Great service..I got help learning my new galaxy z ..thanks!

Extremely poor customer service. Over 4 months of dealing with this particular store regarding a promotion that they “weren’t able to apply”. They stated they had spoken to directors and not able to get the simple credit owed on a phone they had in their possession for 3 months! Applied outrageous additional charges to the bill in the amount of $1000. Then when told I want an answer then communication completely stopped between the manager. Called customer support and they applied the owed credit of $700 in 10 MINUTES. Will find other Verizon stores from now on. Completely appalled.

Horrible service! Went to ask questions around our plan & compare phones to see what would be best for my budget. The sale rep actually refused to answer some of our questions (like just stood there). She also gave us three different quotes about the same thing and was just pushing a more expensive plan. I get it you need to make your commission but you do so by adding value to your customers & listening to their concerns, question, & needs....

We switched from sprint because of over charging then got two phones through Verizon, They fell through on there end of the deal and lied to us about our monthly rate then when we tried to dispute it they charged us $622 for one month. And now we can not connect with anyone when we call. Will be returning phones after only two months.

Jen, the store manager, and her team are willing to go above and beyond to provide an excellent customer experience. Would highly recommend the Athens, OH location.

Ive been to this location twice in the past 2 days. Once for device difficulties and another to purchase a galaxy watch. Not only were the employees at this location beyond enjoyable to deal with to buy a product, but they were just as helpful when reporting issues with a the other device. Unfortunately this is not how many locations are, and I wanted to take the time to recognize their compassionate work.

Ever go into a store, be waited on right as you walk in the door, with an extremely friendly and helpful, not so money hungry salesman?If not, walk in here.Ive always been treated good when I come here and for that, me, my family, and all of my referrals continue to come here.This store has always treated us well, usually has what we need in stock, except lack of selection in cell phone cases as with any wireless retail store.My favorite employee here by far, whom I have no problem asking for by name when I am going to make a purchase or have questions.... Went in with questions about iPhones and plans. Seth was very knowledgeable and helpful with information about the new iPhone 12 mini.

Knowledge able about my phone but unable to fix it. But they told me how to fix it.. normally they do a good job on helping me. But it is what it is.. thats why I switched to Verizon due to being friendly and helpful but Ill deal with it.

Wanted to brows phones and compare models but it’s curb side pickup only. If every other retail store can be open Verizon can too.

The staff were very helpful when we stopped in to turn off the service for devices we no longer use. They were also willing to calculate for us the cost of switching to a the new Unlimited plan. The store is clean and they have all the latest equipment. The staff was very knowledgeable about the devices they offer. They do have a limited number of staff, even during busy times. Use the Google site details to find out the least busy time to visit so you can minimize your wait.

Always willing to help any time we come in great service and polite and courteous staff.

Fast and easy bill pay

After 15 years with ATT, switching to Verizon was like a breath of fresh air. People there bent over backwards to make everything work. Recommend without reservation. Jason and Katie were terrific.

Made an appointment online and we were seen right on time. The customer service reps were very friendly and competent. No complaints at all!

Fantastic-- I walked into the store and told the salesgirl my problem with my phone, she told me what needs to be done and that it would take awhile and that I could leave it and she would take care of it. Told her I had some shopping to do and would be back in an hour or so. When I walked back into the store she had it ready. She was very friendly and smiled the whole time.

People are super helpful and friendly, and give advice on what they think would be best from their own experience.

This particular store has been very important to the community, as a place where regional Verizon customers can go to get new equipment and resolve technical issues. The local team here is freindly and well informed. They seem to correctly advocate for the customer in the face of a giant telecom with sometimes confusing and internally inconsistent products and policies. Verizon is the most functional of the cell phone carriers in this rural community, where other carriers have poor coverage. I hope this store continues in its vital role.

