So thankful to find this art store while in the area. It had the higher quality materials I was looking for. The owner was very nice to talk with and even helped me with a hanging wire on my finished painting.
Weve had two items framed at The Artery now. Zoe has a very good eye and makes some great recommendations as to frame options. Very easy to book an appointment via their website due to COVID. We will definitely go back and highly recommend The ARTery and Zoe.
It pains me to give a bad review of a family owned local business. I dropped off a golf ball, score card and flag for my sons hole-in-one. I asked for it to be nicely displayed in a frame. 4 months later I had still heard nothing so I asked for the items back to go somewhere else. I received a very nice note saying were so sorry, we will finish this in a just a few days. And they did. And they billed me $675. To frame a golf ball, score card and pin flag. The work was nicely done, and I believe they are nice people. But to spend four months with no contact to frame something, and the invoice me for $675 is stunning. We simply never would have agreed to spend that amount of money to frame something. When I complained about the entire experience, they did reduce the price- to $595. I am not saying you shouldnt use them. But if you do, demand a written estimate for both turn around time and cost before agreeing to anything, or 4 months later youll pay $600 for a frame.
Fabulous craftmanship! I had an odd sized rug framed. When I brought it in it was not really in frame-ready shape (dirty, needed trimming). They took the extra time to put it in the best shape for framing. They also worked within my budget to help me pick out a frame that I liked. Great people and attention to detail.
Charming local art store, with great people. I was in town to paint a mural and they had everything I needed including a helping hand. I live in LA where people have no time for anybody, the world needs more of these!
Always friendly and helpful
