Wow, what an adorable coffee shop, fantastic and friendly service and delicious, small-batch espresso!This locally-owned shop features gorgeous handmade benches inside along with solid wood and metal-embellished furniture that I find totally rad!Shirley and the other barista were really knowledgeable, patient and kind and I totally recommend supporting this local, woman-owned shop!

Just went there this morning and honestly, the vibe was just not there. the description on google highlights a place to get out and stretch your legs but youll find the parking lot and dining/cafe area are very small. my coffee choice was a pumpkin caramel latte and even though they used whole milk, it wasnt very rich and the beans werent very flavorful. Im a barista too, so id definitely know haha. I saw in the description what beans they use when i got home, i couldnt find it indicated in the store. I hoped they would utilize a local roaster like dynamite down the road but alas they do not. The inside was cute, but white, gray, etc. I didnt notice a bookshelf of games, toys, or books, so i dont know where the family friendly aspect is. Maybe they have coloring pages behind the counter.

I’ve gotten coffee from here twice, and it has been fantastic both times. Their customer service is great, and the coffee is top notch. I highly recommend the Chai Latte or the Coconut Caramel Latte.

This coffee shop is AMAZING:- The place is very clean, comfy and stylish. The atmosphere and design is incredible. Loved the the chalkboard wall, Christmas decorations, and paintings on the wall.- The coffee was fabulous. They offer different kinds of milk such as coconut milk, almond milk, and oat milk. I like strong coffee so I ordered a large cafe latte with 4 shots, and it was the best latte I’ve ever had. My fiancé had the signature mocha latte with coconut milk. It perfectly blended the flavors of chocolate and coffee and was not too sweet like the mocha latte we had in other places.- The food was fresh and delicious. Our favorite was the “monster” bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. Highly recommended. The chicken salad and pulled pork lunch sandwiches were also great. The prices were affordable too. The lunch sandwiches were BIG and one sandwich can feed two people. I also loved the take out packages. The warm sandwiches were wrapped in foil and put in pretty paper bags. The package kept the food warm and my hands clean -> great experience.- The staff are super hospitable and friendly. They all wore masks. The shop also offers free masks and hand sanitizer. They also have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen.

Great place to have a morning breakfast - inside or outside on the patio! We had the breakfast bagel sandwich and the gf veggie quiche, which was full of flavor and perfect in every way. Great restaurant vibe, friendly staff, a good variety of options, and EXCELLENT lattes!!!

The only coffee shop we go out of our way to go to when visiting Asheville. Great coffee. Great little place to hang out. Plenty of food selections as well. Great customer service. I just wish they had a dark roast option on the drip.

What a treat this coffee shop is! We stopped in on our way through Asheville and enjoyed a bagel and pumpkin chocolate chip muffin with our drinks (iced coffee and Mayan mocha). Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff!

Tried a cubano, very overcooked. My boyfriend got a frappe, tasted powderery neither were good. It looks like a bunch of different ideas thrown together but none of it is cohesive. Slow service, plus high prices. Chicken pot pie was questionable. (You can’t tell me that’s homemade)! Guaranteed not coming back. Will not recommend to anyone.

Discovered this terrific coffee shop when I cut through Sweeten Creek to avoid the Hendersonville Road traffic. The ladies were able to make my iced chai exactly as I make it at home with a mix of almond milk and heavy cream. I totally recommend....so creamy! I love the whole atmosphere. I live in Candler but will definitely stop by again when Im in south Asheville.

Everythings awesome about this country house turned coffee shop. Dont know what the relation is with Sweeten Creek Brewery.Great furnishings for getting work done, free wifi, well explained menu, bit and bites to eat, walk up window. They got errything a coffeeshop should be! Even a porch!

Although Sweeten Creek Coffee has only been open for less than a year, they offer excellent pastries and really good coffee on a regular basis. There’s no other coffee shop right in this area and I’m really grateful they have such a good one open up. The quiches and apple pie are way above average, and far too tempting… not to mention the other breakfast-y foods they have.

I had an Americano that was tasty and not at all a bitter disappointment, like my first girlfriend.

Tried this little place since it was conveniently close to our hotel. I was genuinely so excited since I love little coffee shops, and being here definitely was worth it. My coffee order isn’t anything major but I really enjoyed it and the whole environment of this place. The workers are great and work really hard to keep everything clean, safe and running. Visiting for a long anniversary weekend, my husband and I decided to find coffee and breakfast while exploring Asheville. So glad we found Sweeten Creek Coffee! Very welcoming, clean, cozy and so good! We both had iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Before leaving, I HAD to have another iced coffee to-go! A definite must!

Stopped through on our way from Nashville to Raleigh. Looking for a place that had good coffee and some lunch options. It hit the spot and had some indoor seating that allowed us to take a break from the car. All the folks there were super friendly, the coffee was great, and the place had a neat vibe.

We went there two days in a row. You must try the chicken pot pie.

Its beautiful ❤️. In the restaurant the music is soothing. You are recognized by name if they know who you are. I had the chicken pot pie. Its great! The coffee and baked goods are worth the trip alone as well.

Placed an order online, arrived over half an hour later to pickup and was told the order was not ready but they’d do their best to speed it up. Waited 15 minutes then they came back to where I was sitting waiting to tell me the order had been cancelled. Received no call or text of the cancellation prior to my arrival nor was I told when I arrived that it was cancelled. Terrible way to do business. Will not be back.

