Know that if you use this business and something is defective with your mattress, that you will not get any help from the owner. He will claim he has no responsibility and that there are no options to assist you other than to wait months, with no clear delivery date, for a replacement.I bought a mattress months ago and waited 7 weeks for it to come. I was in pain from an old mattress and made it clear I needed a new one ASAP. After sleeping in it a few nights, the surface had ripples in it and was clearly defective even to the business owner. He would not refund my money instead saying he had no options and that I had to wait for a replacement via warranty.I’ve now been waiting another two months and am in excruciating pain from the bed. I finally had to remove it last night and try to sleep on an old twin mattress. I am now having fairly severe back and pelvic pain.I never heard a single update from the owner. When I called I just got excuses. Granted, covid has changed the length of time but there is no excuse for selling mattresses that you cannot guarantee delivery of.I went to the owner of Ashland Appliance and asked him to refund my money and just sell the new one when it came to him. There is no prognosis of when it will be here and no response from the manufacturer ( American Bedding, stay away from them too!) he refused and again said he had no responsibility for the mattress.Any business that profits from its sales has some responsibility, period. I suggest you find a business that stands behind their sales.

We went to Ashland Appliances and Mattress because our fridge of 34 yrs suddenly stopped. Joel was most helpful in showing us models he had in stock. Price and choices were competitive and we are pleased with our purchase. He was even able to deliver it to us sooner than we expected - the same day! Delivery crew was competent and professional. I went into Ashland Appliances just to “look around” and ended up purchasing a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas stove, and a microwave/vent. Joel was very helpful but not “pushy”, and took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. I was very excited to receive my purchases.They arrived yesterday in perfect condition. The installers did a wonderful job and were pleasant to work with.It was determined that the microwave I had purchased was not designed to fit where I had imagined it. The installers returned it to Joel and he promptly refunded the cost no questions asked .I have nothing but positive things to say about Joel and his employees...He will have my business for any future needs.

Not a good experience at all, was told on phone there was two certain refridgerators in stock, but on arrival we were told they were in a warehouse (somewhere ) but one on the floor looked similar inside, he never even bothered to get up from hes desk, we bought from Lowes

Joel was an angel to work with, even let me pay weeks after it had all been delivered because I didn’t have all the money at the time. He was amazing. Simply phenomenal. Our refrigerator broke the Friday before Thanksgiving. Until we talked to Joel, we had resigned ourselves to making it through the holiday without a working fridge. Joel was an absolute lifesaver! Not only was he able to recommend a model that works perfectly for us, he made sure our new unit was delivered the Monday before the holiday. The installation technician was also awesome. He needed to remove a door to get the refrigerator into our home, noticed a bad screw, and replaced it when he reinstalled the door. You really cant ask for better or quicker service. 10/10 stars!

There has been a shortage of appliances the last few months. I was recently moving and needed a new washer and dryer. Joel not only got me exactly what I needed but he got it to me fast. The installation technician did a wonderful job. I always bring my business to them first because I know I will be treated right, they listen to what I want and they have the upmost integrity.

I cant believe Im saying this about an Appliance store, but everything about my experience there was superlative. I had a Miele dryer damaged in shipment from another company and AA&M facilitated a surprisingly quick replacement delivery to my home, along with an early delivery of a KitchenAid appliance. The delivery crew were cool expert guys: no more Home Depot or Lowes for me, and Joel at AA&M beat those big box prices as well.

If youre looking for a new mattress, this is the place to go! Joel is very knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient as I tried numerous floor models and asked endless questions. I insisted that I needed a very firm, indeed, extra firm mattress (despite his gentle warnings that it may be too firm for me) and sold it to me at an affordable price. After 2 nights sleep on the mattress I thought I wanted, I realized that he was right and it was too firm. Joel was very accommodating and offered an exchange to another mattress that was still firm but also had a luxurious cushion on top. The delivery guys were professional and kind as they called with notice of arrival, arrived in the window given and muscled the mattress up the hill/stairs to my bedroom (both times). The whole experience was a real treat and I would HIGHLY recommend that you check them out for your next mattress! Sleep well!

