Every time is a comfortable experience, and great atmosphere! When you stop in, you are made to feel right at home. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. You are treated as if everything in the shop is your personal collection, and they are happy to take care good care. A nice selection of variety and quality. Definitely worth taking the time to stop by.

This is NOT a new Guitar Dock for Lenexa, KS. I got a PayPal offer for $25 off at this store. The terms of the offer did not specify what had to be purchased. I went to the store and was going to redeem the offer, and the Owner told me the offer was only good for online purchases of guitars. The old BAIT AND SWITCH. I had my eye on one of their Vola guitars...but an experience like this makes me hesitate to do business there.

Scott at Muddy River Guitars is great and trustworthy. Purchased a mandolin. Scott was transparent and honest in describing the instrument, fair on price, responsive in prepping the instrument and fast with setup and shipment. Arrived as expected and exceeded my expectations. Upstairs above a furniture & antiques shop is this great musical stringed instrument shop with quality guitars and banjos, stritings and supplies. They have a friendly sales staff who know a lot. It is a clean and comfortable living room atmosphere, with a weekly jam night for local musicians. It is easy to find the right banjo or guitar here.

Great selection of guitars, and ukeleles. The guy working there, Brian, was friendly and is more than willing to help you find something. There is also a open mic time at 2pm every first Saturday of the month!
