As you can tell from most of the reviews, the ordering service is atrocious. People losing 20% off returns. Things never showing up. Its happened to so many of my friends that I shouldve known better than to have someone order me something. I wouldve ordered through my account but my friend had about 600$ worth of things to order. We never received any of them, with some purchases being made as far back as November 2020. When called and asked about the orders and where they are, the orders where canceled and refunded for seemingly no reason. All of the smug responses in the comments also tells me that the employees and owners have either no interest in doing whats right as they are either promising services they cant deliver, or they just dont care. You earn your reputation through customer service. Maybe one day the owner will realize that he is failing to meet expectations and either change drastically or stop completely. I dont wish any ill will to home town companies so it pains me to actually see this happening.Edit: again its not at the fault of the owners or store at all, oh well.
Bought an (in-stock) movie prop from them. Never heard anything back for 2 weeks. Then inquired. They said they had to order it but had already charged me. I asked why via email, another 2 weeks to get a response. They finally canceled my order 6 weeks later and refunded my money, no apologies or explanation why. Probably the worst, most confusing customer service Ive ever received in my life. Im pretty understanding / reasonable but it was just puzzling on so many levels.
I have only visited this store a couple times and it was very patchy service. Also the website is bad. Terrible Customer service from the owner 100% do not recommend going here. Completely unprofessional!
Ive never had anything but friendly interactions at this store. As a guy who has a large family and very little time besides time at work, something like collecting Pops is a fun escape. They provide something that makes others happy all while helping those who served our country. Will continue to be a regular customer, and support their business.

I have been waiting over a year for one order and close to a year for two separate orders, I have contacted customer service and they are rude and didnt reply to my last emails. I requested refunds for my orders and I have yet received them and it has close to be a month since I last requested the refund. Today I contacted them via chat and the personal was rude and unprofessional!! Please take your business to another store.

Do not order online or preorder from this company, they will take your money and deliver nothing. I pre-ordered 6 pops and they were delayed nearly 6 months+ (pre-ordered in january). After seeking to get a refund they were unable to do so because my PayPal changed it had been so long. I’ve purchased from the company 3 times. The first time had several pre-order items and understandably took awhile to be delivered, I do not blame the company for that. Second order was all in-stock items and arrived quickly and well packaged.If you are willing to wait several months to get your order, this company has great prices. Response times from the company can be a bit slow, but some leeway should be given to a small business dealing with so many customers.
POPnBeards is a great place to get your pops! I preordered a bunch of sodas and they took a while to arrive but I was constantly updated with the status until I received them a few days ago, excellent service and great communication as well. Any issues I had were immediately solved and a short while back they had a great sale 50% off In Stock Pops and I got a bunch that were on my list for half price! Definitely shopping here again! As a mother of three teens, all with different tastes but all who love some pop culture, POPnBeards was the perfect place to find some great Christmas gifts this year. The selection of Funko Pops is gigantic! The store is very organized and the gentlemen who assisted me on my shopping trip were extremely helpful! Definitely check this store out for some fun gift ideas.

Went to this place in person and they have a really good selection of collectibles! Probably the biggest shop in Asheville for pops! Had really fair prices imo! Will be visiting again!
Its been over 11 months since my order was placed and I still have not received it. They want to charge me 20% to cancel, take it up with Funko that they should ship you items faster, dont hold my money hostage. I used to order from here exclusively but after this I will never order from here again.
I’ve ordered from them 5 or 6 times, every order has arrived in great condition. Some have required waiting a few months, but for the prices it’s worth the wait. And the staff is great about responding to questions and posting updates on Facebook & in emails.
I really liked this store. It has a lot of Funko pops for a great price and a ton of cool things like shirts, gaming essentials. My only issue was with whatever they use to clean the store left an odor. Seriously it hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. My wife couldnt take it and had to leave. All in all I would go back but they gotta work on whatever that smell was.

