Friendly service and an efficient system for getting clients in and out as easily as can be. The technician who performed the work on my vehicle also let me know some tips to save money and informed me that I did not need a new set of tires, only one tire that didnt wear evenly despite it being fairly new. So Im very thankful for that as we all know the cost of 4 New Perelli Run flat tires is close to $1600.00.

We were on a trip from Louisville to Panama City when our tire nearly feel off on the expressway. Thank God for the guys at Express. They drove an hour one way to get us a tire from the Nissan dealership. They also ordered us pizza while we waited. If i could give them 20 stars i would.

My family and I where stranded in Athens Alabama on our way to orange beach and luckily with 4 kids was able to find a room until the morning. I called different company’s for instance Clem tires said they couldn’t help us they where to busy on a Saturday and pep boys tried to say before looking we needed a new engine and nobody wanted to help us in an emergency situation. not Tim here at express oil and tire engeneers he was professional so nice and helpful from the time I called. he answered the phone before they opened said bring it To them and took it out himself (manager) and helped us. This location across from regions bank. Was a bad experience for me that day. They werent attentive at all! When I pulled up I waited for at least 10 minutes for someone to come out take my information for an oil change. Eventually after waiting for 10 minutes I left and went to the other one 72 west. When I pulled up someone came out and immediately took my information. Within 20 minutes I was in and out. They were very professional and friendly.

This Athens location has been great to work with. They answer the phone, give fair quotes on services and Ive never felt pressured into extra repairs. There is even a little waiting area for customers for the other services like tires or brakes. Would recommend to anyone.

Tim Potts the store manager told me they did business the old school way and that was customer service. He was very professional and definitely earned my business even though I have used them for years. I took a car in for oil change that only needed topped off. He topped the car off and would not do an oil change since it was still in the warranty period for the previous oil change. Honesty and dignity with customer service. I recommend stopping in and giving them a chance. Not the cheapest but fair and honest work.

I go here to get my oil changed on a regular basis. When my headlight went out, they got me right in! I sat in the car while they replaced the lights..took all of 10 minutes! This place and all the staff are awesome!

My friend just sent her sibling, who mind you has autism, to go and get an oil change and they did that and then did the windshield wipers without them truly being aware of it. They go on to charge them for it and for everything else. My friend is so mad because of this. Wont be going here for things.

Very pleased with this location! I called today to see if I could have my brakes inspected and they were happy to help on short notice! We really appreciated them taking care of us. They gave our vehicle a detailed inspection and got back to us promptly. We were so thankful for all of their help and showing us they cared! Every mechanic I met was caring, knowledgeable, and showed great customer service! I spoke with Nick on the phone about our quote and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He also personally came out to meet us when we picked up our vehicle! They replaced our front pads and rotors that had hot spots and were cracking + replaced our drums; it is now running smooth and safe! Very thankful. This is a great team! This location left the old seal from the oil filter on when they installed the new one. 5 miles down the interstate I had oil spray all over my engine (no oil pressure) ... They did come clean the oil (best they could) and get me back going, but that’s about it.

Most trustworthy place around. Have gone here for over 13 years. They are honest and wont try to sell services unless they are actually needed. The supervisor, Jimmy, even looked over an estimate from the beach via email. The shop in Perdido was taking advantage of my visitor status, telling me I needed over $2,000 of work done when all I needed was an alternator. I called Express Oil Change in Athens, who kindly looked over the estimate for me. I was able to shave off over $1300 of bogus and excess charges from their advice. When I got back home, I took my car in and Express checked out all the items that I was told needed to be done. None of the those items were necessary. Not only did they save me $1300, but Express did not even charge me that day because technically they didnt fix anything, even though they ran all of the diagnostics and took out 35 minutes of their time checking it out for me.Needless to say... Top notch establishment.

The staff is friendly yes. This is supposed to be an Express business, its not!! For some reason it took an hour and a half to get two new tires. I could have mounted and balanced them myself quicker and Im a girl! Thanks to this EXPRESS Oil I lost my job! Never thought it would have taken so long! Thanks guys, spend $400 just to lose my job! Terrible situation!!

I commute to Tuscaloosa and back daily, 262 miles round trip. These guys keep my car running like a charm! Friendly, courteous service, never the run around that some would give a woman needing car repairs or service. I choose them for everything unless its a rare job they dont do. These folks always take good care of my mom. She has been using them for 6 or 7 years. They alert her to potential problems or maintenance that needs to be scheduled. They never pressure for to add something that is not needed.

Full service with a smile as well as lower cost maintenance repairs. Oil change was quick, checked all fluid levels, washed the windows, greased all my door hinges and even Reset oil Reminder light. Happily will print up any quotes for you of any upcoming maintainence work to be done, per manufacturer warranty.I had spark plugs to put in and they installed them for me at a low hourly rate. Not many mechanic shops put in parts you bought from somewhere else anymore.

I always go here for my oil change. Its very friendly staffed and theyre helpful as well as very knowledgeable in what theyre doing. Definitely one of the best places in Athens if youre looking to get a quick oil change.
