Very good work done on a vinyl jacket (shortening sleeves), shortened the inseam on a pair of my Riggs Ranger pants and now they fit great. Ill be taking all my work pants there from here on out. π
Do not go here if youβre a bride. The owner is really rude and condescending. She makes you feel terrible about the dress you choose. I asked for a simple bustle and she said that she will be doing it a different way and that she knows what women wantβ¦ The owner argues with her assistant(who is actually a nice lady and actually stood up for me). Very unprofessional, disrespectful, and makes you feel like youβre just being a bother to her. Also my dress broke in about every place they altered, no other place than where they touched. Safety pins were my best friend at my wedding. The hem at the bottom of the dress was a completely different color. She thinks very highly of herself and doesnβt listen. In her mind she makes no mistakes and it is what it is. You also have to pay upfrontβ¦ if you donβt like it, oh well. Go elsewhere.
The lady that owns this place is very rude! Took my daughter in to have her wedding dress alterations done and they totally ruined her dress! I would leave zero stars if I could!!!They where just suppose to hem the front and shorten the shoulder straps. Paid 250.00 in advance, picked up the dress the day before the wedding. Day of wedding she puts it on and They CUT the sheer part of her long TRAIN OFF!!! and to make it worse sewed it back up with BLACK thread!!! The first shoulder strap broke off while she was dancing the father daughter dance and the second shoulder strap popped off an hour after that!!!! Poor kid has safety pins all over to hold straps on and the back of her dress up that they also butchered!!! Will never recommend this place to anyone!!!!! Photos to come
Does good work. But not a good experience.. Have to have 10 to spend on card. So i was pushed to buy an item. A balloon for my 3 year old sounded great. The balloon is old and worn out, i could tell. Before I was able to get onto the interstate it popped. Daughter was EXTREMELY UPSET. Bring cash! π©
Super nice people and they did great work for me. I needed some shirts embroidered for work and I brought them a digital file with the design. The work was great and price was very reasonable. Recommended.
I was in Asheville for a visit and my daughter needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed for a wedding. I thought I might be able to do it but it had 5 layers and was above my skill level. We only had 1 day to get it hemmed. I called A Stitch In Time and they graciously said they would hem it for me that day! They did a beautiful job and the dress looked perfect.
Friendly staff excellent service.
I saw that this facility was selling mask and I was interested in purchasing some for a few family members. I checked out the reviews as I do a lot of places that I purchase things from, especially small business owner since I am one myself. I saw the multiple mixed reviews and thought, oh well give it a try. Well I place a call, when the lady answered the phone it was sort of in a tone of urgency, so not knowing if she was very busy, I then proceeded to ask her if they were still making mask, and if they had them in stock do to the fact of them being in such high demand? I thought they may be backed up and having to take orders being such a small establishment. I then proceed to ask her if they have solid colors and prints. Well each time I tried to ask a question I was interrupted. The lady said to me in a very impolite tone, youll just have to come and see, we got what we got, we got male and we got female. Ok first off, if someone is call and inquiring about my product, I am going to give them all the information I can in the most polite way I can because I want their business. Second off time is to short to be rude to people because you never know what someone is going through. Treat people the way you want to be treated. I am going to PRAY for this woman. I dont know her nor her name but God does and he knows why she is so bitter and angry. Its we the people who have kept her in business this long she needs to be appreciative for each and every phone call, drop in referral etc. that she gets. She also needs to be aware that BAD REVIEWS are not good for business.
Got two leather bags fix at a fair price. Very lovely staff
Take your business elsewhere - this lady is rude and impolite. Her tone is disrespectful and condescending; it is almost as if she is begging you not to give her business. Even the signs on the door and checkout counter are discourteous. One would think that she wouldnβt be so patronizing with such a messy place to do business. Masks are overpriced!
Customer service was awesome and they had some cute masks for guys and gals. They will also fit the mask to your face!
THE RUDIST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!! THE OLD WOMAN THAT OWNS THE PLACE HAS BEEN RUDE FOR 20 YEARS!! SHE ACTS LIKE SHES DOING YOU A FAVOR INSTEAD OF APPRECIATING YOUR BUSINESS AND THEIR MASKS FOR $10 IS HORRIBLE! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.....ANYWHERE ELSE!
Stopped in to have my bag embroidered and it turned out wonderful. It was done in less than a day. Thank you!
I wouldnt buy no mask from them .they are 10.00 each and I got 4 and when I got home they didnt fit they was all different sizes even though they say they only make one size so when I took them back to see if they would fix them they wouldnt so now Ive spent alot of money and cant even wear them and also my mom who has heart problems cant either. so unless you have money to throw away then I wouldnt buy them there
Took over 20 motorcycle patches in, along with my high quality, very thick leather motorcycle jacket. Due to where I wanted the patches, they had to open up the sleeves. They did a terrific job! Almost 2 years later, my jacket is tight and well fitting as it was new. No loose stitching or frays. I no longer live in NC but my experience with them was so rewarding, I think about them often when putting on my jacket. Couldnt have been happier. Great job!
Great service and staff. Custom work and great care taken. Remember you pay for what you get...
Awesome place!Elaine and Becky are great.Best quality work in this area for sure!
