Stopped by for an ice cream sandwich. It was great! The woman working the register was very polite and friendly. I order snickerdoodle cookies and strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The ice cream was one of the best strawberry cheesecake I’ve creams I’ve had! The cookies were nicely sized too. No issues on my visit. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Amazing cookies and wonderful employees. We grab cookies whenever we go to Athens and they are consistently amazing; soft in the middle, warm and freshly baked. There is usually a line but the staff works as quickly as they can and it’s always worth the wait if there is one. We will continue to come back!

Wanted to go to am insomnia cookies for soooo long and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! both cookies were warm, crunchy on the outside a gooey on the inside. the peanut butter chip one was definitely my favorite but the chocolate chunk was delicious as well

My husband said he was vaccinated and one employee said So am I!We had already paid, so they forced him to wait outside until the order was ready.Update: Cookies are mediocre, hard, and not hot or fresh like advertised. This place needs shut down. Wear your face diapers and shut up.

They have standard options, but also more deluxe, like cookie sandwiches.Good -- warm, inviting environment that smells like cookie heaven. Can get crowded, but for good reason. This is the 3rd time Ive ordered from them and they never delivered. Even after tracking and getting updates saying its been delivered I never get anything. I mean I understand that happening every now and again or being late, but to multiple times just not deliver gets really old.

Great cookies, BUT, waited 2 hours on cookies tonight just for them to tell me the store was closed after I spent $41. thankfully I was able to get my money back.. but to be told 2 hours after waiting for my delivery that they were close was terrible ... and the customer service lady .. SHEILA... was very rude and unprofessional... I love insomnia cookies but after tonight I will never buy cookies from here... it was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

My daughter ordered cookies for me for my birthday 8/13. Insomnia Cookies sent me a message at 12:28 stating they would be delivered at 1:30 and to call if there is an issue. At 2:15, I called their number to tell them I was leaving at 2:30 to go home (Atlanta). I was put on hold for 5 minutes and I hung up. Replying to their message does not work because SMS replies have not been setup on their end. The cookies were not delivered until 3:30 by UberEats. The cookies were not accepted because they were not delivered until after I left. No phone call to say sorry or anything. Just a message at 4:30 saying the cookie were successfully delivered. I would not trust this company. My daughter had to work over three hours to pay for cookies that I did not received.

I used to love this place. Id come visit my daughter when she lived in the dorms and order delivery. The cookies were always perfect and lasted for days. Tonight for the first time since I moved to Athens, I ordered and went to pick the cookies up. By the time I got home, they were as hard as hockey pucks. They werent edible. We ended up throwing the entire dozen out.

Dont order delivery. Youll end up waiting over an hour just to never get your order. Homie just wanted some late night cookies.

Amazing warm cookies. Always a long line when Ive visited so be prepared to be patient, but the delicious treat you get is worth it. Grab some milk to go with your hot, fresh cookies and you are set.I love to get two cookies with frosting in the center but my kids are fans of the cookies with ice cream. Either way, you win!

I came in yesterday and stacy (i think that was her name) served me. she was fantastic!! so sweet and helpful and my cookie was delicious!

My wife, a school teacher visited because of a promotion for Teacher Appreciation Week. She has had both COVID vaccinations but had forgotten a mask walking into the store. The person at the counter told my wife she could not serve her unless she had a mask. My wife said she had been vaccinated, with the response of “Honey I have too!” She asked if the store had any masks she could use. “Honey I bring mine from home!” My wife offered to cover her face or stand back but the worker still refused to serve her.All of that is well and good and within the right of the business. However what happened next is my issue. My wife decided to turn around and leave. Upon which the employee started to loudly mock and ridicule my wife to another customer! “Who does she think is?!?” And so forth. When my wife came back in the car she was shaking she was so upset by the incredible disrespect and rudeness she was shown.We will never step foot in this store again because of their incredible lack of service for their customers.

Ordered cookies on 5/4 and scheduled for delivery on 5/5 at 12:45pm. 12:45 comes and goes so I call the recipient to see if they’ve been delivered before I call The company to check status. It was 2:30 and they hadn’t been delivered. Tried calling the company several times and you can’t get through to anyone. Just elevator music the whole time. Tried chatting them on their website and the chat bit said no one is available to assist and asked that I leave my email for a follow up response. I got no email back. The recipient even tried calling, got in touch with someone, and the person argued with her saying they had been delivered! Finally, at 4:12pm, I receive a text saying the cookies “left the bakery.” Recipient got them shortly after that. I’ve received these cookies as a gift before and was happy with the product. This was my first time actually ordering as a gift and it wasn’t a good experience. People need to be able to call and check on their order if it isn’t delivered in the timeframe promised. Won’t be spending my money here again.

