I lost a wallet recently and wanted my new one to feel like an investment. The level of service in the store was really lovely: I was not pushed into anything, but I was offered several options for my custom job. Feeling and seeing the leathers wasn’t like, a life changing experience. But it was nice, and made me feel like I had agency in the wallet I would ultimately receive. Even better, despite an estimate that my job would be done in 2 weeks, my wallet was done in 3 days. I highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful experience today in the shop with Sage. I had a custom-made collar for my dog made previously and went in to get the matching leash. She spent time with a friend of mine and I and helped us with everything we needed. The work is beautiful and we will always have a great experience here.

Great experience! Visited back In June from Florida with my mother and sold us some nice Hides and gave some great advice! And they were so sweet to my daughter! Talked to her all about stones and gems! Then let her pick out a small one to take home!!! Really nice people!!

Bought my son a belt buckle they made him the belt for a custom fit. Has a 10 year warranty and with a teenager that is helpful. Customer service was great made him feel very comfortable and he was very happy when we left.

Awesome shop, better people. Keiran and Leah were so much fun helping us get oriented to the store. Our only complaint was after almost four hours in the store we walked out with way too many amazing belt buckles, belts and two custom sandal orders. 😯🙃 Beware with these awesome two, you may end up with a lifetime supply of belts and buckles! The quality of the shop is top notch - so glad to have these crafts people in our state.

These folks are second to none, they are master craftsman. Do not hesitate to commission a job with them, you will not regret it.

Everytime we visit Asheville, we HAVE to go here to look at all of their belt buckles. They are a bit pricey, but great quality and unique pieces. My husband always ends up buying at least one! I would LOVE to get a pair of their handmade shoes one day! They custom fit them to your foot, right there in the store. We saw a couple ordering a pair. What an awesome experience!

Customer service was not good. Found a belt that was on sale that I loved and asked if it could be cut off to fit me (because it was too big) and I was 100% willing to pay extra for this, but got cut off by one of the employees that stated they do not do that for sale belts. I will not be back because of this. I still purchased the belt and cut it off to fit when I got home, but the customer service of this store has really gone down hill.

Just wanted to say thanks to the team at Paul Taylor, providing exceptional quality products and doing a rush order for a now discontinued item to meet a gift deadline for me. We visited in person a few years back and Ive been ordering pieces and will continue to do so since.

High quality leatherwork at reasonable prices. I had a very old Navaho conch belt with worn leather that no longer fit me. Not only was the replacement leather of the highest quality, the team at Paul Taylor mounted the conches and polished them. And they put the belt in a quality linen bag for storage. Highly recommend!!!

In two pairs of Paul Taylor sandals. One pair Ive had since 1992 and I still wear them.

Traveled two hours to have custom leather work performed, only to never have the store open. Website and phone says they are open seven days a week from 11a-6p. The owner did return a call the next day with a apology, a excuse and a desire to sale me something over the phone. Serious. Wish I could show up to work whenever.