Ive been buying from POPnBeards for quite a while now. Every time I buy they give me more of a reason to continue business with them. Even during this “pandemic” they’re always on top of their orders. The only reasons shipments are late is because of the actual production of the Funko’s themselves. I’ve never seen a company so involved with their customers either. Quite often, I will get emails that have to deal with my orders letting me know when there shipping and if they’re coming from Funko to POPnBeard or from POPnBeard to my door. Anytime I’ve ever had a problem with my account or a delivery, it’s NEVER a template response. You can tell someone’s typing these out individually and personally. They actually care. From a garage by himself to they’re second upgraded warehouse and a full team of people, the personal experience hasn’t veered off course even once. I have well over a hundred POP’s and more then half of them came from POPnBeards (Late discovery). ALWAYS my first stop shop for POP’s.
Placed an order on April 16. Received no part of my order for 5 months. During that time, I sent emails asking if I could get an update on my order (over $200). Never received any response with any updates. After 5 months, I sent an email stating if I didn’t receive an email response within 48 hours, I would assume this was a fraudulent company and start trying to get my money back, which I thought would be difficult 5 months later. Seven days later, I received an email stating my order was canceled because I threatened them. Trying to figure out if I’ve been scammed and threatening them are two very different worlds. All I needed to hear was a “yes, we are still trying to get an item” or something of that nature. I even offered in my emails to pay extra shipping if they could send ANY of the items I had ordered. No response, ever. In the end, they refunded the money. If you’d like to receive a product you order, I HIGHLY recommend going with another company.Update: I told the seller I would remove my review if they could show me any proof of any email update they claimed to have sent me. They still cannot prove they ever updated me. Buyer beware.
Best place ive found for mint in box pops. Prices are cheap and 4 inch protectors are free. They take a long time to ship out merchandise, but they send out weekly(ish) updates on shipment statuses.
The listing for this store has been up for months, with no mention that they closed. So I (a Pop lover) made a special trip to patronize a local business. Only to find out that they were NO LONGER THERE! I wish you the best but thats a shotty way to treat possible customers.Apparently, the store is reopening.

If you dont mind waiting minimum 6-8 months for your stuff with little to no communication in-between this is the store for you. Apparently the employees have 0 collaboration/interaction because they constantly say they have different people running the socials and the email, and nothing can ever be resolved. Gives small businesses a bad look with the amount of excuses they give with no actual improvement. They claim they will start doing weekly update emails, then bi-weekly, then they just stop altogether. They dont even bother to update the shipping dates on their site, but dont worry theyll have the pre-orders up the second they get announced. Give me a break. I ordered the products in September 2020 and there is no news until today. I keep writing to them and tell them that Will return: It will be delivered soon~ Jie Guo is not there. He uses this method to make you wait until you can’t stand the refund~ Now I also recognize it, and choose to refund~ He did absorb 20% Please don’t trust this company anymore~ My lesson is here for you!!
I reached out to them on social media first because I had gotten no updates in 2 months. I didn’t get a response on social media and reached out via email . Over a week I got an email stating I was banned cause I mentioned disputing my cc charge IF I didn’t hear back from them. They said they cancelled my order (with a 20% fee). Communication with them is terrible and all I wanted to know was when I was getting my order because it was outside the timeframe I was supposed to receive it.I already re-ordered from another site with much better reviews. If you have the option of not using popnbeards, don’t use them.
I just want to share my experience when it comes to #popnbeards I made my first pre-order on 5/29 this was for the Mayor Chase Bundle. I figured why not continue to support them so I made a few more pre-orders on 8/19, 8/26 and 9/8 the only one that is an exemption is the new set of the Golden Girls that won’t come out until next year. All of the other pre-orders were available at other stores and I didn’t purchase them when I saw them at the store because I already paid upfront for the pre-order. We are in December now and I’ve been very patient (you can see this in their email to me). The unfortunate part in asking for my orders to be canceled was going to come with a 20% restocking fee. If I chose to not go that route, I could pick from their “in-stock” section. Why would I want to pick something that is in stock when I’ve already pre-ordered what I wanted? I just took the loss because I didn’t want to deal with the company any longer. I’m not the only one who has been told “we cannot ship what funko doesn’t send us”. I totally understand but I feel that if this was the case, maybe #popsnbears shouldn’t make items available that they don’t have available. My refunds have come through and I just want to share with others to just be cautious of what you order from popsnbeards
Ordered multiple pops from them months ago and my experience echos that of other customers. I never got my order, only shipping dates being pushed back, month after month. Terrible customer service and even worse when it comes to actually fulfilling their obligations. DO NOT buy anything from this company.
I originally wasnt going to write my honest review here because the owner replies the same way to all other bad customer experiences with a, Well isn’t that a fine how-do-you-do. but I will now simply as a heads up to other customers about my preorder experience with them (also as a side note, my original rating only review still garnered a isnt that a fine how-do-you-do from them). This business has a history of being disrespectful toward upset customers who simply want answers to their unfulfilled orders. They do claim they send out weekly updates but only for items that have a tracking number and are shipping from Funko which is fair and I understand they cant do anything until Funko ships out the items. With that being said, a lot of customers including myself get understandably angsty when we still dont have the items in hand after ordering nearly a year ago (I had some pops on order from as far back as February that I ended up cancelling) and they are not polite about it if you inquire about it or will simply give you a copy and paste response in the emails you send them. As someone who has worked in retail myself I always tried to be polite to my customers even the ones who routinely werent polite to me 1) because its good customer service and 2) because at the end of the day those customers still came back to do business because my colleagues and I treated them with respect. Pop n beards has terrible customer service and to date one of the worst customer service Ive received not just from a Funko vendor but from any business in general. Aint that a fine how-do-you-do?

