything you need to make a plate. Vegetables, fresh seafood, and also dry goods. Africans are very welcome because they sell many ingredients shipped from Africa.Things are also affordable. You should come a have your own experience

Nice and clean place I used to go to another market miles away until I found this close to where I live. A bit pricey but I will support as much as I can. Friendly staff too.

This store nasty af the food spoil af and they wont even let you get anything in return for the spoil food They dont care about nobody its lies floating around the whole store with the manager and every employee in there.

I dont know how to cook alot of stuff but they have some nice fresh live products as well as ones that slaughter themselves or frozen meats and seafood.As far as variety though, they dont have alot of that and on top of that, the prices are high.I went for ice cream and seen that it was $2 higher than what it would be at Walmart. So was the pie I wanted.

For years I have bypassed Super Giant Mart. Decided to check it out I was pleasantly surprised. The store was clean and there was a large fresh seafood department with the types of fish I like at reasonable prices. I will be shopping there more often.

Good to get in and out. Most basic stuff plus some international goods. Nothing special. Not bad at all just not great.

This place is DISGUSTING! Today was my first time visiting at the recommendation of a friend and it will be my last! The produce was old, it had a bad smell and the worse of all, I saw A RAT run from one aisle under a display to the next! A RAT!I ran out of there as quickly as I could! This is a real disservice to this community and they deserve better!!!

I shop here about once a month to every other month. I do so primarily because the Aldi nearby doesn’t carry an item.The metal detectors and the smell from the rear-located seafood area are off-putting.The selection is plentiful but if you’re locally cultured, your options are likely about 50% of what’s available.This is a very convenient place to shop for short lists because the lines are usually short.

The visit was decent. I found everything I was looking for. The issue was that the prices were a bit high but I guess it is ok.

Visited the store for ox tails. They hav a lot of little ones, which I prefer. Worked with the price. One problem; the meat attendant had an attitude because I wanted no big ones. Smh

Sometimes the line(s) be so long. 1/2 of the time theres only 1 line open. Prices are much higher here than other places but is conveniently located and almost always fully stocked on things

Have all the Caribbean foods you need.

Has a really strong odor but they do have a good selection of pick fives.

I went to buy some meat from this store and the meat is rotten...... I asked them to give me a refund or allow me to exchange the meat and they refused to do so because it has been more than 2 days. The meat was rotting before I even bought clearly if it was smelling this bad in just 3 days. Not to mention when I called to talk to a manager, the rude female hung the phone up in my face. And when I called back, she acted like she couldn’t hear me. I spent 341.32 and always visit this store. Never again.Wish that I could give less than I star.

Good place for a variety items. From meats, seafoods, vegetables, seasonings and a whole lot more. Good prices and good service. Plenty of parking. Many times, they have items you cant find in other supermarkets.

Sign for blue crabs said 4.99 per lb. But Mr said sign was wrong and the ate 6.99 per lb

Wouldve given them a 5 since I found blue crabs but the prices were rather hefty and I had a time finding some things. On the other hand customer service is great!

Bought 2 tubers of yam at this store. Got home realized the yams were rotten, took it back for exchange or refund after 48 hrs but they refused. Poor customer service! Go to happy market or Hmart.

This supermarket has changed incredibly from the inside out since the owners changed. They carry all kinds of top-quality, fresh-cut meat every day with the Pick 5 for $19.99 deal. Honestly the freshest meat you can find in the Atlanta area, they have all kinds of meat that other supermarkets dont. They also have international groceries you cant find elsewhere in town. Perfect customer service - the staff, from the baggers and cashiers all the way up to managers, are all nice and friendly even though they are always busy at work. Theyve been a popular store for some time but since COVID-19, the way they care about their local customers and make sure they always have the household essentials in stock has made them even more popular among Atlanta locals. I just cant say enough good things about this store, go check it out for yourself. Bring a light jacket with you, the whole store is super cold because theyre keeping their meat fresh every day.

I lived in this area for 10 years! But after the lockdown, I came to this store for the first time!I advertised this shop in my community!Fresh fish and meat! There are many customers, so the waiting time is long.The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful.

Good customer service. I appreciate having the store having discounts for military and senior citizens. Store is pretty clean. Can work on prices on alot of items that are way too high and sometimes the smell is a bit much. But glad to have something close than going far away from home to shop.