This place is absolutely amazing we were in town for a long weekend and we stopped in and got 8 cookies and there was no line the cookies were so good we went back the next day and waited in a 30 min line to get some more. Definitely a must if you are in the area. We will be back very soon

Insomnia Cookies are so good, we started subbing them in for birthday cakes in my family years ago. We buy them by the dozen for visitors and special occasions and individually after dinner at Amici every Wednesday night. You have to try this place! I highly recommended this place.

My first time ordering a cookie cake here. The chocolate chip cookie was very good but it was stuck onto the cardboard which made it very hard to cut.

I have never been before and I went today because they are doing a nurse appreciation promotion. The cookie I ate already was delicious and served still gooey. A couple of the other cookies were cold which was a little disappointing. Also the customer service was seriously lacking. She was not very welcoming and was abrupt with both my husband and a couple who came in after us. My husband forgot his mask and instead of politely asking him if he could put one on she said does he have a mask? He cant be in here without one He is an adult and simply an Im sorry sir but you need a mask please would have been nice. Also people forget about limiting the number of people inside a place so you need to wait outside just sounds harsh. I may be back but I wont be hurrying.

This place is absolutely horrible. Person stayed on the phone while I waited and because And the mask police were out so she didn’t serve me. There wasn’t a single person in the store besides me and I was taking to go. I waited five minutes for her to get off the phone and she still didn’t serve me. Do not go here. As much as I love the chain not this place because of the management.

Went to try this place for the first time with my family and we were looking hoping to enjoy some great treats. We were greeted terribly by a person at the register. She didn’t want to attend us and was very upset when we asked what type of cookies they had. The cookies were given to us by another woman who seemed embarrassed for the way we were being treated. The cookies were terrible and seemed old. Very disappointed.

Kind of a niche place. Trendy and tasty but pricy for what you get in my opinion. Its a nice treat if your girlfriend is in the mood for sweets and publix cookies just wont cut it.

I love insomnia cookies, but the poor attitudes and lack of enthusiasm makes it hard for customers to have a positive experience. I understand the late nights and high number of orders, but this is not an excuse for being super bored at work and acting like you are serving a life sentence in prison. Also, the cookies have always been cold and we ordered delivery once, and it came 3 hours later. I

The cookies are so delicious, if you ever get them. Their delivery system is completely flawed. The tracker will always tell you your cookies are baking. Their texting system letting you know how long your delivery will take is a lie and even when you receive a text that your order is up next, its going to be another hour. Do yourself a favor and either go pick them up front the store or place your order first thing in the morning so you will receive them by dinner.

Customer service was very good. Gave us a sample of their Irish Potato Cookie. It tasted really good.

These cookies used to taste hot and fresh. Last two times they just taste like warmed up grocery store cookies. Definitively not worth almost two bucks a cookie. And I even waited six mths in between visits. They most have sold out to corporate America.

Great cookies! I recommend going in the store to get your cookies or brownies. Love the late night hours however, the delivery option takes forever. My friend and I placed an order at 1am (they are open until 3am I believe) and we did not receive it until 2:30am. Most employees are very friendly.

I live in FL but heard that you could order and have the cookies delivered same day. I placed an order for 24 cookies to be delivered and paid $19.88 for EXPEDITED DELIVERY. Two days and NO COOKIES. I called customer service and while the lady was super nice - I was told the cookies would be there HOPEFULLY by Wednesday. I ordered on Friday. They should’ve been there today. I asked for a refund of the $19.88 and was told that’s on FedEx not them. NEVER AGAIN. I was given a coupon for 6 free original cookies on my next order ( I have to spend $6 first ).....unless I’m in Athens and can go in person I’m not ever ordering again.

Their cookies are real, real, good! Usually I cobble them down before I get home which doesnt make my daughters all that happy.

One may think wow these are a little pricey. But, can you really put a price on a warm delicious cookie. They have a wide variety ti please every cookie pallet. I personally picked the Deluxe Peanut Butter Cup cookie and it was so worth it. My wife had the Smores cookie and said that it was a ooey gooey mix of warm melt in your mouth delishiousness. Again, it is a pricey treat but one you do not regret. You can purchase one to 300 cookies and they have a 6, 12, 18, and 24 combo pack if you are feeling adventurous.