Paid many months ago $160 for the new haunted mansion sets coming out in October.continuous delays and communications about the items continue to happened.so i asked to cancel my order.this is company is so bad that they only refunded $128 after a 20% fee for cancellation.customer shouldnt be penalized for their inventory not available.first and last purchase ever
For the most part they have been great, do they take longer than others.. yes but they do delivery. Out of all my orders I have had only one issue, but instead of resolving it, the owner decide to cancel my pre-orders before ever fixing the situation at hand. Im hot headed as well so my wife fixes everything instead of me trying, because Im also on that cancel that mofo too.. hate it didnt work out but it was probably for the better for both of us. In conclusion the owner did try to make it right, but being that a week had already past and hadnt received a email, local friends and shops took care of us in replacing damaged goods and completing my set.

I ordered from another site and got my funkos for the same price before I even got a response from this company. Then they take 20% and write rude emails and call names because i had to write more than one email to even get a response. Order from anywhere but here. I promise they are the worst.
Emails take forever to be answered and when they are actually answered, the replies are rude and not very helpful. I ordered an item from them in Q1 2020 but as of November did not receive the item. Would not recommend.
Order elsewhere. I have had nothing but problems with PopnBeards. Of the15 pops I had ordered from them I received ZERO. I ordered Funko pops in February as preorders which were released in May, it is now September 29th and I still have not received them. Zero communication from the seller unless you pester them about order status. Also, they will keep 20% of your total purchase amount even when they fail to fulfill an order three months after the items have all released. They partially refunded me and acted like there was no problem with their lack of service. Felt like a SCAM. Will not buy from them ever again and suggest others follow suite. Buy from reputable sellers.

Placed an order in May -- now it is November 1 and I still do not have my items. I was told Id receive them in July, then in August, then in September, and then they dont know. Terrible customer service - had to dispute the transaction with my credit card because they wouldnt refund me!

It needs to posted in this area that this gaming store no longer exist. I went to this location expecting a great gaming experience and was severely let down.
Pre-Order sat idle for 9 months and was never fulfilled due to delays from Funko (I guess). Thankfully, contacting on social media allowed my issue to be resolved. Owner seems to work hard and really cares. Although I cancelled my order, I will consider doing business with tthem in the future because of the professionalism that was offered to me

Cool place, but 90% of it is Pop Vinyls and very few games. Would have felt more welcoming if we got a hello or something and didn’t have to stand at the register for 5 minutes without any acknowledgement.

Enjoyed this place and my new Funko Pickle Rick! They had no Snorlax or Furret Pokemon card, but the guy helped us try to find one! One thing to add is some Rocket League items and Ill come here whenever I can!

A huge selection of Funko Pops! Always has Exclusives and Chase Pops! Every trip is worth it, even if it just to browse. They have other collectibles and a gamers area.