3/18/2020So, this store has been here for years on years. Never went in. My mom went in to grab some green tea or whatever and found that it has fresh fish. We found pan whiting box fished frozen. I literally have been looking for this particular box fish for years. Needless to say we thawed that fish up and cleaned it, seasoned it and fried it. OMG so freaking good 😊.Also, there is other fresh fish you can buy and have cleaned, scaled and cut into desired pieces free of charge. Some reasonable and some definitely overpriced. Ive found my old favorites from when I was a little girl fishing with my granny with brothers & other cousins. My favorite fish is catfish, bream, drum, and whiting.Now, lets talk about the smell. Because Im from the country fresh seafood is loud and pungent, but oh so good when prepared. I wont complain about smells. Im usually in and out. This is now my go to market for fresh seafood😘☺.And to think, Ive been avoiding this store for years. Looks like youve gained 2 customers.BTW, saw some fresh live blue crabs. See foto

Oh my God this store is the best. It does not smell bad to have fresh fish. The fish was so fresh my granddaughter was begging for more. The chicken and steaks, groundbeef 5 for 19.99 is so worth it. I have lived right.down the street and now I am angry with myself for listening to people. I have missed out all this time. Super giant on riverdale has me hooked on,My first visit. This is now my store.

I tried to shop there, the convenience was great I live so close to the store. However the flies and odor of fish was my deal breaker. The meat dept, needs proper sanitation its too close to the fruits and veggies. The building needs a major renovation and Ive also experienced looking at rat bites on dry good items on the American grocery isles.

First of all, I dont like putting bad reviews but this store always has a bad 😱odor when entering....Some of their items are very pricey. They want too much for avocados some of their vegetables No good but they still sell them at a high price. But they do have great $20 bundle deals five for five Sometimes its not enough meat in packages They also sell goat skull head here😬...

Im disgusted by this store. It smelled like bad fish, I literally almost vomited, I had to leave before I could shop. Then the store owner came after me because Im black and I left without buying anything and demanded to search my bag! I didnt steal anything, I just couldnt take the smell. I told him that if he keeps harassing his customers he wont have any. DONT GO HERE

Over all its all pretty nice grocery store BUT... They could do something about the smell! It smells of old racid blood as soon as you walk in the door!! Fix that! Its gross!

The multiple tastes of food they offer is surprisingly vast. Im a fan of the Japanese tea they offer and am intending to look up some fufu recipes now that I know I can get some from here.

Okay store. Upon entering the store you will encounter an ODD smell. They have a good selection of fresh meats, HOWEVER be cautious when buying the pick 5 from the refrigerated sections. Sometimes the items can be a lil outdated.

Needs to be kept up on building maintenance inside and could definitely use a good cleaning. Upside is that the prices are affordable, however some stores inside did not accept card payments which should be mandatory being that electronic payment methods are primarily used nowadays..

The smell of this place when entering is gross. I should have anticipated issues when, apart from the smell, I saw a sign posted that says you only have 48 hours to return the meat. The produce dept is rough looking, with several items in various stages of wilting. In any case, I purchased some salmon that was on sale and lamb steaks. I had to return both items because they were spoiled. When I broke the seal on the lamb, the smell was atrocious! The fish smell was MUCH WORSE!! I had to open the windows in my kitchen to air it out! I’m not sure if their issues are related to product handling/storage and or the temperatures in their cases, but there is definitely a problem in this place. Do yourselves a favor and shop elsewhere.

Horrifying. Meat look real dark for sitting to long. Ribs was looking old and frost bitten. I literally left my buggy and walked out.

Incompetent workers, went to the fish section To make a purchase. The fish I wanted was tagged with the incorrect price. the worker refused to honor the price listed. when the manager, Brian, came to the back he also refused to correct price and asked did I want to buy the fish or not. Very poor customer service would never spend another dollar at this place.

Only came this morning because its right in front of me. However there is a reason I always pass right by. Opens a 8am but were still closed at 827 with a huge line. Never has what I need when I am inside or maybe just not organized well. Two Tomatoes can cost 6 or 7 dollars for no apparent reason. Smells like fish and meat throughout store.

There is not too much authenticity in this state for a Caribbean Queen like myself but my Husband and I always can come here to the Caribbean isle to make sure our home cooked meals are authentic! And this place has decent prices!

I wouldve gave a five star but I bought some ground beef that didnt taste or smell like ground beef when I cooked it. Im sure there was something wrong with that meat.

The fish and Asian food selections here are pretty great for Georgia, though it leaves the entire store smelling like fish. The produce is really varied and affordable, but they have a bad habit of not checking daily for produce that has gone off. The Asian foods selections are honestly fantastic, and are pretty affordable. That being said, their prices on any major brands is *far* more than youll pay at any other store for no good reason. Also, dont even consider buying cheese here. It was anywhere from $4-6 for one of those vacuum-sealed packs of cheap cheddar cheese, and their other cheeses are simultaneously just as generic and expensive at the same time.I *would* give this place a better rating despite all that, but Ive recently had some serious issues with expiration dates. READ ALL DATES BEFORE YOU BUY THINGS! Especially in the freezer section, they never seem to remove anything when it goes out of date. Its so obvious that they dont care that, last month (September), I bought some frozen wonton soup that, when I got it home and pulled it out for a quick lunch a few days later, I was horrified to notice that date on it was October of LAST YEAR.In short, good for fish, produce, and Asian foods, but stay away from the cheese and read the dates on anything you want to buy.
