This is my go to flooring store. A little out of the way for me but worth the drive. The staff are always great to deal with and very knowledgeable.

I can’t say enough about Madison Carpet! From our first visit there, till our carpet was installed, every experience was positive. They were very patient with us, as it took a while to make up our minds! And the team who handled the installation was amazing! They exceeded our expectations. We will never shop anywhere else for flooring!

We built a new home and I thought we had to go with the big store for our finished basement vinyl floor. I wont mention the name of that place because if I dont have anything nice to say about something, Im sure we all know the rest of that saying. Well that turned out to be a disaster in so many ways. We ended up canceling the job and going with Madison. For the same money, or maybe even a little less, we got the hometown store customer service only a family business can provide. Heath knows the products and knew what we needed before we did. They got their own installers out within a week of ordering and did a great Job putting in our floor. A couple months latter we needed some carpet for the house were selling and went right to Madison this time. They have shown us that they are knowledgeable, friendly and highly skilled at what they do. And they do it for a good price as well. If you need a floor, whether its carpet, vinyl, wood, or engineered, I would talk to the folks at Madison Carpet in Athens. As far as my wife and I, as well as anyone else weve talked to that have done business with them are concerned, they are the best around.
