Went in to look at A truck I liked. Recieved very high pressure sales push including calls/messages at all hours of the day and night. After the sale I was informed they ran 6 hard inquiries on my credit driving my score into the gutter. I love the truck and am happy they gave me full trade in for my old one even with multiple issues it had. Despite this I will not be returning.
Best dealership I’ve ever dealt with! We had to have a faulty engine replaced in our 2018 Fusion (we didn’t buy the car here) and after visiting a couple other Ford dealerships, ultimately decided to have them do the work. The work seems perfect! (We’ve only had the car back for a week, but they did everything as perfect as they could). Our service advisor, Nicole, worked with us in arranging payment for the work, and while I didn’t personally talk to her, my husband, who has been a service advisor for Chevy for many years, was extremely impressed with her professionalism and kindness. While we live in Huntsville, we will always take our car back to McClary and Nicole for as long as we have it! Very, very happy with their service!

Took 2 different days off work to get air bag recall replaced not in stock never calledThen made online appointment to get it done and all these free service was not true .no communication from these people I am done .going to another dealership.
Only experience I have had is with the service department. If the computer cant tell them what is wrong with your car, they have nobody there that can help you.

Great place to do business and they had really good deals with the Ford rebates this month. I purchased 2 new vehicles and did the financing through my local bank. My salesman was Max and he was very helpful. He got me the info I needed in a timely manor for my bank and almost everything was done over the phone. Highly Recommend McClary Ford!
This review is based off of four different service appointments. They weren’t all bad, but at times it was impossible to get ahold of anyone in the service department. We figured it was due to understaffing during the Pandemic, so we didn’t think much of it. Unfortunately, this last encounter was less than acceptable for a dealership service department. Our vehicle needed to have some warranty paintwork, the running boards replaced, and the sunroof wasn’t working so we wanted it fixed. We were told it would take five days to be completed start to finish. There was no option for a loaner vehicle so we were stuck finding our own vehicle. Again, minor, but super inconvenient. Fast forward three days and we’re told that they are unable to take care of the paint and that it needed to be handled at a separate appointment, but that everything else will be completed by the end of the fifth day, Friday. So after five days we pick up the truck, and test out the sunroof. The sunroof does not work automatically like it should. We were told by the service manager that a broken part had been found in the track, and had been fixed, but the motor had stopped working at some point. The sunroof was expected to work exactly like it had, but now it will only open if you manually hold the button down. It had been working automatically with one touch. So after five days and 12 hours of labor, we still need to have warranty paintwork done, and have to have the sunroof repaired. Replacing the running boards were the only thing done to completion. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this dealership.As a follow up to this review, the issues continued. Less than three days after picking up our truck, the sunroof got stuck open, and is now completely unusable. We are extremely dissatisfied.
This dealership lies. They post a car on the internet for a really good price. Drive over an hour to the dealership. The car is not there. If you have a car displayed on the internet with pictures and a price and says come and test drive. It should be there to test drive. And the salesman hit me with the door
Nice staff, good selection, but..... the day i went to look (and buy) the finance guy wasnt there, and no one ever called me back. Needless to say they lost a sale.
I was traveling from Maine and developed a problem with my F350 towing a travel trailer. The folks in the service department got me right in to take a look even though it was late on a Friday. They got me back on the road quickly saving my trip. The staff and technician were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks McClary Ford!

This is probably the best ford dealership in Alabama Tennessee Mississippi Georgia or the entire SE. The owner is always there for you and will do his part to help you get into the ride you want. The entire McClary family is a great family and theyve always tried to be there to help you when you need it most. If I could have given them 10 stars Id have gladly given them everyone. They had the ford parts I needed. Good transaction. Also, it was my 1st time there and I didnt know where the parts dept was. I believe it was a manager, think they could tell I was lost. He stopped what he was doing and asked if I needed help and walked me to the parts dept. 👍👍Ill most likely buy my next truck there, if we can work out a deal.
I stopped in today to ask for a code to be read on my 30k mile 2015 F150 as I was over 100 miles away from home. The young lady at the service desk informed me no would could be pulled away long enough to hook up a code reader and that I would have to leave it and pick it up the next day just to have a code read. Wouldnt recommend this place to someone I hate.
Mickey and his staff have provided and continue to provide excellent service on all my Fords for well over 8 years. Theyve gone above and beyond on several occasions ensuring my satisfaction remains their #1 priority. Their sales personnel went the extra mile ensuring my wife drove off the lot in her new Mustang (including matching nail polish) with 100% satisfaction! Maybe a small token of appreciation that started out as a joke, the gesture however, left her with an everlasting positive experience.
I liked the fact the sales people didnt use the pressure you into buying. Very laid back and up to date on thier smarts the vehicles. Makes for a more comfortable atmosphere when buying

