We value and appreciate atascadero hay and feed! They have great quality stuff and are very knowledgeable! We have goats, chickens, and a bunny, and stop in often for regular things as well as fun things!

Im very happy that I tried this place. I typically had gone to the Big Box farm store in Paso for livestock handling equipment but my wife told me that they were super nice here so I figured that it was closer and if the prices were anywhere close, Id give them the business. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly good morning and asked if they could help me find anything. I told them what I was after and much to my surprise, the exact same items were several dollars less than they were advertised for at the Big Box farm supply store. I went to look around for some other parts that were germane to my project and the lady behind the counter told me that those items were included with the original items that I was purchasing. Thats very cool in that she took enough of an interest and had the knowledge of her products to save me an unnecessary purchase that either would sit in my barn forever or involve another run to town to return them! The icing on the cake was that after I had paid and went to my truck to load up, the loading was already done. I had been a bit concerned about that aspect as I had recently had a rather extensive surgery done on my arm and wasnt quite sure how I was going to load the items into my truck with one arm! I am very pleased that I supported a small local business and will definitely be back.

I drove 2 hours away from home to get their chicks! The lady with the green shirt black hair that was calling out for the people on the list for chicks was amazing and very kind. She knew I was the person who drove 2 hours away her words were more than a customer to me. More of a friend. It was my first time coming here and definitely wont be my last. They had a lot to choose from and store was well organized and clean.Thank you again! Will see you soon ! Love this store ❤️

Unfortunately the ladies at this place are so unpleasant and indisposed. I changed store so that shopping for my animals would ruin my whole day. I was driving over 45 minutes to go shop here, leaving over $100 each time.It is sad how some people can’t just leave their bad moods and frustration at home!? That’s not the way you run a business with the public, really. Besides it isn’t that hard of a job yours people.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, I always get immediate and focused attention, and they have a huge inventory. They have also mailed me items via phone order and were very helpful and prompt about it.

My dog is happy, and this is my GOTO place for my dog food. Nice people, always helpful loading, and every tenth bag is free. Too Cool!

I like to buy big bags of dog food here. They have all the good brands. The store is mostly for larger, ranch type animals though. Friendly and helpful staff!

Wide variety of supplies for many different animal types and their needs along with super friendly staff weve grown to love getting to see every week as they always remember what our purchase is going to be and are always more than happy to help us get it loaded up.

Ive been a customer of Atascadero Hay and Feed for years. They have a great selection of feed and products, and the best selection of chicks around. I just purchased a Traeger smoker from AHF and they even assembled it for me.