If I could give it a minus rating, I would. Salesman very unhelpful, said we used 3 gigs but I carryover almost the entire 3 each month, wouldnt give me a pay off on the contract on our tablet or phone. Said I couldnt pay them off they were on contract. So good bye Verizon, I will be getting another carrier for my phone.

10 year account holder...Dont waist your time at this branch. there is actually one in the mall down the road that is much more helpful.Spoke to the manager about picking up an online order. she said I could come get it in 2 hours after it went through there system. I went to pick it up after 3 hours. and got the sorry, we already had it shipped from Tennessee to your house and we cant change that I check my emails and its shipping from Texas. big difference than shipping from Tennessee honey. This isnt the first time I have had problems at this store either. The employees have a complete lack of knowledge and are to lazy to actually help you. The last time I went in to look at new phones I was told to just order on line because the sales rep didnt feel like helping me.

I travel between Athens and Cincinnati. I so much prefer Athens Verizon to the ones in Cincinnati. If I have a problem or question that can wait, I choose to go to the Athens store. The representatives in Athens are very kind and patient - theyve gone out of their way more than once to help me with my phone and also solving problems in the hilly location where I live.In my experience, each one of the employees there that Ive interacted with have been great representatives for Verizon.

I have been a Verizon customer since 2007 and have six devices on my account. I live three minutes from this store and will be making it a point not to return. I called *611 to verify a purchase and received excellent customer service, only to travel to the store to be met by an arrogant uninformed representative. After leaving I again called *611 and was able to make the purchase I had tried to make in the store. Save yourself time, and skip the Athens store.

I called Verizon after my phone blew up on my ear due to over heating of my Droid Mini.. The thermal warning indicator light did not come on, I didnt know it had one!!. I got the run around and finally drove my phone to Athens where Jen, a former Alltell agent helped me exchange my phone, since still under warranty... I was also informed that there is a free glass replacement for my husbands new Droid, when I called about it I was told I had to use my insurance. Verizon wireless is aware of defects on their phones but are a hassle.. I suggest you take the trip to this store and with with an associate as they really do take the time help you and arent trying to get more money or hide information like the Corp.. I know I will from now on because they wasted a week and over five hours on the phone, I was in and out of the Athens store in @ 1/2 hour with ALL issues resolved.So Thank You Jen and all the other store associates for your kindness, competence and patience!!

Slow Service and there is never enough people there. I have to block out at least 3 hours of time anytime I need to go in person. Additionally, they gave my fiancee the wrong instructions on how to keep her phone number and they lost it. They apologized profusely but shes had that number for ten years.

Went in for black Friday deals....took the order and after they said ok and typed up the order, and then said we couldnt get it. We were buying 2 iphones and 2 ipads. They wouldnt honor the discount pricing on anything else. While they did find one phone in inventory we had to order a phone we didnt want to get an ipad. The store and managers did a good job with what they had to work with which basically was.... nothing. There was nothing to indicate that there were limits in the ads (we checked). They said in 7 or 8 years they had never run out on Black Friday....well they did and while the store was helpful, Verizon wasnt . We spent hours driving to get there, only to be disappointed and had to drive back when they found the phone.

I waited for 45 minutes for a screen protector. This place takes forever for the slightest thing. I gave up like I should have 40 earlier and went to Walmart.

I have nothing good to say about my experience at this store yesterday. The staff is rude! The manager even ruder!. One would think as a corporate store the employees would be more helpful and less rude. After learning there was another Verizon store down the road in the mall I took my business there. The employees at that store were more then helpful, got what I needed and walked out very happy. As for THIS store (one by Applebees), all the employees I had interacted with yesterday should be fired!

Theres always a long wait and frequently the staff cannot help with the specific issue you are questioning. I also found that the staff responded to me differently with and without makeup. If I had makeup on, they were more attentive. I visited them two days in a row and thats what happened.

This company will rip you off. They invented legalize stealing in so many ways it should be against the law for what they do.

Waited 20 minutes for assistance and was still waiting to be acknowledged.