Very clean, good service, love the recycle trash area. Not only good coffee but also has other goodies. Worth a stop and check it out if youre in the area.

Friendly staff and delicious coffee. Their large latte is moderately priced and comes with 4 espresso shots, so needless to say, you get the bang for your buck! The shop was CDC compliant, clean, and cute with succulents on every table. Will definitely be back :)

The best bacon cheese sandwich I have ever had. It tasted much better than those food chain restaurants. Highly recommended! Also, Signature latte was impressive too. Not too bitter and not too sweet. It was just right taste and texture.

I drove up to visit some family in the Asheville area and they took me to this coffee shop for some breakfast. I’m not the most well versed coffee drinker (I mainly stick to Dunkin’ ice coffee) but I have to say that I really enjoyed the experience I had there. The employees were very friendly and helped me make the right choice for me. If you are visiting Asheville and are looking for some great coffee while also being locally owned, this is the place.

STOP IN! Dont just drive by! Pleasantly surprised by this find on my commute to work. Great and unique coffee menu, a variety of food items, and fantastic customer service. Treated a new customer just like a regular...which is often lost in the hustle and bustle of the chain coffee spots in the area. Not pricey either. And its a local company that supports other local businesses. Surely Ill be going back!

Saw the sign advertising chicken-pot-pie, it was lunch and I was starving, sooo....Now I’m stuffed, I ordered (& ate) 2 helpings and had them make me a sweet tea (brewed and made one cup). Needless to say it was delicious, just like mom’s. 👍😊

This coffee shop is one of the best. I loved every second that I was here. The hospitality, friendliness, and service were top notch way beyond the max 5 stars google would allow me to rate it. I had the signature iced mocha which was amazing and my favorite iced mocha drink I ever had. Also you would not believe how good the chicken pot pie is. I will definitely return also the owner has some great jokes as well.

EXCELLENT!This is for sure, has the BEST Mocha I have ever had the pleasure of drinking! I usually never leave reviews, this place is well kept, clean, friendly and a welcoming environment.I came here on a whim, because it was close to me. I had never heard of it until now. I highly recommend it.

So Im trying to lose weight right now and avoiding anything except for black coffee and espresso. I happen to find this place while waiting for someone and have to say it is pretty good coffee just by the strength of their black coffee alone I can recommend this place. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was, they saved my morning.

My husband and I live near by and he saw this coffee shop pop up on Google Maps one day. On a Saturday morning, we decided to give it a try and it exceeded my expectations. This coffee shop is charming and welcoming. Their menu is extensive, their cafe is beautifully decorated with 5 or so tables & chairs and there is outdoor seating as well. They also have a walk up window to order from which is great during social distancing. My husband loved his cappuccino. My frozen vanilla latte was very similar to a frappe and it was sweet and delicious. They warmed up our muffin for us and it was melt in your mouth amazing.

What a great coffee shop! The staff was friendly and welcoming with a nice selection of tea choices as well as very good bakery treats. They were very on top of Covid safety and health measures. Also, it was easy to get in and out with plenty of parking. This is now a go-to for me.

The coffee is incredible and so reasonably priced, the environment is cozy and peaceful, and the staff is just as incredible as the coffee. I chose this cute place after reading the Google reviews! We stopped before our hike to chimney Rock and the coffee and breakfast bagels were great! The nitro cold brew was so smooth and my oat milk latte was perfectly not to sweet and creamy 😋Also one of the people working there suggest craggy gardens as a must see before leaving and it was so worth it!

Best cold brew in western carolina. As a touring musician I have tasted all the brews, and this one packs a punch! I love the location as it is right on the road to work! Love the walk up window, and the staff/family are super friendly.

I cant say enough good things about Sweeten Creek Coffee. The baristas are very knowledgeable. They create amazing coffee drinks that are familiar but also create new coffee experiences that are sure to please! Everyone is friendly and very welcoming. If you dont have time to stay and relax there is the option of the walk up window, you can preorder online...OR you can call in for an order to go. Plenty of ordering options for everyone.

Amazing. This new, local business is a welcome stop in my way out of S Asheville to work. Apple pie with cinnamon-flavored whipped cream, hot cocoa with chocolate-flavored whipped cream, and mini marshmallows. . .all the finishing touches that made our ritual Friday breakfast out a real treat.

The walk up window was fast, convenient and stroller friendly. The coffee was top notch, the muffin warm and delicious and once they saw how full my hands were with my 2 toddlers, they delivered my order to my car! Possibly some of the best, most friendly service Ive gotten in Asheville!! We will definitely be going back!

WOWZA.Not only is the coffee absolutely OUTSTANDING... but the staff makes you feel right at home, treating you just like family. My best friend and I just happened upon this coffee shop running errands yesterday, and needless to say... we are back again today, and most likely will be begging for more caffeine, sprinkled with joy and Christmas cheer, for the rest of the season, and for years to come!They are taking all the proper precautions for socially distancing customers, even offering free masks, and hand sanitizer — and of course Christmas mints! LOTS of them hahaThe bathrooms and lobby are both extremely clean and well maintained— and the fire on the tv and the seasonal jams are a festive, cozy touch!We can’t thank Sweeten Creek Coffee enough for spreading joy and delicious treats — especially during this time of year when it’s so desperately needed.P.S.
