I give three stars because Kyle is honestly the best. He always tried his best to help me fix the car I purchased at Pflum’s (which is pretty much the same business) and he would never overcharge me. That being said, I would recommend not buying a car here. My mom bought a car here awhile ago and it had issues often, but not too bad so I bought a car here myself. It was a lemon. After interest, I spent about $4,000 on the car itself. However I spent over $1,000 in repairs and the car died on me. It lasted about a year and a half before it died, and in the time it did drive, I had broken down on the side of the road at least three times with very expensive repairs. If you wanna get a car here, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you want to get a repair here, I would recommend!

Terrible service. Incompetent secretary got the model of car wrong nearly every time she called, said it could stay over the weekend and I could speak with the owner to discuss paying in installments only to call back twenty minutes later to brow beat me in to picking the car up that day, paid in full. She also tried to charge me for a catalytic converter ($390) TWICE because her credit machine didnt spit out a receipt despite me showing the charge to my account on my phone. When the owner came (to clear things up, I assumed), he tried to get me to pay again as well! I eventually showed him the screen showing the charge and said Look, I gave you your money already, man. To which he replied Oh, dont be one of those whiners! and walked off, telling the secretary not to give me my (legally required) receipt!To their credit the mechanic seemed like a nice enough guy, knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. All told, I truly hope I never have to work with Atascadero Muffler again. One good mechanic can do good work, but its not worth the logistical shitshow.

Horrible horrible... Big cheats and liars-- when they tell you something dont believe them! They said the vehicle has to be 100% safe to be sold and less than a week after buying the rear end almost blew up and was too unsafe to drive home. When confronted with this issue they simply stated that they had given us a good deal on the sale... We bought it at a Kelly blue book price for a car dealer to sell... We could have saved thousands from purchasing from a private party. Initial cost after purchase just to get the truck in SAFE running condition: $2700!
