Fantastic wine selection, Dave is extremely knowledgeable so be sure and ask him for his recommendations.Love the local honey they carry.They carry a lot of local products which helps support local businesses.Its nice to know you are dealing with the owners and are supporting a small business.

I have come in here many times and loved the service that they have. Looking for a good price, Ive gone in multiple times trying to find a good selection of wines and they have never failed to impress me with their knowledge and selection. Highly recommended if youre looking for caring help, advice, and a great tasting wine to top off a nice dinner!

Wonderful selection of wines, olive oils, vinegars, spices, fish and other specialty items. Very knowledgeable owners took the time to explain the history behind the items that they source, and let us try many samples - a really fun experience. Well definitely be back for more!

What differentiates this from any other store of its kind Ive seen is the caring attention of the ownership to provide custom recommendations for each and every customer, new or regular. I have become an enthusiastic regular customer at Healthy Gourmet!

There are plenty of good options for wine and fancy food items in Athens, UC is my favorite. Once you go a few times youll end up being treated like friends. And in fact many of the regular customers are friends.

About two years ago I was approached by Scott Graves to build out the website for the owners (Scott is their son in law). Scott was a higher up sales person in the company and I figured it couldnt hurt to do him a favor by making a nice, clean, well designed website for very cheap. Unfortunately after many MANY delays in payment (as small as it was) he and the owners now refuse to respond to calls and emails. Dont support shady business practice. Dont support this store.

Yes, the food here is really something special. The owners are very nice and kind folks. Can I afford to buy anything here more than once a year? No, sadly I cannot.