Absolutely outrageous. I wish I could leave 0/5 stars. Never go here. Paid $300 for embroidery on a jacket. Paid up front. Went in to pick it up and the embroidery craftsmanship is shoddy at best. Underlying colors showing through different areas of the piece. Shapes misaligned and underlying colors exposed around the edges. I asked them if they could fix some of the more obvious errors and the lady pulled out a pack of sharpies and tried to color in the errors. I said that I didnβt want her to color with markers on my $100 jacket with $300 embroidery. Gave me a very dirty look and told me there was nothing they could do. Said βthatβs how the computer stitched itβ. Did NOT care about helping to correct their mistakes at all. No attempt to figure out a solution with me, give any sort of refund or valid repair, not even a sorry that the jacket and patch was messed up so much. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!! Rude staff and extremely poor work for a very high price. I basically wasted $400 because the work is so poor and the patch has puckered the jacket, I never ever wear it. Do not make the mistake of giving them your money and trust.
I love this place, they are very fast and the quality of their work is amazing. The ladies that work there are always so kind and welcoming and the communication as to when items are ready or any issues are always done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them.
I bought a wedding dress online (first mistake!) & the bust area of the dress wasnt big enough (even though I sent my measurements!) so I brought my dress to this place for them to change the bust area & when I explained what I wanted, they assured me they could take care of it. Then when I went to pick it up, all they had done was put some more material at the top of the dress that didnt even look like it was supposed to go there. It looked bad! When I nicely explained this was not what I asked for, they told me it was good enough & what I asked for couldnt be done. They were very rude about it & talking OVER me & interrupting! They were totally nice until I had a problem. I just wish they wouldve told me it couldnt be done BEFORE I paid them. Of course they wouldnt refund my money. So the entire process was just pointless. I ended up selling that dress to someone else with a smaller chest & buying a whole new dress that I tried on in person!
Embroidered a blanket for me. It was done before the alloted time. Their work is excellent. They were very helpful with picking thread colors and patient with all my questions. I will definitely return there and recommend them.
Great masksGoing back for more on 5 15 2020.
Excellent work! There is no other place I would get my clothes altered at. The logos are a work of art. The owner is an amazing artist. I support small business owners!
Beware! Do not make the mistake we did.Ordered 20 so called p
Charging 10+tax for homemade masks is price gouging.I hope karma ruins you.
Elaine is a SUPERB GIFTED lady whom can alter ANYTHING.She has altered many many clothing items for me.I have more clothing items to take over.
If I could give nothing I would, I came here last year for my sons birthday present for a design I created to be put on a backpack. They were quite snippy and rude then, but they got the job done. Almost a year later I am about to get married and asked about another project, though hesitate seeing all these poor reviews, I got some information anyway ... When they called me back about my design for my most recent project the lady who called was playing telephone with another rude associate who I could hear the entire time with every question I had about how to make this work. Customer service alone this place is the worst and they are quite pricey for the mess of shop you have to walk into and rude attitude. It is unfortunate because there is not very many embroiders in the area for personalized projects, I highly suggest never to step foot or even attempt to get involved with these ladies.
The absolute worst service I have ever had in my life. I have never been treated so badly by a so-called business owner, The lady working slung my stuff across the counter at me and cursed at me over a mistake that they made. They refused to fix the item that I had taken in there and would not reimbursed my money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are very unprofessional.
This place isnβt worth one star.... Very disrespectful business! Charge my teenage daughter $35 to embroider her name on a belt and then didnβt do what she ask !! Then argued with her Removed what had been done and threw it back across the counter and didnβt give her her money back.... she left in tears.... π‘π€¬π‘
Very professional and knowledgeable doing what needs to be done to get the job done right.
These folks are terrific. Formal wear, a simple hem, no problem with anything. Reliable, dependable, efficient.
Good, quick, friendly service
BEWARE!!! This place is a joke and when you explain to these ladies about how there work wasnt done right they have a thousand excuses. Im not one to right reviews but ppl you will WAIST your money here.
Did a good job stitching up a heavy duty cotton belt used on a medical device. It has torn in another spot, and I will return to have them fix this too.
Horrible experience, maybe more like a nightmare with an insane owner of this place! The owner argued with me on the length I wanted on my dress first of all. Then when I picked it up and actually looked at it the hemline was very uneven and chopped up, even the stitching was uneven! Took it back, hung it up on the hanger pole and the owner immediately started raising her voice at me telling me that the dress hem would be straight when I put it on. I do know something about sewing, if the hem is uneven hanging on the hanger it will be uneven on a body as well. She was rude and demeaning to me. Critizing my parenting, saying that I shouldnt have an attitude in front of my kids (my daughter and her friend) when she was the one flinging her arms and yelling!. When I put the dress on for her as she insisted in a non polite way she asked her employee for a knife which I dont know what she was going to do with a knife on my dress hem! Then when I was so frusterated with her I told her not to touch my dress that I was done with this pointless mess I went to change out of to the dress I heard her telling my daughter and her friend to get out of her shop and my daughter asked why and she said because I said so. My kids never even said anything to her for her to run them outside. This woman is insane and does dirty business with people, refuses to refund your money and does poor quality work. I have never been treated so badly from a business owner in all my life. I would never refer anyone to this place, ever! This place needs to be shut down.
Terrible customer service. Not helpful when trying to ask for assistance with monogramming items. Not very apathetic either if you are unhappy with a finish product. Will not be using them again.
Best little alterations place in town. Whatever you need, done right.
BEWARE! If this shop was next door (which, in my case it is) it would be NOT WORTH THE WALK. Patches are never sewn on straight. Owner will argue and quibble with you about it and outright refuse to fix it.How are they still in business???
Awful. My wardrobe was ruined.
