Took my car to them, was a preferred place for my insurance. I told the insurance I wanted to come to Athens Collision Repair. Took it in got an estimate the day the deer and I met on the road lol and was pretty quick. Chris was very nice. Did other paper work after and we were looking at appointments. He said well if I brought it in they could try to work on it in between other jobs. And a job that might take 1 week could b 2. I was very happy to get a call a week from the day I dropped it off saying it was done and ready to pick up :) and it looked like the day I brought the car home, Very Happy vehicle Owner thank you Athens Collision Repair

I took my car into their shop on October 7th after having a collision. I was told my appointment wouldn’t be until a month later on November 23rd due to them being backed up. I never received calls or updates on what’s going on with my vehicle and always have to call them to track down information. Every call it’s we’re waiting on parts and stuff is back ordered. It’s now been 3 months since I initially dropped my car off and it’s still not done. I wouldn’t recommend this body shop to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or have your car towed to another shop. Worst experience ever.

The work they do is terrific. However, the customer service needs improvement. Poor communication (no followup, rude, combative) and just way off on estimated completion time frames. Again, work is good -- the real deal.

We recently had our car repaired at Athens Collision Repair, the manager and staff were courteous and professional. The manager answered our questions and ordered the parts quickly and our car was repaired on-time and looked great. Thank you for your wonderful service and commitment to your customers!

I would highly recommend Donwood Athens Collision Repair. They repaired the front bumper of my 2010 ford mustang and did excellent job. It is worth the wait to have them fix your car.

I have had the absolute worst experience with dealing with this shop and the manager. They have had my car for 8 weeks. I have had the worst customer service throughout this entire process. I was in an automobile accident back in September and was advised by the insurance company to take it to this body shop. I wish I would have read the reviews and did my homework before agreeing for my vehicle to be taken there. I have called weekly and each time given the run around by Chris, or I would leave multiple voicemails and wouldnt hear back from him, then when I would finally get a call it would be yet another excuse as to why my car isnt finished. Last week, I was told the car was almost finished and he would call me to come get it. yet again, I was told it would need yet something else and needed to be cleaned. so I FINALLY, get the call today 11/20/18 to come pick my car up. I go in there and was thanked for being so patient with them, he told me how extremely busy they have been (apparently my car wasnt priority even after sitting there for 2 months) had me sit down and sign some paper without even allowing me to look at my car first. I go out to get in my car, and it did not even start. not only did the car not start, the car is filthy ( I was told it would be cleaned and has about 2 months of dust sitting on the dash) . I was then told that it must be the battery and he would use a jumper box to get it running, then told that the tech that worked out in had to jump it every time he moved it (okay so why not check the battery??) At this point I am pretty upset yet again, and terrified that I may get to work or somewhere else and be stranded, more concerned by the thought of being stranded somewhere with my kids in the car with me. I talk to the manager to see about having the battery checked and he says they dont do that there, I then request for a brand new battery which I am told insurance wouldnt cover the cost. I then advise him that my car ran and drove perfectly prior to the accident and I had no problems with the battery before this. I am outraged, my car has been sitting at this shop for 8 WEEKS and still isnt finished!!! This will be my first and LAST time dealing with them.

Dealing with this shop was a nightmare. I left my car with them after it was in an accident and I had to leave town for a few days. I called them and left all my information about myself and the vehicle. When I returned and hadn’t received a call I reached out again and only then did they finally look at my car to give me an estimate. I accepted the estimate and they said they would get started the next week. Each time I called they told me they would have it done by the end of the week but, shortly thereafter, called me back to tell me they would in fact not be able to complete it that week and would have it done the following week. They did this several times, it took them a total of 6 weeks to deal with my vehicle, and to make things worse they did not even complete the job. I finally had enough and because I could not wait any longer I picked up my car, not completely fixed, and drove it home to be worked on by another shop who could fix my vehicle. The new shop not only fixed what this shop had failed to but found other problems that Athens collision repair flat out ignored. I am extremely dissatisfied with this business and have never seen such lack of effort, nor have I been treated with such lack of care.

Athens Collison repair is an amazing place to take my car when I was so upset from a deer hitting my car .they was so helpful didnt have any stress at all .it looked amazing when the was done fixing it and it was in good time .thank you all so much .....

I wrecked my car and took my car to athens collision repair in athens ohio. They was cheap, quick and very efficient. I couldnt be happier on how my car looks. It looks brand new :)I recommend this service to all my friends, family and even strangers. Thank you guys so much!!!

I find the customer service to be completely unprofessional. There service is extremely slow and they do not call you, you must call them. I will spread the word and will defiantly not recommend this place.

Great place.. they did exactly what they quoted and the time frame.

Very poor communication. Leave you waiting a long time, dont answer calls, rude reception, always acting as if your inquiries are an imposition. And very two faced, telling you one thing while working against you at the same time.

Extremely slow to repair vehicle. Took 17 days for a 5-day repair estimate, which meant insurance would not fully cover my rental vehicle.

Couldn’t ask for better service AND work!
