Not only is James and his team extremely communicative and transparent with the process, the product is flawless. Trust me, Ive tried ALL of the other brands and aluminum guitars, and this is in a different league. The weight is perfect, the feel is familiar, the tone is tremendously piano-like, and guess what? It stays in tune! This is my first but definitely not my last purchase with Aluminati.
I’ve had my Andromeda bass neck for about three months now. I cannot say enough good things about this thing!! So much more sustain, no truss rod adjustments, will take CRAZY low action (even though that’s not my thing), perfect neck profile, etc.Bolt on nut for easy replacement. Weighs less than my original neck. I just freaking love it! About to order another one for my next build. 6 out of 5 stars!!
Love this company. Love their guitars, and their customer service is unmatched. If you are in the market for aluminum, or customizing your current rig, look no further.
The first night I sat down and really had a session with my new Aluminati guitar neck was nothing short of a religious experience. Ive been playing guitar for 17 years and Ive never felt such limitless potential on a guitar.I urge any skeptics not to make the same mistake I did in thinking that this is some kind of gimmick. These guitar necks are precision tools designed to take you as far as you want to go with your playing.
A uniquely beautiful guitar. The lightweight aluminum neck creates an amazing tone, and doesn’t strain your shoulders at all. Not to mention it is an absolute piece. If you play live people will certainly approach you with questions. Highly recommend:)
How do I even begin to rave about Aluminati?1. James Little, who I assume is the owner/president of Aluminati, is amazing. He hooked me up with a great deal for buying in bulk and even sent me some extra/free stuff. He always replies to emails quickly, sometimes in as little as a few minutes. Top Tier customer service. Now lets get to the products. I now own 3 Nebula necks and 4 AlumniCrown bridges. Everything is made in Asheville, North Carolina USA. The fit and finish on everything is impeccable. Iv been doing different mods to my stratocaster for 20 years and the Aluminati neck and bridge really took my guitar to the next level. I finally felt like the instrument was complete. I played an Alef aluminum neck guitar and it was WAY heavier than a Nebula neck. Aluminati necks have all the advantageous tonal and durability properties of aluminum without the extra weight of most other after market aluminum necks. I love the look of a 3 x 3 headstock on a stratocaster. People see it and are like wow what kind of guitar is that. So yeah, I absolutely love Aluminati. You could buy your gear from a huge company with automated customer service or you could buy from Aluminati where the owner will answer your phone calls/ emails. Nuff said, if you play guitar and are into aluminum builds, make a purchase. You wont be disappointed.
I ordered a black-anodized Nebula aluminum guitar neck from Aluminati, and I haven’t regretted it a single day since. I attached it to a Squier telecaster body with minimal luthier experience and within minutes, I had an exceptionally playable, resonant guitar in my hands. One of the common effects of aluminum guitars is they are more susceptible to temperature changes, thus making it difficult to hold tune for about 30 minutes, as the metal adapts to the temperature. The Nebula neck has a carbon fiber fretboard, which helps stabilize tuning greatly—I’m always shocked when I pick up the tele after a few weeks and it’s still in tune. What’s more, James the owner has been quite wonderful since I bought the neck, keeping it touch semi-regularly to see how everything is. If you’re looking to build an aluminum neck guitar, or interested in one of his unique complete guitar builds, you’d be hard pressed to find a better experience or a higher quality instrument.