After getting off of work I walked to insomnia for a stress reliever. I ended up waiting over 15 minutes for two cookies and a scoop of ice cream. I was talked to by a rude girl on her phone and I was extremely disappointed when I got home. Both cookies were shoved together and were undercooked. After all of this I was unable to eat my cookies and my ice cream was melted.

Fun staff and delicious cookies. The monster cookie (I think?) was over-the-top but Id eat it again! One cookie on the bottom, 1 cookie smashed into ice cream with 2 other toppings, and a 3rd cookie on top. Yum!

Ordered custom cookie cake for grandson after season ending sports injury. The product taste good but the presentation was terrible. It was broken and you could not even read the bottom of the message. Called company to let them know and they said they would send out a replacement. Well the replacement was not what i originally ordered but it wasnt broken. The design on the cookie was dogs that looked like they were homeless and scary. The original design did not have dogs or the message that was on the replacement.

I ordered the new apple cake cookie cake and it came cold, cookie was very minimal and mainly cold apple stuffing. The parts that had cookie were stuck to the piece of cardboard under it. Overall didn’t taste good and wasn’t made right.

Ive ordered 6-8 times in the last 3 years, and roughly half of those orders were either extremely late or wrong. You can tell they hire the most burnt-out stoners they can find, which wouldnt be a big deal if they were at least functional. Seriously, McDonalds has a better success ratio for me than these guys, which is telling. The cookies are delicious, but you guys are clearly hiring people who make it more complicated than it needs to be.Bake cookies. Deliver cookies. Sometimes include milk and ice cream (not melted dairy soup). Get it together, gang.

Nope, wouldnt recommend. Ordered warm cookies and milk for daughters first day of classes. They forgot the milk. I text the delivery guy and he said it wasnt his fault and I needed to fill out some paperwork to request a redelivery. Are you kidding me? Now I have to jump through hoops to get my delivery right? Rediculous. Oh, and you cant call the store. You have to go through a 800 # and they hung up on me twice. They should be paying me for my time to fix their mistake.

This was my first time ever ordering in the store and Charity did not make it a great experience at all. We were the only ones in the store and she made us wait for almost 10 minutes while she did, I’m assuming, online orders. She should’ve have gotten our order first and then continued doing online orders because then we would’ve been out a lot sooner. Also she wasn’t wearing her mask properly she had it under her chin so her mouth and nose were exposed. She should’ve been wearing gloves while handling ready-to-eat food. And she has really long braids and her hair should’ve been tied back. Also she said our total was $10.20 but it was actually $11.88.

Since the whole CoVid virus the staff has still been friendly and accommodating. I put an order in at the last minute and they still took it and gave me some time to pick it up as well! So customer service for me was 5 stars! However, the cookies at this location were extremely disappointing. I ordered a dozen and usually they are fantastic coming from Atlanta. This was my first time going to Athens and I was so underwhelmed. The cookies were hard and by the morning basically stale. We at 2 out of the entire dozen and the rest went to the trash. For the cookies to be so expensive I expected better.

A wide variety of warm cookies. They are all delicious! A little on the pricey side. Not the best atmosphere, and the staff seems to not care too much. Come in with those expectations and you will enjoy it!

Horrible customer service!! My husband, myself, daughter, son and grandson went in Sunday afternoon for a cookie treat!! The employee was so rude telling us only 4 of you can come in here, put on a mask!! So of course we complied! Next words....keep the door closed !!! WHAT???? DO YOU WANT US IN OR OUT???? Great product but very high prices. My wife said it was the best oatmeal cookie she ever had!! The icing was good on the big cookie I ordered also. I think it was 6 cookies for 9.50 and 5.50 for the double cookie with icing.

Frequently ordered and LOVEDDDDD insomnia athens. Recently ordered, and 1:45 minutes later when calling customer service to inquire about order I was given an apology and told the location just closed. No reason as to why my order was not delivered, even though my charge and tip were processed. Extremely disappointed.