I went in, thinking it would probably be a more expensive store than if I went to Medford. Wrong. After some research I ended up getting everything I needed at Ashland A and M. Joel Jessee, the owner, is ready to make a deal, and as he says, he doesnt run specials all the time; his everyday prices are special. He handles the brands we all want and has found some new ones. And he will give you the best price. Also, if anything goes awry, Joel sends in his brother Elijah, who was able to construct the perfect hood for my new stove. This family-owned operation is full service, very friendly service, with the best merchandise. I highly recommend Ashland Appliance and Mattress.

We bought a $6000 mattress that we had tried but over the course of the year, we did not like it. We came back and bought another $2000 mattress that we liked a lot better on the condition they would resell our original one, which was the promise when we bought it.After the owner (Josh?) telling us when we had originally bought it that we could always get $2000 if we resold it there, when we brought it back for the new one, he told us HE could get $2000 and we would only get $1000.About 3-4 months later, I called to see what happened. The salesman there told me it had been sold. I asked why the check hadnt been sent and to please do so. I got back about three weeks later and still no check so I went in. It turns out the owner had sold it about a month before my call and the check was there in the desk drawer--for $500!! The salesman told me that he couldnt sell it for $2000, that he could only get $1000 so the owner just did it. He NEVER even called me to see if it was okay, and of course he NEVER even bothered to send the check.This is a hustler scam artist posing as a loving Christian businessman. That would be a joke if he wasnt costing us so much time and money with his lies and unethical behavior.

We had a great experience with Ashland Appliance. From sales (Joel) to installation (Brett and Cornelius). We planned on buying a dishwasher but bought all new appliances. Dishwasher, cooktop, refrigerator and microwave/oven combination. Much cheaper than WCA. Friendly service and great follow through. I will definitely shop there again!

If I was going to buy a bed in Ashland, this is where Id go. They were helpful and friendly, showing us the different attributes of the different beds and even telling us where we could go to buy things they didnt offer when we asked. They were also friendly.They were certainly MUCH BETTER than a certain furniture store down the street which would barely give us the time of day and wouldnt show us a picture of one of the frames because you know what it looks like.

My husband and I are so pleased with our new Posh & Lavish mattress, we cant believe what a difference it has made to waking up without pain. What took us so long? (Our old mattress was 20+ years old.)No more pain in the back, shoulders or hips. We are also so glad to not have bought a product made of petroleum.This was our first time in Ashland Appliance and Mattress. Joel Jessee educated us on the mattresses we reviewed, Alan also was very customer service-oriented in arranging our delivery time and payment. Joel stayed late at closing time to accommodate my husbands schedule which we really appreciated. During the decision-making process Joel was not pushy about buying the more expensive mattress. In fact he never even suggested it. We came in planning to spend a certain amount on a certain type of mattress and when I asked Joel, if money were no object, what would you recommend? From Joel we learned about the difference between the latex and wool mattress of Posh & Lavish and the standard mattress we were considering. The warranty for a standard mattress being 7-10 years and for the latex mattress, 20 years. When we did the math, it was the same price so why wouldnt you go for the much longer warranty and healthier mattress?Cost. We couldnt afford the Posh & Lavish because it was twice the price. But Joel was fabulous for finding a way for us to get 0% financing which sealed the deal.The delivery men were very respectful and right on time, we could not have had a better experience. And, we are both sleeping so much better than we imagined possible. We feel like we made a great decision, thanks to Joel and Ashland Appliance and Mattress.

I bought the Pure Latex Bliss Beautiful mattress and could not be happier! The buying experience was simple, the staff were very helpful, and the mattress is the most comfortable weve ever had. I only wish we would have done this sooner!

I called Ashland Appliance and Mattress for service on my broken dryer. The service tech was professional and on time, he went above and beyond trying to fix my dryer. When it became clear replacing the dryer was the right choice I purchased my new dryer and gas range here.

Ashland App. and Mattress is our go to local store. In the past we bought an appliance at the big store in Medford. What a nightmare that ended up being, their service dept was severely lacking. Thank goodness we found Ashland Appliance and Mattress. The folks there are very helpful, knowledgable, not at all pushy and their service is top notch. I highly recommend them!!.

Really disappointed with the (lack of) customer service. I bought a range with an estimated delivery time of one week. I called them back two weeks later and they said the product had got damaged on the way - no explanation as to why I wasnt notified. They said theyd call me back with the new ETA. Having not heard from them, I called two days later to discover it would be weeks before the order would be in. After numerous further calls, I cancelled the order.