Thank you McClary Ford service staff for saving my vacation! My 2001 F250 Super Duty had a break down at the Athens Exit on the way to Florida due to what turned out to be a ruptured fuel filter. This excellent Ford dealer squeezed us in, fixed the problem and had us on the road again in a couple of hours. I couldnt recommend anyone more highly!
If you want to get the run around and play games, go somewhere else. At McClary Ford, they shoot straight with you and don’t waste your time. Fair pricing for your trade and friendly people at every stage. Best place to buy.
I would give zero stars if I could. They have 0 customer service. I have yet to meet an employee there that is courteous or nice. I wouldnt waste my time with them if not for the recalls that I have to take to them.
As always, McClary Ford goes out of their way to provide excellent service. They not only know me by name, but they also know the service needs of my car and truck. I also buy tires from them, their prices are competitive and its convenient to get them serviced along with an oil change.
Beware when buying from here. I bought a 2013 ford F 150 and before the ink was dry it started having problems. It turned out to be a timing belt tensioner a ($4000). I took it to the service department for the repair to be completed. When my truck was returned every time I turned the wheel a loud popping sounds would happen. Next my sunroof broke. That was $1200 repair. Then my truck wouldn’t start and I had to take it back to the service department. Turns out it was a fuel sensor and cost me another $550. This repair took 2 weeks. I was initially told it would only take a few days. That deadline wasn’t met and they missed the next 3 deadlines also. This cost me even more money because I had to rent a car for two weeks. The service department assured me the popping was due to the mechanic not installing the fender liner and the problem was fixed. BS! Out of the 6 months I’ve owned this car I’ve had it in the shop 6weeks of that time. Did I mention now every time I start my truck in the morning it screams for 10 minutes.Don’t buy the junk this dealership sells. Dang sure don’t take your car here to get serviced!!!
I was unimpressed with the Service department at this dealership. I went there today after calling about fluid I saw dripping from the transmission of my 2013 F150. Fords better idea has eliminated the ability of owners to check transmission fluid which I find absurd.When making the appointment, I informed them that I have an extended warranty that covers the drive train but when I arrived I was informed that there would be a $100 charge to investigate the problem. I objected to that and refused to leave my vehicle. If I had been told about this charge when I called, I wouldnt have driven the 40 miles (round trip) to learn about it. I will not be returning to this dealership again.

I had a 9am appointment for The Works and was told to bring my Edge early and they might get to it early. I dropped it off at 8:45am. My wife had followed me in and we went to breakfast. When I came back at 10am, it had just gone on the rack. Finally finished about 10:30. When I went to pay, I was told the special price on The Works had expired a few days before. When I got home, and looked at my mail, there was a coupon for The Works. It only cost me an extra $5, but it would have been nice if the dealer had known the new coupons were coming out and given me credit. Two other points: The waiting room was full and I had to sit in a salesmens chair. It would be nice if you offered a loaner so I could go for breakfast instead of having my wife follow me and then waiting. I know dealers in Huntsville do that.
Service was great and the wait time was reasonable. In addition to the regular service, I asked if they could check a tire with a slow leak. They found the leak and repaired my tire at no charge. We have taken our vehicles to McClarys for seven years and we will continue to do so!
Problem I had was a sticky one needing online input from Ford Tech Support which was not easy to get. Jimmie Fox stayed with it; got it successfully fixed.Folks at McClary have always been friendly, effective, and helpful over the six years Ive lived in this area.
Used to be great, but I felt after the past few services something was different.I tried to remain positive but the last time I brought it in for an A/C check I was told it needed to be replaced at a cost of $1600.No explanation of what the issues were.I had it checked elsewhere and was told the Freon was low.Freon added and now Im enjoying cold air again.
They have a decent selection of new vehicles and some great deals. They dont have high pressure sales tactics which makes the buying experience more enjoyable.

Dont book service online, they wont keep the appointment.Made a service appointment online two weeks ago. Got an email today saying the appointment was canceled.Called to see what was going on, and it seems like online appointments are bumped for people that call. They are booked up tomorrow, even though I made an appointment two weeks ago.

The immediate care, immediate diagnosis and immediate resolution of my vehicles problem (less than 24 hours) that I received from McClary Ford makes me realize that I can trust them to help when I need it. After dealing with the former Ford dealership (the one that is located in tuscumbia), I assumed Id be dealing with lazy and incompetent staff. Jimmy at McCleary Ford changed my mind. Thomas called me yesterday to follow up on my inquiry on a 2012 f150, he told me to come the next day. I live in florence and drove to athens and walked in and asked for Thomas. He walked over to a desk and another man was telling at him and I thought that weird.... Thomas walked outside and said the trucks over there and theres a hold on it and they are waiting for finances to approve and he just goes back inside.... Well, thanks for helping me with something else. So, Im guessing the salesman that yelled at him was the salesman that had it on hold for someone else. We drove around the parking lot looking and got out and no one came outside to help us. My friend went in to get someone and as he was walking out he didnt know she was with me so he gets Thomas and then Thomas walks over and I said you just left me out here. And he turns around and walks away... I was like ok??? The other salesman came out and he acted like he didnt want to help me. Not to mention when I called yesterday the ladies sound irritated on the phone, like you are bothering them by calling.... I wont be doing business here at all. Good luck to anyone that does.