Fraudulent charges - I would not recommend coming into this store. We, along with many other people, were charged fraudulently on February 18th, 2020 despite going to this location only once in 2019. In fact, it has been close to a year since going. We looked online and apparently many other people were charged on the same day from this location who had not been in many months. I contacted the customer support at Insomnia Cookies. They were not surprised by our situation and quickly tried to get us off of the phone and to email our issue to the online customer support. We did that as well and essentially have been told that they cannot do anything. Well be filing a police report and have already contacted our bank. I really do not suggest going here.

My cookies have been baking for two hours now and they wont pick up the phone. Ive been on hold for 20 minutes. This isnt even the first time this has happened at this store.

The website is clearly broken or was not set up properly and cannot complete transactions properly. We usually love Insomnia Cookies & get cookies there often! I had a very disappointing experience today at Athens location. Today is my daughters 14 Birthday. I ordered her a cookie cake earlier this week to be picked up today. They said that I could pick it up at 12:15 for her 1:00 party. I live 45 minutes away. When I got there, they were not open. I sat on hold for over 30 minutes with customer service. Customer service apologized by saying someone should have let me know. NO KIDDING!! I was told they would refund my money & I should get an e-giftcard in my email. Too bad that gift card (that I haven’t received yet) can’t help me on my daughters birthday. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Came here for a date night dessert trip with my wife, and the cookies were good. Listening to the staff members curse in the back room while talking about their after hours trysts, and making fun of my wife and I, were not as good. Cursing and making fun of customers is a sure fire way to make sure your one time customers stay just that. I will not be returning.

NEVER ORDER DELIVERYI love these cookies. Theyre way better than store bought so I definitely recommend stopping in. But never. Ever. Order delivery. It took well over an hour from the time I placed the order for them to be delivered. When I called at the one hour mark all I was told is that both drivers were out and Ill probably get my order soon. Not very helpful, but okay. Overrated and overpriced is my first complaint!Second, with my order they threw in a one random cookie that I did not have on my order.Thirdly it took over an hour to get them delivered.... because they are short on drivers. And lastly, the cookies are full of sugar and grease ...I get that they are cookies, but my God. Also I don’t think they wear any hair nits because I found a nasty hair in it! Had cookies delivered only two streets over. What was supposed to be a 20 minute delivery was over an HOUR delivery. When I finally received my order they had obviously cut the already MINI cookies in half to make 12 cookies so I only got 6 cookies in my order. When I called to ask where my delivery was in route the only thing the lady said was well i can just refund your money - this was my first experience with them ever and my last.

Some flavors are pretty good. Three stars for ALWAYS being out of the good kinds of cookies/ice cream. You cant boast delicious cookie delivery until 3:00am if you have literally no options after 10:00pm. Plus its pretty expensive.

The delivery service is A JOKE. My roommates mom called in an order at 10am to be delivered at 3:30pm to our dorm a mile away on East Campus. 3:30 comes and goes, then 4:00, and no sign of the driver. My roommate gets a call from her mom saying that she called the store and the store said they only had 1 driver who left around 2:30 and didnt take our order, and that the driver could be there in the next 30 minutes to 1 hour. That would mean the cookies would be getting to us at 4:30 at the latest: none of us had time to sit on our butts all afternoon waiting for a box of 8 cookies. On the phone, the employee also said they could pull the order and have it ready for us to come and pick up. We headed downtown and got to the store around 4:30, passing by a delivery car parked outside of the store and another one at a red light. Infuriating. Once in the store, the girl working knew nothing about our order and had to put it together on the spot. The only silver lining to this is that she said we could call customer service and get a refund for the delivery fee. Well probably get a refund on the tip too, especially since it was payed for 5 HOURS IN ADVANCE when the order was placed. Poor time management, disorganization, and horrible service. Be ready to watch the grass grow if you opt to have your cookies delivered.

Warm tasty cookies, but you better like your cookies on the soft side if you want to eat them just after purchasing, as they keep them in their warmers until bought. I like eating them once theyre cooled and hardened a bit. Twice I have ordered a double chocolate mint cookie only to bite into it and realize they gave me a double chocolate. Their cookie cakes have a good bake. Bonus that they have late delivery hours.

Cookies are amazing, but if the young pink haired woman in the back talking about the customers that are still inside enjoying your cookies is terrible. Her language is so inappropriate and her interaction with customers is terrible. I will not be returning here.

Cookies are tasty and always warm! My favorite is the the Double Chocolate Chunk. It melts in your mouth even when its not warm. The cookies dont turn hard. The staff is friendly. Prices are fair. I love how they serve ice cream there as well.
